Happy New Year! NOTR Album Progress...

So first things first, Happy New Year! You all survived another year on Earth, Recession "recovery," and another year of Obama! (Let's not get political, though)

Back on track here, some news for NOTR: (previously Not of the Rejected, but that sounded fatuus to them [learn Latin], so yeah...) NORT has begun recording their first album, dubbed District 2 EP, by one of the tracks on the disc. So far, as of the last update a week ago, they are now finished recording AND mastering 4 of the 7 tracks to be on the EP. The studio got a prieview of one of the songs, and you can find their Making of District 2 EP: Day 1 video on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lmh_ZK8tKE8. Please head over and watch the video, as it NEEDS MORE VIEWS desperately. Finally, the last of the info available we can give is the rough release date, which seems to be Summer '11... seems to be... seems to be... seems t, oh forget it.

DJ Astro Studios, on the other hand has been busy in the studio concocting his next mix, this one of Caught Up In Th Middle by MercyMe. So far, we heard he got a good bass line, then he split his time to manage a contest for what song he should remix next, or after this one, on YouTube. You can vote in this until January 31 at midnight, so get out there and be heard! Here is his YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/user/DJAstroStudios.

For now, the skies are clear from any storms invading on 404music. Just be aware that the label may terminate after both DJ Astro and NOTR are re-labeled or the label may be renamed, as we have found that 404music is taken by a rap label.

We're Back! New NOTR Vocalist, Too!

Thanks for coming back to read us, the label was BUSY for a while getting things ready in the DJ Astro Radio Studio to start up his internet show again. It should be on in the next few weeks, as we finish setting up all the new mixers. He also recently inherited a CD music library of over 5,000 songs from his dad, and got cleared by his licensing to play all of the tracks! (As long as he pays royalties, UGH) Well anyway, the studio here has been fairly quiet lately, unless you caught the Facebook NOTR band meeting where the band discussed some album finalizing. We think the album might be delayed, too. :( Make sure to check them out with the Facebook groups Not of the Rejected and DJ Astro to keep up-to-date with all the news, along with friending Jonathan St. Vincent (info above), but make sure to send a message along with the friend request letting him know that it's for 404music or else he won't add you!

NOTR GOT A NEW VOCALIST! Thanks to some friends in the "biz" NOTR is working on adopting Lauren into the band, and she should be heard on the first album when it comes out, they may even re-record G-Force instead of trashing it. More to come on that later.

In other news Noah (aka Ringo) is almost done with his new song for the band called... (visit the Facebook group Not of the Rejected to find out! haha) It is really good, and almost ready to be demo-ed in the studio and send off to some various other labels. (this is a temporary one, until they truley get signed)

New Video Format for DJAstroStudios

Well, this will be a short post, but it is mainly to describe the main functionality of the newer video structure that DJAstroStudios will be using on their YouTube videos. They will now be incorporating a full-window "SUBSCRIBE" link on every video, and you can activate it by clicking anywhere inside the video window to subscribe. Also, though not setup yet, we will be switching our video to WIDESCREEN for more video quality, and attempt to upload in HQ. Please be aware that DJAstroStudios is currently in a 3-month battle to get YouTube partnership with us, so help us out and vote up our vids and subscribe! Other than those main pints, the basic principles of the videos will be the same, unless said otherwise. Posted below is one of the newly modified videos. (Not in HQ yet.) Simply glide over the video frame to see the hiiden subscribe feature, and the special ***opportunity*** it brings when a subscriber.
