How to "Fill Up" Silences When Talking to a Woman On Dates...

During a one-on-one outing with a lady, if the entire date is
plagued with silences and "empty spaces"... then I'm sure you know
deep inside that chances of the girl being interested is close to
zero.

It sucks especially if that is the 1ST date.

Because if the first date is just chat... stop... chat... stop...
then often times, a woman will NOT want such boredom to repeat
another time (otherwise known as "NO 2ND DATE").

Let's talk about how do we prevent such an outcome then.

One of the many "hidden weapons" I use to stomp silences on dates
is - Bring up a SCENARIO and talk about it.

The key here is to bring up an incident in life (a scenario),
relate it to the woman and get her thoughts on it...

... And one of the best scenarios comes from - "Other People's
Relationships".

It may be a dramatic relationship issue involving a third party:
Your friends, cousins, colleagues, or some stranger you hardly knew.

Here's how to apply it.

While talking to the woman, when you "detect" an empty space
coming, or a silent pause had just begun, you can just lead
smoothly into a scenario, and break out of a silence by saying to
her:

"Recently, there's something crazy that happened to my
(friend/cousin/old classmate). I'll tell you what happened... and I
bet you're going to shake your head after hearing it."

Then you relate an "Other People's Relationships" Scenario to her.

Let me kick off 3 scenarios to give you some ideas -

Scenario 1) "This female classmate I knew from old schooldays
wanted to audition for Singapore Idol. And her boyfriend threatened
to break up with her because he never liked showbiz... thinking
it's all fake glamour and phony people. So let's say it happened to
you... what will you do if you are her?"

Scenario 2) "It's this old army friend I knew. He liked Jay Chou a
lot and he planned to go to the concert. At first, he wanted his
girlfriend to go with him... but her schedule doesn't allow it. So
in the end, he asked a lady friend to go and guess what? His
girlfriend knew about it, kicked up a fuss and demanded he go to
the concert by himself... not with that lady. So now he's already
bought the tickets and is stuck with an angry girlfriend. What do
you think he should do?"

Scenario 3) "This couple I know had been together for 5 years. They
both have the same "lovers tattoo" on their ankles but lately, the
girl went to enhance the tattoo with extra designs without telling
the guy. When the guy saw it, he was upset and told the girl her
tattoo is no longer something that signify their love... since it
looked different now. The girl then suggest him to enhance his
tattoo to look like hers. But he refused flatly. So... who's right
and who's wrong in this case?"

Once again, rid silence moments by placing a scenario into the
interaction, then get her view on it.

(Conversations will re-generate from there)

In all, the above is just ONE tactic to keep the conversation

What to Do 15 Seconds BEFORE You Approach a Woman...

Here's a brief tale (perhaps you can find it close to what you've
experienced) -

A guy is at a public place and the scene is great for socializing.

He sees a lady who looked friendly to talk to... and he can walk up
anytime now...

... but as that is happening, a "hold back" happens.

He starts to have "THOUGHTS" or a voice in his head calling out
"Wait, this type of girls usually have boyfriends." or "She
probably don't want to talk now."

That thing in his head causes the "Want/ Don't Want" internal
struggle, that ends up with him staying at his same spot rather
than going up to have a conversation.

Then when he went home, he starts thinking "I could have, I should
have, I would have done this...".

The End.

From a bigger view, there are so many times where guys could just
spring into action with an approach, that leads to the woman
chatting.

But it was pulled back ONLY seconds before it can happen...

... because some thought or voice suddenly jumps out in the head.

And every day in Singapore, many approaches on women (that didn't
happen) went unused.

So...

How to reduce this "pull back" that happens in the last moments
before you're ready to approach?

A neat tactic a mentor once taught me, is to make the "Inner
Critic" (the discouraging thoughts or voice in your head) become a
CHARACTER.

(That's right. You're going to take the invisible stuff holding
back your victories with women, and turn it into a character.)

- Give this "Inner Critic" character a name.
- Define how he (may even be a 'she') looked like.
- Know how this "Inner Critic" behave.

Perhaps this "Inner Critic" character is a younger or 'less cool'
version of yourself. Maybe it's not even a human (one of my friend
describes his Inner Critic as a masked creature).

Try to identify yours now. Reason being - you can easily deal with
it in case it springs up again, during critical moments before you
walk up to a cute gal.

As an example, my own Inner Critic is named "Zero". Whenever
Zero tries to critic or discourage me in my mind, I'll mock him
playfully... even to the extend of making him cry.

Do the same with your Inner Critic as well. Slam any discouraging
messages back.

For instance, you're about to walk up and talk to a gal. Your Inner
Critic goes, "Don't do it. She may have a boyfriend."

Then you can TALK BACK to your Inner Critic - "Maybe. But I'd
rather talk to her and find out for myself. You don't have to
approach. I'll be doing it and you can just hide in a hole and
watch."

Or when you're in a bookstore and ready to talk to a gal. The Inner
Critic goes, "Eh, she's looking at books and if you talk to her,
you will disturb her."

Go ahead and shoot back "If I'm disturbing her, that's for her to
tell me. NOT you. So go jerk off somewhere while I'm man enough to
attempt things you don't dare to."

You may choose to be less aggressive. You may not want to "bully",
that's cool. As a suggestion, just take on a HIGHER position and
pin down your Inner Critic from throwing messages that can block you
from meeting women.

Use it. You'll be surprised that when the "Girl-getting mental
foundation" of a man is concrete, the tactics and gambits he used
from there automatically becomes smooth.

Has this happened to you?

One typical day between Monday to Friday, you think to yourself you

In other words, by making yourself accountable, your "heightened

state" to progress with the opposite sex will sustain itself.

I can never forget how I initially started out, I find myself

having 'on and off' inactivty in knowing and dating women.

Luckily...

... having met some masterful men who are good in this area, I

"reported" to them what I wanted to do... and how much of it I had

done.

That alone kept the 'fire' up and inactivity down. It's a BIG

component to dating success.

Again it's because...

"In the presence of being answerable to another person, one can

If you make an observation...

- It's NOT the most good-looking guy who gets the most attractive
girl.

- It's NOT the tallest guy who gets the prettiest lady.

- And it's definitely NOT the nicest guy who gets the most
nice-faced gal.

Instead...

Usually the guy who succeeds in the above scenarios...

...is one who owns a HIGH ABILITY to combine 'what to say' with
'what to do' to make women magnetized to him.

And what to say or do to attract a woman is generated as a result
of his "core".

Let's talk about that.

Simply put, the "core" is a set of rules of how a person lives out
his male/female interaction, dating and girl-getting.

It's the STARTING POINT of any action or (non-action) that
determines how far a man can become successful with women.

For instance, one male can be single and lonely for many years
because his "core" is made up of rules that says - "Good things
happen to those who wait" or "All the good girls are already taken
so why even try?".

That made him decay or NOT want to do something about his situation.

On the other hand...

Another male can attain closeness and intimacy with his type of
attractive lady because his "core" is made up of a rule saying -
"This lady is going to end up with someguy in the future. I might
as well be that guy."

Going back to the beginning of this letter, if one's "core" says he

I'd like to give you an idea that can INCREASE the amount of
bonding you have with a woman the next time you're out on a date.

But first, let's 'investigate' what typically goes on during dates
for most of the guys out there.

Usually, a man and a woman's date will involve a lot of 'sitting'.
It's often a restaurant where they sit and chat.

Once they're done, they'll move on to another place, say a cafe and
sit again... repeating the process.

And I haven't even mentioned about watching movies in a cinema...
another 'sitting session'.

There's nothing wrong with 'sit and chat' of course. However, it
is certainly wrong if it's the ONLY type of interactivity a man
ultilizes on the date.

What I'm suggesting is you need to ADD a deeper form of interaction
with women on dates. Other than sitting down, you can move around
with her... you get involved in choosing things with her... you
belong to a little 'own world' with her.

One suggestion is shopping. But hold on, I'm suggesting...

...NOT just plain shopping. There's a difference between 'passive
shopping' and 'active shopping' when you're on a date.

And 'active shopping' is the one that gets you results.

Put it simply, 'passive shopping' is just go to a store with a gal,
look around and get out.

"Active shopping' is when you enter a shop, you toy around with the
stuff inside with your date, you try things on for one another, you

idea is still the same...

... which is - When you and a girl are 'active shopping' from place

did a lot of things together with you. The amount of connection

Go ahead and use the suggested activity. And I recommend combining

I'm a bit reluctant to write you this e-letter because while
reading it, it's easy to mistaken me as a person who encourages the
'dark side of human being' to jump out.

That's not my intention but as you may have noticed around you,
there's a 'breed' of man who ladies tend to be attracted to or
stick with...

... he's conventionally called the 'bad boy' or the 'not-so-nice
guy'.

Call such a man whichever way but the fact remains -
Such men with a 'taint of badness' have more desirable female
activity around them.

Let's define first - a bad boy is NOT a bad person.

In the "real-world sense", the word 'bad' when describing a man,
brings up associations of a guy who abuses dogs or holds a bunch of
criminal records.

In the "attraction sense", 'bad' is NOT about nastiness or
ill-doing. It's just a guy who gives women a perceived feeling of
"thrill".

Another way to phrase it (as described to me by a female) is such
men are "naughty in a charming way".

An example: I've a friend who was such a person. We knew each other
in the same leisure group I joined years back, and while he has a

From what I experienced, succeeding with women is a process of...

- Place the CONDITIONS that cause attraction in women to happen.
- Remove & don't (unknowingly) put "blocks" that obstruct the
dating process.

One such block is the "hard to get" component in the female's mind.
And often times, it may get triggered unconsciously.

A few things can cause that...

"Hard to Get" Trigger #1: When a guy "chases"

For men who had figured the dating code out, they wonder why other
guys need to "do the chasing".

Instinctively they understand chasing is counter-productive because
the more one chases, the more a woman repels.

So instead of chasing, create "conditions of attraction" with your
projected personality and your dialogue with the girl.

Main thing is to cause her to be INTO you, and NOT treat dating as
"go in for the kill" like what most guys are doing.

Let's face it, when you get a girl to become interested in you,

Why Impressing A Girl Doesn't Work (and What Does)...

There's an old question that lurks in the mind of guys in Singapore
for decades. And it's still lurking today...

It's the question of - Should a guy "impress the girl" or "attract
the girl"?

Let's define these two...

"Impress" is about a guy convincing the lady with either gifts,
flowers or objects of value. This also involves him showing the
lady effort (usually a huge amount) being put in, with the purpose
of having her feel touched by his actions and develop feelings for
him.

"Attract" is about a guy setting up certain conditions to let the
lady know of the "man qualities" he possess. Combined with that, he
applies knowledge of physical and emotional "know-hows" to guide
the lady to have pleasurable feelings about him, herself and the
entire dating dynamics between them.

Ok, I bet you've heard of different examples where guys got the
girl through these two ways. Some buy stuff for girl and got her,
others focus on having the girl feel irresistably drawn to him and
got her also.

Which one would be a better path to follow?

My view ---

For a long time I cannot believe this... but over the years,
evidences had revealed that when you make a lady become attracted
to you, whether you buy her gifts or not doesn't make a difference.
She'll like you anyhow.

like the gift caused it. BUT NO... the girls actually like them in

True story: One dude tried 'chasing' my female cousin by folding

can, he sacrificed all he can for her.

Eventually, my cousin did not go with him and went with another guy
instead. In her own words - "Any guy can fold paper stars. Any guy
can spend cash to buy presents. But not all guys can make me FEEL
something when I'm with him."

To quote another woman I chatted with last month, she said, "If a
guy showers me with gifts and hopes to impress me, he actually
comes across as trying too hard. If I don't feel anything for him
in the first place, every single gifts he gave is like begging me
to 'change my mind'. But I won't."

guy who concentrates on attracting the girl shows himself as being
comfortable in front of her. He DOESN'T show he's trying too hard.

So your main focus must be on "kick-starting" attraction signals in

How To Project Strength That APPEALS To Women...

Before I explain the type of "strength" that women like in men, let
me tell you what I USED TO think.

Early on in life when I began socially experimenting around and
interacting with females...

... I (wrongfully) thought by behaving extremely gentlemanly (care
for every detail for the lady) would have them think of me as
pleasant... and may essentially make them think such a guy is
"boyfriend material"...

... Man, that was one of the CRAZIEST mistake that could happen,
because let's just say results were less than ideal.

Now, I have nothing against caring. But there is a difference
between these 2 things -

1) Caring and looking powerless to the gal.
2) Caring but still FIRMLY RETAIN your power.

In the case of 1), it simply means the guy care too much to the
point of being seen as SOFT by ladies.

Say for instance on a date, such a guy would typically ask the girl
where she would like to eat... where she would like to go after
that... is the cafe ok for her and if not she can suggest someplace
else... etc.

At first it may seem he's just being a sensitive male, but truth is
(and you can ask any of the females you know to give their MOST
honest views), this can make the guy look DIRECTIONLESS.

A lady friend once described such an experience to me, she said
"It's like the 'guy' is there on the date but the 'MAN' is missing."

There has to be a "strength" that emits within you during
interactions with women. The strength lies in - you know where to
bring them to. And you know what to do to lead them.

It's definitely ok (more than ok in fact) to set a direction for
the girl to follow.

You know where to go and you can confidently lead her there.

Tell her you feel like having some pasta today, lead her there.
Tell her you know of a cool place that you want to hang out after
dinner.

It's a MASSIVE plus point bcause while other guys she's been out
with seem to be sitting in a 'clueless prison', you appear different
by showing her you are SURE.

Most guys would want to "check with" the lady (for things they
should be leading) because they're afraid that not doing so would
"offend" her.

Yet, the moments when you display strength by showing a woman what
you want to do or where you want to go, she will just weave into
your direction.

Again, some may misunderstand this as being uncaring. NO. You care
and at the same time... you project strength.

By the way, this is NOT about dominating the lady. Instead, it's
showing her you have dominance over yourself.

How to Keep Getting BETTER With Women...

When it comes to going out with a lady and having a superb time
dating, there's one thing many guys (including me previously)
mistakenly forgot to do.

It's called "Tracking".

Here's what I mean -

Way back, I'd go out with a girl on a date. During the entire
course of the few hours with her, I'd see good responses coming out
of her at various times... there'll also be points of times where
the date hits a lull... there'll be times when she's
enthusiastic... or passive etc.

After the day's done, what did I do?

I'd just go home and return to my usual stuff. That's it.

(As I think back, that was idiotic.)

What should be done instead is-

"Track" the results. Look back into the course of the few hours of
dating and reflect on some of the things that bring out favorable
responses in a girl.

No man can progressively get better if he doesn't track his results

So here's a "date-analysing" exercise.

After going out with a lady, return home and rip out a piece of
paper or use a notebook (I recommend this, it's your seduction
progress tracker).

Jot down on a page with these words - "What I did right"

Then start listing the things you SAY or DO that creates pleasant
responses from her.

- Recall the topics she kept ENGAGED and talked about with a smile.
Record it.

- Take note of certain times when you said or did something and she
TOUCHES you more. Pen it down.

- If you've tested some attraction tactics on that lady for the
first time, see what worked. Track it.

Once that's done, divide the page in two and write in the second
section with these words - "What can be improved the next time"

If you're meeting the same girl again (or you're going out with a
different lady), some of the things that had worked previously can
be "amplified" and repeated. Your notes are meant to help you see
the entire picture.

*Track the results*... discover those things that work, use it again
and again.

First thing. Let's do an almost 'kiddy' act here.

Repeat after me...

"Doing anything for the girl won't work if she didn't like you in
the first place."

I stress the idea of - having the girl attracted to you BEFORE
anything else.

Most guys got the sequence messed up by first showering the girl
with soft toys, fine-dining, self-made presents and so on.

Problem is, if the lady didn't like the guy in the first place,
it'll look like he is buying his way through.

Cruel truth I know... but many males have lived through an incident
where they do so much for a gal but a new guy simply pops along and
become her boyfriend within days.

Once again... having her massively LIKE you must always be the

Second point: Have you ever gotten courtship advice (from maybe an
uncle) which says, "Know the girl, MAKE FRIENDS with her first and
develop from there"?

My opinion is - the "make friends" part may be taken too heavily by
some males and they end up NOT getting the girl.

Because if you want to bond with the lady in an intimate
relationship, shouldn't you POSITION yourself as a "lover figure"
in her mind, as opposed to a "friend figure"?

If she sees you as a friend figure, she sees you as an everyday
person.

I'm sure throughout your life, you've heard a VARIETY of dating
advice or suggestions coming from different people (perhaps an
auntie or a school friend etc).

Among these advices, no doubt some of them can be helpful in making
you get better with women.

Realistically, there'll also be common ones that does NOTHING to
boost a guy's social life.

And over the years, if I were to choose one absolute WORST advice
that can be thrown in a guy's face, it'll be - "Just be yourself."

*WAIT, WAIT WAIT!*

I'm NOT suggesting you to become someone else you're not or
betraying your own values.

To explain...

Over the years in my life, I've met many folks who gave out this
"just be yourself" line. As I look back, I realised they were...

- either single (for a long time)
- or said "just be yourself" because they DON'T know what other
advice to give.

[It's like an 'EASY WAY OUT' advice]

When it comes to becoming successful with ladies, it's too MUDDY to
simply say "just be yourself". It doesn't mean anything on its own.

Plus, I've came across very nice men with pleasant outlooks... they
were "being themselves" for 30, 40 years but have yet to find
success with gals.

So, my take on that is -

If being yourself doesn't give you the results you want with women,
it's time to IMPROVE or upgrade your "self".

After that, are you still yourself?

*** Yes, you're still yourself... only BETTER.***

Understand that being too caught up with the "Just be yourself"
line can become a TRAP for a person to remain where he is and NOT
want to move forward.

It's a different game now...

"Be yourself AND at the same time hold the skills to attract
fantastic women."

For me, aside from my current girlfriend, I've dated some
delightful gals in the past. Thing is...

... deep inside I know all of it would never happen if I remain my
"old self".

Looking at it another way -

The BETTER version of "self" rescued the "old self" from a life of
dateless-ness and loneliness.

To wrap it all up, there's no need to become someone else. Be a
more powerful version of yourself instead.

How to NOT Get "Tongue-Tied' In Front of Women

Whether it's during an approach or a date, most guys become
tongue-tied or turn ladies off because TOO MUCH IMPORTANCE is put
into the interaction.

Consider these thoughts-

"I can't screw up this one. She's the last hot girl out there."

"If I don't do well at this date, I'll probably be girlfriend-less."

"She's the one. She's too nice/beautiful for me to lose."

Note: The above may seem like odd sentences, but believe it or not,
I hear them coming out of guys quite often.

My thoughts are - Firstly, earth (and our hometown Singapore)
is manufacturing more gorgeous and nice women every minute. So
DON'T worry about "there's no one else to date already".

Next, thinking there's too much at stake will ironically cause the
whole thing to fall hard. Afraiding it'll screw up ironically
causes it to screw up.

Reason - If you think there's too much at stake, there'll be
pressure. And when ladies sense pressure, they get uncomfortable.
Not good.

It's like this scenario - You're casually playing basketball.
Having fun standing few feet away from the basket and throwing
balls into it.

You're doing well so far. Suddenly, a man comes over and whisper in
your ear "The next ball you throw better go into the basket...
because I just bet your eyes on it. If you miss, I'll gouge
them out!"

The scene suddenly changes to a sweaty one where there's pressure
and something's at stake. So what are the chances of 'scoring' in
such a scene? Probably low.

And that absolutely relates to being good with ladies where how you
feel about being in the presence of women should change.

Let's Talk About 'Resistance' From Women

Two men.

One guy can face a situation where a response from a lady is not
positive and he'll feel rejected... even upset.

Another guy can face the SAME thing, yet he feels UNAFFECTED (he
can even grin to himself and feel motivated about the situation).

It's not a quiz or anything, but I'm sure you can guess who among
the two leads a life obtaining more successes with women.

Thing is - A man who has high levels of success with ladies can do
so because of the personal 'CODE OF CONDUCT' he live by.

There are a number of 'code of conduct' and perhaps one of the
first to be embraced is -

Never take it personally when facing resisting or negative
responses from women.

You see - While interacting with gals, doing things right can draw
out smiles and good attraction feelings from women. Yet, it is
unrealistic to think there won't be resistance every time.

Anyone who has talked to and mixed with enough ladies will know
resistance happens in some and not in others.

By that, resistance can mean cold replies or uninterested reactions.

Could a guy possibly did something to cause that?

Maybe, but that doesn't mean he has to blame himself for it (which
by the way, blaming oneself is the deepest form of taking things
personally).

The same time and effort taken to blame oneself can be used to
learn and modify your 'moves' to wear down the lady's resistance.

More importantly, at times, negative responses from gals have
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with you.

A quick self-explanatory example would come in handy here.

Once went to chalet to celebrate a lady friend's return from
overseas. Her own friends from elsewhere were there and vividly,
there was this gal dressed in light blue who was quiet to the max
and doesn't look keen to interact.

Most of that night, she was sitting by herself and occasionally
whipping out her handphone to either sms or play games with it.

She's almost seen as the 'cold zombie' for that night.

Here's where things get interesting...

The chalet was an overnight event. So the next morning while having
breakfast, this cold one suddenly became 'alive' and warm.

I asked her what's the deal about her being like a statue twelve
hours ago versus now.

Her reply?

She doesn't "feel her best" the night before. After waking up, she
felt "more sunny".

Plain and simple.

For the rest of the breakfast, she was talkative (and I mean
VERY)... can't shut her up even if we wanted to.

So as you can see, resistance in a girl at times have nothing to do
with you.

Imagine if a dude were to talk to the girl in the example the night
before and got cold replies. He might just mistaken the situation
and develop self doubt... whereby there's really nothing to
self-doubt at all.

Once again, refer to the 'code of conduct' at the top again. Most
guys 'kill themselves' for nothing... but not those who are
unaffected by women's resistance.

Dating a Lady Becomes 'Ineffective' When This Happens...

Ask around men you know who are 'professional daters' and they'll
tell you that during dates with women, the purpose is to have a
buildup of attraction and enjoyment.

'Buildup' is important... as no gal would want a male as a
boyfriend (or reach a higher level of intimacy with him) if she
doesn't feel reasonably drawn to him or find him a bore.

This accumulation of feelings can be destroyed though.

For instance, you meet a lady for the first date. She's quite
attracted to you and enjoys your company.

Then during the next date, out of nowhere she starts complaining
about how that colleague at her workplace is bitchin' about her to
the boss behind her back.

You tried listening and suggesting what she can do.

And her complaining starts to prolong further and further... all
the way till it becomes not just her problem but YOURS as well.

In the end, it looks more like a complain session than a date.

Believe it or not, prolonged negativity on a date (even if it's her
personal stuff and it's got nothing to do with you) is a killer of
attraction and enjoyment buildup.

Worse, some guys hear a woman complain on a date, and they
encourage the complain further!

Sure, women grumble at certain intervals but when the complain is
PROLONGED, the buildup collapses.

Why?

Firstly, you might turn into a "complain buddy" of hers. NOT a
lover.

Second, the negativity of complain may crawl its way to cling to
you. Such that she equates seeing you as a negative experience.

So, what I say next is going to shake a lot of guy's old thoughts
and make them go "what the heck?"

I'll say it - When you're out a lady on a date, and somehow she
complains about an unhappy incident... You are NOT meant to stay
on and "listen".

Before it can prolong further, you are meant to stop the negative
train.

The attraction and enjoyment you've built so far won't be
threatened.

Don't encourage any grumblings or negatives further. Here's what
you can say to your date - "I know things don't turn out the way
you wanted. But guess what? Right here, you're far away from
whatever that had happened. You can relax now. Let's just enjoy
ourselves."

Then break into a smile and talk about something else.

As mentioned, I know this will disturb a lot of nice guys who
prefer to 'give a listening ear' to a complaining date.

Yet, believe it when I say these guys often end up as FRIENDS to
the lady. Nothing else.

So go ahead, use what you've read so far. Dates are meant to move
you forward with the gal, not backwards.
