Her will and her resolve were completely drained from her body, as she found herself lying motionless on the cold, sterile tiles of the hospital floor; struggling, still struggling, with the unanswered questions of “how” and “why” this could have happened.

As she contemplated her own fate, a decision of two options raced through her mind: a decision to move on; and one not to.

The oldest of her siblings, it wasn’t out of duty that she cared for her mother during her final days, it was out of desire; the desire to nurture, comfort and cover.
