Two certifiable 9/11 Truthers from We Are Change, Los Angeles, abruptly abandoned their plans to ambush David Frum when Frum reminded them to increase their medications.

David Frum is a fellow at The American Enterprise Institute, has written five books, and writes a daily column for National Review. He is credited with coining the phrase, "Axis of Evil," first used by President George W. Bush in his State of The Union address in 2002 to describe Iraq, Iran, and North Korea.

David Frum was signing books at the Mark Taper Auditorium in Los Angeles on January 16 when confronted by the Truthers. We Are Change often uses borderline personalities to do unpleasant jobs.

Frum correctly assessed the situation, and when one Truther started to confront him, Frum responded, "You should take stronger medication."

Frum was using a psychological technique taught at Official NWO Training Camps (ONWOTC) nationwide to disarm the certifiable, paranoid, and politically unstable kooks that flock to fringe political movements like the 9/11 "Truth" Movement.

Once reminded to increase their medications, the two "We Are Change" certifiables erupted in anger as predicted.

"I know how to increase my meds!", one yelled.

Police escorted the hapless, mumbling Truthers out the door while a third who filmed the incident didn't get that their mission had backfired and posted the video to YouTube instead of destroying it.

New Scripps Howard News Service/Ohio University poll shows increase in belief in conspiracy theories caused by mainstream media.

(BNN - November 24, 2007 - New York City.)

A Scripps Howard News Service/Ohio University poll of 811 adult residents of the United States shows nearly two-thirds of Americans think it is possible that some federal officials had specific warnings of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on New York and Washington.

Eighty-seven percent of those who harbor such suspicions blame the mainstream media for "brainwashing" them into believing in various conspiracy theories.

The poll also found that 44% of Americans believe some in the government knew of the Kennedy assassination in advance; and 35% believe the government is hiding the existence of flying saucers from them.

An earlier poll showed that 71% of Americans believe television was their best source for news about the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Asked to comment on the poll, Dylan Avery said, "This poll confirms that the mainstream media has been brainwashing us to believe in 9/11 conspiracies, treating us all like 'sheeple.'"

"They said it was unfair to keep them waiting for the "truth" till Monday when their own doctors' offices re-open - whatever the hell that means. We filled their prescriptions just to get rid of them."

In his "New Rules" section Maher said:

New Rule: Crazy people who still think the government brought down the Twin Towers in a controlled explosion have to stop pretending that I'm the one that's being naïve. How big a lunatic do you have to be to watch two giant airliners packed with jet fuel slam into buildings on live TV igniting a massive inferno that burned for two hours and then think, "Well, if you believe that was the cause?" Stop asking me to raise this ridiculous topic on this show and start asking your doctor if Paxil is right for you.

Nico Haupt, spokesperson for the growing "no planer" faction of the 9/11 Truth Movement, said this was the sign he was waiting for. "Ve know dat drugs will show us die 9/11 truth. Ve just didn't know VICH drugs."

Several days after a new Zogby Poll showed only 4.6% of likely voters believe "9/11 was an inside job" (MIHOP), and Osama Bin Laden praised 19 Arab hijackers for the 9/11 attacks, "Loose Change" video creator, Dylan Avery, issued a statement announcing the recall of all T-shirts with the saying, "9/11 Was An Inside Job." Shortage prompts training courses from Steven Jones.

(BNN - June 17, 2007 - Salt Lake City, UT) - Steven Jones will soon address the continuing shortage of qualified peer reviewers plaguing the 9/11 Truth Movement with a series of two-day training courses in becoming a Certified Peer Reviewer.

"My inability to find a single qualified peer reviewer prevents the full acceptance of my scientific papers as proof that 9/11 was an inside job," Jones announced on Friday. "Everyone I have submitted my papers to claims to be too busy. The shortage is felt throughout the 9/11 Truth Movement."

Starting on July 1, applicants may submit an application to Jones for courses leading to certification as a Certified Peer Reviewer (CPR). Courses will start on on Sat., July 21, and will begin every Saturday thereafter through October. Cost of the course is $125 and limited to 100 participants per course. Prospective students must have at least a high school diploma but there are no other eligibility requirements.

An advertising and marketing campaign will start on June 18 in major markets.

Jones believes he will have enough peer reviews by December 1 to blunt all critiques of his papers. "No one will be able to dismiss my scientific analysis anymore on the basis of not being peer reviewed. There will be enough qualified peer reviews to fill a box car."

YouTube and blogs enhance self-importance of 9/11 Truthers - "ego inflation" behind instant expertise of 9/11 Truth Movement.

(BNN - June 11, 2007 - San Diego, CA) - 9/11 conspiracy theorists believe that worldwide praise of their efforts proves they do not suffer from Narcissistic Personality Disorder or "ego inflation problems." Such is the reaction of leaders of the 9/11 Truth Movement to a recent study identifying an increase in narcissism in the younger generation.

As first reported by the Screw Loose Change blog in March 2007, a new psychological study, Egos inflating over time," found that narcissism levels are significantly higher in recent generations." The study has spawned analysis of 9/11 conspiracy theorists, identifying narcissism as the prime motivating force behind efforts of young 9/11 Truthers to gain the attention they crave.

"It is important to note that those in the 9/11 Truth Movement need to stand out in the crowd, to exert their 'rightful importance' in the world," says BNN health consultant, Dr. James T. Howard, Jr.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is characterized "...first and foremost by a positive and inflated view of the self, especially on agentic traits (e.g., power, importance, physical attractiveness... is associated with social extroversion, although narcissists have relatively little interest in forming warm, emotionally intimate bonds with others... involves a wide range of self-regulation efforts aimed at enhancing the self. These efforts can range from attention-seeking... taking credit from others... and opportunities to achieve public glory. Narcissists also lash out in aggression when they are rejected or insulted."

The study, which showed that "30% more college students showed elevated narcissism in 2006 compared to 1982," includes several patterns of narcissistic behavior characteristic of 9/11 conspiracy theorists:

51% said that becoming famous was among their generation's important goals.
Websites such as MySpace and YouTube (whose slogan is "Broadcast yourself") permit self-promotion far beyond that allowed by traditional media.
An analysis of teenagers' MMPI responses showed that in the 1950s, only 12% agreed with the statement "I am an important person." By the late 1980s, 80% agreed.
From the 1960s to the 1990s, agreement with California Psychological Inventory items such as "I have often met people who were supposed to be experts who were no better than I...have increased."

Jim Fetzer Feels Cindy Sheehan's Pain

Jim Fetzer, once the darling of the 9/11 Truth Movement, saw it coming too. From his redoubt in Duluth, MN, Fetzer told reporters, "I feel Cindy's pain. I too was shunned, tossed aside by the 9/11 Truth Movement like so much raw pork."

Fetzer has been mercilessly attacked by 9/11 Truthers for looking at alternative theories about the 9/11 attacks. Fetzer is currently working with co-conspirator Dr. Judy Wood on the likelihood that the World Trade Center towers were destroyed by Star Wars Beam Weapons.

Ever since 9/11 Truther and jingoist Jon Gold attacked Fetzer as "a real porker", the attacks have increased.

Fetzer says that media whores Dylan Avery, Jason Bermas, and Korey Rowe are next to be discarded from the 9/11 Truth Movement like plucked chickens .

The Bilderberg Group is a secretive organization of the world's most influential political and business leaders, all accused of controlling the world behind the scenes. No reporters are allowed nor are any reports issued.

Alex Jones, noted promoter of 9/11 and other conspiracy theories, has followed the Bilderberg group for years. In 2006, Canadian authorities detained him for 15 hours at the Canadian border. Jones is noted for "bullhorning" Bilderberg meetings.

Asked why a reporter dedicated to exposing the group's conspiracy to dominate the world would be invited, Jones said, "I think they invited me to shut me up."

Steven Jones on WTC 7 Collapse: "We Really Screwed Up"

Admits WTC 7 collapse time was at least twice as long.

(BNN - May 19, 2007 - New York, NY) - In the first candid admission on record by a 9/11 Truth Movement leader of being wrong, Steven Jones (above, left) admitted today that he and other 9/11 researchers "screwed up on the collapse time of WTC 7. We blew it."

For years, Jones and others have claimed that WTC 7 collapsed in 6.5 seconds, nearly free fall speed.

Jones's admission comes on the heels of a debate on the Rob Bishop show last night when Jason Bermas (above, right), one of the amateur filmmakers responsible for the film, "Loose Change", became flustered when the question of the WTC 7 collapse time came up. Bermas was confronted with the CBS video of the collapse of WTC 7 clearly showing it took over 13 seconds to collapse from beginning to end.

"That is a fantasy! I've looked at all the videos. WTC 7 collpased in 6.5 seconds, period!", Jason declared in a nervous voice.

Pat Curley, who participated in the debate last night and co-wrote with James Bennett the debunking of the film, "Loose Change", demonstrated conclusively that WTC 7 collapsed in over 13 seconds.

"The CBS video clearly shows that the East Penthouse collapsed first, followed by the West Penthouse and the rest of the structure. Between the beginning of the East Penthouse collapse and the beginning of the structure collapse, 7 seconds went by. The structure collapse then took an additional 6 - 7 seconds," Pat explained.

Bermas, visibly shaken, responded by completely dismissing the video evidence.

Pat pointed out that the 9/11 Truth Movement has inexplicably argued against its own controlled demolition theory for years.

"The CBS video demonstrates that internal collapses were taking place in WTC 7 before the entire structure fell. The 9/11 Truth Movement could have argued that bombs were going off inside of WTC 7 to weaken the structure so structure collapse could take place, just like internal explosives are set off to cause a structure collapse in real controlled demolitions. Instead, they adamantly argue that no internal collapse took place before the building collapsed. Isn't that strange?"

Responding to the overnight controversy, Steven Jones announced this morning that WTC 7 did indeed take over 13 seconds to collapse.

"We screwed up. We had never seen the CBS video when we claimed that it took WTC 7 6.5 seconds to collapse. We only relied on the street video that does not show the Penthouses. By the time we saw the CBS video, we had so much invested in the 6.5-second collapse time, we could not disappoint our supporters who were successfully using the 6.5 free fall time to push 9/11 Truth. We just ignored the evidence.

Asked how his revelation would affect 9/11 Truth, Jones said it would enhance and strengthen it.

Jones said, "There is no question that bombs went off in WTC 7 to weaken the internal structure before the building came down. That is obvious from the video and why it took over 13 seconds for WTC 7 to collapse."

Psychologists To Study Growing Apantophobia Within 9/11 Truth Movement

(BNN - May 13, 2007 - Philadelphia, PA) - University of Pennsylvania psychology professor, Gerard Stilkins, is leading a group of university psychology professors in a six-month study of what he says is the "largest outbreak of apantophobia since the Middle Ages."

Apantophobia - the fear of answers - is largely unknown in educated populations but was common in history, most recently in Europe during the Bubonic Plague (Black Death) pandemic of 1347 - 1350.

Prof. Gerard Stilkins explained that apantophobia was common during the period of the Bubonic Plague when Church officials could not deliver on their promise to eliminate the disease and cure its victims.

"Strange religious sects appeared as the fearful looked for someone to blame for the pestilence, reflecting the lack of control one felt over one's own life. One sect, the Flagellants, pitifully flogged themselves in manic religious processions hoping to avoid any unpleasant answers as to the real cause of the plague. Research has since shown that Flagellants actually suffered from apantophobia."

Prof. Stilkins began to notice the signs of apantophobia in his students devoted to 9/11 Truth in late 2002. "These students were passionate in their cause, demanding answers to questions about the 9/11 attacks. I became curious when I noticed over the last several years that most of the questions had been answered reasonably and logically with specific evidence many times over. These students did not seem to notice and kept on asking the same questions over and over, blank stares on their faces. They had all of the characteristics of the Flagellants of the Middle Ages."

Apantophobia has many distinct characteristics, Prof. Stilkins explained.

The sufferer can be of any age, sex, or race, but is predominantly young, male, and insecure.

The sufferer needs a cause; the nature of the cause is irrelevant but must be large and impressive to the sufferer.

Questions related to the cause are all-important, revered in a religious-like manner.

The phobia is characterized by long time periods of obsessive question development to avoid thinking about answers.

Questions that are answered are nervously challenged with another question or ignored completely.

If the answer is ignored, the answer is the correct one.

If the answer is challenged with another question, the answer is the correct one.

In either case, the question is recycled for later use unless the question brings back unpleasant memories of the answer.

If questioned, the sufferer takes it as a personal affront, and replies with a question in a distinctive haughty tone.

Over the long term, the phobia leads to declining health and long periods of suffering in dark rooms or closets.

There is no known cure for apantophobia but Prof. Stilkins believes a strategy of repeated, controlled immersion in the correct answers might reduce the fear of answers within the 9/11 Truth Movement, much as putting people in rooms full of snakes or spiders eliminates those respective phobias.

"Mass manic apantophobia has not been seen in modern times and it is disturbing to see the 9/11 Truth Movement made up exclusively of apantophobics," Prof Stilkins says.

"We are hopeful that immersion in knowledge, reason, and truth will relieve, if not eliminate, their suffering."

9/11 Truther claims spray-on flame retardants were "not needed" - lawsuit planned.

(BNN - May 6, 2007 - New York City) - Another lawsuit may be added to the a number already filed by members of the 9/11 Truth Movement against government agencies and businesses.

J. "Spanky" Sparkette today accused the New York Port Authority of a kickback scheme during the original construction of the World Trade Center Towers. Sparkette is New York Divisional Vice President of Communications for the 9/11 Truth Movement.

According to Sparkette spray-on flame retardants were used to coat floor trusses and other exposed steel beams when "it is a well known fact that fire cannot melt nor soften steel."

The final NIST report on the collapse of the World Trade Center towers attributed the impact forces of the 767s knocking off the flame retardants from the floor trusses as a significant cause of the trusses' weakening from fire and the towers' eventual collapses. Asbestos was banned from use in flame retardants in 1971 when the towers were still under construction, having reached the 64th floor. Other materials were substituted for the remaining floors.

"Why do you think they banned asbestos? Clearly, the Port Authority of New York was profiting from this blatant abuse of the public trust," Sparkette claimed.

A spokesperson for the Port Authority of New York expressed disbelief. "You mean these kooks think flame retardents have no purpose?"

Fetzer had innocently posted links to his recent debates with seasoned rationalist and undefeated anti-conspiracist, Mark Roberts, on Hardfire. Roberts easily trounced Fetzer on the facts but Fetzer was undaunted because, he says, "I made dozens and dozens of points."

Jon Gold immediately attacked Fetzer. "Did you accept money from our enemies to show the world how fat, undisciplined, and snotty the 9/11 Truth Movement looks? If you weren't such a porker more people would accept us for what we are."

Tension within the 9/11 Truth Movement has been developing for months as its 9/11 conspiracy theories have not resonated with an intelligent public. Fetzer has been on the outs with a great majority of 9/11 Truthers, all of whom are much thinner than Fetzer. 9/11Blogger.com has seen a steady decline in traffic reach over the last three months possibly because of Gold's weight according to 911Blogger.com insiders who wish to remain anonymous.

Fetzer accused Gold, "You are like most of those who post here: willing to take cheap shots from the comfort of your homes but unwilling to put away the beer and cheeseburgers."

Jon Gold and 9/11Blogger.com recently came under harsh criticism for trying to talk 9/11 victims' families into joining the 9/11 Conspiracy Movement.

Nico Haupt, a trim and swank leader of the 9/11 Truth Movement who has long led the "NO EATER" faction, was circumspect.

"I've long pleaded that being fat will not get us to 9/11 Truth. Fetzer and Gold continue to be under that incredibly silly illusion that cheeseburgers and fries are thinning. There's no hope for them."

NIST issued a statement late Wednesday stating that "NIST has been careful to avoid any discrimatory factual language in its reports and no comment will be issued pending a detailed review of the language and meaning of the petition."

ICANN Recommends .911 Domain Suffix

"We believe the explosive growth in 911 conspiracy sites justifies this action," a press release said.

Nicholas Hauptmann, the lone dissenter, suspected government pressure to isolate 9/11 Truth groups. "The government wants to herd us all under the .911 domain. Then one day agents will just delete the .911 domain. We'll be finished."

A survey of national 9/11 Truth groups echoed Hauptmann's fears.

Comments on the JREF forum indicated True Skeptics' universal support for the ICANN recommendation.

"We're applying for our own domain," one commenter wrote. "We believe the most appropriate domain suffix for rational people against loony 9/11 conspiracy theories is '.NOT.'"

9/11 and Global Warming: the Chemtrail Link

(A BNN Exclusive – March 29 – Évian-les-Bains, FRANCE) – The calm waters of Lake Geneva and the crisp air hinting at the early warmth of spring belied the hurricane brewing at the 73rd Annual Conference of the Société de Climatologie Européen (Society of European Climatology.) Former university physics professor, Dr. Steven E. Jones, had just announced a link between the attacks of 9/11 and global climate warming.

Dr. Jones, retired professor of physics at Brigham Young University and leading proponent of the theory that elements of the United States government “pre-planted explosives” causing the 9/11 destruction of the World Trade Center towers, was a last-minute addition to this prestigious conference, having replaced the ailing Luigi Paolo Sebastiani, University of Florence professor of Paleo-climate studies.

BNN was unable to determine how Dr. Jones, unknown in the field of climatology, secured a position as a speaker and panelist.

Dr. Jones was forced to retire from Bingham Young University late in 2006 over his paper, “Why Indeed Did the World Trade Center Buildings Completely Collapse?”, claiming that the World Trade Center towers were deliberately brought down by explosive demolition using Thermate, an incendiary compound. "BYU remains concerned that Dr. Jones' work on this topic has not been published in appropriate scientific venues," the university said.

Dr. Jones is known principally for his work in solar funnel cooking, Evidence for Christ's Visit in Ancient America, and cold fusion.

Not content with his lack of recognition in these fields, Jones embarked on a “…personal mission to find 9/11 Truth.”

At the late Monday morning session, “Chemical Contributions to Abrupt Climate Change”, Dr. Jones claimed the U.S. government set up a program in the late 1970s to “…induce climate change by the systematic covert spraying of sulfur dioxide and other chemicals from high-flying military and commercial aircraft — the so-called ‘chemtrails.’”

While “chemtrail” conspiracy theories have flourished on the Internet for years, scientists, aircraft manufacturers, airlines, and the government have dismissed chemtrail conspiracies outright as paranoid pseudo-science. Dr. Jones, however, added a new wrinkle.

The morning of September 11, 2001 was unusually clear and calm over most of the eastern USA. There was not a chemtrail anywhere to be seen. Why?

My metallurgical studies of the steel from the towers showed there was a rather mysterious sulfidation of that steel. What is the origin of this sulfur? No solid answer is given in any of the official reports. Why?

Jones explained that he originally thought Thermate was responsible, the “smoking gun” for the presence of sulphur.

The evidence for the use of some variant of thermite such as sulfur-containing thermate in the destruction of the WTC Towers and building 7 is sufficiently compelling to warrant serious investigation.

But Jones found his Thermate theory gained no traction within the 9/11 Truth Community. Former partner and current nemesis, James Fetzer, attacked Jones in November 2006:

Moreover, thermate increasingly appears to be an inadequate cause of the devastation of the complete World Trade Center…. His evidence of the use of thermate also seems to be undermined by the discovery that thermate appears to have been used to bring down what little remained after the towers went "poof"! But if that is the case, then its presence is explainable on grounds other than its use to destroy the Twin Towers and it too, as a framework for explaining the evidence, goes "poof"!

Increasing isolated within the 9/11 Truth Community, Jones discarded the Thermate theory. Speaking to the annoyed and puzzled attendees at the climatology conference Jones revealed,

There were all these unanswered questions about the sulfur. I set out on a week-long “personal quest” in the Uinta Mountains for the answer. Why was there so much sulfur? On day three, the answer hit me – literally. I was bombarded with cool rain in a sudden mountain thunderstorm and while reveling in drinking the “holy water from the God of The Sky”, drinking and dancing, the answer came to me.

It was the unmistakable taste of sulfur in the rainwater – acid rain. The connection was complete. Sulfate aerosols are the secret ingredient of chemtrails, sprayed by the government to mix with rain to create sulfuric acid and scatter light to trap heat. The sulfuric acid relentlessly eats at everything, including the steel and aluminum which made up the World Trade Center towers.

There was no chemtrail spraying on the morning of 9/11 so that the so-called "hijackers" would have a clear view of New York City from a distance.

So chemtrails are part of the government plot to control the world through Global Warming and destroy American infrastructure from within. 9/11 was the government’s first successful test. It knew the towers were sufficiently weakened by acid rain to stage a successful false-flag operation. I have discovered the “Unifying Theory of 9/11.”

As Steven Jones crossed his arms, raised his head, and stood proudly looking at the audience with the extreme confidence Europeans were all too familiar with, the conference broke for lunch.

9/11 Truth Sites Censor Each Other's 9/11 Truth

(BNN - March 25, 2007 - Chicago) - In a trend that began in late 2006, 9/11 Truth groups increasingly have come to fisticuffs over what constitutes "9/11 Truth". Since the very public split of Prof. Steven Jones and James Fetzer over why indeed did the World Trade Center buildings completely collapse, charges of deliberate disinfo campaigns and censorship by 9/11 truth sites dominate Internet discussion groups.

Jones reported that, "...by the end of 2006, a groundswell of awareness of the problem of misinformation became evident -- the increaslingly [sic] blatent [sic] assertionions [sic] of transparently unscientific claims by some high-profile individuals within that community."

James Fetzer countered, "the exploration of alternatives involving mini-nukes, directed-energy weapons, or even HAARP is a subject that should be very familiar to a physicist who has conducted research on or at facilities devoted to these subjects."

Such high-profile attacks between members of the 9/11 Truth Community have caused the 9/11 conspiracy devotees' natural instinct of suspicion of conspiracies and disinformation campaigns to mushroom.

"We do not know what to believe or whom to trust in the 9/11 Truth Movement," exclaims Sara Marshall of 911Blogger.com, a 9/11 Truth site specializing in 'alternative' 9/11 news. 'Trust, but Verify' no longer works for us. Neither does 'Impossible, but Plausible.' ... . We're fighting with every other 9/11 Truth group trying to protect 9/11 Truth from their lies and disinformation... There are even factions within 911Blogger.com fighting each other."

911Booger.com (not to be confused with 911Blogger.com) has received numerous complaints from 911Blogger.com members concerning the deletion of a link to yesterday's 911Booger.com breaking news about Steven Jones's appearance at a French climatology conference.

"The Fetzer faction at 911Blogger.com is clearly controlling the site," one member wrote.

Dr. Thomas Lipton, professor of psychology at the University of Calgary and foremost expert on the psychology of conspiracy theorists says this is nothing unusual but is a normal stage of conspiracy theorizing.

"I liken it to an extended grieving process normal people go through after the loss of a cherished loved one -- only in reverse. A 9/11 conspiracy theorist goes through this process:

Acceptance - the initial satisfaction that the one true 9/11 Truth has been found.

Depression - the realization that one's 9/11 Truth is not accepted as the only 9/11 Truth. Why can't others see the one true 9/11 Truth?

Bargaining - the effort to get one's 9/11 Truth accepted as the one true 9/11 Truth through alliances and compacts.

Anger - the realization that there are many conspiracies against one's own 9/11 Truth by others proclaiming 9/11 Truth, actually all lies. Retaliation is the only option, if only others would cooperate.

Denial - the final stage. Retaliation has been foiled at every turn. No one is capable of understanding 9/11 Truth as it really is.

Dr Lipton says the 9/11 Truth Community is currently in the Anger stage. Outright warfare is likely to develop between 9/11 Truth factions in the near future before things settle down into inevitable Denial.

"The 9/11 Truth Community provides a tremendous laboratory for psychologists to study paranoia and denial in real time," Dr. Lipton says. "There is a clamor for more funding of 9/11 Denial studies in many universities while the phenomenon is still alive."

Steven Jones to Reveal New 9/11 "Inside Job" Theory

Jones's appearance at this prestigious conference has sparked controversy among participants. Joachim Wiedemann of Munich, Germany protested that Jones "...has no credentials as a climatologist. I have initiated a formal protest and have already 23 members to sign a petition demanding Jones be not allowed to address this conference."

Other participants dismiss the controversy. "Just because he is not an expert in climatology does not mean he does not have valid data," exclaimed Sylvie Bois from Reims, France. "Everyone's opinion should be respected."
