Alright, as we know, the formula of pressure is Pressure = Force /area. = P=F/A

Our class had carried out this experiment with Mr Albert and our clever practical teacher Puan Zalikha. Watch the video below and it may burst you off into laughter haha.

Conclusion: The shoe with high heels made syafiqah's feet feel alittle discomfort whereas, her school shoes suits her well. From this, we can conclude that the smaller the area when force is constant, the larger the pressure. Or, The larger the area when force is constant, the lesser the pressure.

Alright, my topic for this post is Biology then, I want to share this especially among our form 3 friends. I hope, through these, you guys can really score this chapter. This is a simple example though.

(Take a look from the flower above. This is the original picture for my explanation. Click on it if it is too small for you.)

(then, take a look at this. Labeled part A and part B.

Alright, basically, you guys may know what i am about to share is Pollination. Credits to our Perfect Science teacher, Madam Ros for her knowledge. It was wonderful learning science.

Alright. Part A.

Part A is the Female part of the flower, known as pistil.

See the red circle. That is the pistil for the plant. You see 3 small 'pearls' on a style. They are called the stigma. Down the stigma, is the style and the ovary. Inside the ovary is the ovule, the small gametes to produce new seeds.

The pollen will travel through wind, insect, or water to reach the stigma, then slowly it enters the style den into the ovary. The fun fact here is that the pollen will enter from the bottom of the ovary which means, it travel the ovary from the side and finally enters from the bottom and the ovules are fertilized.

OK, Part B, the male part of the flower. Known as Stamen. The stamen consist of 2 parts which is known as Antlers and Filament. As you can see the picture, the yellow part of the flower is mainly the pollen. The pollen is held on the Antler. Well, for the male part, it is easy though.

There are 2 kinds of pollination, Self pollination and cross pollination. Cross pollination can result in variation of colours of plants. Take a look at the picture below. There many colour of the same species of plant.

Take a close look. There are variation of colours of the 'cap' of the flower, some in ligh blue and some in dark blue.

Some of them are even in purple colour. This is proven that this plant had undergo cross pollination. Interesting huh?

The study of Biology and Science greatly contribute to our daily life.

(Instant ice when it gains heat)

From my understandings, it may gain too much heat until it was crystallized. As it was inside the plastic container and then you can see the heat flow from throughout the liquid. Amazing huh?

Do not try this at home. haha

Dish soap is placed in large flask with 20 mL of 30% hydrogen peroxide. Two different colours of food colouring are dribbled down the neck of the flask. Add 5 g KI powder and step back. The exothermic reaction produces heat and oxygen gas and a lot of foam. Plunge a glowing splint into the foam. The pure oxygen will cause it to relight until it gets too wet.
This activity is excellent for discussions about catalysts, exothermic reactions and decomposition reactions.
2H2O2 = 2H20 + O2.

We often hear our teacher says " Never add water to acid, instead, add acid to water if you want to dilute it. We are told that it will explode because of exothermic reaction. Exothermic means the substance gains heat and the heat is gained very quickly and hot. The test tube or beaker will explode because there is sudden expansion which glass can not resist. Have a look on the video below. This is an experiment carried out to prove exothermic reaction.

(Adding acid into potasium permanganate)

It caused it to gain heat and then caught flame. Imagine how fast it gain heat until flame is produced.

Next, never ever try this at home or you may cost you your house haha.

Physics time ! We have to launched a rocket ! For each group . And this were captured while waiting their turn to flew the rocket .

Sweet ha ? Actually ,they were acting . This time , each group have to act . But , some of the group didn't manage to act because we didn't have much time :( But its really entertaining !

And this picture were captured while they were doing experiment . This experiment is full of excitement ! We can cut the frog and explored their 'ingredient' inside . haha ;D

Well , nothing can tear us apart . We can be enemy or best friend ..and we choose to be best friend . Because , nothing we can do if we had an enemy ,and a lot of things we can explored together if we had a bestfriend :)

1 JULY 2010-Baru-baru ini, sempena hari matematik, sains dan vokasional, sekolah kami telah menganjurkan pertandingan Kuiz Matematik, iaitu "Are You Smarter Than A Form 1 Student?" Peserta pertandingan ini merangkumi pelajar dari tingkatan 2 hingga 5 dan dipertandingkan di bilik tayang sekolah. Pertandingan ini bermula dengan pemilihan peserta secara rawak. Seterusnya peserta harus memilih seorang pembantu dari kalangan pelajar kelas 1 RK. Selepas itu, kuiz akan ditayang melalui power point. Peserta harus memilih satu topik daripada 8 topik matematik tingkatan 1 yang merangkumi whole numbers, number patterns and sequences, fractions, decimals, percentages, integers, algebraic expressions dan general knowledges.

Seterusnya peserta perlu memilih satu soalan daripada 10 soalan dalam satu topik. Peserta diberi 60 saat untuk menjawab soalan yang dipilih. Soalan ialah dalam bahasa inggeris. Jika peserta mempunyai masalah dengan soalan, peserta diberi tiga jenis bantuan daipada pembantunya iaitu dengan kaedah "peek", "copy", atau "save".

Jika pelajar berjaya jawab soalan pertama, peserta akan peroleh ganjaran pertama iaitu RM5. Peserta akan dapat RM5 untuk setiap soalan yang dijawab dengan betul. Wang maksima yang dapat diperolehi oleh setiap peserta ialah RM40 iaitu dengan menjawab 8 soalan dengan betul. Pada hari tersebut, ramai pelajar yang menyertai kuiz tersebut, tetapi bukan semua yang dapat bertanding kerana kekurangan masa. Daripada semua peserta, ramai yang mendapat wang, namun tiada pelajar yang berjaya sampai ke jumlah maksima. Wang ganjaran akan diberi pada perhimpunan yang akan datang. Di sini saya mengambil kesempatan untuk mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada pihak berkuasa dan rakan-rakan yang turut menyertai.TERIMA KASIH.

Chloroform been pour on the cotton wool and put into the container to kill the frog!

The dead frog is placed on the dissecting tray then its limb is pinned.

The vertical incision on the skin is make along the center of the frog by using scalpel.

The frog's skin been separate from the muscles by using scalpel then the flaps of skin is pinned on the dissecting tray.

The organs of the frog.

The student is trying to locate the lungs of the frog.

The frog's chest bones.

The backbones of the frog can be seen after the organs is removed. This also shows that frog is vertebrates.

Me and my family had been to AEON Jusco AU2, Ampang this morning.

We got up about 4.00am this morning and begin our journey from Ayer Keroh toll.

We arrived Jusco AU2 at 8.00am.

Since it was empty and nobody except the staffs were there,

i took the opportunity to take a few photos :D

The place was so clean and beautiful.

Everywhere you go, you'll see trees, plants and flowers.

The compound was large !

i was informed that this is the first and only eco-friendly Jusco shopping center

Jusco had launched a lot of eco activities throughout 2010, the world's environment day

they had this tree-planting program, where all staff and board of directors planted a plant.

Have you ever heard of "Kolam"?

Well, not Kolam (Pond) in Malay...

I meant Kolam கோலம் (Tamil)

If you're an Malaysian, i'm sure you are familiar with it.

Kolam is some sort of a "sand-painting", drawn using colored rice.

Mostly drawn by Women before festivals such as Deepavali (Light Festival).

Easy steps to make your own Kolam

1. Make sure you have colored rice or rice powder

(Above: Examples of 6 different packets of colorful rice for the Kolam)

2. Get a paper and a bottle of glue ready

(if you want to paste it onto a paper instead of the ground)

3. Draw your own design using a pencil either on a paper or the ground

(You may refer to this website to view several meaningful designs.)

4. If you want to glue it onto the paper, you may apply some glue on the paper.

5. Start to put the colored rice onto your drawings.

(Make sure it's the right color)

6. It's best if you start from the center.
