We are inviting all 4-H clubs to participate by donating gently used or new prom dresses. Through this campaign, 4-H members have the opportunity to serve their community while supporting an important milestone in the lives of fellow youth.

How Your Club Can Participate

• Collect gently used or new prom dresses (all sizes and styles welcome)
• Host a club or community dress drive
• Encourage members to promote the campaign at school or within their community
• Count participation toward community service hours and 4-H record books

Who is eligible? This training is open to any eligible potential coaches statewide.

Each discipline will be available PENDING available instructors and minimum needed number of participants. If a discipline is not available or cancelled, registered attendees will be refunded or allowed to select a different discipline.

When will it be? March 6-7, 2026 (Friday-Saturday)
• Training begins at 2:00 pm on March 7th.
• Tentatively, events early afternoon on March 8th.

How much does it cost?

• Early bird (before Feb. 16th): $125
• Late (February 17th- March 1st): $150
• An online “Green Injection” training is required before attending. This training is $20 and the link will be sent to you when you register for this event.
• Lodging is available for an additional cost:
  • Hotel-style lodging: $110/room/night
  • Dormitory-style lodging: $40/person/night

• Registration will open January 23rd and close March 1st.
• Registration includes meals and course materials

Additional details:

• Only one discipline certification (archery, pistol, rifle or shotgun) is obtainable per participant at this training
• Tentative schedule, what to bring list, and release forms can be found on the 4-H Center website and will be sent to each participant in a confirmation e-mail.
• Please Note: Even though registration will be done through the 4-H Center Registration System, all participants still MUST have an ACTIVE Profile in 4-H Online and have passed the Background Check PRIOR to participating in the training. (This will be checked!- NO EXCEPTIONS)
• Please refer to the participant letter at the end of this document. You will also receive it in the confirmation e-mail.

  • With that being said, all participants at the training MUST have an active profile through 4-H Online to meet 4-H Volunteer requirements.

• After registering for the event, the 4-H Center will send you participant information which includes a tentative schedule, a list of what to bring, and instructions for the Green Injection.

Get into the holiday spirit with a fun, hands-on cooking workshop designed just for youth! Kids in the Kitchen: Holiday Edition gives young chefs the chance to build confidence in the kitchen, learn essential cooking and food safety skills, and prepare two delicious (and healthier!) holiday appetizers they can recreate at home.

This festive workshop offers a safe, engaging, and educational environment for kids to explore creativity through cooking.

Kids will:

• Learn basic kitchen skills
• Practice safe food handling and preparation techniques
• Create two simple, tasty, and healthier holiday appetizers
• Explore ingredient swaps and alternatives that boost nutrition
