Strategic Agency Partnership - Jane Nation MROC Launch

This month marks a significant milestone in our continued pursuit to strategically partner with our customers to bring fresh and innovative online community concepts to life. In partnering with the Jacksonville, FL based advertising agency St. John & Partners (http://www.sjp.com), we are delighted to announce the launch of Jane Nation (http://www.janenation.com).

Jane Nation represents the ongoing segmentation of social networks and online communities that focus on the personal interests, needs and real-life matters of a select demographic. As the larger social networks continue to provide a pool of people who are connecting on various levels, we see a big shift in emerging community concepts that provide meaningful, more personal venue for connecting and communicating with individuals who share similar life experiences.

Jane Nation is a community where women of all ages and life stages come to find information, inspiration and the invitation to affect change in their world.

"While the community will be open to adult women of all ages, we believe our sweet spot will be women in their mid-30s – 60s who are experiencing some kind of life event that has affected them physically, mentally, spiritually or emotionally. They are looking for one of three things:

1)    Information to help them make decisions or affirm the ones they have already made

2)    Connection with others who are currently going through what they are experiencing or have gone through it

Through this channel, St. John & Partners is demonstrating their commitment to listening to and understanding what truly interests and provides perceivable benefit to the Jane Nation audience. As an ongoing strategic technology partner, Four Roads provided the creative design, custom development and integration services for Phase 1 of the Jane Nation community. In addition, our soon to be released calendar and event management product offering (Chronos) was also implemented as part of this initiative.

CS Publisher 1.1 now available

A new release of CS Publisher providing compatibility with CS 2008.5 SP2 is now available for immediate download. Updates for Nexus and Commerce will be added shortly.

Following the release of SP2 for CS2008.5 and Evolution, all Four Roads applications are being tested and updated to ensure ongoing compatibility. Individual product announcements will be made in the coming days as each one is verified and released. We'd like to thank all customers for their patience while we complete this process.

Announcing Facebook Connect and CMS for Community Server

The past couple of months have been, well for lack of a better term, simply awesome. With a fresh new look and feel for our site we're proud to annouce the release of two new offerings that enhance our product portfolio and more importantly, deliver immense value to the Community Server ecosystem. Fellow Telligent partners and CS adopters will truly appreciate what we've brought to market.

We're excited to announce the release of Nexus, our extensible social network publishing provider and CS Publisher, a lean but very mean CMS for Community Server. As we continue commit to Telligents' community platform, our focus is honed on building high quality products that:

Boost ROI
Increase productivity
Reduce total cost of ownership (TCO)
Promote and facilitate membership growth

Both products are now available for purchase and download via our site for Personal and Business (SMB) editions. For all Enterprise licensing questions, please feel free to contact us as I will be happy to assist.

We're extremely excited about the evolution of our products in 2009 as our business and visibility continues to grow. As a 1.0 release Nexus currently supports Facebook integration and will soon support publishing for Twitter and LinkedIn.

As for Publisher, we are now looking at incorporating Newsletter creation with the ability distribute to specific roles/groups within the community.

As for Commerce, we are focusing on a rewards system to futher promote member activity and contribution within the community.

And finally, be on the lookout for our official CS Calendar release as we've incorporated some great features and AJAX controls that siginificantly enhance the user experience.

Our road map is set and will undoubtedly evolve as we continue to listen and respond to our customers' needs. After all, isn't that how all great products are built?

Commerce for CS 2008 released

We are proud and excited to announce that Commerce for Community Server 2008 is now available for download.

The past two months have been quite busy. Feature requests for Commerce are coming in fast and we're responding to them as quickly as possible. This new version of Commerce is a significant step forward and we owe the Community Server development team a big Thank You for delivering a terrific Community Server release. The new version of Commerce integrates seamlessly into CS 2008.

Improvements to Commerce include the following:

A new sales report shows sales by product and sales by manufacturer
You can now offer subscriptions having a trial period that differs from the renewal period (e.g., trial period for 14 days with a paid renewal every 30 days)
The shop dashboard now shows the number of product views
New shop themes are compatible with the CS Hawaii and Calypso themes
The Authorize.net payment gateway now supports trial subscriptions
In the Control Panel, we've added some miscellaneous improvements to the product maintenance screens
Improved caching and performance

We believe that you should be able to generate revenue with your community and we believe that Commerce for CS 2008 will help you do it! If you're new to Commerce download a trial now.

Commerce 1.3 for CS 2007 Release

I'm pleased to announce the release of Commerce 1.3

We have taken on board some features that have been requested by our clients and rolled in some maintenance issues that have been indentified whilst creating Commerce 2.0 for CS 2008.

New to this version is tabular reporting, email notification override for shop owners and the ability to control the view state of a product when in category list.

This is a small release and over the next few days I'm looking forward to announcing the release of Four Roads Commerce 2.0 for CS 2008.

Four Roads Commerce 2007 v1.2 released

Four Roads Commerce 1.2 for CS 2007 is now released in the downloads section of the site. This release includes a set of exciting requirements that our customers have been asking for as well as improvements to the default theme, making your site more professional out of the box.

New Features:

Clone products feature; allowing you to quickly create a collection of simlar products withoutr re-entering data.
Product Linking; a new control panel page to allow you to associate products of the same type into a group.
Automatic Product Variants; Linked products can take advantage of the common category properties of the products and allow a user to navigate between product variants easily and quickly.
Default Theme Updates; To make your site more stylish we have updated the default theme.

We hope you like the new changes and for those waiting for the CS 2008 version, it's well on it's way the CS 2008 release will include all of the functionality of the CS 2007 1.2 plus a new theme.

I am pleased to announce that the new version of Four Roads Commerce is now available to download for trial or to purchase.

Four Roads Commerce Road Map (Updated)

It's been a few short months since the release of Four Roads Commerce for CS 2007.

We're following up with releases every 2 to 4 weeks that implement the features our customers tell us they need. Right now, the roadmap for version 1 releases is as follows:

Four Roads Commerce v1.2 - expected by April 18th, 2008

Support for copying products
Product variants - Lets you group together products that are essentially the same item but vary slightly in characteristic. For example, red pens vs. blue pens.

Four Roads Commerce v1.3 - to be released on the heels of Community Server 2008

Supports Community Server 2008
Includes current feature set of Commerce 2007 v1.2

Four Roads Commerce v1.4

New reports
Additional support for managing subscriptions

Four Roads Launches New Site

Welcome to the new Four Roads website.

During the last year Four Roads has been growing at a fantastic rate, both supplying services to clients and developing products such as Four Roads Commerce. We've split the site into some logical areas to help you find what you need fast, however if there is something we've missed then contact us here.

The new site is based on Community Server and also has Four Roads Commerce integrated. As you can see we have extensive experience of Community Server and an in depth knowledge of how to build custom sites. Visit the Services section to read more on what we can do for you and also read about some of the clients who we've already worked with.

On the site we also offer our growing selection of Add-On products for Community Server. These products are specifically designed for Community Server and integrated quickly and efficiently with little development knowledge, expanding and adding value to your community.
