	London 2012 Olympics 3D / Opening Ceremony @ Trafalgar Square 2012 Olympics in London is about the biggest 3D broadcast event so far. The professionals bring you all the sport coverage and I filmed the people, the spectators, the fans whom we are to thank for the great atmosphere they create on this amazing event. It's their emotions,expressions and happiness that get as all excited about the Olympics. Shot on GoPro Hero 2 in original 3D kit housing @ 720p60 as I wanted to be able to burn in to 3D Blu-ray. Latest "WiFi something something" firmware version installed on GoPro's that fixes the exposure & white balance issue. Agree with the exposure being fixed, but WB is a satisfying 95% match, promised to be fully solved in the next proTune firmware, but even as for now, this firmware is proving to be finally usable without any intensive corrections to match the two views. Sound recorded with Zoom H1, synced in post with Plural Eyes 2. Used it for the first time, and I was gobsmacked how it just managed to do it, despite the sound recorded inside the waterproof housing on the GoPro's was muted,super quiet and totally deformed. 	2012 Olympic Flame Arrives in London - 3D & 2D Full 1080p HD The 2012 Olympic flame arrives in London via helicopter at The Tower of London, where it will be guarded alongside the Crown Jewels; just in case anyone might want to steal it. Video in 3D or 2D - Full HD - 1020p. Point of view was Potters Fields Park [sic]; between the Mayor's Office and Tower Bridge - on the south bank of the River Thames. Recorded on a Sony Bloggie 3D, model: MHS-FS3. Forgive the shakiness. I have a steady hand, but 3D camcorders show up irregular movement far more than a 2D equivalent. Also, the Sony Bloggie 3D does not have any form of image stabilization when in 3D mode - either optical or digital. In addition to that, the small, flat shape of the camcorder (very similar to an iPhone) means that any instability in the hand is captured in unflattering detail by the twin lenses and CMOS sensors. The Sony Bloggie 3D works best when held stationary or moved very steadily on a tripod or steadicam, but unfortunately the 1/4" screw mounting socket is on the end face, which makes it incompatible with many tripods - and not particularly well held by those that can accommodate its vertical screw mount. Best thought of as a very high quality mobile 3D webcam. Excellent results when static and subjects move across its field of view - within about 1 to 10 metres. The torch was carried alongside the River Severn in Bewdley, Worcestershire to the Seven Valley Railway station (Heritage steam engines and track) enroute to Kidderminster. For some reason the image is stretched when view as anaglyph at the moment side by side works best. Youtube appears to switch the left and right images.
