Domain Registration

I started using NameCheap.com to manage domain registration.

After GoDaddy supported SOPA act, I moved most of my active domain to NameCheap.com

With Express Checkout option Name Cheap make is easy to register the domain name. I don’t have to go through cluttered page at Go Daddy anymore.

Unsubscribe Inactive Leads

I started working on this approach, eventhough numbers of subscribers  count in Feedburner will drop. Which is not a good sign for a healthy blog. But, I had to make a compramise.

My list is about 18 months old. So, I created a segment for Inactive Leads and sent them an email with subject

[Urgent] Your Response Required

Total number of Inctive readers was about 20% of the total list size. I waited for 1 week and resent the same email with modified Subject

[Final Notice] Response Required

Waited for 1 week and less than 1% of the leads changed to active. So, I deleted about 19% of my leads.

This seems to be good idea initially until I started working on the numbers. My list was growing about 15% every month, so deleting the inactive leads will be nullified in less than 40 days time. So, this strategy was not working.
