Autorun is very useful to speed up accessing the drive or the new device was inserted. For example in Flashdrive. In the flashdrive, we can create their own autorun.inf file, using notepad.

Commands that can be made at the autorun.inf file
1. icon = to change the icon of flashdrive.
2. label = to make a semi permanent name or label.
3. action = to display the application name that will appear on autoplay.
4. open = to run the application (if any action, the application will run when we chose our name entries in the action in autoplay).

UXTender - Changing The Visual Style

Bored with the visual style which included by default from microsoft? Actually you can add to the visual style folder to put them into windows / resources / themes /, but it was only for a visual style that you've got a signature by microsoft when the intenet is not most visual style that no signature by microsoft. Therefore, we need to do a patch on uxtheme.dll file that located in sistem32. To do this, we can use the software UXTender.

Step
1. Download UXTender
2. Careful in installing, follow the instructions correctly.
3. Once installed, have a visual style which can be downloaded from devianart.com
4. Put the visual style was in the folder windows / resources / themes /
5. In dekstop, right click --> properties. Select apearance tab and select the new visual style that you passed.

Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat release dated 10 October 2010. It was a perfect ten. Maverick Meerkat is a continuation of Lucid Lynx LTS Ubuntu.

Requirement

Ubuntu LiveUSB or LiveCD. You can download Ubuntu here
At least two Partition Harddrive, one for Windows and one for Ubuntu. If you only have one disk partition, you can use Gparted which is provided by the Ubuntu LiveCD LiveUSB or via System> Administration> Gparted
Install Windows first then Ubuntu

Here are the steps to install ubuntu inside Windows
1. Click Install Ubuntu

2. Tick ceckbox Install third-party software, so you can play mp3 files without download codec mp3 again after install.

3. Select Specify partitions manually (advanced). With this option you can set your hard drive partitions

4. Create one partition for Ubuntu and one for swap
Ubuntu partition
Type –> ext4, primary | Mount point –> / | Format –> checked
Swap partition
Type –> swap

5. Type the location where you are

6. Choose the type of keyboard you use, and then try to type in the text box.
7. Wait until finished, then restart and remove the Flashdrive or CD used to install

Plymouth Does Not Appear

Plymouth, on certain conditions does not appear. This happens because ubuntu has a little bug in your graphics card. This bug usually does not arise when we run ubuntu as a live CD or live USB. But when it was installed, this bug appeared. This bug is present in ubuntu 10:04. I think ubuntu will fix this bug on ubuntu 10:10. Apparently I thought wrong, this bug is still there.

There are some tricks to overcome this. What we need is a terminal.

Enter the following code in terminal

sudo su
echo FRAMEBUFFER=y > /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/splash
update-initramfs –u
exit

After that, restart your ubuntu. and see what happens. Plymouth will look like the following picture

If Plymouth is still not appear, it means this method does not apply to you.

Membuat Objek Transparant
Objek transparent dan glossy akan terlihat indah dan berkilau, membuat presentasi anda menjadi menarik. Berikut langkah-langkahnya :
1. Sediakan objek yang akan dijadikan transparent

· Pada Tab Insert , Klik Shapes
· Pilih Objek Rounded Rectangle, dan gambarkan pada halaman Presentasi.

2. Pada tab Format dari objek tersebut, pada Kelompok Shape Style, Pilih Shape Effect > Preset > Preset 8

Membuat Objek Reflection
Pada bagian ini, kita akan membuat efek pantulan bayangan dari objek. Hal ini sangatlah bagus, dan akan member efek Tiga dimensi. Berikut Langkah-langkahnya :
1. Sediakan objek yang akan diberi efek Reflection
Contoh:

2. Pada tab Format dari objek tersebut, pada Kelompok Shape Style, Pilih picture Effect > Reflection, Kemudian pilih tingkat intesitas reflection yang anda inginkan.

Membuat Hyperlink
Hyperlink sangat berguna untuk membuat navigasi di dalam presentasi kita. Sehingga Presentasi kita bias meloncat dari halaman slide, yang satu ke halaman slide yang lain, Bahkan slide yang berada di luar pada presentasi lain. Berikut adalah langkah-langkah membuat hyperlink, yang mana hanya saya sertakan yang paling banyak di pakai saja :
1. Blok teks atau klik objek yang ingin digunakan sebagai hyperlink
2. Di tab insert, dalam grup link, Klik Hyperlink

Membuat Presentasi dengan ScreenTip pada Hyperlink
Untuk membuat navigasi halaman pada Presentasi, kita sering membuat Hyperlink untuk menuju ke halaman yang dimaksud. Tapi karena sedikitnya ruang pada halaman powerpoint, kita tidak menyertakan deskripsi mengenai Hyperlink tersebut. Untuk mengatasinya kita bias membuat popup ScreenTip berisi deskripsi mengenai hyperlink tersebut. Selain berfungsi sebagai penjelas dari Hyperlink tersebut,Presentasi kita pun menjadi menarik olehnya . Deskripsi tersebut akan muncul ketika kita menyorotkan mouse ke hyperlink tersebut. Langkah-langkahnya bias dibilang mudah, tapi bagi orang awam, banyak yang tidak mengetahui Fitur ini.
Langkah-langkahnya adalah:
1. Klik objek A (atau objek apapun yang akan diberi hyperlink, yakni dapat berupa teks, gambar, ataupun lainnya). Pada tab insert ribbon Link, Klik hyperlink.

2. Tentukan Hyperlink kemana tujuan dari objek A jika di klik. Kemudian Klik Sreentip.
3. Ketikan screen tip pada kotak dialog "Set Hyperlink ScreenTip"

4. Klik Ok
Sekarang anda mendapatkan Presentasi dengan popup ScreenTip pada Objek Hyperlink anda. Langkah, lanhkah dia atas merupakan langkah dasar, anada dapat mengembangkannya sendiri, sesuai kreatifitas anda sendiri.

Dengan ini kita dapat membuat popup dari suatu objek jika kita mengklik objek yang lain dalam satu slide. Langkah-langkah untuk membuatnya adalah:
1. Sediakan objek yang akan di buat trigger, minimal adalah dua objek. Saya akan memisalkan objek tersebut dengan objek A dan objek B
2. Beri efek animation pada objek B yang akan bekerja ketika objek A di klik.

3. Klik panah kecil disamping efek pada docker custom animation, Klik Timing.

4. Pada tab Timing, Klik Trigger. Pilih start effect on click of
5. pilih oval 4:A (objek yang dijadikan pengacu,agar objek B muncul ketika objek pengacu di klik, yang dalam hal ini adalah objek A).

6. Agar objek B dapat hilang lagi saat objek A di klik untuk yang kedua kali, pada tab effect, pada After animation, pilih Hide on Next Click

7. Klik OK.
Langkah dia atas adalah langkah-langkah dasarnya. Anda dapat mengembangkannya sendiri sesuai kebutuhan. Dengan dasar membuat trigger di atas, anda dapat membuat serangkaian menu-menu di dalam presentasi, yang hanya akan muncul jika di perlukan saja.
Memunculkan tab Developer
Kamu dapat memunculkan tab "developer" atau menjalankan deloper mode untuk menulis macros, menjalankan macros yang anda punya, atau membuat aplikasi menggunakan microsoft office.
1. klik Microsoft Office Button. Kemudian Klik PowerPoint option.

2. klik Popular, dan kemudian pilih Show Developer tab in the Ribbon check box

Jika berhasil, maka akan muncul tab baru pada Office PowerPoint anda. Dengan fitur yang terdapat pada tab ini, anda dapat menambahkan file apapun yang didukung oleh system anda, misalnya adalah memasukkan Player berupa windows media player pada presentasi anda lengkap dengan tombol tombol yang ada pada windows media player.
Menambahkan Windows Media Player pada Presentasi
Anda dapat menambahkan aplikasi atau file apapun yang didukung oleh system anda, missal anda memiliki windows media player, maka anda dapat menambahkan windows media player ke dalam presentasi anda, begitu pula lainnya, jika anda mempunya adobe flash, maka anda dapat menambahkan konten flash pada presentasi anda. Dan masih banyak lagi. Untuk kali ini akan saya jelaskan bagaimana menambahkan windows media player pada presentasi anda. Kenapa saya memilih windows media player sebagai peraga dasar, karena aplikasi ini pasti ada dan terinstal pada computer anda. Beikut langkah-langkahnya:
1. Pada tab Developer, pada kelompok Controls, kemudian klik More Controls

2. Pada kotak dialog More Controls, pilih Windows Media Player. Klik OK

3. Gambarkan seberapa besar area dari Windows Media player pada halaman Presentasi

4. Screenshoot dari aplikasi Windows Media Player pun akan muncul seiringan dengan selesainya anda menentukan besarnya area dari aplikasi tersebut pada halaman presentasi anda.

5. Klik Kanan pada objek Windows Media Player dan pilih Properties

6. Isikan Url dari file yang akan dimainkan oleh windows media player tersebut.

7. Close jendela properties dan jalankan Presentasi, jika url yang anda masukkan benar, maka file tersebut akan dimainkan oleh windows Media Player jika anda menjalankan presentasi anda.

Hal yang perlu diingat
1. Jangan memindahkan letak dari file yang dijalankan oleh aplikasi, karena hal tersebut akan mengubah url pada bagian properties dari Aplikasi.
2. Format file pada url haruslah format yang didukung oleh aplikasi tersebut
3. Agar dapat dibawa ke mana-mana, saya sarankan untuk mempublishkan presentasi anda ke dalam CD, Dengan langkah:
· Klik Office Button, Kemudian Pilih Publish > Pakage For CD
Dengan cara diatas, maka url akan tetap. Untuk itu maka jalankan Presentasi dari dalam CD langsung agar anda tidak repot-repot menyusun ulang url dari file yang dijalankan aplikasi.
Semua hal diatas, hanyalah dasar-dasarnya. Dan yang saya bahas hanyalah sesuatu yang asing saja, sesuatu seperti memasukkan video, menggunakan Record Naration, menambahkan sound, tidak saya sertakan karena sudah sangat umum. Anda dapat mengembangkannya untuk membuat Presentasi yang Interaktif dan menyenangkan dengan bermodalkan dasar-dasar tersebut.

Microsoft memang kurang mendapat simpati pada belakangan ini. Diantaranya adalah larangan membundel browser IE dengan windows 7, padahal untuk OS – Os lain tak ada larangan untuk membundel browser mereka.
Dengan semua kondisi tersebut, saya menaruh empati pada Microsoft. Walau bagaimanapun, Microsoft telah melakukan perubahan besar pada dunia It dan memperkenalkan saya pada dunia computer. Masih ingatkah anda dengan MS DOS? Dunia menjadi antipati pada Microsoft mungkin karena konsumen sudah bosan dengan monopoli yang dilakukan Microsoft di masa lalu.
