Way of an Idea

A simple game, where you have to direct the falling apple to Einstein's' head. The game has 19 levels available that you can play and more levels can be created or purchased.

Way of an Idea is strikingly similar to Ramps though instead of laying ramps you need to draw a line with the chalk to get the apple the head.

The game gives you a good amount of time to get a fair idea of how the game is played, but the levels do get quite complex and if you enjoy this one you should also give Splitter 2 a shot.

The controls are fairly simple, z and x rotate between the eraser and chalk while space bar gets the apple rolling.

Bloons 4: Tower Defense

Who doesn't love popping balloons, from the original bloons to now, Ninja Kiwi has made Bloons not just so much more fun, but definitely a lot better. Better in terms of graphics, game play and upgrades, this version comes integrated with Mochi features making it easier for people who have money to unlock achievements faster :P

Anyway Bloons 4 has grown quite a bit as a tower defense game, with a range of free and premium tracks, 12 towers that can be upgraded over four times, some other perks thrown in and unlocking achievements as you pop more balloons and rank up.

But there are some bugs like the game does not start bug, I have no clue what it is, I suspect the game communicates with a server prior to starting up and that was a little haywire, I could not play the game from three different computers and all of a sudden it started to work one day, funny and irritating. Thanks to that the game was put up late over here.

Anyway enough of me blabbering, I am finding it tough to get through the intermediate tracks even on easy mode so definitely needs thinking over and just not powerful monkeys, or maybe the Jedi Boomerang thrower can help. Placement of your towers are the key to completing levels, all the best, heres bloons 4 tower defense, have a banana party!

Continuity an A Mazing Game

Its very rare now to find a game that captivates me to keep going beyond a certain level, and we are glad to have found one that does. Continuity, a funny name for a game whose goal is to simple move through the map to reach a key and unlock the door.

But theres a twist to it obviously, every map is is broken up into parts that you move like a jigsaw puzzle to get the key or the door.

The game has a lot of variety of easy and slightly tough maps in the start, as you progress through the levels, the number of pieces and complexity in the map progressively increases.

The number of keys required to unlock the doors also increase, I personally think its a fantastic game brought to us by a bunch of students at Ragtime Games. If you have watched the movie Cube, you might find the gameplay a little like one of the people trapped in there.

Submachine Six: The Edge

After a long time, here we have Mateusz Skutnik, with a sequel to the Submachine series, and boy its worth the wait. The story line continues were Submachine 5 left of.

Though somehow, this time you would find a lot of elements of his earlier games combined into this one. The game seemed surprisingly easy for me to play until I got that damed cube in my hand and tried opening it with the ploy :)

Until I watched the walkthrough and ruined the entire game for myself. I highly recommend that you do not do that as this game just seems to be getting more twisted and complex as it proceeds. I probably would have given up countless times, and I had to upload it here.

But if time is on your side, you know the solutions are just around the corner, of course you need to figure out which corner to look. But Mateusz genius,is once again appreciated and games like these definitely test your skills.

Days2Die: The Other Side

The sequel to Days2Die is here, the other side starts of at the end of the first parts story line. Since I have not played the original Days2Die, I cant really say much about the improvements in game play but here comes a crisp game, a little buggy but a whole lot of fun.

Let me just start with the little pesky bug I noticed, killing zombies at close range, especially with your pal in sight, bullets don't seem to be doing damage to them as well, perhaps the melee weapon works so try that out.

The game is crisp the art and animation looks like some quality time has been spent in developing and incorporating details into it that make the game more immersive, though the sounds are plain. The game play follows a story line, as you kill zombies you get experience as well as points that you can use to buy more weapons.

As your experience increases you levels up and get new skills such as more damage, faster reloads and more. Most of the zombies coming at you seem to be generous with bullets and health at least in the start, health gets rarer as you proceed.

The variety of Zombies also are impressive by level three you get some nice Axe throwing Goliaths, there is a decent range of weapons available as well, this sure is a game that you will spend some time on, the funny thing is the physics, gameplay and character movement seem to have a striking resemblance to a similar action game called thing thing the link goes to the 4th game of that series.

If you recollect Kings Island the RPG that I found similar to Diablo, well the next edition is out, its 10 MB and more than all that its got a new character.

Unlike most games were you choose a character and develop its skills as you play Kings Island 2 has a twist to it, here you can swap or change your characters in game and even in battle with the click of a button, awesomeness.

Well apart from the new character which is a Mage, you have the old warrior that you are and this time a lot more conversational story line. The game play remains the same, but the complexity and difficulty of the game seems to have been upped a notch.

You can expect to have newer creatures to fight again and tougher ones coming up in a level or two unlike the previous version that picked pace slowly, you find yourself in the midst of action right in the start.

All said and done this game can have you spending quite a bit of time on it, not just with new weapons but an entire new skill map that you can choose which skills to harness and specials that can be used. Are you reader for some more wandering fun?

If you played Endless Zombie Rampage, you would recollect that the game was just mindless fast paced zombie killing, if you happened to beat the game how we did, you would realize that you become invincible and the game would just go on and on without you even getting a scratch.

Now put together that fast paced action game, add some missions, add a safe house like the last stand and yes you still have an arsenal of weapons, how does a flame thrower sound??? Well I am sure this should entice you.

Shadez 2 : Battle For Earth

If you recollect Shadez, a game built by Sean Cooper, the man who has a belt of games under him like the Boxhead Zombie Wars and more. Well Shadez had an interesting game play, the weaponry and upgrades were interesting, but it lacked good levels.

But this has changed in Shadez 2: Battle for Earth, you no longer are fighting against humans but a different species that has different weaponry. Also the game play has dramatically changed, you now have to gather resources build your city, army and then take on the enemy.

Not only does it have a skirmish mode where you can get down and dirty right away but you also can choose mission where the game play varies from defeating enemies, to rescuing civilians and also defending structures like the defend the white house mission.

Shadez 2 pushes the game play even further with a range of structures, tanks, choppers and infantry, you also have turrets and missile launchers to protect your base. This game offers a good variety of everything and extremely enjoyable game play as compared to the first version of Shadez. Sit back and get ready to blast some alien bases to pieces!

Crazy Go Nuts 2

Well don't feel bad about it, but the game revolves around shooting a squirrel out of a canon. Quite similar to Max Damage where you aim your canon to do damage, but in Crazy Go Nuts you have to collect the nuts by shooting the squirrel out of the canon.

There are specials and power ups and bonus points and all that to make the game interesting. You can shoot a bird or aim the guy who pops up from the ground for bonuses but what makes this game interesting is the levels that get complex and the design is very appealing as compared to other games like this.

You can bounce the squirrel off things and need to achieve a target score to progress to the next level. Its not tough, but certain levels take multiple tries to get the required score.

The game has 24 free levels for you to enjoy and it seems more than enough unless you have a fetish for games like these. Thanks to the guys at Funderoo for this game!

Theres not been a single flash game like this, according to my statistics on my Casual Collective profile, I have played this game for 17 days, thats 17 days into hours, mins, seconds. The most played game, not just a flash game.

This is the low down, two teams, five towers each, one of these towers is located in the base of the others, your base is where you spawn when the game begins, you respawn when you die.

You are one of the eight tanks, each with their own abilities, such as, teleporting, invisibility, increasing firing speed, stunning, gluing....just to name a few. 6 out of these tanks are available over here, to play with the two bonus pack tanks you need to play the game on the Casual Collective and purchase a bonus pack, which I recommend you do so we can support these developers.

The team size ranges from 1 to 6, so at a period of time a maximum of 12 people can play the game together. You do require a decent internet connection for this game or you end up lagging and pausing the game for everyone which really is no fun.

After playing this game for a long time I finally purchased a bonus pack to play with the two bonus pack minions.

I am sure your going to have good fun with this one, trust me I spend more time on this game than what I do at work!

We are reaching the end of the great escape series. We have found ur way out of the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and the basement, today its time for you to escape the attic.

With the walkthrough it really becomes a joke, so take some time and try to figure this one out. This time you have a helping hand in the game, three batty friends with special powers.

Like the rest you first have to scout the room trying to find all the objects possible to help you build your tools that will aide with the escape.

Guardian rock is an innovative puzzle game that takes away anything that you could find boring in a puzzle. The game revolves around a block that you control with the arrow keys, you progress from a level to the next by unlocking a door.

The door is unlocked by killing all the human archaeologists by crushing them with the rock. Its not a gory game by any chance, but definitely one thats gonna make you turn those gears in your head.

As the maze in which your guardian rock is seems to be getting tougher to move through. As the game gets tougher new obstacles begin to appear making the game play even more interesting. I am sure you will enjoy this one! A special thanks to Torpedolab for this lovely game!

Twin Shot 2

I have not played the earlier version of Twin Shot, and even though this version of Twin Shot 2 allows you to play only one part of the game that comprises 50 levels it still is loads of fun.

In twin shot you are an angel armed with a bow and arrow like cupid, and you have to pass numerous levels of much variation. This game has so much to offer, the creators of Twin Shot 2 who also made Sky Wire definitely know what they are doing.

Apart from the many different creatures you come across over here in this game, every level has something new to offer. The flexibility in the game as well is amazing the ability to walk off the screen from one side enter from the other makes the game play even more captivating.

All this while keeping the basic controls of the game simple definitely seems like a wining combination. The transition from one level to the other also is kind of cute, if you like this game I am pretty sure you will spend quite a bit of your time trying to finish these fifty levels, have fun!

Its been a while since we actually had any multi player games put up, to be honest there is a dearth of online multi player games for free and that actually are different.

Every ones interested in a game of poker though, especially if you are playing against humans around the world it makes it all the more interesting and thats what we have for you today, multi player TeXes hold em up poker.

Although the game does not have advanced features like adding friends, you can simply create a profile by putting in a user name and password and start off with a select amount of chips.

You can then select a room, your buy in amount and play the game with normal Texas hold em rules and try to win as many chips as possible. The positive part about this game is that it does its job without too many frills, though its sometimes difficult to identify the suit of cards, do hope you enjoy your game of poker!

Its very rare that a game combines skill and destruction together, so when we come across a game like that you know it has to be put up on the blog full of games.

Max damage does exactly that, you have control of a canon that shoots a variety of balls, like bouncy ones, flammable ones, exploding balls etc. your mission is to cause maximum damage with your canon.

You need to aim, bounce and knock down as many televisions, fridges, microwaves etc. It sounds simple but just like ragdoll canon you need to have some sense of space to get the balls to cause damage.

The more damage cost the better, you have cross the minimum damage cost provided for each level to progress to the next level.

You can control the canon with the mouse, left click and drag away and close from the canon to adjust power. All the best have fun causing the maximum damage possible!

The Great Basement Escape

Mateusz has an awesome brain not just to come up with these games, but the process required to escape these rooms, to actually build an entire mechanism like the great escape series uses is not only fantastic but a very well planned and executed process.

Just like the other games in the series, you will rack your brain to get out of the basement. Although its not too tough to find all the tools required to escape and put them together. But what makes this unique is the mechanism of the basement escape.

Now that we have escaped so many other rooms, the mystery of why are we stuck in these rooms will soon unfold in future episodes, but first you need to get out of the basement!

Skylocopter 2

There is a comment on the original Skylocopter saying, that was an easy game, why did the developers even bother making it! Funny thing is that the developers have even come up with the second version of this game and well its a tad bit tougher than the first version but beatable in one single go!

The basics of the game is the same, make your way to the key to unlock the exit, avoid the bombs, drop bombs, get to the next level and upgrade your chopper! So whats new apart from the level, the game has inched a few notches in terms of difficulty, there are levels where you have fly through thin corridors to get to the key.

Although controlling the helicopter is easy, when you max out speed its difficult to do so. Apart from these things the game is virtually the same and lacks tough levels, it actually lacks levels itself and can be completed in under 15 minutes, well I do hope you enjoy it while it lasts though!

Splitter 2

Splitter 2 has been given to us by the Casual Collective, the same guys who made The Space Game, one of my favorite games on this blog.

Splitter two is based on a very simple concept, you have to help the smiley get to the exit point. Sounds relatively simple except that Mr. Smiley seems to be in a situation in every level. You got to click and drag to split wood, ropes and parts of mechanical devices to help him reach the exit.

The game slowly progresses into more complex levels, though some of the complex levels as well can be solved with just a few clicks, extra splits are provided in most levels so there's nothing to worry about that. The main part of the game is to understand the working of the system and how it would react to your cut.

This game can really tax your brain and if you do not like challenging games, you can avoid this one.

The Great Bedroom Escape

Continuing with the Great Escape series, you find yourself locked in the Bedroom, its strange how you end up locked in these rooms. Once you escape all the rooms the story will become clear.

Mateusz once again has created a wonderful game for us to enjoy. Not only would you have to find all the tools, but to put them together and combine them to make something useful is the key to this game.

Do not fear for I have embedded the walk through video of the great bedroom escape on the page itself so you can use it in case you get stuck. I quite guarantee you will, especially to find the key to open the cupboard.

Covert Front 3: Night in Zurich

Agent Kara is back, if you have not played the previous versions Covert Front 1 and Covert Front 2, I suggest you try them before you actually begin to play this one. If you have you would recollect that your looking out for Karl van Toten. After two years in development Covert Front 3 is definitely not going to disappoint you if your a fan of the series.

This game is longer than the other two series, well it also seems to have gotten a lot tougher. In the earlier versions you could look for objects and clues and easily put the two together, but now its time to virtually burn out some of your neurons, hidden meanings and clues are everywhere. If you are stuck somewhere you probably already have the clue and you need to reanalyze what you have.

This version of the game has also been broken into chapters unlike the older ones, the game play though stays the same as you interact with mouse clicks and collect objects that can be accessed from the inventory, click the small i on the screen. When you can interact with the scene the pointer turns in to the hand icon. The Covert Front 3 Walk through has also been added, just play the youtube video above!

SAS Zombie Assault Two

Some of you may have played SAS Zombie Assault this is the sequence to that game, the game play is the same as the first part with a lot of new functions. If you recollect Zombie Assault One was based in a specific location a map though not too large you had to run about quite a bit.

The new version allows you to unlock new parts of the map, I am not sure if this is a good idea, you need to, to be able to find new guns and weapons.

But the more you unlock the more barricades more the zombies, more killing and definitely more fun. If you have not played the previous version, all you need to know is that you need to kill the zombies and survive.

You are in a room with barricades, the zombies break them and enter, so you need to fix them and kill them to survive. For every zombie you kill you get cash to upgrade weapons and features.

You can also get stronger barricades, sentry guns, etc, or does that make it easy? Not really as the zombies get stronger, variety is the spice of life isn't it. You can even try Endless Zombie Rampage if you like this game, its quite similar except there's no safe house like this game, your out in the open.

Its been a while since we had a flying game up, well this game does not suck but neither is it unique. If you played Sky Chopper this one is just the same, well not really just the same but honestly quite similar.

Except the concept of the game is different, in Heli Assault you have to take down a target chopper that keeps eluding you. You have four different weapons, though you start off with only two and then in game you have a range of power ups including a shield.

The game is fun, even though it seems quite retro styled, sometimes old is gold. A lot of incoming enemies start showing up, bombers and a very crowded flight path as you progress through levels.

Although the advanced weapons help you knock down everything in sight, keep upgrading your chopper with the money you earn and have fun assaulting your enemies!
