Sophia Coppolas style and passion about her work is inspiring. We all know it’s not for everybody.. but I love most of her films. Her Miss Dior Cherie commercial is a personal favorite & I love the background song Moi, Je Joue, by Brigitte Bardot.

Simply Chocolate

I know it's very common...A lot of people likes chocolate. If its a clothing style its just
timeless and also gender and culture blindness.

La Dolce Visa

2009-02-02T04:39:00.009-05:00

I can blog blog blog about fashion, dining and wines but really how many percent of our population is interested in these things right now when they are more concerned about saving money, debt elimination and business cycle contraction.

It’s hard to be uber jolly and hip when your debt is up to your hip, when your friends just got laid off from work and big companies around you are closing.

We live in the world of “life takes visa” which really means I’ll give you $500 you give me a thousand. Remember the time your friend invited you to Galley Bay Resort & Spa in Antigua? Or Saint-Tropez? You called visa and after hearing “to-check-your-balance-press-one-you-have-10,000-dollars…” your off to buy your swimsuit 1, 2 and 6 plus tanning lotion, plane ticket, hotel reservations etc…or that Gucci dress that makes your heart skip a bit. You have no money in the bank but you have in you credit card! So voila!!

Five months later you can only afford to pay the interest rate and your principal or the amount you owe is not moving. You can’t use your credit card anymore as you’re over the limit but your debt is going higher than ever. This might not be your case at all but if you’re reading this, you might be someone I know, someone who got nothing important to do today or you are in dire need of some debt relief in order to taste “la dolce vita.”

Below I summarized the types of debt relief solutions available. Decide which one works best for your situation and research companies before actually dealing with them as there are a lot of debt relief services scams who might have interest rate higher than all your interest rates combined.

Debt Consolidation is when you combine all of your bills into one monthly payment,
Therefore making it easy for you to pay those bills and stop or lower late fees.

Debt Settlement is also called debt negotiation may help you save up to 60% overall by getting credit card companies to agree to reduce your credit card debt or lower your monthly payment. This may affect your credit score as your account will be marked as ‘paid as agreed’ or non payment. But it’s better than bankruptcy.

Debt mediation is a form of debt negotiation but normally involves a very large amount of credit card or other unsecured debt. Mediation may be handled by an attorney or law firm that specializes in working on your behalf to negotiate debt settlements for you.

Debt Reduction is when you reach the end of the road and don’t know if your going right or left. What the company would have you do is ignore your creditors for up to six months while at the same time saving all of your money to use to negotiate which might be less in the long run. However this will demolish whatever credit score you have. So you may want to avoid this unless there are no other options.

Debt Management where companies will help you handle your finances. This is a sloooowww process, this could take up to 5 or 7 years and the only thing eliminated is your interest rate you will still have to pay your principal and is more time consuming.

I tend my vines and do not hurry.

Fill up the glass and rinse my throttle.

In search of a perfect perfume

2009-01-22T00:38:00.026-05:00

Sweet yet sexy, subtle and feminine the kind of scent I want. I've read all the articles about finding the one perfect perfume, dreamt about mixing my own scent and even meeting a perfume angel who will give me the secret formula to a perfect scent only I have in the whole wide world! But of course there's no perfume angel so I resort to 'cvtps' or 'constant visit to the perfume store.' I had to explain to the lady each time that I am in search for “the one’” perfect one and that I have to try it first and see if the scent works well with my body chemistry, if I will still like the smell after a couple of hours, if my troop likes the smell & if birds starts following me...then I'll buy it. and each time she will suggest something that are either too strong or so not me, and I want to give her the 'ELP ELF' "thanks for your hELP, i'll find it mysELF" lol so here are the nominees:

As was described on their website : "Sheer sensuality. Crystal transparency and luminous brightness: Versace introduces the new bright crystal. A precious jewel of rare beauty characterized by a fresh, vibrant, flowery scent". I love this scent.

Flower Bomb by Victor and Rolf

Miss Dior Chérie

A modern take on the classic fragrance . , In the words of Galliano“as fashion evolves, so must its scent, and the essence of the new fragrance must be as modern as the fashion.”

This dazzling blend of sensual peony, jasmine, and pink pepper is melded with notes of sweet litchi and effervescent pomegranate and pineapple, and smoothed with soothing musk, white tea, and warm woods, is guaranteed to make her the object of desire.

Wish Pink Diamond by Chopard

Happy Spirit by Chopard

Daisy by Marc Jacobs

Chanel N5, It's a classic for a reason.

Burberry Brit, a sweet mixture of sugar and spice, sugared almond and white peony, amber, mahoganywood, tonka beans and vanilla. I'm digging this one :P

Van Cleef & Arpels Feerie

I like the unusual bottle design, a fairy sitting on a twig, so cute! i wish it's tickled pink bottle instead of blue but it's inspired by midsummer nights jewelry collection. The scent, well by the perfumer Antoine Maisondieu a mix of sweet berry over creamy-powdery violet, the notes: violet, red berries, mandarin, rose, jasmine, iris and vetiver.

Cruel Gardenia by Guerlain.

A perfume to play with emotions and memories of childhood? I got really curious about this one curious about this one. A note from the scented salamander says: "A fragrance on the verge of cruelty. It's like a wonderful childhood memory, often replayed in one’s mind with a lovely feeling of nostalgia very close to the threshold of pain. Cruel Gardénia stuns the senses with diabolical power. Its notes – sunny, silky smooth and lingering – can become an obsession. Counter to tradition, Guerlain avoided creating any impression of opulence by deploying the gardenia in combination with the finest and most precious white musks, for a soft, velvety aura. One encounter with this incredibly feminine fragrance is like a shot to the heart. And there it stays, forever. How does the magic work? Essence of damask rose with hints of peach and neroli create a refreshing initial burst of florals. Gradually, the scent of gardenia develops with the grace of violet, warmed by ylang ylang from the Comoros and white musks. These lingering notes, present from the beginning, for m the backbone of the composition. Essence of Tonka bean sustains the white musks and moves into a sensuous note of vanilla and sandalwood.

Serge Lutens' Five O'clock

Eternity By Calvin Klien, I love the fresh scent.

Blend of white freesia petals, night hyacinth and hibiscus gives Tommy Hilfigers Dreaming perfume an emotional and mental vigor. I like this one too, God I like everything!

Dior Addict 2

Brazilian orange, caipirinha limon, mandarin, tagette, green leaf, rosewood, gaiac wood, elemi, amber, musk, coconut. Ah I'd love to be in Bahiana.

Bahiana Eau de Toilette by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier

The Best Is Yet To Be
On your joyful wedding day,

You begin a brand new life.

Friends and family give their gifts

To joyful husband, blissful wife.
But the greatest gift you'll ever get,
A gift from heaven above,

Is love forever, ending never, Everlasting love.
You'll share life's joy and pleasure;
You'll have plenty of that, it's true.

But love is the real treasure

For your new spouse and you.
Tomorrow you cannot see.

sure for the two of you:
The best is yet to be.
