The Truth About Money Production Kicks Into High Gear

3 Roads series, The Truth About Money with Ric Edelman, has kicked into high gear.  Among the April highlights: two live question and answer sessions.  The first, recorded at Ft. Belvoir, VA with members of the military and their families.  Then, we recorded a more intimate personal financial session with Ric Edelman and eight college students asking questions about money, careers, and student loans at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island.  Our new season of twenty-six episodes will debut this summer on public TV.  For more information, please go to www.truthaboutmoneytv.com.

Rescue in the Philippines To Premiere in Frederick at The Weinberg Center

3 Roads’ award-winning documentary, Rescue in the Philippines, will have a charity screening on June 6th at the beautiful, 1100-seat Weinberg Center for the Arts in downtown Frederick, MD.  The screening will benefit the Stephen Siller Let Us Do Good Foundation(www.tunnel2towers.org).  Named after heroic 9/11 firefighter, Stephen Siller, the Foundation builds homes for veterans with multiple amputations, provides assistance for Hurricane Sandy victims, and provides funds for firefighter burn units.  Tickets for the event are $10.  To order, please visit the Weinberg Center box office at  www.weinbergcenter.org.

“Rescue” and 3 Roads In May Issue of Frederick Magazine 

Award-winning Frederick Magazine puts the spotlight on 3 Roads this month with a six-page spread on its production of Rescue in the Philippines.   Editor-in-Chief Guy Fletcher personally interviewed principals Russ Hodge and Cynthia Scott at their headquarters in downtown Frederick, acquiring behind-the-scenes insight into the journey that compelled them to tell this little-known story on the screen. “THE TRUTH ABOUT MONEY” HITS 20,000TH BROADCAST ON APRIL 15TH

The Truth About Money with Ric Edelman,” will reach its 20,000th broadcast right about tax day, April 15th.  The first two seasons of the series are still going strong in public television distribution, and our new season begins distribution this summer.  We’re still in production, with a lot of audience participation.  On April 9th, we are in NYC at Dangerfield’s Comedy Club to tape fifteen comedians on their “Funny Money” routines.  And on April 16th the 3 Roads crew will be at Ft. Belvoir, VA, as Ric answers tough financial questions from an audience comprised of military families.

3 ROADS PRINCIPALS PERFORM COMMUNITY SERVICE WORK

Recently 3 Roads principals Cynthia Scott and Russ Hodge used their talents to help the community.  Russ presented a media training session for the Frederick Non-Profit Alliance Symposium.  Cynthia served as a  judge for the annual Department of Defense Visual Information Production Awards.

The public is invited to a free taping of an award-winning public television show.

Bring your financial questions to the Weinberg Center for the Arts, and possibly be featured on public television’s The Truth About Money with Ric Edelman!

Best-selling author and top financial advisor Ric Edelman brings his unique brand of financial savvy to public television in The Truth About Money with Ric Edelman, a series of 26 half-hour episodes, now filming its third season.  Barron’s has ranked Edelman the #1 independent financial advisor in the nation a record three times, and he’s bringing that expertise to Frederick.

Edelman will be taping a question and answer session at the Weinberg Center on Thursday, March 21, 2013.  The taped footage will be used in upcoming episodes of The Truth About Money with Ric Edelman.  The evening kicks off with a hors d’oeuvres reception at 6:30 p.m., and begins taping at 7:30 p.m.  The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited, so reserve your seat today.
