As I mentioned in this post sweet generous Miz Marie has gifted me with another spot in her online digital magic class to give a way here on the Collage Cat Blog. Last weekend the kids and I piled into the car and went shopping for Grammy's birthday. Our plan was to gather up everything we needed for a little surprise party and show up at her house with her totally unaware!

We got her good! The birthday brigade came into the house loaded down with presents, birthday cake and roses :D We love Grammy!!!

 

I just wanted to give my readers a head's up. Marie will be running this class one last time before she retires it. Remember, this is the class I learned how to operate my photoshop elements software. I made these...

A whole new world hasbeen opened up to me and I'm loving digital art and having the BEST time creating fun collages without making a mess in my studio. If you've been wanting to learn how to do things like this, or perhaps just learn what tools do what in your photoshop or photoshop elements program this IS THE CLASS FOR YOU! Miz Priss and I were in my portrait studio playing around with the light from the chandelier. I had a clever idea I wanted to try out so I turned off the on board flash and all the other lights and let the glow of 6 little bulbs bathe my pretty girl in creaminess. I was "all prepared" to have a knock out mini session, but as you can see from these photos Chloe was on a completely different page.

She couldn't stop laughing and I couldn't stop laughing at her. 

I guess it's hard not to be silly when you're rockin socks like these.

Words cannot express how loved and special the well wishes all of my friends sent me today on facebook. I felt like a rock-star or a princess! Thank you to all who took time out of your busy lives to stop and send me a greeting. I really appreciate it, and want you to know that you made my birthday extra special!

Big Daddy brought me tacos for lunch and a really pretty hot pink and zebra print birthday cake :D thanks honey!

I spent this very chilly afternoon next to a roaring fire in the fireplace and worked on my homework assignment for Marie's journal magic class. I learned several new techniques this week and I'm excited about applying what I learned to future creations. Thanks Marie!

 

I found the picture of my dream sofa I had stored on my hard drive and got ALL inspired to make this journal page. I LOVE PINK!!!!!
