Renee the movie sneak peak!

The first sneak peak of "Renee" has been released!!! Me and some friends are actually extras in a few scenes of this movie (see previous blog posts) that was filmed right here in Orlando March of this year. The movie stars Kat Dennings, Chad Michael Murray, Corbin Bleu, Rupert Friend, among others.

The official press release states....

"The story follows 19-year-old Renee (played by Kat Dennings) who has always loved fairy tales: the idea of a princess, a hero and a happily ever after. But Renee’s life is that of a darker tale: she’s a young woman battling addiction, depression and self-injury. In a creative blend of artistic fantasy balanced with harsh reality, the movie follows Renee on her courageous journey towards recovery".

The movie is scheduled to be released in 2012. I'm looking forward to it as its based on the true story of Renee Yohe. I'm hoping to spot us on it as we were actually responsible for helping Kat crowd surf and setting her back down beside us, which was filmed multiple times with us RIGHT there lol!

Grand Floridian Tea Room

Last week I finally got to try out the Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian! We went as a girl's brunch for my friends birthday as none of us had ever been before, despite hearing lots about it! Our booking was for 3pm so we decided to browse round the hotel while we waited, which is always a good idea as its such a beautiful hotel at the high end of Disney's many properties.

I just love the main foyer in this hotel, the chandeliers are stunning, and the human size bird cage is so pretty! Shame they don't let you in it really LOL! If you are ever in the area around Christmas you have to come visit this hotel, as they have an amazing tree in the middle, and a life size ginger bread house to visit! You can smell it as soon as you walk into the hotel! But Summer here is just as gorgeous, especially outside!

Everywhere you look are stunning gardens and beautiful buildings, the grounds are amazing here!

I could spend ages just on the beach here, and in fact last Christmas me and my friend did spend ages there on this very hammock, just being silly and taking funny pictures! Much to the amusement of the passing staff members I'm sure LOL!

After we had walked around and worked up an appetite we went back inside to eat. I had tried to search online what the menu items would be, and had found a few different versions, but when we got there the price had gone up by about $5 on the items I found and the options were different. So obviously they were old menus I had seen, but at least I had a general idea.

The tea room is very quaint and I can see why you would have to book in busy times as its not very big, which gives it a more personal feeling.

We all decided to opt for the Buckingham Tea, which consisted of choice of tea, sandwiches, mini tarts , scones with clotted cream and jam (YES!) pastries and or Strawberries w/cream. The sandwiches are TINY LOL but were very tasty, with the crusts cut off of course!

We all tried a different tea but the best by far was the Princess Tea!!! I heard it was the most popular but the rebel in me ordered something different, and of course, I regretted it! It was really tasty!!! I also loved the china and the tea cosy!!

The scone was really good, with white raisins (insert fancy name that I'm sure they have LOL) and I loved the mini jam pot, mini stuff is always just adorable!

The dessert stand looked so cute I just had to take a picture of him holding it! They had chocolate covered strawberries, fruit tarts, chocolate eclairs and mango mouse swans!

The swans looked so cute you didn't want to eat them....but we did, we got over it! Everything tasted so yummy, even the strawberries and cream were really good!

Even though everything looked like small portions, by the time you get to dessert you feel SO full, I think its due to all the tea you drink at the same time LOL! Was wondering if they did refills but it turned out that it didn't matter as we were all far too full to want any more!

I didn't order the trifle but snuck a picture of it on the way out, it looked yummy except the American version has jam instead of jelly.

After the meal you all get brought a beautiful pink rose to take home, so cute!

All in all it was such a lovely afternoon, the food was great, the tea was great and the tea room was gorgeous!!! It was tasty, filling, and perfect for a celebration! (Or just a treat!) I would certainly recommend it, it was also great for me being a vegetarian, very tasty options! Im not sure how a guy would enjoy it, I'm sure they would as the food is that good, but it certainly felt more of a girly treat day :)

Joey Fatone from N'Sync's Estate Sale!

Last night I read on TMZ that Joey Fatone was having an estate sale at his Orlando mansion this weekend! As a fan of N'Sync and a lot...a LOT of boy-bands (LOL) and having driven by his house before trying to sneak a peak, I was so excited to read this! His house has been featured on MTV Cribs before, so I knew what to expect and was looking forward to seeing his humongous closet and secret passageways!!!

My husband just wanted to go and see the Thundercats Sword and the revolving garage floor to display his cars!

We got there just before it opened, and we all walked in from the main gate and had the choice of viewing the party room (6 car the garage) first or the house, we chose the house! It was really well organized by Graham's, they were handing out baskets and had registers set up at the exit to accept credit cards/cash. We had to hand in our bags, which was worrying as they didn't label it but she promise she would remember which was mine!!!

We didn't have access to the theatre room but every other room was open! We found out he recently managed to sell the home after trying for a while, so some of the items were to remain for the new owners. Every little item was labelled with a price so it was very easy!

The chef style gourmet kitchen was stunning! Everything was for sale, but the tv. So many appliances, crockery, recipe books etc! There was also a chef's pantry with some wine coolers but they were staying. There were lots of snacks and drinks for sale which was funny. I saw some girls walking around eating some and drinking Redbulls LOL.

The upstairs consisted of 2 guest rooms, their girls room, a baby room, a play room and a game room. The game room was pretty cool with its own bar! I loved the girls room but a lot of it was still quite pricey, and some personalized with her name/initials.

Some of the items I thought it weird they didn't keep, like her height chart through the years, I would have kept that.

The weirdest thing was the scary demon bunny I found!!! LOL Im sure there's a story behind that!! He was just sat there chilling amongst the Care Bears pretending to fit in!!!

The play room was very cool, again it had some personalized items and a LOT of toys and dolls!

My favorite part was the N'Sync merchandise!! I found a cute Teddy bear collection that were limited edition charity basketball ones! HAD to get one! Then I got a lanyard from the same game, no reason, just thought it was cool.

I got talked out of the N'Sync inflatable chair though :-(

Back downstairs, we headed to the master suite, and what a sweet suite it is!!! Its over 3,000sqft!!!!!!!! The first thing you notice is the amazing foyer that greets you, I remembered this from cribs, as on the right are the double doors that lead to the master, the left is a secret door that leads to his closet!

The closet is AMAZING!!! hands down best i've ever seen!!! it was HUGE! So much storage, and the hugest mirror! Its so big...it had its own phone!!!!

I also spotted another 'not so secret anymore' door, but I'm not sure where that lead, shall have to try find the cribs video!

I was shocked at how many clothes and shoes he had left! Some I recognized from his videos! I know a lot of it he probably got for free but there were some amazing labels and most looked unworn if at all!

We looked at his closet twice, just because it was so amazing!

Then we went into the bedroom, which has a greeting area first with a fire place and double doors to the pool area, and one of those cool fireplaces that looks through INTO the bathroom!!! Then you go down some steps into the actual room, and its huge, so much elaborate furniture, but it was all $500 plus, and I'm sure originally it was triple that but not really my price range!

Then my husband spotted a TV, it was a 36 inch, for only $100 and we needed one for our rental house so we bought that! Feels weird knowing we have Joey Fatone's bedroom tv set!!!

The master bath was equally amazing. It even had a barber shop style sink!!! Huge jacuzzi, TWO toilets, a steam room and a sauna!! You could fit 10 people in that shower!

We ventured outside and saw the outside grill area, which was again huge & ready for any parties! The back porch had lots of sun loungers and chairs.

The back garden was sectioned off so you couldn't go to the pool area but you could see it!

You could see the slide in the rocks, and the grotto which had privacy blinds down but I've seen it on cribs, its very Playboy Mansion esque!

You could see Lake Butler at the end and the boat dock. The grounds were so nicely kept! Felt like leaving one of our Lawnmen Landscape business cards somewhere so they would think of us if they changed.

After I bought the bits we wanted, we went over to the 6 car garage! There were no cars in it, but a lot of arcade games, and Easter decor, and general garage supplies. But it was cool seeing the revolving floor where he normally kept his Knight rider car!

There was some glass frosted doors that kept changing color that were blocked by a funky coach, but i managed to peak in and saw a Superman logo carpet!! I think it was possibly a gym as it had mirrored walls.

We did not see the Death Star replica or the Thundercats sword, i guess TMZ got to them first!

It was such a fun day to nosey at his home, and see how much of a collector he is! Im so glad I got to go even though I didn't buy much!

Star Wars weekend

Star Wars weekend is an annual event that celebrates the saga at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I had actually never been before despite being a pass-holder for the last 5 years! So I thought it was about time to go and see what it was all about!

The first thing we did when we got there was to go to Jabba's hut to collect our limited edition pass-holder lanyard. I didn't realize it would be located past The Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, but we found it eventually. It was actually quite cool as we got to see a side of the Tower Of Terror that we had not personally seen before.

Jabba's hut was a huge tent that contained lots of pins, artwork, collectibles and clothing, and of course the pass-holder lanyards :)

I also found the cuddly Ewoks but as I already have one of these I just took a picture of the mini Chewbacca who I thought was very cute! They also had these cool little trinket boxes with Darth Vader on one side and a Storm Trooper on the reverse!

We were then able to catch that nights performance of Hyperspace Hoopla, which was a mix of comedy and dancing that took place on a stage by the hat. Not being a huge fan of Star Wars I wasn't sure I would enjoy the show, but it turns out you didn't have to be, as it was amazing! It was so funny to watch and I loved the dance numbers, ESPECIALLY when i saw Ewoks come out to dance!

Darth Vader's rendition of Cee-Lo's "Forget You" was certainly one not to miss!

I loved the fireworks in-between sets too, yet never seemed able to quite capture them on my phone!

After the Hoopla (any chance I can get to use that word again!) we headed over to the newly renovated Star Tours ride, but as you can imagine, so did everyone else! So although the time still stated 20 minutes, I was pretty sure a line going right out the door was slightly longer, especially as so many Fast Pass holders were going in also. So we skipped it for now.

Although we weren't there very long, I really enjoyed it, and I'm so glad I now know what its all about and that you don't have to be a huge Star Wars fanatic to have a good time there!

Disney Royal Wedding!

I was so pleased when I found out that Disney were hosting a viewing party for the Royal Wedding, INSIDE the wedding pavilion at the Grand Floridian! I signed up on Twitter as I thought if I can't be home in the UK to watch it then what better place to watch a fairytale wedding come to life!

Coaches picked us up from the Grumpy and Dopey parking lots at the Magic Kingdom from 3:15 AM! Which I think were quite appropriately named considering the time, me and my friend weren't quite sure who was Grumpy and who was Dopey out of us both, maybe a mix of both! ;-)

When we had arrived at the Grand Floridian we saw they had a beautiful display of wedding dresses by different designers with certain princess's in mind. Behind each dress was the concept art for each gown, the pictures don't do them justice, they were stunning!

They also had Cinderella's Coach on display which was actually made by the same coach makers to the British Monarchy "Bennington Carriages".

We were able to help ourselves to quite a large spread of breakfast items before the ceremony began. This consisted of pastries, fruit, coffee, yogurt and my personal favourite, scones with clotted cream and jam! delicious!

Originally we were supposed to be watching the wedding on the beach...

...but as we were wandering around looking for a place to munch our breakfast we were approached by a couple of women working the event that asked if we would like to be inside the Pavilion instead. They mentioned that ABC news crew were going to be in there filming so they wanted some people who looked the part to be in there too, and as I had on a pink fluffy tiara, and England shirt and Union Jack colour beads I guess we stood out as 'looking the part' LOL. We were So thrilled! So they gave us some wristbands and sent us inside.

I had never been inside the Pavilion before, myself and my husband had considered it for our own wedding, but as we were still living in the UK at that time, it wouldn't have been do-able as we wanted our whole family and friends to be in attendance. But after seeing it, I cant say its not on the cards for a vowel renewal ;-)

The event went so well, I even got to see a couple of Twitter friends there which was so lovely to see them in the real world :) The entertainment before and during the ceremony was so much fun too! I embarrassed my friend as when they asked if there was anyone from the UK there I shot my hand up straight away thinking there would be loads of others too...but alas there was not! LOL So as the only two at that time we were then chosen to help sing the British National anthem, which would have been fine in a crowd, but with just 2 it was admittedly a little awkward LOL but still fun none the less.

Shortly after our 1 minute of fame singing, we were approached by the Disney PR team, as they wanted to interview us on camera after about our experience of the day there, as they needed footage for their website but also for their sister station in the UK, as they wanted some footage of how it was celebrated over here. Of course we agreed!

The ceremony was shown on a projection screen, and it was a lot of fun being with that crowd as everyone was really in to it, cheering and crying throughout, it was beautiful to see! After we were all lead out and saw the Fairy Godmother set off the fireworks above the Pavilion.

We managed to catch up to the Disney PR team and were interviewed on camera by Cinderella's carriage, my interview actually got featured on their website!!! See the link below, I am the one after the bride with the pink fluffy tiara on!

It was such a beautiful event, so well put together and I was so happy to be able to view the wedding in such a magical setting, its a day I will never forget! Thank you Disney!

Ellen Returns To Orlando!!!!

Sunday we got to go to The Ellen Show taping at City Walk Universal Orlando! The Ellen Show has been bringing her show to the theme park for the past 5 years, where she films 2 episodes. This year we were lucky enough to be able to get tickets to go and be in the audience for the show that will air Tuesday April 5th.

We were told to arrive no later than 9 am, and that seating is not based upon first come first serve, so we decided to get there for 8 am. I was immediately thankful that we had guaranteed tickets, as the line for stand by tickets was absolutely huge! It stretched all the way across the upstairs of City Walk!

Within about 10 minutes we were filed through metal detectors and all given a number on our tickets. They had set up The Groove club for us all to wait in, which was a lovely surprise as it meant we could sit down while we waited, out of the sun and with free soft drinks! We weren't expecting that at all, so we felt so relieved that we wouldn't be outside while we waited!

We were able to find some seats, and I loved that while I was sitting there I was able to spot some friends that I follow on Twitter but had yet to actually meet! So it was so nice to actual meet them in the real world after talking back and forth for so long! In fact as they had great seats I am using some of their pictures today, so thank you Omar Elkalyoubie and Brandon M for sharing them with me!

I also got to meet our local news anchor for WESH news Martha Sugalski, who again I had been tweeting with for a while yet not met in person before. I was pleased to see she was just as lovely as she is on TV, and was kind enough to pose for a photo with me before the show!

The staff were very good and kept us all entertained with music and some very funny dance offs! I especially loved the woman who got down and did the worm on the dance floor for us! LOL!

After a few hours it was time, our numbers were called to then go outside and get in the line to be seated. Once we reached the set there were people directing where we would be sat, I'm not sure what method they were using but it became very frustrating as we were moved twice. We were told that there were to be strictly no men on the aisle seats, ladies only on the ends. Which we thought was odd but still complied. However we were moved once again, this time to about 6 rows back! This was very frustrating as we felt we had really good seats in the middle, to then be moved toward seats on the back and to the side! We noticed a lot of people were being told to move after being seated, but no reasons were given, it seemed a bit like organized chaos!

That being said, once everyone was seated it got a LOT better! There was a guy entertaining us with music, and getting members of the audience to come down to the stage to dance. He was giving out T Shirts and generally getting us all excited and ready for Ellen!

The show ran amazingly smooth, I wasn't expecting it to be that way! I expected re shoots and multiple takes, but the show ran all the way through just like it does when you are watching it on TV! The guest that day was LL Cool J, and he even partook in the challenge Ellen did that day for 2 contestants called City Walk The Plank! I don't want to give away all the details, otherwise it will spoil the show when you see it!

The musical guests were Duran Duran, their performance was filmed on a different stage to the one we were seated by, but they showed us the performance on the TV screens for us so we could watch it live also.

Later that day she filmed the second show to be aired Wednesday April 6th. The guests for that show were Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family and a performance from Kelly Clarkson! We could have stuck around to see Kelly perform but we were just so tired we decided to head to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch instead! ( Below see pictures from Brandon and Omar who stuck around for the next show).

Overall I was very impressed in how organized the show was and how much they catered to us, including free water bottles through out the show! The seating didn't seem very fair, but I'm sure that depends on where you sat and who sat you there. I know some of my Twitter friends were lucky enough to be seated at the front and got to touch LL Cool J and Ellen's hands as they walked by! Very cool! I would certainly apply for tickets again next year without a doubt!

Fun Spot Commercial!

The Fun Spot commercial me and my friend are in has been released!!! You can't really spot us lol as the camera is from a height but alas, we are in it!! We had so much fun doing it, learning the routine, and seeing first hand how commercials are made. The organizers were very friendly and even compensated us for our time after with vouchers to come back to one of their parks. I haven't been able to use mine yet but i fully intend to go back and take full advantage :)

Animal Kingdom Passholder Event

This week we were lucky enough to get tickets to go to our first ever annual passholder event at Disney! This time it was at Animal Kingdom and it was to celebrate the 5th birthday of the Expedition Everest ride! Our passes are only weekday, so I called ahead and they said this was fine as they were giving out wristbands anyway. But when we got to the gate, the cast member at the turnstile wouldn't let us in, so that was a bit frustrating as obviously no one had informed her about the event. So we had to go to guest services and he let us in via their side entrance and said he would make sure the staff were told as they were not meant to be sending us away!

As soon as we got in we saw a truck pull up with Minnie Moue, Goofy and Donald Duck on, they were saying bye to the guests. So as I had never seen that before myself, I had to take a picture!

We were given a flyer on what was going to be open that night as most of the park was still closing at 6 PM. So we headed straight to Expedition Everest! We were just trying to decide whether or not to queue up in the 20 minute wait time, when suddenly we spotted Mickey and Goofy dressed up as explorers! It was lucky that we saw them as we were able to be toward the front of the line, which by the time we had met them, was about 50 people long! It was great though as the cast member that took the photo for us told us to smush together to fit in, so we got really squished by them both, hence why the picture is a little blurry! LOL

After we met them, the line for Everest had gone down a little so we quickly lined up, as its quite rare to do the ride at night as its normally closed before sunset!

Most of the park was closed at this point, but there were some DJ booths giving out pins and encouraging people to dance....Simon wasn't so keen for some reason ;-) So we ended up heading to Dinosaur to ride that. I always seem to forget how violent it is, I regretted going on shortly after! But it is a great ride!

This was the end of our visit for tonight, as there wasn't much more to do and we wanted to catch the last tram back to the car! But we did enjoy our first passholder event, and I am already looking forward to the next one!

Movie Extras!!!!!!

Last week myself, my husband, Natasha and Tyler decided to apply to be extras for the movie currently being filmed in Orlando. The movie will be called Renee, and features Chad Michael Murray, Kat Dennings, Rupert Friend, and Corbin Bleu, among others! They wanted extras to be in their concert scenes.

We had to get there for 6 p.m. to sign in, and were given orange wrist bands. There was a ton of waiting around but this paid off as at one point one of the directors approached our small group and asked if we would be willing to be stunt people! Of course we said yes! Along with about 7 other reeeeeeally tall guys, we were asked to be the assigned audience members that would hep Kat Dennings safely crowd surf. We practiced a few times on the director until she was happy we would be okay.

When it was time for the scene our small group was personally led into the already formed audience in front of the stage. The best bit was where the whole audience had to part in the middle to allow us to walk all the way up to the front! It was a really cool feeling....like when you're at Disney World walking down Main Street RIGHT before the parade starts and you feel like dancing and pretending you're part of it! No? just me? ok well anyway!

We could hear people asking "well why are THEY so special?" and another women saying "ohhh yes I bet they are from an agency!!" LOL was so funny!

From this point there was a lot of waiting, and practicing with the director doing the crowd surfing scenes! We were all told how important it was NOT to look at the camera, and just dance and have fun! They taped us all dancing to the band Paper Route, then it was time to bring the actors out!! Me and Natasha could hardly see anything due to the assigned tall guys in front of us LOL! But we caught glimpses of Chad, and took some very questionable blurry pictures! He's doing a peace sign and looking back in the first picture, this may help you find him! LOL

Then came our crowd surf scene! Kat was to be carried over and placed down just behind us. Was great seeing her so up close, she seemed really lovely. She thanked us and asked if she squished anybody on the way lol! I caught her checking out my Hello Kitty bag, but before i could pluck up the courage to say anything the next scene was ready. We must have carried her over about 7 times in total, so I'm really hoping we are in the film!

We were able to stay where we were while they filmed the 'bad guy' looking for her amongst the crowd, and also while they did some close up crowd shots. Although, I wasn't very happy when the camera guy actually leant his camera ON my head to keep it steady....hadn't he ever heard of a tripod?! thanks LOL!

In total we were there for around 8 hours! Our feet were killing, but both Natasha and I won prizes, so that made up for it! We also spotted Corbin Bleu taking photos with fans nearby, we were too exhausted to get up so I just took some photos from afar.

I definitely enjoyed our evening being movie extras, as its something I had never done before, lets just hope they didn't cut those scenes!!! ;-)

Fun Spot Commercial!

Yesterday me and Natasha attending the taping for the new Fun Spot commercial, the one I had previously mentioned in this blog (scroll down a few lol). We were both really excited for it...until the morning of the shoot, when we both got really really nervous! What would it be like, will we be able to do the moves, are we wearing the right thing, what are you eating for breakfast?! You know, normal regular worries!

We felt better when we got there and saw there were another 30 or so people that had turned up, all different ages, and all wearing different colours etc, so we could pretty much blend in.

The first part of the morning consisted of us all learning the dance moves, which were apparently 'simplified' from what they were originally going to have us learn, and only the 'actual' dancers would be doing the more complicated moves. Which was fine with us as we were nervous enough anyway!

After learning the moves indoors we were all lead to the filming area outside which was in the middle of the park right by the ferris wheel. Unfortunately this was where they randomly split everyone up and placed us where they wanted us, so, horrified, Natasha and I had to do the routine separated! Which I guess for them it was for the best as we may have just giggled our way through it otherwise! I won't say what the new song is for the commercial, but lets just say after hearing the same sound bite over and over for a few hours...it has not left my head yet!! Its so catchy as you would expect :)

They took quite a few shots of us all doing the routine and thank fully neither I nor Natasha were told to sit out on the bleachers, which was where they were sending people they didn't think could manage the routine.....big relief! LOL! We then went back inside to record some audio and get some AC relief!

The last part of the day was filming in front of the entrance on the main road. The dancers were doing the routine in the middle and we had to stand to the sides and have fun...kind of dreading what that bit will look like as we were right at the front for it, but luckily we were next to each other this time!

We really enjoyed the whole experience, as neither of us had ever done anything like this before! Plus the organisers were very good as they provided drinks along with pizza and hot dogs, so we were well looked after. At the end of shoot they upgraded our $20 gift cards to $55 gift cards!!!! So as you can imagine I shall be returning soon to take full advantage of it...I hope they have a Skeeball machine in the arcade!!

Pitbull at Universal Mardi Gras!

So we went to see Pitbull at Universal Studios Mardi Gras last night. It was so extremely busy, and it didn't help that as we were trying to walk to the concert area, the parade has JUST started! So this meant battling through the crowds lining the streets AND dodging flying beads, LOL, which was quite fun actually!

We couldn't quite get to the stage area due to the crowds, so we snuck through the Jimmy Neutron gift shop and found an exit door that led us to half way up the concert area! We were on a raised sidewalk area so decided to stay there, even though it was to the side. Was a great view except the huge palm trees they have kind of block the T.V screen, grrr!

Anyway he came on bang on time (Unlike when MC Hammer came last year and made us all wait ages AND was rubbish!!). His show is so energetic, I didn't expect it to be! He sure likes to thrust, a LOT! Really did make me want to re-learn Spanish though as he spoke it for most of the time in between songs, so I could only pick up the odd word in-between screams! :-)

We didn't stay for the whole show, as we always sneak off a little earlier to avoid delays in the parking garage. But from what I read on Twitter, it was a nightmare getting out, so good choice on our part!

Movie filming in Orlando!!!

Renee
Renee is an independently produced feature film that has already begun shooting right here in Orlando! The movie is inspired by a true story about an Orlando teen who battles addiction, depression and self- injury, the film will show her road to recovery.

Kat Dennings plays Renee and Chad Michael Murray ("One Tree Hill") plays Jamie Tworkowski, who wrote a true story about Renee during her 5- days sobering up. Tworkowski posted the story on Myspace and it had such an overwhelming response from teens going through, or someone close to them going through a similar situation that he created a non-profit group called "To Write Love On Her Arms".

Since 2006, the TWLOHA team has responded to thousands of e-mails from over one hundred countries asking for help, as well as donating almost $1,000,000 for treatment and recovery.

Singer and rapper Travie McCoy not only sings in the movie but will be in it also.

The film is being shot in various locations in Orlando and Valencia Community College, The Dave School, and Full Sail University are participating in the production.

Filming began Feb. 23 and will wrap on March 29, 2011.

Fun Spot Commercial!

Ok so if you live in the Central Florida area then you have heard about Fun Spot, and seen their commercials on TV! The ad's catch your attention with their cute jingles and the fun dancing! "Fun spot days are here again HEY!" So I recently heard they are advertising for people to come along to their International Drive location and be in their next commercial!

Taping is from 9-am till noon this Monday 28th February, each participant will receive a $20 gift card to one of their amusement parks! All you need to be able to do is walk down a street and do basic movements! So I'm thinking I might go and try it out, anyone else thinking the same thing?! I've never been in a commercial before so it might be fun! I'll let you know if I can successfully persuade someone to come with me! LOL

Ellen is coming back to Universal Orlando!

I am so so excited as yesterday I got the call that we had been selected to get tickets for when Ellen comes back to tape her show here at Universal City Walk Orlando!! I had registered for tickets as SOON as they would let me on the website, but I never dreamt I would get them!! I was lucky to get them back in 2007 but I had already planned a trip back to the UK which ran through those dates, and wasn't able to change them, it was so upsetting! Even more so when I found out Jennifer Lopez was the guest that year! Ugh!

So I really really wanted them this year, I'm shocked I got them this time! She will tape two shows on Sunday, April 3 which will air April 5 and 6. Guests have not been announced as of yet, but I will be checking as often as I can to see who it may be!

I just hope they allow cameras....and food! The caller told me we have to be there by 9-am, despite the taping starting at 12, so I hope they allow snacks and drinks too. I am now counting down the days to it!!! :-)
