It was the biggest most star studded event of the year and I was there! The New Year's Eve concert kicking off the grand opening of the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas was off the chain!! The concert started out with an amazing performance from Coldplay. Their set list included all their big hits,"Clocks," "Fix You," and "Viva la Vida." Jay-Z brought in the New Year with special guest Kanye. Jay-Z also performed while John Mayer played guitar to "99 Problems." Then brought out another special guest and wifey, Beyonce, and performed "Forever Young." After that, Beyonce performed "Halo" while Chris Martin played piano!! WTF? I'm glad I don't have a heart condition, because I definitely would've passed out. What an amazing night :)

Rain, Rain Go Away...

The weather has been so crazy here this week! The normal sunny Los Angeles is now drenched with rain. The thunderstorms and heavy winds are non-stop. The roads are flooded and driving stinks! I think April is the only one enjoying the change in weather!

Mac Stores and Pilot Season

This week was super stressful for me! Not only did my computer crash but it's also the beginning of pilot season! Pilot season, for those of you who don't know, is the time of year when the networks shoot a ton of TV shows to see what they will introduce in their fall lineup. Basically, a really busy time for actors. But, an inconvenient time for my poor computer to act up on me. I took her down to the Mac store right away to figure out her issues. Now she's back up and running thanks to the peeps at the genius bar and Brian :)

New Year's Eve

Last night was New Year's Eve and what better way to ring in the new year than with s'mores, alcohol, and close friends? The turnout was decent, around twenty people showed up. It was chilly out, for Los Angeles standards that is. But we all hung out around the fire pit and made s'mores to warm up. The shots of tequila probably helped too!

My Last Day on the Set of "Weeding Out"

Yesterday was my last day on the comedy feature "Weeding Out." My final scene was shot on a balcony, in a house in Santa Monica. It was a really cold day so I tried to stay warm between takes by sipping hot tea and wearing a robe. It probably didn't help that my character wears close to nothing either! :) But I had a great time playing the role of "Brittany" and I can't wait to see the finished product!

It was a busy weekend of shooting on the set of "Weeding Out", auditions, and playing nurse! Brian fell and broke his foot! I feel like most of the weekend was spent waiting around the emergency room :(

My New Reel

I just put together my new acting demo reel. A demo reel is a variety of short scenes from projects you have done, edited together on one reel. It's a great tool to have because then agents and casting directors can actually see what you look like on camera and make sure you can actually act!

Weekend Cruise to Ensenada

Where in the world can someone find a casino, cocktails, all you can eat buffets, and sea sickness all in one place? On a cruise, of course! This weekend Brian's parents took us on a Carnival cruise to Ensenada, Mexico. The weather wasn't exactly the kind of weather I had in mind for a cruise..it was 60 degrees and rainy most of the weekend. But I still had a great time!

"Weeding Out"

This week has been really hectic! I had quite a few auditions and a lot of unpacking to do. Yesterday was my first day of shooting on the comedy feature film "Weeding Out". It was a blast! The cast and crew were making me laugh the whole time. I shoot another scene later on this month. I can't wait!
