Mega rare 1971 Japanese-only 8-track stereo LP on the Vertigo 'swirl' label, comes in a unique textured gatefold picture sleeve with integral 4-page booklet featuring a colour portrait of the band, Japanese text biography and lyrics, complete with the almost impossible to find Vertigo logo/'Do It Rock' series obi-strip. The sleeve shows only some light foxing on the inside and only light signs of shelfwear. The obi has faded alittle at the top otherwise intact with no rips, tears or creases. The vinyl has only a couple of very light hairline marks but is otherwise in an amazing condition with no spindle marks on the labels. An oustanding copy of this very sought after 40 year old pressing.

Mega Rare 1981 Japanese 3-track Discomate white title label promotional only 12". Housed in a unique picture sleeve featuring a reproduction of the top 60 chart taken from theweeklymagazine 'Billboard' from 2nd May 1981, highlighting the three Abba songs at Number 1. The sleeve on this copy has only a few storage marks mostly on the edges & corners, the vinyl is in a superb near mint condition with only a few very verylight surface marks - impossibly hard to find.

1972 UK 1st press pink-rim Island 'palm tree' label 10-track LP, textured gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics printed inside. The sleeve shows a fair degree of edge scuffing, common with this type of sleeve, so would be gradedVG+/EX-. The previous owner has written their name on the b-side label, otherwise only has a couple of spindle marks. The vinyl remains in EX-/EX with only a few light surface marks which do not affect play. A very acceptable condition copy at an advantageous price!

DEEP PURPLE Made In Japan

1972 UK first issue 7-track double vinyl LP, featuring recordings made in Osaka & Tokyo, in August 1972, with 'Gramophone Company' perimeter text and 1U matrices on all sides along with the 'Porky', 'Delta Pork', 'Pecko' & 'Peckie' etchings, laminated gatefold sleeve. The sleeve has only a few shelfwear marks and light signs of age. The vinyl remains a beautiful EX-/EX with just a couple of light surface marks which do not affect play, the labels have a fewspindle marks but still superb. A very respectable copy of this 40 year old album.

STATUS QUO Piledriver

1972 UK 8-track Vertigo 'swirl' label LP, the fifth studio album by the English rock band, their first to be produced by the group themselves & first on the Vertigo label after their departure from Pye Records. Features the single Paper Plane and a great cover of the Door's classic Roadhouse Blues, comes in a matt gatefold picture sleeve printed with lyrics on the inside complete with the original 'swirl' inner. The sleeve is near mint showing few signs of its age. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned and reveals only the lightest few marks by the spindle area to indicate play. A superb copy of this sought after original.

1969 US second issue 6-track stereo vinyl LP, housed in alternate back pasted 'B' group picture sleeve which replaced the withdrawn naked girl cover. This issue remarkably remains factory sealed from new and is therefore MINT and unplayed!

JULY July

Very rare 1969 Brazilian first [& only] issue of the 1968 12-track mono LP with Major/Minor credits to the labels & sleeve. This LP was produced in extremely small numbers, making it actually rarer than the UK version. Originally released on Major Minor in the UK, this superb release went largely unnoticed at the time, but is now held in the same high regard as Tomorrow, Blossom Toes, The Koobas and many other luminaries of the UK Sixties psych scene, with awesome bitingguitar, rich harmonies, sitar, bongos, and above all, inventive songwriting. Apart from a couple of small splits that have appeared in the top & bottom seams as a result of forty years of storage, the fully laminated picture sleeve shows just a few light creases and a little edgewear, with the spine text still remaining clearly visible. The labels display only minor spindlewear and the vinyl itself reveals very little indication of play with surface noise kept to a minimum throughout. Far from the norm with Brazilian releases of this age, which are normally found wrecked with torn sleeves & an abundance of writing, this copy shows no such defects apart from those already mentioned. A superb copy of this seldom seen South American mono issue of a very rare album indeed!

Rare 1976 Australian 8-track black & yellow Albert label LP, the third studio album by Australian hard rock band, unique picture sleeve featuring the original Australian only artwork. The sleeve displays barelyany discernible wear and the vinyl has only a couple of surface marks which has no effect on play. A very respectable copy.

Rare US United Stations Programming Network 3-sided double LP radio show, featuring an exclusive interview with Neil & Chris with 14 songs including West End Girls, Two Divided By Zero, Opportunities, It's A Sin, Heart and more. First broadcast on the weekend of 10th December 1988, comes in a custom pasted sleeve complete with 3-page cue sheet. The sleeve has some minor storage wear with a split on the bottom seam otherwise superb, the vinyl is flawless.

BOB DYLAN Bringing It All Back Home

Late 60s US third label variant 11-track stereo vinyl LP with white text '360 Sound' labels but without 'Nonbreakable' text, second variant pasted picture sleeve with '<--STEREO-->' logos front & back. The sleeve shows barely any shelfwear, as it remains in the original [opened] shrinkwrap. The vinyl also remains in excellent condition with just a few light paper scuffs to show for nearly fifty years.
