The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon announce its Class 10 result for the session 2014.This year, a total of 13,28,970 students had registered for the CBSE Class 10 Board exams. There are 7,93,940 boys and 5,35,030 girls out of the total number of registered students. This means a total increase of 5.54 per cent in the number of candidates.

A total of 12,871 schools participated in the exams, wherein the centres were held at 3,253 places. Out of the total centres, 605 were local centres, 66 were foreign and 8 centres hosted the exams for blind candidates in the capital city, Delhi.

Totally 3.95 lakh students will appear for Eamcet across the state on May 22, 2014. 2,82,444 students applied for engineering and 1,12,860 for medicine. Students appearing for the engineering stream will sit for the test from 10 am to 1 pm while those for the medicine stream from 2.30 to 5.30pm. Hall tickets can be downloaded from May 8 onwards.
