Although its pretty much unidentifiable as a pack with there being such variety between the models, each one is as strong as the next despite the Desert Boot winning popularity by a landslide. You can take a look at our two favourite models below in the jointly produced lookbook that includes one of the best backdrops in the game. Step your backdrop game up, Bedwin got that serene shit for yo ass.
Echoing the aesthetics of previous releases of this nature the shoe features a relatively true to the original upper on top of the innovative Lunarlon cushioning. It's a curious outcome that fuses ACG, VTG and TZ but one that's sure to be a connoisseurs choice come the July 1 release date.
Although they've been one of the leaders in Japanese streetwear for over a decade, one of the things that's helped them achieve such crossover success is their continuing collaborations with Vans. Avid followers of the WTAPS Instagram page will note some of the elements they've been drip fed over te past few weeks but what's not instantly recognisable is the fact that they're actually made in the US. Usually WTAPS production is for the most part conducted in Japan so it's quite unusual thy they're adopted to keep things with Vans in the West. Anyway, these are due a release next season through premier accounts.
It's amazing when an athletes shoe efforts arguably overshadow their prestigious sporting accolades. Stan Smith is without doubt a household name but dare we say it...it must be the shoes. Although old dude killed it on the court, the shoe he lent his name to has continually smashed it year after year for years. After a little break the iconic silhouette is back and pencilled in for a summer 2014 re-issue in its original state. Consider this your early warning.
They're two makeups that pay respect to the shoe's original aesthetic and are a far cry from Missoni's efforts with the same silhouette. By staying true to the shoe's original design size? have created yet another release worth having, a credit to any collection. Priced at £60 with a release date set for this Friday.
We don't appreciate your uneducated traffic around these parts. Nah just kidding, we're interested to know what you think. Nike's Solarsoft technology already facilitates maximum comfort in every instance but when twinned with such a minimal upper the result is nothing short of marvellous. With these being an FCRB project the numbers are limited but nevertheless they drop through the usual accounts May 25.
Not only are these thinking man's Converse available exclusively in Japan but they're actually made there too, a simple fact but one that speaks volumes about their inevitably high quality. Quality that's up there with the recent 70s Chuck T's.
Utilising a single colour with the only jazz coming courtesy of a printed insole the teaming retains a sense of overriding simplicity, something we appreciate especially in today's overcrowded climate. With the last line in mind we're pleased to present a newly discovered brand here at 5th Street Bakery in the form of Fairchild Baldwin, a collaborative project between Jill Fairchild and Karen Baldwin. Both are seasoned and well respected within the industry and you can be confident that anything they lend their hands to is going to be up to the job. The New York based brand specialises in a comprehensive range of timeless baller bags utilising durable materials including Italian leather. Each silhouette is as appropriate as the next and all are pieces designed to transcend seasons to be called upon time after time. You can check out the brand's website here and read a little more about the guys behind the line in their about section.
We're focusing on the unstructured 6 panels but there is also two buckets available through the brand's website as of right now.
On this instance it's most definitely the latter. It's centred around one silhouette in three colourways, all available May 9th in the Western World with a Far Eastern rollout following 2 days later.
It's probably the shoes clean lines and unmistakeable profile that make it so geared toward customisation and we've seen a myriad of makeups since its inception. For spring & summer '13 the brand have teamed up with size? to create four premium looking editions with the season in mind. They take on a very minimalist aesthetic and kind of beat brands like Common Projects at their own game for a fraction of the price. Comparisons aside these are highly unique and a definite contender for the most wearable steppers of the season. Available May 10 priced at £55.
It's pretty much a massive steaming shit on both brands and one that'll be hard to wash off, particularly for Supreme who have long seen the artist as a source of inspiration. You can read the statement below and bring yourself up to speed somewhere else on the Internet.

"What a ridiculous clusterfuck of totally uncool jokers. I make my work about this kind of sadly foolish farce. I'm waiting for all of them to sue me for copyright infringement"
Always a store to go against the grain Triads have given us white golf tasselled brogue boots before now, but for spring & summer '13 a decidedly wearable set of elements has been applied throughout. The latest release sees three respectful re-workings of classic British models, each one as appealing as the last. Whether it's hard wearing suede or distressed leather, each of the models are built to outlast the wearer as well as being aesthetically pleasing in the process. All 3 silhouettes are now available to purchase at Triads, obvs.
