We are back at our cozy 8 Shenton Way Starbucks again this week. The biggest news this week in Singapore has to be Starhub going to sell iPhone. OK, maybe just for the Starhub users who wants to get iPhone but couldn’t find anyone to sign a Singtel contract for them. Google is moving rapidly towards world domination. This week, we saw Google buying over AdMob, Gizmo5 and coming out with their own programming language call Go. Creative ZiiLABS to launch a netbook which looks very exciting except it can’t run Windows 7. You can facebook from your Xbox360 soon. And Tech65 was hacked recently and HackerSpace is coming soon.

We have an exciting lineup this week. NTT skyped in from Sweden. We also have another Daniel joining us this week, which means we have 2 Daniel and 2 Justin. And of course we have DK and Nicole too. The stories this week aren’t as exciting as the lineup. We discuss about the Creative MediaBook, which nobody have seen the picture yet. Crunchpad, which none of us here have played with it. And Motorola DRIOD which we aren’t getting yet.

Doomsday is coming for all GPS makers as Google enter the GPS Navigation market. The crew discuss about Motorola Droid and how Verizon save Motorola. The much awaited Palm Pre is most likely not coming to Singapore any time soon. Santa is checking his Twitter list twice and HTC is now quietly brilliant.

M1 joins the “Telco selling iPhone” club while the guys in green are still nowhere to be seen. The crews talks about E-Books again although I think most of them aren’t avid readers. We also discuss about the latest “feature” on Snow Leopard which deletes all your user data when you use the guest login. There is a new Google wave invite scam that is going around and quite a number of Techie people fell for it.

And I would like to say again that Justin and Fari’s opinion does not represent Tech65. Neither does DK and Nicole. But if that it the case, then whose opinion does? Hmmmm……

Its a week full of Google and Microsoft news. DK managed to have a close up with the mysterious Google Trike that is making its round in Singapore. We talk about the Google Sidewiki and Google Wave which none of us have an invite yet. Microsoft is shipping free security software. Microsoft Vista and IE market share drop and perhaps Microsoft Fix it can do something about it. And to save us from the Google and Microsoft overload, Hisham shares with us his views on the Wacom Bamboo.
