911 MOTORSPORT - ABBEVILLE TRACK DAY - PORSCHE 911R

This video was shot at our last 911Motorsport Track Day we organized on the Abbeville Race Track, the car is a genuine 1967 Porsche 911R and it's shot with a bumper mounted camera that was fitted to a 2.5L 911ST that was following the 911R at close range! 911Motorsport - PORSCHE 2.8L 911 RSR and 2.5L 911 ST - Abbeville April 2010

These two genuine Factory Lightweight Racing Porsches were part of the cars that were present at our Exclusive Trackday that we host twice a year in the North of France on the Abbeville Race Track.

Both of these Extremely Rare Racing 911s are serviced and prepared for Historic Motor Racing Events by our crew here at 911 Motorsport.

The 911RSR 2.8l is the ex Juan Bolanos car that participated in the 1000km ADAC race on the Nürburgring in 1973 and the 1972 2.5L 911ST is an ex German delivered car that was raced at various local races back in the days by Wilhelm Bartels.

911 Motorsport - 25th Anniversary SCRS Event - Abbeville September 2009

On the 23rd of September 2009 911 Motorsport hosted an exclusive commemoration day event. This was organised on the Abbeville Race Track in France to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Porsche 911 SCRS.

At our event we had 11 cars present, considering that only 21 were built at the factory this was without a doubt the largest gathering of SCRS Porsches ever since that day that all 21 were together at the factory in Stuttgart back in 1983! 8 cars were the real deal, one was the ex Touroul car, which was the last ever 911 to have participated in Le Mans in the GTO category and 2 others were Rothmans tribute cars.

Rothmans had sent out one car out of their museum accompanied by Nabil Karam and Nigel Riddle. Belgian Rally Racer Pascal Gaban and Le Mans Legend Gijs Van Lennep were present as well along with many others who either raced or worked on the SCRS back in the days, it was an amazing day in racing history and the cherry on top of the cake was when the SCRS 911s hit the track and we were all able to enjoy that sweet mechnical music that these great cars produce!
