This hair color process can go very bad if your hair stylist doesn't have a lot of experience. It really needs to be subtle and the marrying of the color needs to be very natural. It can sometimes take a few processes to get it just right.

I have been pushing my clients to go this route for several years now and finally they are coming around. Sacramento is always a bit behind :-) With ombre hair coloring you get so many benefits. It's easier on the hair, less maintenance, and it gives the skin a beautiful glow.

It's not quite summer yet but in Sacramento, its just around the corner :-) Now is a good time to start the process of going lighter. I like to add a few sun kissed highlights around the front and crown. Then finish it with some ombre coloring on the ends.
