The Rossoneri have already made one buy this summer, bringing in Gianluca Lapadula from Pescara.

However, according to CdS the potential new owners feel he wasn’t enough of a star name.

They have €100m ready to pour into the transfer kitty when the takeover is complete and one of their first targets could well be Everton hitman Lukaku.

The Chinese are ready to acquire 80% of Milan for €400M, then the remaining 20% for €300M within 3 years. The Chinese will have made investments of €400M in Milan by 2020. Napoli wins 3-1 against Milan in Sao Paolo

Edinson Cavani's hat-trick demolished Milan 3-1 and confirmed Napoli's status as genuine Scudetto contenders.

The Rossoneri went into this match without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Gennaro Gattuso, Massimo Ambrosini, Philippe Mexes, Pippo Inzaghi and Mathieu Flamini. Thiago Silva was also in doubt after suffering from a stomach bug.

Milan took the initiative early on and broke the deadlock at the 12th minute, as Antonio Cassano whipped in a cross from the right for Alberto Aquilani's diving header into the far top corner. It was his first goal for the Rossoneri and a very well taken one at that.

However, barely 60 seconds had passed when Napoli equalised. Christian Maggio knocked down a free kick for Edinson Cavani, whose first-time shot was low through Christian Abbiati's legs at the back post.

Napoli took the lead for the first time with a classic counter-attack. Walter Gargano started the run from the edge of his own area and surged forward, rolling across to the left for Cavani's powerful strike high at the near post.

It should've been 2-2 moments later when Cassano won back possession and placed a cross-field pass to send Aquilani clear on goal, but his daisy-cutter was parried by De Sanctis at full stretch. Aquilani went close again from distance, drilling just wide of the upright.

Cavani completed his hat-trick after the restart. Marek Hamsik's shot had been beaten away by Abbiati, but as the move continued El Matador pounced on an Alessandro Nesta clearance to volley in from the edge of the box.

Pato was booked for simulation in the penalty area, but moments later Milan should've had a penalty when Paolo Cannavaro punched Nocerino's cross out of the air. The referee and linesman only awarded a corner. Nesta risked a red card for a reaction foul, as he shoved Salvatore Aronica after the Napoli man had trodden on his foot.

Stephan El Shaarawy was given his Milan debut in place of Aquilani.

Talking to Sky Sport Italia after the match, the goalkeeper had this to say:

“Seven goals in three games is a lot, but there was some bad luck on both the first and third goals.

“It was a shame to see them equalise after only two minutes, that was our mistake. There was a rebounded header that fell to Cavani.

“The second was Cavani striking it very well though. I have seen it 15 times already, I seem to be well placed.

“Cavani kicked hard, but when you are beaten at your [near] goal-post, it is always the fault of the goalkeeper. With the second goal, they were able to score it before we could.

“They had more hunger than us. We were wrong because we allowed them to play on the counter-attack, and they like to play that way.”

“It means that they have started strongly, but there are still 36 games to play, the road is long.

“There is a desire for redemption after suffering a defeat in the early days. We will do well and we start with our heads high, because we are the champions.

“The next game against Udinese will not be easy, but we play at our ground and we will not give up.”

Here is full press conference of AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri ahead of Milan's match against Udinese:

"Udinese are doing well like Napoli, Cagliari and Juventus; the Bianconeri have not conceded a goal, they have good players and excellent quality and Di Natale is continuing to score. We have to be on our guard because recently we have paid straightaway for our first mistake.

"We'll have a look at Inzaghi today. He is much better and had his first traning session with the team but we will have a look today and after training we will see if he is in shape to come on during the game.

"I feel that we have made mistakes in these games while against Barcelona we defended very well. We committed errors at Napoli and paid for them. To confirm what we did last year it is not enough to be favours, but you must earn it on the pitch. I do not want to make excuses for Sunday because the team played well but in the middle we made mistakes that cost us dearly in the second and third goals, We have looked at things that did not go well, but also the good things, but there are things that need to be improved. It is only one game and tomorrow we will try not to make mistakes and not give Udinese the opportunity to show its quality.

"I have a lot of defenders, very few midfielders and a few strikers. I will look at everyone in training but Pato and Cassano will play up front even if they were criticised at Napoli but this should give them a lift to do even better. The whole team needs to sacrifice and be more aware of what is going on. I will see who in midfield is tired and make my decision on who is in the best shape.

“We have only played two games and the championship is long, but it’s been an abnormal start. We need our injured players to get back so we can reintegrate and start again. Ibrahimovic returned last night, this morning they have examined him again, and he is much better and I believe he will be ready for the game against Juventus, maybe even for the Champions League. Last year the only risk I took was with Ambrosini against Catania and we paid for it. I needed him but to risk a player for one game and then lose him for fifteen is not worth it.

“We have one point just as Inter do, so we are in the same situation as them. We didn’t lose our merit on Sunday against Napoli. Now we need to show what we are worth, we need to get back on track together and get going with the characteristics that were so important in us winning last year.

“In respect to the previous year, Pato has improved a lot and must get better and make the most of his quality. Of course it’s normal to play better in one game than another, but this happens to all players.

"I doubt that we will have players back from injury for the game against Cesena, maybe for the Champions League and for the Juventus game I hope to have two of three back, Boateng and Ibra. I don't think Robinho will recover. I don't believe in miracles, he needs time to recover. Gattuso has a paralysis to his sixth optical nerve and so we are running other tests to see how long his recovery time will be."

"First of all we need to think about tomorrow because that will be important for the other two games. Udinese are always a tough team to beat, that is why we need to be on top of our game, be patient and play with concentration.

"The goals we conceded against Napoli are similar to the ones we conceded against Cesena last season. From a statistical point of view we are the same as last season. Last season against Udinese we were hit on the break three times and that is where they are very dangerous. Tomorrow will be tough and we don't have to be impatient, we just have to careful and play without tension.

"Usually I don't have a go at referees because it is a difficult job and then sometimes things do go in your favour. Certainly on Sunday Tagliavento's decisions went against us but that doesn't mean we have to look for alibis."

Report: Milan draw 1:1 with Udinese

Here is full press conference of AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri ahead of Milan's match against Cesena in Saturday night:

“We’ll need the same spirit that we showed on the pitch against Udinese. We haven’t many players available. The same guys play every three days and we’ll need to play a similar game to the one we played on Wednesday. Cesena are well organized and dangerous on the counter attack. We’ll need this season’s first clean sheet.”

“The players I have available to me are all fine. We spoke with Galliani, but that’s an every day thing. We evaluated the injuries and the diagnosis is that they’re mostly from tackling. We hope to get the players back as quick as possible to get the entire squad back available.”

“The position on the table is the same: the draw was deserved despite the difficulties faced. Conceding a goal like that doesn’t happen often and the injury to Pato didn’t help matters. But at the same time we pulled together. We hit the post, put them under pressure and had a few chances.”

El Shaarawy: "A young guy, he should be left in peace rather than be given all this responsibility. Young players bring enthusiasm, even if we already have this, and some recklessness. I’m very happy with Cassano, he should do more, like everyone should, but the numbers speak for themselves. No one ever doubted his ability, but now he’s in good shape as well.”

Pato: "These repetitive injuries are not caused by a single trigger. We’ve examined the situation with the medical staff. We should be a bit more careful with him than we’ve been so far. We need to be by his side so that he gets back in top form both physically and mentally. We’ll try to take care of all the minor details as well, because the situation is a bit of an anomaly. With any injury, there’s very rarely a single cause, never mind in Pato’s case, where he’s come back from 8 injuries, all of them suffered in the San Siro stadium. That could be another small thing to think about. There’s no mathematical formula to solve the problem. We’ll work with the medical staff as we’ve always done to try and prevent these things and maybe even try to do a bit more. Last year in America, he was very thoroughly looked after but unfortunately he’s injured himself again. He had similar injuries before and we’ll have to work with him to prevent others. At only 22 years of age, I don’t think it’s connected to having played 2 games in only a few days.”

Ibrahimovic: "Tomorrow’s basically impossible. On Sunday we’ll see how he and Ambrosini are feeling. They have the best chance of playing in the Champions League but not Boateng. Robinho is getting better. I hope to have him back soon.”

"I have two forwards tomorrow and Inzaghi. There could be a change in the middle of the park while the players at the back will be more or less the same. Taiwo is getting better and he’s available for tomorrow”

"Balance in the middle of the field is fundamental; we didn’t have that at Napoli. Our midfield is partly new. It looks easy but with Aquilani and Nocerino, there are new situations. We conceded very little against Udinese and went down to an unthinkable goal.”

Inter: "I’m sorry for Gasperini. He always did well wherever he coached. This year he was unlucky. Ranieri needs no introduction, he’s a real professional. Inter is a team of a certain value. He’s coached those type of teams before and he’s doing it again. They’ll climb up the table.

The spirit: "The team never lost the spirit and when I talk about the team, I include myself in there. We already played a good game against Udinese and even against Napoli, it wasn’t that different. We were punished for making mistakes. We don’t play presumptuously.”

"I spoke with Berlusoni yesterday. He had called me on Tuesday as well. He knows it’s a bit of an emergency and he’s stayed close to the team. But we haven’t eased off. Just like we didn’t last year when we did well despite the injuries we had.”

The difference between Inter and Milan? "A single point. We’ve put in some good performances with some mistakes that we should have avoided. I don’t know about them. Pressure for the first win? Milan 1 - 0 Cesena: Finally 3 points

Clarence Seedorf gave Milan their first win of the Serie A season, beating Cesena with a sudden curler.

The Rossoneri were in crisis with just two points from three Serie A games, although Coach Max Allegri could blame an unprecedented injury list that included Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Alexandre Pato, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Luca Antonini, Daniele Bonera, Gennaro Gattuso, Massimo Ambrosini, Mathieu Flamini, Kingsley Boateng and Philippe Mexes.

Legendary veteran, Clarence Seedorf, received a ball from Urby Emanuelson, to score a supergol in the beginning of the match (5 ').

Until the end of the match Milan played better, but had no luck to score another goal, so that Seedorf's goal proved to be the value of three points.

After a victory, two draws and one loss, Milan has five points in the table of Serie A.

Allegri: "We have certainly given a sign of great strength"

Here’s what Massimiliano Allegri had to say to the press on the eve of Milan-Parma in Serie A:

About the match with Lecce: "The important thing was to win. We have to concede less as well but luckily we got the three points. Football is strange. Two weeks ago there were 5 nil- nils and and the week after there were 15 goals in three games. It ended well against Lecce. They played a good first half even if we didn’t.
We have to get back to conceding less and playing technically better. We made a lot of mistakes in the first half. When I said I would have done the same again, I meant that I would have sent out the same formation knowing that Ambrosini was not in top shape and he had to do a job that he doesn’t usually. I didn’t think we would be 3 down after the first half but I had already thought of making some changes in the second half.

I said at half time in the changing rooms that we had to forget about what had happened because we had 50 minutes ahead of us and it was within our means to get back into the game. The team played with the right character, determination and courage. Sometime you need these games to give the team a boost. As long as they finish well, they can be very positive. When I went into the changing rooms, I could do one of two things- I could scream and shout or I could try and clam the team down. I chose the second and the team responded well because they all have lots of quality. I got on well with the players, there’s mutual respect and we have a very important objective. To do again what we did last year. Wednesday evening, we played a night game then we had two days when we called the players in early and maybe there was a bit of fatigue from the midweek game. We showed on Sunday that we can score from anywhere at any time. We had what we needed to get back into the game and the players did well.

About the match against Parma: "We definitely sent out a strong signal. But we have to be careful not to put ourselves in these situations because physically speaking, it’s tough to get yourself back into the game. Tomorrow’s game will be difficult. They’re in form, they have Giovinco who’s doing well, they push hard and they’ll cause us problems. It’ll be tough and 72 hours after we have a game against Roma and so against Parma we’ll have to start on the right foot and be careful not to waste any energy. They played well against Genoa, they didn’t deserve to lose on Sunday and they did very well against Napoli. The only bad game they played was the opener against Juventus, but they’re on the way up even if they lost on Sunday.”/Source: acmilan.com/

Luis Enrique: "We'll have to be more careful at the back and more concrete up front"

According to the club website, here's what Giallorossi coach had to say ahead of the match with Milan on Saturday at 18.00:

"The match tomorrow at the Olympico will be a very tough test because they're the reigning champions. As far as my team goes, I'm happy with the team's attitude so far. It'll be an interesting game against Milan to see how the team react after three games in six days. We'll have to be more careful at the back and more concrete up front."

Here's what Luis Enrique had to say when asked about an episode from the 1994 World Cup:

"I have no problem with mauro Tassotti. What happens on the pitch stays on the pitch. I haven't read his interview, but I know the person he is and I know he regrets it. I'll have no problem shaking his hand."

Roma-Milan, called up players for tomorrow's match

Here is a list of the 20 players that have been called up from the coach Allegri for the tomorrow's match at the Stadio Olimpico against AS Roma:

Disciplinary situation: There are no suspensions for the match against Roma but Alessandro Nesta and Antonio Nocerino are a booking away from a suspension.

Referee's: Antonio Damato will referee Saturday evening's game between Milan and Roma at the Olympic stadium in Rome. He'll be assisted by Luca Maggiani and Elenito Di Liberatore. Luca Banti will be fourth man.

AC Milan vs. Juventus-Preview and probable lineups

AC Milan have started their season incredibly strong and could very well upset last years champions.

Under the new manager (and former Juventus player) Pippo Inzaghi, the Rossoneri have won each of their first two games with scores of 3-1 and 5-4. They use a 4-3-3 formation, with Jeremy Menez as the focal point of a flexible and dynamic front three. Inzaghi has brought back enthusiasm but improvements are needed, especially in defence.

The two centre-backs that started against Parma are both out, which means that Christian Zapata and Adil Rami are likely to start.

Stephan El Shaarawy is expected to start up front, which means both Giacomo Bonaventura and Fernando Torres will sit this one out. Central defender Daniele Bonera is suspended while Saponara, Diego Lopez, Montolivo and Alex are all out through injury.

Juventus are yet to concede a goal in competitive matches this season.Juventus have won its first three games of the season – two in the league as well as their Champions League opener in midweek.
