Cóntanos un pouco como foron os teus primeiros contacto co mar e cando?

Comecei como a maioría a facer bodyboard nas praias galegas. Son natural de Carnota pero crecín en Louro, dentro da Ría de Muros, así que tiven que buscar un deporte máis asequible pois non podía ir todos os días a coller tombos, e empecei a facer windsurf e cando podía facía surf en Area Maior e en Carnota.

Come and join Abel Lago in this 5 days wave coaching trip in one of the most famous spots in the world, Tarifa.

Abel will be on the water with you, helping you gain experience and confidence in wave riding. It doesn't matter if you are just getting started in waves, or if you are already experienced and just looking for some coaching to push your level that little bit further… This week will be adapted to suit you. Abel is an experienced coach, previous World Champion and Spanish Champion. Limited places available, to make this a really customised coaching trip. We will also be including SUP and surf instruction for the moments when the wind is light, and morning Yoga sessions to get you into shape and help prepare your body for all those hours in the water.

Our 5 day package includes:

- 4 nights accommodation in a double room over looking the beach at ARTE VIDA HOTEL.

- 3 days full coaching with Abel Lago. 2 hours morning and 2 hours afternoon, with a break for lunch.

- Morning Yoga sessions overlooking the water.

- If the wind drops, we will offer SUP and surf instruction and tips instead, so you will be fully active.

- Breakfast and Lunch included each day.

- Great vibes, fun nights out in Tarifa, Photos of your progress to take with you at the end of the week.

- Equipment storage area

- Rental is available at an extra price if anyone needs it.

The last guest of the summer was here and he was the most funny and like guy I have kiting and surfing here in Galicia with me.

Roberto Ricci and family decided to come to Galicia to discover my home spots and know a bit more about the Spanish culture.

They were here for only a week but they had time for kite almost every day, surf and do some tours around to know our secrets.

Verano en Galicia

Este verano está siendo increible de viento y olas, es la primera vez en los últimos 13 años que estoy todo el verano en casa y tengo que decir que tengo mucha suerte de vivir donde vivo. También estoy trabajando con mis huespedes en "Come and ride with me", todos los que han venido a visitarme han podido navegar con kite, surfear o hacer SUP casi cada día.
También la prensa local me apoya con un artículo en La Voz de Galicia sobre mi pequeño negocio y por otro lado también soy la imagen de Galicia para el mundo pues utilizan una foto mia en Carnota entrando al agua con el kite. Algo que me resulta muy gracioso pues es el gobierno gallego el que quiere prohibir el kitesurf por culpa del pajaro "chorlitejo", pero luego usan el kitesurf de gancho para atraer el turismo. Bueno a disfrutar del verano y del mar!!!

MY FIRST GUEST IN GALICIA

Tomas Barreiro is an ex pro windsurfer that was Spanish Champ in the 90’s and he was my first guest in Galicia, and not only rode in kite because we get two great days of kiting and also three more of a over head waves for surfing.

These days I am finishing the RRD photo shooting for the 2014 waves boards and Tomas had the opportunity to test all the new collection for next year and also ride with the Religion MKIII.

He was a fantastic guest and I hope he come had a great time and come back soon.

And so our 2013 season starts! Kitemorocco are always happy to be brining you the best in coaching and progression, so we are glad to have Abel Lago joining us in Dakhla from 25rd March to the 1st of April 2013.

GETTING HERE: Just catch a flight to Casablanca, and then on to Dakhla with www.royalairmaroc.com. There are 5 flights per week. As soon as you land, you will find us at the airport ready to meet you!

STAY: We have arranged the perfect solution for your accommodation, close to the best wave spots that Dakhla has to offer. We will include your breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as arrange a group barbecue out in the desert.

LEARN AND PROGRESS: If you are wanting to start wave riding this is your perfect chance. To be at a spot where you have a variety of conditions that allow you to get started with perfect waves for your progression, with Abels supervision and advice, you will be addicted in no time.

For more advanced wave riders, Dakhla offers some amazing conditions to get the most out of this trip. Abel will be there to ride with you, give you coaching advice, help you tune your gear, try some of the latest RRD gear, and get ripping in no time.

TIME TO CHILL: Don't forget that this is a vacation for you! So no stress, and you can do things in your own time…. Coaching/tips/video analysis will be about 4 hours per day, so you also have plenty of time to relax and take it easy, it thats what you want!

THE SPOT: Dakhla, in the very south of Morocco, know by many as a freestyle/freeride spot due to the 40km lagoon and endless amounts of space, is also an incredible wave spot. There is a choice of spots where we will be riding: Foum Loubouir, La Sarga, Pointe D'Or….. We will be searching for the top conditions for the group, and a variety of conditions to get the most out of your trip. We will have our 4x4s to take us to each spot, exploring Dakhla and checking out this amazing place.
