Two hundred twenty three years ago we argued amongst ourselves the pros and cons of a document which would eventually form our government. That document, the United States Constitution. The original premise of that document was to build a Union of States that would take care of specific common needs of our nation. Prior to its ratification each of the original 13 States/Colonies operated independently. After representatives of each of the original 13 States met they decided that our government was to be divided into three parts, executive, legislature, and judicial; each with its specific role, each with its respective limitations. Then those representatives brought back to their respective states and ultimately the citizens of those states the “suggestion” to relinquish some of their God given power to the federal government, ultimately the PEOPLE of each of the independent states agreed to give the federal government only those powers necessary to protect, defend and negotiate for the union of states on the world scene. They also knew that this body would be necessary to “umpire” disputes between the individual states. Weary of a despotic government and fearful that any form of government could ultimately lead to tyranny, safe guards where put in place, and specific rights were further defined in the “Bill of Rights”. From the freedom of speech to the sovereignty of the individual member States, the original 10 amendments are there to limit the power of the Federal Government; and more specifically the chief executive. We should look at the 10th amendment simplistically as the “catch all” amendment. Basically if an issue or power isn’t specifically defined within the Constitution, the federal government doesn’t have the authority to regulate or create laws regarding that issue or power. To correct some of the oversights and unforeseen issues within the Constitution other amendments were added to the Bill of Rights extending the Federal Governments power to include ONLY those additions.

You see; our founding fathers knew what tyranny was, they lived through it, they knew what it was like to live under an oppressive ruler and with these founding documents they tried to protect us from any future despotism. In fact a despotic government was the chief concern of each and every citizen of that time, as it should be today. Many of the original arguments for or against our Constitution were directed at protecting the common citizen from any type of future tyranny; hence the type of government chosen was a Constitutional Republic, where the Constitution with the addition of the Bill of Rights would be the absolute guideline for any decision made by the federal government, and by following these guidelines protect the common citizen from the government.

Each and every bill brought before either the House of Representatives or the Senate needs to be looked at; figuratively of course; through the eyes of our founding fathers; a skill long forgotten by many of our elected representatives in their zeal to please either their party, or their backers. Their only objective appears to be to ensure their re-election.

What I am asking of you my fellow citizens is to keep your representatives feet to the fire; to make sure when your representative proposes any bill, did they ask themselves does the Constitution specifically allow me to make this change?

In the infancy of this country citizens kept a close eye on their representatives, but over the years these representatives have forgotten to ask themselves this important constitutional question, and we as citizens perhaps through the drudgery of life, or simply because we are lazy have neglected to keep an eye on those representatives. The time is now; as citizens of this great Constitutional Republic; to become the watch dog of the Federal Government, and remind our representatives who they serve and by what documents they should base their proposed legislation by.

Our Constitutional Republic no longer exists

This Constitutional Republic has turned into an Oligarchy.

In this country we now have a RULING CLASS and a PEASANT CLASS.

The Ruling class continues to set the rules for us peasants to insure they remain in power, they DON'T listen to the peasants; after all we don't know what is good for us, the RULING CLASS think they know better; yet none of those rules apply to them.

You see the Senate and the House are EXEMPT from the taxes and the requirements of this SENATE health care bill, just like they are EXEMPT from Social Security, in fact when those Low life Republicans tried to amend this bill to require the RULING CLASS to participate, your Democratic Senators and Congressmen unanimously voted AGAINST those amendments.

When are we going to wake up?

How long is it going to take this peasant class to realize that these entitlement programs are designed not to give us a helping hand but to make sure each of us is enslaved, dependent on the government in order to survive.

The Democratic Party and this Administration know this real well and want make sure you peasants are totally dependent on them, because if you depend on them to survive you have to keep them in office; and they get to keep their power, continue to write laws which are designed to remove freedoms, oppress you, and keep you down.

Lets think about the policies of the RULING CLASS for just a minute.

Who was helped by bailing out the banks? Well lets see.....

Big banks donated lots of money to the politicians
Big banks are given money to pay for their greed
Big banks didn’t lend that money to small business' to stay open and boost hiring (that would actually help the peasant class), nope
Mortgages continue to foreclose
This Government has now suggested that they take your home, and require you to pay rent, you can stay in it; with a RULING CLASS Landlord, putting us on the road to serfdom
Big banks gain profits simply by borrowing from the FED at 0% interest and buying Treasury Bills making a cool 3% profit on the peasants money.

I guess that helped out us peasants

Lets move on to the GM Bailout
The RULING CLASS made the statement that GM is too big to fail, so the RULING CLASS pumps billions of the peasants dollars into GM.
GM fails anyway goes into bankruptcy, the RULING CLASS step in; but instead of playing the role of umpire; which would be the proper role in a Constitutional Republic; the RULING CLASS instead takes 60% ownership of the company for the RULING CLASS; then gives the UAW (a big monetary contributor to the RULING CLASS) 39% of the company an amount which was previously worth about $9.5 billion; not bad considering GM only owed the UAW $25 million; not a bad payback for backing the RULING CLASS; the UAW’s reward? about $3.80 for every dollar they were owed;

But what about the secured lenders, you know the peasants who's life savings and retirement funds were supposed to be securely invested well they only got 9 cents on the dollar; after the RULING CLASS got involved.

The peasant class looses again.

Next is the Wall Street bail out; well this one is a little harder to find out information a lot of the dealings are kept secret. But I do know that Goldman Sachs a large contributor to the Democratic party, and more specifically Senator Menendez (D-NJ) and Senator Lautenberg (D-NJ) well they bragged in the UK as to having a RECORD profit year, why you say, well because the policies of this Administration caused "A lack of competition and a surge in revenues from trading foreign currency, bonds and fixed-income products has sent profits at Goldman Sachs soaring, according to insiders at the firm." Main stream media failed to report this here in the US.

Again the peasants are losers

So now with this health care bill;

Well... Who wins here, could it be... the pharmaceutical companies, The RULING CLASS won't allow the importation of generic drugs.

Or maybe its the insurance companies; The RULING CLASS made sure the peasants who do not purchase health insurance are NOW REQUIRED TO or face stiff fines, taxes, and ultimately if taken to the extreme jail time.

How about the lawyers, wait a minute the RULING CLASS is primarily made up of LAWYERS, so you can forget about tort reform, they won't even mention it.

Maybe its the citizens of Nebraska, because the RULING CLASS in order to get the votes necessary made it so the peasants of Nebraska don't have to pay for their states portion of the expansion of Medicaid/Medicare.
or the Senator of Louisiana who was paid off by the RULING CLASS for her vote.

Who else will benefit by this; well the UNIONS of course; because SEIU/UAW and others are not technically employers, and would be exempt from the fines and penalties should they not give or take away their peasants health insurance; especially if any form of RULING CLASS sponsored health insurance is allowed to start. The peasants would be responsible for the health care of the UNIONS, and the UNIONS could just take money from the peasants and keep it, instead of using the peasants money for the good of the peasants.

Also; according to this new bill in the SENATE, most of the benefits start in 2014, but the tax increases start in Jan 2010. Do you really think that the money realized from the taxes are going to sit there and wait for the benefits to kick in? if you do I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale.

The RULING CLASS now are saying its all the Republican’s fault; of course they have to blame someone; the RULING CLASS won’t take responsibility for their actions; In this health care debate the Republican leadership has only been trying to protect your rights;
You know like trying to get the RULING CLASS to participate in the monstrosity they were creating, I am not saying they are perfect, and I’m not saying the Republicans are not in the RULING CLASS, but at least they were trying to wade through the garbage spewed by the RULING CLASS

The Health “CARE” Bill boondoggle

The house released a copy of the proposed “reform” to health care, in a 1018 page bill. Which doesn’t reform health care, it actually should be called the “Health INSURANCE take-over act”;

The first thing I notice is that our “representatives” ( I put this in quotes because these people don’t represent us and do our wishes they represent themselves and the special interests ) tend to confuse health CARE with health INSURANCE. Which are actually two different issues.

There are so many issues within this bill that trouble me I would need an entire BOOK to tell you about it, you should be troubled with it too.

One of the problems I see is that it bails out the Massachusetts “Universal Health Care” System by taking on its debt. If “Universal Health Care” is supposed to save money why would we need to bail out the MA plan? Simple answer the system doesn’t work for Massachusetts. The cost of health care in MA is sky rocketing to the point where the Federal Government has had to bail it out more than once.

One of the first thing I noticed was the “NEW” bureaucracy it creates, lets take a look at who is going to run this boondoggle. It all looks fine on paper however it gives the “President” unlimited power over the “Health INSURANCE Industry”, all of the members of this board are either directly or indirectly, politically appointed by the POTUS. This is the FIRST of several bureaucracies instituted by this bill.

Health Care Advisory Board would consist of:

SEC. 123. HEALTH BENEFITS ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The Surgeon General – A Presidential political appointee

9 members who are not Federal employees or officers and who are appointed by the President.

9 members who are not Federal employees or officers and who are appointed by the Comptroller General ( A Presidential political appointee) of the United States.

Such even number of members (not to exceed 8) who are Federal employees and officers, as the President may appoint

These political appointees will be responsible for setting health insurance “STANDARDS”

The Health Benefits Advisory Committee
shall recommend to the Secretary of Health and Human Services (in this subtitle referred to as the ‘‘Secretary’’) benefit standards (as defined in paragraph (4)), and periodic updates to such standards.

including categories of covered treatments, items and services within benefit classes, and cost-sharing; and (B) the cost-sharing levels for enhanced plans and premium plans (as provided under 14 section 203(c)) consistent with paragraph (5)

And like in Massachusetts the effect of this will be:

Costs have risen for individuals because, under this plan, as under any mandatory insurance scheme, the government must define what constitutes an acceptable insurance policy. As a result, special interest groups have been given both the incentive and the means to lobby politicians to include their pet benefits as part of the government-approved plan. Consequently, the state government requires all patients to purchase “benefits” that are useless to many of them—benefits they would never voluntarily choose to purchase in a free market. For example, Massachusetts currently requires insurance plans to include forty-three mandatory benefits, including in vitro fertilization, blood lead poisoning treatment, and chiropractor services—whether or not customers want them. Residents must purchase alcoholism therapy benefits, even if they are teetotalers. These mandated benefits have raised the costs of health insurance in Massachusetts by 23 to 56 percent.

It also provides changes to the Internal Revenue Service to do the following:

So, who is it that decides what is or isn’t acceptable? You guessed it directly or indirectly the “PRESIDENTIAL POLITICAL APOINTEES”. Do you REALLY get to keep the plan you are happy with? Not if it doesn’t meet political standards.

Raising taxes for just the rich? I don’t thing so, not according to the verbiage of this bill, so how much taxes will YOU pay?

a tax equal to 2.5 percent of the excess of the taxpayer’s modified adjusted gross income for the taxable year, over (2) the amount of gross income specified in 4 section 6012(a)(1) with respect to the taxpayer.The Bill, page 168

And how is your employer effected?

In the case of any employer who fails (during any period with respect to which the election under subsection (a) is in effect) to satisfy the health coverage participation requirements with respect to any employee to whom such election applies, there is hereby imposed on each such failure with respect to each such employee a tax of $100 for each day in the period beginning on the date such failure first occurs and ending on the date such failure is corrected.The Bill, page 181

This Government take over of the health insurance industry goes on and on.

The atrocities this bill represents is insulting to the American people because this bill is nothing more than another take over by a government out of control.

I AM DEMANDING THAT MY REPRESENTATIVES READ THE DAMN BILL, AND STOP THIS MADNESS.

WE ALL NEED TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND STOP THIS BLANTENT CORRUPTION OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES.

A Case Against the “Government Plan”

I know you mean well, but you are not looking at the bigger picture here.

First off you are confusing health insurance with health care, the "health care system in the USA is the best in the world ( all of the top twenty four hospitals in the world are in the USA")

The cost of health care will rise should a government run health insurance system be instituted;

Here is why:

Your doctor, who normally charges say 100 dollars for an office visit, under the current situation makes only about 41 dollars after expenses. Now the government steps in ( as it does with Medicaid and Medicare right now ) mandates these doctors have to take government plan patients, and says we are only going to pay 40 dollars because that is what we feel its worth for that visit (this happens right now). The doctors expenses are still 59 dollars per visit, so seeing a government patient is effectively the equivalent of giving each person who comes into the office under the government plan a 20 dollar bill.

Right now doctors and hospitals simply increase the fees on the people who have non-government health insurance so they can break even on the patients who have government health insurance; Hospitals also charge insurance companies for the cost of the people who have "charity care" ( did you ever wonder why is costs 5 dollars for an aspirin? )

So the "patient" who doesn't have government health insurance has to pay 119 dollars for their visit or should I say the insurance company has to pay for the visit.

As more and more people are put on the government plan, the doctor charges more and more to the people who pay for their insurance so they can break even.

The insurance company who also need to show a profit as well; who by the way are eating the cost of the government plan right NOW; raises health insurance costs on the people/companies who pay them to cover their costs.

Your employer who currently pays a good portion of your health insurance sees more and more increases in health insurance costs for their employees. Right now they are getting a tax deduction to help them defray that cost.

The government decides that they will no longer allow a tax deduction to help pay for the cost of private health insurance, and why should they; they offer a plan, secondly the government decides (as suggested by the Obama admin ) to tax the people getting private health insurance to cover the costs of the government plan.

Now the people receiving private health insurance are paying for the government plan through income taxes on their private insurance, and the companies no longer get an incentive to provide you with insurance also to pay for the government plan.

They ( the employers ) have to make a decision, do I continue to provide health insurance for my employees and increase the cost of my goods, so I can make a profit? or do I eliminate the health insurance benefit to my employees? They are all good loyal employees but the cost of providing quality health care is killing my profits, I no longer get a tax incentive to provide it, and my employees are taxed, besides my share holders are screaming “make a profit”.

Wait a minute, the government provides health insurance (government option) and all I have to do for my employees to have health insurance is to stop providing it and pay a small "fine" each quarter and they get health insurance government provided, it may not be as good as the one I provided, but they get the insurance.

Do you see how this is a slippery slope, more patients go on the govt plan, the higher premiums go, the higher the premiums are, the more companies force people into getting the government plan. It goes on and on and on.... Finally when the doctors government insurance patients outnumber the ones with private insurance, doctors who spend small fortunes for their education get out of the business and new doctors are reluctant to get into the field because the money isn't worth doing it, especially when you don't even make enough money to cover the cost of schooling.

Thus; no more competition and the government plan is the only one available, this won't happen over night, but it will happen.

We got a hint of that cause and effect when this administration hinted about paying the educational bills of recent graduates.

Now don't get me wrong; you will get some people who will get into the health care industry just because they are humanitarians, and don't care about the money. But a good portion of the good doctors will either get out of the business, or move to a country that will allow them to make money. Like Taiwan which by the way has the 25th best hospital in the world, and the cost of living is cheaper.

Don't trust this analogy... research Massachusetts Universal health system, see for yourself how that system is working for the people of Massachusetts.

The other thing you probably don't realize is that the numbers Obama quoted in his "health care infomercial" or announced in his speech are all crap. As I already stated in my reply to Senator Menendez’s Blog on Huffington Post

You are being lead down a path that you appear to be advocating based on half truths and outright lies.

Now do you understand that having a government plan isn't going to solve the rising cost of health care, nor is it going to "promote" competition.

I don't want you to trust my analogy; do the research, find this information out for yourself.

I sent a letter to Congressman LoBiondo, expressing my disappointment on his choice to vote for H.R. 2454, the Atlantic County Republicans sent me this:

"American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009"

U.S. Congressman Frank A. LoBiondo (NJ-02) today voted in favor of H.R. 2454, the “American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009” – comprehensive legislation that seeks to make the United States energy independent by focusing the nation’s energy policy toward clean, renewable sources such as wind, solar and nuclear.

Well there is a little problem with this first statement, no where within that bill was "NUCLEAR" power addressed. That bill does however manipulate almost every agency within the United States Government, giving those Agencies more control over all of your lives(see the chart), and according to a Heritage Foundation Analysis will increase your taxes, cause the United States as a whole to lose jobs.

Reduce aggregate gross domestic product (GDP) by $7.4 trillion,
Destroy 844,000 jobs on average, with peak years seeing unemployment rise by over 1,900,000 jobs,
Raise electricity rates 90 percent after adjusting for inflation,
Raise inflation-adjusted gasoline prices by 74 percent,
Raise residential natural gas prices by 55 percent,
Raise an average family's annual energy bill by $1,500, and
Increase inflation-adjusted federal debt by 29 percent, or $33,400 additional federal debt per person, again after adjusting for inflation.

The statement goes on to say:

For South Jersey residents who lived through the energy crisis of the 1970s, the nation witnessed the rationing of gas, stations sold-out of fuel, and our country’s absolute reliance on foreign nations to save us from our increasing consumption. Jobs were lost. The economy sank further into recession. And the nation did not take action.

Where were these people during the 70’s? Oil Shortages and rationing of gasoline was caused by several things, our governments tariff on imported oil, keeping a ceiling on domestic oil prices, and the fact that we as a nation supported Israel in the Yom Kippur war, OPEC “punished” us for our support by imposing an embargo.
What isn’t mentioned here is that in the 1980’s President Carter imposed a windfall profit tax on domestically generated oil, which in effect reduced the amount of oil production in the United States and increased our dependency on foreign oil.

Congressional Research Service also found the windfall profits tax had the effect of decreasing domestic production by 3 percent to 6 percent, thereby increasing American dependence on foreign oil sources by 8 percent to 16 percent. A side effect was declining, not increasing, tax collections. Figure 1 clearly shows that while the tax raised considerable revenue in the initial years following its enactment, those revenues declined to almost nothing as the domestic industry collapsed.

It then goes on to say:

Then, in the 1990s, there was a bitter debate over increasing fuel efficiency standards in automobiles, yet minimal action was taken despite the technological capabilities to go further. I have long said that if Congress had passed higher standards in the 1990s – standards I supported - then our consumption and annual fuel costs now would be half. However, the oil corporations and automobile makers were against such standards and now lose billions of dollars to foreign competitors who were forward-thinking, developed fuel efficient technologies and sell hybrid vehicles that get 40 to 50 miles per gallon.

But you also have to remember that during that time period, while Congress was “debating” over the standards, they were also voting to stop any drilling in Alaska, From 1990 to 2003, Congress annually voted to prohibit oil and natural gas drilling in the region

The ‘American Clean Energy and Security Act’ is the opportunity to break the cycle of inaction and finally move our nation towards real energy independence.

Energy Independence can only be achieved when we drill domestically, produce nuclear energy, start developing “Shale Oil” refineries, and stop relying on outside sources for our oil.

moderate estimate of 800 billion barrels of recoverable oil from oil shale in the Green River Formation is three times greater than the proven oil reserves of Saudi Arabia

This bill doesn’t make us independent, it puts us right were the Chinese, Russians, an Indians want us, at a disadvantage; because folks, those countries don’t care about the silly junk science driving our politicians. Who by the way will make fortunes if this bill is signed into law (but that a subject for another day). So in order for United States companies to be competitive and make a profit more of these companies will move offshore, and we will pay the price.

This is by no means a perfect bill but, for New Jersey businesses and families, many of the federal standards that will be created are mirroring state standards long on the books. For the past decade, New Jersey has been forward-looking in its energy policy and sought to establish diverse, renewable alternative sources of energy to meet the state’s needs. From the development of biofuels based on crop waste and planning for additional nuclear reactors, to building small and large-scale wind farms and countless solar panel projects, individuals and municipalities recognized opportunities and took action.

“many of the federal standards that will be created are mirroring state standards long on the books” I had to pull that statement out of the comment, and he is right here, New Jersey has decided to follow the “California” standard which is bankrupting our state, killing jobs, and continuing to push business’ out of state. And for that reason alone he should have voted against this bill. We as voting “taxpayers” need to take back our state, stop these silly campaigns to mimic California’s failed policies. I remember my father telling me when I wanted to do something stupid, “Just because your friends want to jump off a bridge doesn’t mean you have to”; So I’m saying here just because Californians want to screw up their economy and bankrupt their state doesn’t mean we have to. Remember this bill IMPOSES California regulations on the rest of the country.

In the process, new local businesses were founded and jobs were created in the emerging ‘green industry’ here in New Jersey. What must happen next is the growth of domestic manufacturing of the materials needed for alternative energy production, such as solar cells, wind turbines and environmentally-friendly buildings. This legislation rightly focuses on growing that manufacturing base, creating green jobs and finally establishing our energy independence. The positive effects will be felt nationally and here in South Jersey. These are objectives I have long believed and advocated for as part of a national energy policy.

Consider this, President Obama used Spain as an example of the “Green Industry” a report by the Institute for Energy Research:

The following represent some of the study’s key findings:

The U.S. can expect 2.2 jobs to be destroyed for every 1 renewable job financed by the government.
Only 1 in 10 of the jobs actually created through green investment is permanent.
Since 2000, Spain has spent €571,138 ($753,778) to create each “green job,” including subsidies of more than €1 million ($1,319,783) per wind industry job.
Those programs resulted in the destruction of nearly 113,000 jobs elsewhere in the economy.
Each “green” megawatt installed destroyed 5.39 jobs in non-energy sectors of the Spanish economy.
The total over-cost—the amount paid over the cost that would result from buying the electricity generated by the renewable power plants at market prices—between 2000 and 2008 amounts to 7,918.54 million Euros ($10 billion).
The total subsidy spent and committed to these three renewable sources amounts to €28,671 million ($36 billion).
Consumer energy costs in Spain would have to be increased 31 percent to repay the debt generated by the green jobs subsidies.

Do we really want to do this to both our Country and our State?

The economic crisis has affected every resident and every small business in South Jersey. Families and employers are making difficult decisions each day and they are looking to Congress for assistance and leadership. In working through this comprehensive bill, I heard from South Jersey business owners, manufacturers and energy producers, consumer and environmental groups and local residents about the real impact specific provisions of the bill would have. I also reviewed emails and phone opinions that came into my offices, which numbered in the hundreds.

Yep, and the solution to our economic crisis doesn’t have to involve increasing our taxes, increasing the cost of “everything” (remember our food gets to market via trucks and items need to be manufactured), increasing our dependency on oil, hog tying the states ability to make their own laws.

I don’t know who called, or E-Mailed Congressmen LoBiondo asking for more taxes and more restrictions on their lives. No one I talked to wanted this mess, not liberals, not independents or conservatives;

Today’s vote was by no means an easy vote. As the legislation continues to work through the Senate and be presented to Congress for final consideration, I will re-evaluate any changes that are made to ensure our state’s interests, as well as the interests of South Jersey businesses and families, are promoted and protected.

The only way to protect the South Jersey businesses and families from total destruction was to vote against, and defeat this bill.

I plan on writing to Both Senator Lautenberg and Senator Menendez but don’t expect too much; they follow the “Party Line”.

But if enough of you write to them maybe they will wake up, fear for their jobs and stop this nonsense before its too late.

I have a nagging question; When are people going to realize that the Democrats don't care about the little guy, they only care about themselves.

They will say anything to get what THEY want, lying to the general public.

H.R. 2454 or the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009

First of all there is Nancy Pelosi:
Her campaign received 10$ from the National Cable & Telecommunications Assn, guess who these people really are... Well they are "GE" who stands to make a fortune if the bill makes it into law.

How about "personal wealth"; There is the Clean Energy Fuels Corp that she is invested in, the stocks on this company currently are running about $9 dollars a share; however if this bill is signed into law, the potential to make millions is there. Pelosi is a shareholder in Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE) and purchased between $50K - $100K in shares on May 25th . Then there is her purchase of between $50k - $100k worth of shares in GE, another company positioned to make trillions if this bill passes.

So is she looking out for you??? or is she really looking to line her pockets with your money?

Now we have Rep. Waxman; this is a man who doesn't even know what is in a bill HE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE WRITTEN

So what do you think is in it for him?
Well for starters his second biggest campaign contributor is National Cable & Telecommunications Assn, well of course its none other than GE.

Is he looking out for you? or again just positioning himself to line his pockets with your money.

Next is Rep Markey:
Low and behold National Cable & Telecommunications Assn contributed to his campaign too. Imagine that.

You really have to ask yourself are these people really working for YOU???? or are they really trying to pick your pockets?

Open Letter to Congressmen LoBiondo

Sir, I don't know what motivated you to sell out the American people and more specifically your constituents today by voting FOR the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009,” H.R. 2454 commonly known as Cap and Trade bill.

Not a single person I talked to here in South Jersey wanted that bill passed, conservate or liberal alike; we simply can't afford the additional taxes, and destruction of jobs which will occur. A lot of them I bet will be in the Aviation Industry, which I though you were a proponent of.

I hope the gains you might have gotten for selling your constituents out were well worth our vote in the next election. As the minority leader of your own party said, this will be a defining moment, the people, who you are supposed to represent will remember this come election day.

Paradoxically, enrollment dropped slightly last month, because the state has begun disqualifying people who became ineligible because of changes in income or access to other insurance. ..."Healthcare reform is not sustainable financially and it's also not sustainable politically if the best we can do is more taxpayer money and shifting costs to consumers," said Nancy Turnbull, an associate dean at the Harvard School of Public Health and member of the connector board. "We have to find other ways [to raise money and control costs] and we have to find them very quickly."

With longer waits, lobbyists contributing to candidates who include in the legislation coverage that is un-necessary, Government Interference ( bureaucrats who dictate who gets what and when). Their doctor/lab/services fees are rising more than the national average, the quality of care is lower. A report by the Mass. Government just recently suggested that to correct this problem they need to limit coverage and/or raise taxes. And the fees for private insurance has spiked in that state as well.

You claim that your introducing "choice" into the equation; Your not introducing choice, your allowing your union contributors to dump their health care onto the government and make all of us pay for it..

Tell me sir; how does a private insurance company compete with the federal government when all the government has to do is print more money to cover its fiscal irresponsibility; this country has seen way too much fiscal irresponsibility, the SPENDING NEEDS TO STOP.

Its not the Republicans who are trying to scare the general public its the Democrats with their false claims of the number of Americans without health insurance. You see sir, I can read and I actually read the report Democrats are getting their information from.

First of all, take the 47 million Americans number, that number is WRONG to begin with, there are 47 million "PEOPLE" in the US who are uninsured, 10 million of those people are Illegal (criminal) immigrants, roughly 17 million are people who can afford health insurance but refuse to buy it, leaving us with 20 million people, and according to the CBO 45% of those individuals are between jobs and will get health insurance within a year. This leaves us with about 8.3 million people without insurance at this time, not counting the people who just didn't sign up for the current health care already offered by the government.

So you see sir, you are willing to sacrifice the 200 million people in the United States just for a little less than 2% of the population, you and this administration need to stop paying off voters with tax payer dollars.

Sir, as a voting citizens of the State of New Jersey, We are watching you, We see how you are following party lines rather than listening to the people who put you there. You claim that you listen to family after family; your circle of families must be very limited; I personally have emailed you as have a few of my friends; you have yet to respond one way or the other to any of us, is that because we disagree with you?.
Sir, I suggest you start listening to the people of your state and not democratic party.

Is there any shady back rooms deals going on, perhaps not; you decide.

Ten bucks says Goldman Sachs is backing Jon Corzine in his bid to be re-elected in New Jersey.

Will the Republican's make them follow their own rules?

The First StepUnderstanding the current political climate

We have a situation in today's political realm where the left-wing Democratic party in general, and the Obama administration in particular are bombarding us with so many issues, so fast, in so many directions, it makes your head spin. I have become so frustrated with "MY" government that, in the infamous words of Glenn Beck it makes blood shoot out of my eyes.

How do we as Conservatives deal with radical left wing liberals?

Our first step is to understand the tactics the ideological left are employing.
By understanding these tactics we can effectively counter their attacks.

You have to also understand, the left play on peoples EMOTIONS, and not on logic or facts in these debates.

The Democrats and this Administration are defiantly following Saul Alinsky's rules for Radicals

Rule One

Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.

Rule Two

Never go outside the expertise of your people.

When an action or tactic is outside the experience of the people, the result is confusion, fear and retreat.... [and] the collapse of communication.

I feel the best counter to this tactic is to keep the left on focus, you are there to deal with one issue and one issue only, when they go off subject, politely; but firmly refocus the debate. I have noticed during my debates with left wing ideologists they tend to bring up other subjects or point to something that wasn't an issue at the time.
You will notice here the left wing activist, and part time actress going off subject by pointing out "other issues" rather than staying on the issue at hand, when the person doing the interview brings her back to the subject, she denies having said what she said.

How do we counter this, focus, focus, focus remember these people are emotional, and become confused very easily. When the debate doesn't go their way, they try to change the subject. Keep them on task!

Rule Three

Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.

Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.
Again; remember focus focus, keep them on task, don't let them change the subject. If they try refocus the debate to the original subject at hand.

Rule Four

Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.

You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity."
Remember this goes both ways

Rule Five

Ridicule is man's most potent weapon.

It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
The best defense to this tactic is to recognize it for what it is; and don't play their game. They are specifically looking to get a rise out of you. They are looking to get you to the point where you blow your cool. Once this tactic is identified, call it what it is; but don't play into it.

Rule Six

A good tactic is one your people enjoy

This isn't really a tactic, it appears to be a means to control their troops. We should follow this "tactic" as well. I find it very amusing when the person I am debating at the time, stutters, gets upset, has a temper tantrum.

Recently I was debating this administrations current spending policies with a co-worker. His defense to my opinion was (as typical) it was all George W Bush's fault, he spent so much money in the past eight years it got us into this mess; I stopped the debate and with a very simple statement

"So let me get this straight, Bush's spending was an error; right?"
he replied "Yes it was"
"Ok, so I'll admit, that Bush's spending WAS an error; Now that we have established that his spending was in error, This administration in order to fix that error is quadrupling that error? Does that really make sense to you?"

At this point in time, my debate opponent flew into a rage, and walked away. He had no defense to my comments.

So lets have some fun with this, and as long as your factually correct, the left has no real defense.

Rule Seven

A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.

Man can sustain militant interest in any issue for only a limited time....
Here we should keep them on their task, they will soon tire of it

Rule Eight

Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions,
and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.

We need to follow this tactic, see my explaination for rule 10.

Rule Nine

The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself, FDR; Words well spoken, here we need to eliminate the fear; fear is perpetuated with a lack of knowledge. We need to enlighten the general public with true facts. Remember everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but NOT THEIR OWN FACTS.

Rule Ten

The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.

It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.

Here we need to focus, I think we should create a central "PUBLIC" website, something with an easy to remember address, and as each individual issue is presented, the main website, should then have a link to that issue, our point of view on these issues should be explained in easy to understand language.
Sometimes we forget not everyone understands what we are saying.

Along with this we need to "assign" an individual an expert in the field; weather it be a "doctor for health care", or a "prominent legal immigrant for border control/illegal immigration" .

Then every time this issue is addressed by the opposition, our spokes person should then hold a press conference to do two things report on the facts and secondly to tell people where they can get more information (advertise our website).

Weather we want to believe it or not we live in a digital age, lets utilize this tool to the best of our advantage.

These individuals should be fully briefed on how to STAY FOCUSED. When a reporter goes off subject, politely but firmly regain focus.

These individuals do not have to necessarily be politicians. Remember they should be experts in the field of the issue they represent.

Rule Eleven

If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside... every positive has its negative.

Rule Twelve

The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.

Rule Thirteen

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

In conflict tactics there are certain rules that [should be regarded] as universalities. One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and 'frozen.'...

"...any target can always say, 'Why do you center on me when there are others to blame as well?' When your 'freeze the target,' you disregard these [rational but distracting]arguments....
Then, as you zero in and freeze your target and carry out your attack, all the 'others' come out of the woodwork very soon.
They become visible by their support of the target...'
"One acts decisively only in the conviction that all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other." (pps.127-134)

Remember I am not a political analyst, so I may be wrong on this subject, there may be better ideas on how to counter these rules for radicals. I just looked at these rules and with some common sense thought of ways to counter their effects.

Principles

I. Illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I'm not a racist. This isn't to be confused with legal immigration.

II. TARP. I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

III. Czars. I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.

IV. Cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.

V. Universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down!

VI. Growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don't you start there.

VII. ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

VIII. Redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? What do you have against shareholders making a profit?

IX. Charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

X. Corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band%u2011Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

XI. Transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try %u2011%u2011 please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

XII. Unprecedented spending. Stop it now. Take a breath. Listen to the people.

The numbers simply don't add up

We all have been inundated with figures from the Obama administration about how in this country we have 46 million "Americans" who simply are not covered with health care.

Well I have to tell you, that figure is simply a lie to scare the population.

According to the Latest US Census Bureau Report

There are 46 Million "PEOPLE" in the United States without health insurance

In the infamous words of John McCain "My friends" that is a lie, let me tell you why!

Lets look at this figure ( 46 Million "people" )

Approximately 10 Million of those are "Illegal Immigrants"
Let me stress "ILLEGAL" we shouldn't be paying for their health insurance to
begin with. This isn't a racist statement, they came into this country by breaking our laws, we shouldn't be responsible for their health.
About 17 Million of those can afford health insurance but choose not to have it. The most common excuse for not getting it are "I'm healthy and don't want it"

Now that leaves us with about 19 million people.

According to the CBO about 45% of those people will within 4 months have health insurance because of a job transition.

This leaves us with about 8.5 Million Americans who are actually without health insurance at this point in time.

So you see, the numbers here are used to frighten you and to advance an agenda

"Torture Photos" Actual consern or left wing smoke screen?

Yesterday, a major conflict between Madam Speaker and a number of house representatives hit the news. Apparently Madam Speaker doesn't want verbiage within a $100 billion supplemental spending for the war in Afghanistan and operations in Iraq which will stop all attempts of the so called "Torture Photos" from being released.

Senators Call on Obama to Resolve Dispute With Pelosi Over 'Torture Photos'

There is a great big to do about it, most News agencies are covering this issue.

But what is really going on?

With the flick of a pen Obama could very well stop this controversy dead in its tracks; yet He doesn't.

So far this administration as well as the Democrats on the hill have been doing two things

1. Following Alinsky's Rules for radicals

In this case they are following rule #8

RULE 8: "Keep the pressure on. Never let up." Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. (Attack, attack, attack from all sides, never giving the reeling organization a chance to rest, regroup, recover and re-strategize.)

There always seems to be some "NEW" controversy, which takes the public's eyes off the ball.

Is this the next "distraction"? Remember he is pushing for "Health Care" reform.

2. Practicing the art of "Prestidigitation";

1. Performance of or skill in performing magic or conjuring tricks with the hands; sleight of hand.
2. A show of skill or deceitful cleverness.

With the public being distracted; items can be easily "buried" into bills on the hill that during normal circumstances we would be up at arms about.

Let's face it this issue concerns all of us and we all want to ensure the safety of our brave military personnel. But keep in mind the strategy the ideological left is employing at this point.
