This one is a lot more tranquil than the other two, as the story winds down and some of the other characters fade away for nwe reason or another , we are left with the aftermath and how to deal with each other and the mess that was made. They were all hand drawn and colored in Photoshop.

This is an illustration That I created as part of a group of three. The rest of the series is below. It is for a a fictional story broken into three chapters. The tumultuous waters and the fact that the boats are origami reflect the story told. Where these characters battle with unforeseen circumstances that rise like a freak storm to threaten their fragile existence.

This was a very enjoyable random image. I have had an underlying water/island/abandonment/ slashed trapped out at sea theme this last year or so that I keep coming back to. Its either circumstantial, trapped in yourself, or by your own doing I plan to do a concise series of these ink drawings over the coming months. This one was a pleasure because it was like something that needed to come out and I just let it grow on the page before me, this excitement never gets to be old. You never really know where these images come from, obviously they are not magic, but I am always surprised at what comes out. I hope you enjoy this one because I already have.

Was it days like these that made us old enough to dream? thought Raymond nibbling on a sizable triangle of cheese..
He sat still and devoured the silence that swallowed his thought...
Maybe Tomorrow will rise pregnant with the fruits of possibility?...He followed in a bold second thought...As silence grew stronger and deafened him, Raymond knew that as life seeped in through the pores of his being, he was dying. Surprised at his lack of fear he dared to ask why?.
Silence marched ever closer.

This is one of the other images from the group of short stories project that I just finished.I am also putting the link on here for any of the grown ups that want to check the stories out. They are not for the faint of heart.

There are complicated and deal with difficult character relationships, taboo subjects and are not for little eyes. They are great stories and should be checked out by one and all. I had the fortune of getting to spend some time with Mr Coles who is a fine gentleman with many previous years service as a surgeon before reuniting with his passion of writing gritty heart wrenching stories.

So Lately I have been working on some illustrations for 12 Short stories. I have not posted any until now as I am at this moment working on the last one, and I am coming to the end of a very enjoyable body of work. These images are all hand drawn and colored in Photoshop.
