EDIT - We know some people are having problems getting this episode to show up on iTunes, and I still haven't seen Stitcher catch this episode...we're aware of the problem! In the meantime, if you delete our cast and resubscribe, Episode 18 will show up! As for Skitcher, well, let's hope it updates! Still don't know what happened yet (everything seems to have uploaded to our feed burner okay...), but we'll continue to work on it and hopefully this problem doesn't persist for Episode 19 next week! Thanks for your continued support!

EDIT 2 - Seems like the only fix so far is to DELETE your feed (send all the files to the trash bin), then resubscribe. Still haven't found the root cause of the problem, and we feel really shitty that this episode will be lost if you don't DELETE and then RESUBSCRIBE. Don't hate us! <3

All the technical kinks are officially worked out! We've tested Pamela for Skype as a recording device, and while the quality is a bit low, it will suffice for now until we decided to drop some money on a mixer and microphones. Audacity still works as well as ever, and hosting via ourmedia.org and the internet archive works really well! Finally, Feedburner grabs our cast off of this blog quickly and gets it onto iTunes super fast. Everything works really well now.

All we need now is substance! Eli, Bonnie, and myself are working on which schedule of recording works best for all of us. We're thinking either Thursdays or Sundays...Either way, post-record editing will be minimal, so hopefully podcasts will be available on iTunes and feedcatchers that night or the next day.

We look forward to broadcasting soon!

So linking podcast mp3's on this blog and manually pinging our feedburner feed pops our podcast on iTunes right away. That's working all well and dandy. We're now known as 99 Lives Radio 3.0, as this is our third attempt in doing this.

Some things that aren't working - Can't get an image up on our podcast yet...I have an image set in our feed, perhaps it just needs some time to refresh.
Our podcast is also not showing up on iTunes podcast search, I've had to manually subscribe to the podcast. 99 Lives Radio 2.0 is there, with our one episode, which I find pretty funny....again, maybe it's just a refresh time issue.

I have some things to do now, namely take a shower, go to the post office, and do the dishes (#househusbandproblems). I'll be back in the afternoon to see if the issues have cleared themselves up.
