You know how since N*ggas In Paris came out, producers have been making electronic, dubstep-esque songs at 140bpm? Yeah, well you can trace that style directly to the UK, and it’s called Grime. The best part? The Brits have been making this kind of music for 9 YEARS. Don’t believe me? Here’s a cut from Dizzee Rascal‘s 2003 debut album Boy in Da Corner:

Right?! Trust me, I didn’t know a musical world existed outside of America, either. Needless to say, I’ve been scouring the Internet for the best Grime music, and I’ve compiled a pretty good collection. So over the next few days, I will slowly be introducing you all to the world of Grime. Make sure to comment and let me know what you think, I really honestly want to hear y’all opinion!
