My God...

2011-03-23T11:03:00.000-07:00

It's been days since I posted, but I hope you guys understand the ties that most people have in life. School, a job, and all that jazz.

Anyway it has been a while, but that doesn't mean I have lost any steam so far, just the will and time to be able to post as often as I used to.

Recently I've been trying to find out the name of this song that I heard on the radio, but I have no leads so far. I tried looking at the website of the radio station that played it, but I couldn't find anything, so I have much searching to do, but in that searching I have a new album that I'm going to buy soon, here is the one song I heard by Broken Bells:

I did some research and found out that Broken Bells is composed of James Mercer and Brian Burton who is also known as "Danger Mouse." The fact that Danger Mouse himself has worked with James Mercer to make this album is already making me excited. Danger Mouse has worked on other albums like Demon Days for the Gorillaz and obviously he worked with Cee-Lo Green to make Gnarls Barkley. All in all I'm extremely excited to get this album soon.

Also here's some funny stuff:

Happy St. Patricks Day.

2011-03-17T20:46:00.000-07:00

Or as I like to call it, Happy Irish Drinking Day.

Anyway it's just going to be a regular day for me, I don't drink but that doesn't mean that I can't enjoy myself with friends, so anyway here's some stuff for the day:

Body...aches...must...talk...like...this.

2011-03-16T11:40:00.000-07:00

So yesterday I went out and worked with my brother doing some hard labor and mainly this labor consists of moving around a bunch of stuff and rewrapping it so that this stuff could be shipped out and by the end of it all, my body feels likes it was hit by a bus, five times.

Anyway here's some funny stuff to kill the pain:

I bet you're hearing the scene in your head right now.

Anyway here's some funny stuff to kill the pain:

Happy Pi Day!

2011-03-14T12:29:00.000-07:00

Today is March 14th and that only means that it's Pi day. Sadly I won't be able to celebrate it properly considering I don't eat too many sweets, but I will still celebrate in spirits. Celebrate today well my friends.

Also obligatory picture:

For some reason this one always makes me laugh.

Relaxing Sunday

2011-03-13T20:08:00.000-07:00

Today there wasn't much for me to do except work, and now my girlfriend and I relaxing and watching reruns of Kitchen Nightmares on Hulu and boy do I love that show.

Anyway not much to report here today and so I leave you guys with this:

Man Faye.

Hilarity

2011-03-12T10:00:00.000-08:00

I came across this guy years ago and wanted to show you guys Pablo Francisco.

Like the Flash

2011-03-11T10:49:00.000-08:00

So not much to post today, but I have to do a take home test for one of my classes and I'm pretty nervous about it, but I'm just over thinking the whole thing.

Anyway I'm not sure if everyone has heard but recently an earthquake of magnitude 8.9 hit Japan and there is obviously the concern of a tsunami headed their way, but I guess that's the price when you live on a country that is over four plate boundaries.

So to leave depart from all this I leave you guys with this.

I'm excited

2011-03-09T12:06:00.000-08:00

I just feel great today, for the past few days I was feeling pretty melancholy but today is completely different. I just feel amazing like I can't be stopped. Anyway I wanted to just post a few things and then I will see you guys later.

First is this man:

With an amazing voice, he adheres to the radio image. Sound nothing like what you look.

Second:

Lastly is this movie, I've wanted to see it for awhile but the theaters here in Reno don't like to show good movies, but either way it looks really good and hopefully I get a chance to see it soon, oh and also get Black Swan when it comes out at the end of this month it's a damn good movie...with the obligatory lezzing out by the main actresses.

Everybody get in here!

2011-03-08T09:40:00.000-08:00

Now that everyone is in here, first off I want to say I'm sorry for not posting for the past few days things just got extremely busy and there was all sorts of stuff going on, but anyway I'm back.

Recently I got the album Volume Two by She & Him. Really all I have to say to this album is a resounding, wow. This is one of those albums that really make me feel something and rarely do I ever listen to any album like that. This album is one of those albums that could really fit all sorts of occasions. For those of you that don't know about She & Him then here's fact, Zooey Deschanel is a part of this duo. If you're still not sure who she is and you're wikipediaing her right now then I bet you're thinking, "Oh! that's the same girl from (500) Days of Summer!" Indeed she was.

So all this aside I suggest you at least give the album a listen and watch the movie as well, so I leave you guys with some more funny stuff:

Bolly

2011-03-04T01:49:00.000-08:00

So It's about 2 in the morning right now and I'm the only one awake here at home, but it's something I'm used to. I really need to buckle down and finish homework that I have, but procrastination always seems to get the better of me.

Any here's some more pokecomics:

You guys have a great day and once again thanks for looking at my blog.

Giggity

2011-03-03T13:21:00.000-08:00

Thursday is a day in which I have to do nothing, sort of. I have no classes or work usually so it's pretty nice to have a day like this, but I'm here at college library doing some homework mainly because I can't concentrate at home...at all.

Well I need to keep doing my homework and possibly eat some because I tend to skip breakfast most of the time.

Here's some pokecomics.

It's another day.

2011-03-02T21:47:00.000-08:00

It's raining today here in Reno and it's actually a nice change of pace, I've always liked the rain.

Anyway mostly just did school today and currently I'm relaxing, but one thing I want to share with you guys is Harvey Birdman Attorney At Law, which is probably my favorite show of all time. The humor is wacky and over the top and never stops.

Hilarity always will ensue and also,

Moose Knucks.

So not much to post today due to not much time here at school, but I might post something later in the day, but I leave you guys with this:

Also I know I've posted quite a few webcomics, but this next one I'm posting is something every person has to experience. Perry Bible Fellowship is possibly one of the funniest things I have ever read in my life. It's a very sick and twisted sense of humor, but we're all pretty sick and twisted so it would fit right into your life. Check it out and thank me later.

Nostalgia

2011-02-27T10:31:00.000-08:00

You ever get those days where you wake up and you just miss your childhood? I feel like that right now, I miss the old cartoons I used to watch all the games I played. For instance when I first started playing Pokemon Blue version there was a feeling that was indescribable, but I can never relive that feeling, it's gone now. I somewhat feel like the guy in this video:

Great song, but it depresses me when I watch it.

Anyway enough of the tragedy and melancholy, how about some comedy?

Have a good day guys.

Different friday.

2011-02-25T11:26:00.000-08:00

It's just another Friday here in Reno, except for the fact that it's snowing, again.

Not much else to report on...Oh yeah! I just remembered that I watched Atonement with a friend yesterday, really good movie. Made me shed manly tears it's definitely something to watch.

Anyway you guys have a good day and I'll leave all this right here.

This video is a bit old but I really find it hilarious.

Grapefruit is the Devil

2011-02-23T10:52:00.000-08:00

So this morning I had to go the library to go pick up a book, it's a kids book called Chowder which is actually a really good book. If you ever get the chance read it, it's by Peter Brown. Anyway when I come home I decide I need to eat considering I never ate breakfast. So I go to the fridge and I get the last yogurt, which was peach, a glass of orange juice, and premade sliced grapefruit. I eat the yogurt and drink some of my juice. Now in the past I ate grapefruit and wasn't too fond of it due to the bitterness of it, this premade stuff made the real fruit taste sweet. The fruit was beyond bitter, not even sugar could help this god-forsaken abomination of fruit, it was just awful, but i'm not one to waste food...so I ate it all with much disdain.

So that's my morning so far and I'm gonna head to class soon, so I leave you guys with these things and I hope you guys have a great day.

If you can understand this next picture then you are a nerd and aware of historical figures.

So let's see...

2011-02-22T10:18:00.000-08:00

Recently I watched (500) Days of Summer. Which was a fantastic movie. I originally bought it from target around Christmas time due to the fact that it was only three dollars, I couldn't pass that up. But it was only recently that I actually watched the damn thing and I'm glad I did.

The movie is funny, quirky, somber, and has an amazing soundtrack. I definitely recommend this movie if you haven't seen it.

Now I also have a few things to show you guys:

This is just plain adorable

These next three comics are amazing.

For some reason this one really makes me giggle.

Anyway off to do homework.

Hey guess what?

2011-02-20T11:28:00.000-08:00

I have a few things to show you guys from newgrounds, a lot of these though is a bit NSFW so be wary with these.

First is Egoraptor, if you haven't heard of him before or seen any of his work it's pretty damn good and hilarious, though some of it can drag on for a bit.

http://www.newgrounds.com/collection/awesome

Then we have the Street Fighter Collaboration, the last flash in this collection is the one you need to watch with either a bunch of friends with a good sense of humor or by yourself.

www.lifehacker.com/5516188

I found this guy one day and I instantly found him hilarious.

Lastly, what is one of my blog posts, without some sort of funny picture?

I think more relationships should be handled with mathematics as well.

Have a great day you guys.

It's been while...sort of.

2011-02-19T15:37:00.000-08:00

So I wasn't able to post anything yesterday due to chaos within school and social life so there was a lot to do.

Not much else to say, but I do leave you guys with this stuff:

First is this, which is hilarious:
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/562471

Next is these movies which is called asdf, if you haven't watched these before then you're in for a some damn good hilarity.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYnsfV5N2n8 Here's the first part when you go to it, watch the other two parts, you won't regret it.

and lastly adorableness to the nth degree:

A few things for today

2011-02-17T11:56:00.000-08:00

So after a month long process of dealing with iTunes I've finally got my ipod back to working order. Let me put some light on this subject though.

Originally I had an iPod that I had bought that obviously had all my music. There were some issues going on with my computer so I had to wipe the hard drive clean, but saving everything I needed on an external hard drive though. Realizing that my my library was no longer on my computer I didn't know how to get all my music back. After some digging around on the internet I found out that the ipod actually has internal folders that you can go through that carry certain files. I also found out that you can find the folder that holds all the music on the ipod and actually extract it. By doing this I was able to put that folder into itunes and my music was mine once again. It was about a month or so ago I was going through my desktop trying to figure out how free up some space on the internal hard drive and I came across a folder, it was 16GB and I thought, "Geez, this thing takes up a lot of space."

So I deleted it. It was so big my computer even told me, "This folder is too big to fit into the Recycle Bin. Did you just want to delete it?" So I did.

A few days after that I had just bought a new CD and I wanted to put it on my itunes. When I opened itunes, I saw a bunch of grey circles with exclamation marks in them. I wasn't foreign to what these were so I already knew what they meant. The file couldn't be found, and I thought for awhile about what could have happened...and then it dawned on me--the folder I deleted is the reason why my music is all gone.

The only things that remained in my library was music I had added after putting the folder in itunes. So I now had to go through and manually put every album back into my itunes. This was a good and bad thing at the same time. The good? I did have the music to actually put the music back without guessing what was on my ipod. The bad? I had to still search for everything to put on my ipod.

As I said before it was only recently that I finished, I had to put the music in itunes, get the artwork for the music I could find, and edit the information for the albums so the album itself doesn't reappear 80 fucking times because of an extra person for one song.

Either way though I'm glad it's all over, hopefully I don't have to deal with this again...hopefully.

So after this extremely long soliloquy, I also want to tell you guys about some other things.

First: Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is pretty badass. This will be something I will enjoy thoroughly .

Second: This is a serious matter

Thirdly: Math humor is great

Lastly: Nostaglia

It's a start.

2011-02-16T11:53:00.000-08:00

So today is the first day of my practicuum. I'm studying Elementary Education and today is my first day tutoring an elementary school kid and I'm pretty nervous about the whole thing, but then again I always over think things. Anyway just wanted to drop that off and these as well.

This dog always seems to make me laugh.

Publish Post

Glorious Day.

2011-02-15T01:50:00.000-08:00

So today is the day. No, it's not shaking off the feeling of eternal loneliness that surfaced due to Valentines day, it's the day that

MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3 COMES OUT :O

which is some of the best news for me considering I've been waiting for this game for so damn long. I've had the pleasure of playing the game at a Best Buy, I wasn't sure if it was a demo, but either way I'm already liking it. The controls are tight, Magneto is tamed for God's sake, and the roster looks great. At the moment I don't have a team put together, but that'll be something I'll make when I get the game.

Best part about this game is that the controls, and gameplay is based off of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, you know, that game nobody played for the Wii? Yeah, that one. So this game is already going to be familiar for me considering that the combo system follows so closely to TvC.

Though I want to leave you guys with a question, what genre of video games do you like and what are your favorite of that genre?

For me? I love fighting games, to death. To really narrow it down is difficult for me considering I love so many fighting games, I would have to say King of Fighters XI. That game just kicks a tremendous amount of ass, the only problem is I was probably the only person in Reno, Nevada to buy the damn game.

Another thing...

2011-02-14T11:45:00.000-08:00

I forgot tell everyone Happy Valentines Day, so when you spend it with someone you love, whether it be yourself, enjoy the day.

No matter how inappropriately you put it, it's the thought that counts.

Sounds like somebody has a case of the Mondays.

2011-02-14T08:39:00.000-08:00

So it's windy as hell in Reno, Nevada...for some weird reason. While yesterday it was really nice and sunny, today it's overcast with winds that could toss children around.

Anyway I have a few things I want to show you guys, first is Explosm, if you haven't heard of Cyanide and Happiness before then you are missing out on a lot of hilarity. If you have heard of them...good. Another thing I want to ask just a simple question though.

Where do you live? and what is one thing you like and dislike about it. For me, as I said before, I hate the weather, but I love the convenience of things being open 24 hours. So go ahead and leave a comment regarding the question.
