It is said to be on an “unstoppable mission to destroy and dominate”. I completely agree as I test drive the Razer Lycosa.

The keyboard designed for gamers features backlight illumination, touch panel media keys, rubber non-slip finish on the keys and a chic appearance. Each of these contribute to an awesome keyboard experience great not only for gaming but also for everyday use of the computer.

The backlight illuminations tend to be quite good though dim in normal setting. Fortunately I know my way around a keyboard or I would find this utterly frustrating. Aesthetically though, the backlight illumination is quite fitting. It’s sleek and quite cool and works well with the black rubber keys. It also features a WASD cluster mode which brightens up the WASD keys nice and bright and turning all of the keys off.

The rubber non-slip keys are quite nice to touch. They feel nice on the fingers but are still light like laptop keys. This feeling allows you to glide around the keyboard with ease and enjoy it too.

The slurpees were bought. The pizza was ordered. The pringles were half-eaten. And then, I had a bobble head and lunch box waved in my face. Yes, you would be right in guessing that I just sat down with Fallout 3 and I am thoroughly impressed.
