1 - Newsletter

Send out a weekly newsletter with a brief tip. Let your members know you care. It has been Said they don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Use your newsletter to acknowledge and Praise key team members, Give tips and advice etc.

2 - Free Newsgroup

A newsgroup is a great way to promote team Work. It enables your Team members to help each other. A Newsgroup sets your team apart and makes it seem special.

Some Tips to Quick start your newsgroup:

Visit the Newsgroup often giving and requesting feedback. Make sure your team members know that you will visit the newsgroup on a regular basis. You might even want to post a schedule letting your team members know when you will visit the newsgroup. That way if your team members request feedback from you they will know when your next scheduled visit will be

Use your weekly newsletter from step 1 to promote your newsgroup and encourage your team members to take advantage of the newsgroup. Have a section of your newsletter devoted to your newsgroup.

Encourage your team members to start their own blogs and even offer to link to team member blogs.

5 - Conference Calls

Organize regular Conference Calls. Conference calls can be used as a recruiting tool. Conference calls can also be used as a way to motivate and help your team. You should have some members only conference calls weekly in addition to conference calls each weeks devoted to recruiting.

Well I am having problems again getting off the Mark. There are at least 3 types of activities that one can do for a Business.

Type 1 Produces No Income. Things like Book-keeping, Cleaning your office etc.

Type 2 Produces Income Somewhere down the Road - Creating Web Pages, Takeing classes,
List Building etc

Type 3 Produces Income now - Cold Calling, Newspaper Ads, Helping Teammates

I seem to be Great at Type 1 and Type 2 but Lately I don't want to do Type 3

Home Based Business Tip Work in Sessions

As a Successful Home Based Business Owner I work in Sessions. I try and work 10 - 15 Sessions a Week. I Define a Session as a 3-4 Hour Block of Time. 10 - 15 Sessions a Week would equate to 30 to 60 Hours per Week.

In addition to I have Session Types. Each Session Type plays an Important Role. The Admin Session I try and only work 2 or 3 of these a week. Sometimes I try to make these 1 or 2 Hour Mini Sessions. An Admin Session may include one or more of the Following Tasks going to the Bank, Writing a Web Site Article, Updating a Blog Submitting to a Safelist.

Team Building Sessions Make up 5 - 10 Sessions Per Week. These sessions are Just what they say adding members to my team or helping my current Team Member. I like to add 1 new Team member for Each Session I work. If I am Helping my team Members then they need to be adding Team Members.

Many people are afraid of Asking Because of fear of rejection. If you are afraid of rejection you need to change your Mindset. If you don't ask they already said No. If you don't ask you are Rejected by Default. The key is to ask. If you are already rejected then the worst that can happen is they confirm the Rejection. The Best that can happen is you get a Yes. Don't make 100 Calls you have been recjected 100 Times.
Make 100 Calls and you may get 100 Yes's. Don't aproach 10 People and you have already been rejected 10 Times. Approach 10 people if only 1 says yes wow then you have only been rejected 9 times. So if you are afraid of rejection by asking you are actually being rejected less

A Brief History Lesson. On September 23, 2001 I Join MPAM. On Oct 1, 2001 I started a Huge Recruiting Push. My Team Hit 100 Members in Nov 2001. I still rember goibg for surgery right before Thanksgiving 2001 and 3 Days later when I logged into my MPAM site my team had increased by over 30 members. Wow My team grew without me what a great feeling. I wasn't even close to being done. On Jan. 16 2002, My Birthday My team had grown to over 10,500 members. Today June 18, 2005 My team is 111,000 members.

You are probably how I did it. Well from Oct 1 2001 until Dec 31 2001 I went on a 90 Day Mad Man Cycle. I concentrated my efforts on MPAM. But I wasn't alone. I had some of my MPAM team Members working with me. At one Point My MPAM team had all 5 Top Spots and most of the Top 20 Spots. Including myself My team had 3 Different Members in MPAMS Top Spot. If you were a VP of Sales and I told you that if you hire 100 Sales people one of them will earn you $1,000,000 in the next 3 Years How fast would you hire 100 People.
