Jessica Alba Flaunts Amazing Post-Baby Bod in Pink Bikini!

2012-07-15T11:26:00.002+06:00

Hot mama!

Jessica Alba just gave birth to daughter Haven four months ago, but her bikini body is already back in tip-top shape!

On Monday, the 30-year-old actress flaunted her trim, toned physique in a hot pink bikini in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

So how did Alba, who is also mom to 3-year-old Honor, get back in shape so quickly after her pregnancy? "I have 1,200 calorie meals delivered," she told Lucky magazine. "But I also work out, so basically I'm starving. It sucks. I drink a lot of water."

But Alba told Us Weekly she didn't go "too crazy" dropping her baby weight. "I didn't gain as much weight with my second pregnancy, so I think that really made a big difference," she said.

"I did prenatal yoga up until the very end," she added. "I just made healthier choices. I started working out and not going too crazy, but I did what was safe and what the doctor approved."

Comic-Con isn't just a daytime affair

2012-07-15T04:21:00.001+06:00

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Comic-Con isn't just a daytime affair.
After the convention center closes for the night, the streets of downtown San Diego come alive with parties galore — dozens of events over the four-day fan festival.
"The Con is for the fans," said comic artist Eric J as he navigated between party destinations. "For the professionals and exhibitors, it's also for networking and making contacts, and that happens at the parties. Even though everyone's having a great time, more business gets done after hours. And it's not just business. There are friendships made at the convention and at the parties that last a lifetime."
The festivities began on the eve of Comic-Con with Wednesday's gathering for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," which drew crowds to the Hard Rock Hotel's rooftop bar. The next night, it hosted a party for "The Expendables 2," where Arnold Schwarzenegger made an appearance, and Microsoft's Xbox 360 gathering, where guests previewed games like "Dance Central 3," ''Deadlight" and "Halo 4."

Happy 100th year to Woody Guthrie: Celebrate the Dust Bowl troubadour’s lasting legacy

2012-07-14T22:11:00.002+06:00

The red, white and blue Google Doodle on the Fourth of July didn’t honor a traditional America patriot.

Instead, the spontaneous change to the corporation’s logo symbolized a significant cultural treasure with Oklahoma roots. Only this American was blacklisted.

Who is this world-famous icon? It’s none other than Woody Guthrie, a native of Okemah in Okfuskee County. The Google logo incorporated the title of his famous folk anthem “This Land Is Your Land.”

Guthrie was born 100 years ago today in the Oklahoma hills. The seminal protest singer chronicled his life and times traveling westward with migrant workers.

Kate Upton in ad

2012-02-22T18:43:00.000+06:00

First things first: There is no Kate Upton Burger. At least, not yet.

But the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover model — who has been a social-media scorcher since the magazine made her its swimsuit cover girl last week — is the sexy babe du jour to star in a Carl's Jr./Hardee's commercial that launches regionally on Sunday. The 30-second ad features the model getting heated up gorging on the new jalapeño-laced Southwest Patty Melt while sitting in a convertible at a drive-in movie theater.

Behind the campaign is the same, teen-male-targeting fast-food chain that formerly flaunted Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian in ads — nanoseconds before each was at her pop-culture zenith. It's a tricky business snaring shooting stars before they've escalated out of reach — then placing them in sensual, burger-consuming situations. But it's an art that the burger chain has perfected.

"They get sexy stars on the cusp of being overexposed, which is hard to do," says Barbara Lippert, pop-culture guru at ad agency GSP. "I give them points for that."

At the same time, Lippert laments, "When you're constantly aiming at 14-year-old boys with stuff like this, you're not helping 14-year-old girls with their self images."

Andy Puzder, CEO of CKE Restaurants, parent to Hardee's and Carl's, says he isn't concerned with that. "The first thing you have to do is get people to watch your ads. I guarantee you there will be a very small number of young guys fast-forwarding through this ad." A longer, racier version will be posted on its website.

The ad was filmed in Los Angeles in January on a very cool evening, and Upton was supposed to look like she's hot. Between takes, the crew covered her with blankets and aimed a space heater at her. "It took a real acting job to look hot," says Brad Haley, CKE marketing chief, who was at the filming. "She was a trouper."

While there may be some customers who forget the burger's name, Puzder says he isn't concerned. "If someone walks into a restaurant and orders a 'Kate Upton Burger,' our cashiers will know what they mean."

Judge orders man to stay away from Selena Gomez

BURBANK, Calif. (AP) — A civil judge on Friday granted Selena Gomez a three-year restraining order against a man accused of threatening to kill the singer-actress and of traveling from Illinois to try to meet her.

Superior Court Judge William D. Stewart granted the order, which requires Thomas Brodnicki to stay away from the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star and not attempt to contact her.

Another judge dropped a felony stalking charge against the Brodnicki, 46, last year after determining prosecutors hadn't proven he had caused fear in the star. Stewart twice delayed issuing a civil order until Brodnicki had an opportunity to respond.

Gomez, 19, did not appear at Wednesday's hearing. She wrote in a declaration filed in October that she was in extreme fear after learning that Brodnicki had threatened to kill her while he was on a psychiatric hold.

Prosecutors later alleged he stalked the actress between July and October.

Stewart noted that Brodnicki filed a declaration in December essentially consenting to the protective order and that the man with a history of mental illness had received "due process." He said Gomez had reasonable cause to afraid of Brodnicki, who did not attend Friday's hearing.

The order also covers Gomez's family.

She may be a blogs fixture for her hair, clothes or figure, but "The Voice's" lone lady coach, Christina Aguilera, is totally comfortable in her own skin.

"I've been in this for a long time. I came out on the scene when I was 17 years old. 'You can never be too much of anything. You can never be too prefect, too thin, too curvy, too voluptuous,' this, that. I've been on all sides of the spectrum.. [Every] female in this business at one time or another has had criticism... and I'm always a risk taker too," Christina said on Friday during NBC's "The Voice" panel at the Television Critics Association Winter Session in Pasadena.

'Bachelor''s Amber T: Jenna Was A 'Hot Mess'

2012-01-06T21:32:00.003+06:00

America didn't get the chance to know "cow ball" queen Amber Tierney very well during her short tenure on The Bachelor, but ETonline spoke to the eliminated single lady about the waterworks that kicked off the season.

On the premiere episode on Monday, the biggest drama didn't even involve Ben Flajnik. Monica turned the faucet of Jenna's eyes on during an altercation and the tears kept flowing. "She was a little bit emotionally unstable. It's a really long night of shooting and everyone is tired. Emotions can be more exaggerated in that situation,"

Daniel Radcliffe: "I'm Not an Easy Person to Love"

2012-01-06T21:32:00.000+06:00

It isn't easy dating the man who played Harry Potter -- just ask Rosie Coker, Daniel Radcliffe's girlfriend of nearly two years.

"I'm not an easy person to love. There are lots of times when I'm a very good boyfriend, but there are times when I'm useless," Radcliffe, 22, tells Parade.

PHOTOS: See the Harry Potter cast, then and now

"I mean, I'm a mess around the house. I talk nonstop. I become obsessed with things -- fantasy football, most recently. And she listens to it, and she loves me for my oddness, my awkwardness, all of those things that I hate about myself."

That's good news for the Woman in Black actor, who says he "hated" the idea of dating around.

VIDEO: Daniel Radcliffe weeps over Harry Potter ending

"With Rosie, I didn't know what was appropriate, like on which date you're supposed to try and kiss her," he explains. "I went to kiss Rosie and at the last minute lost my nerve and ended up kissing her neck, which is a very intimate place to kiss somebody on the second date. Fortunately, she just found it really funny."

Radcliffe, who met Coker, a production assistant, on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, tells Parade "every day seems better" with her in it.

"Ultimately, I think it comes down to that -- having somebody in your life who makes you happier than you thought you could be."

Uma Thurman Jokes About Twilight, Raves About Bel Ami Costar Robert Pattinson

2012-01-06T21:31:00.002+06:00

It's safe to say Uma Thurman isn't exactly captain of Team Edward.

The 41-year-old actress plays Robert Pattinson's on-screen lover in Bel Ami, but that doesn't mean she's rushing to theaters to catch the newest Twilight film.

PHOTOS: The many sexy faces of RPattz

"To answer the ubiquitous question about this movie, yes, Robert is good-looking in person, but he doesn’t have that diamond-sparkle skin like in those Dracula movies," she tells Harper's Bazaar UK.

But even though Thurman isn't a Twi-hard, she can't say enough nice things about Pattinson, 25. "He's a very disciplined, very serious, very ambitious, very organized actor," she gushes.

"Jonah was in Hawaii over the holidays with the Hoffman clan," a source told the paper.

Back in October, Us Weekly broke news that Hill (who dropped 40 pounds for his role in 21 Jump Street) and longtime girlfriend Jordan Klein (a high school pal) called it quits.

PHOTOS: Who was Jonah Hill's celeb roomie?

"Jordan always seemed really happy and in love. I never heard a single complaint about their relationship," a source said. So the reason behind their split? "It was probably traveling. She would always go where he was. Now that she has a stable job, she can't just pick up and leave."
