Loyal Follower,

First, allow me to thank you for your support and interest in my MS Paint nonsense for these three-ish years. I have been flattered and humbled by the feedback I've received for my silly doodles since starting this project in early 2009. What started as a way for me to communicate to a fellow office monkey (a few blocks closer to Dupont Circle than I, I'm talking to you Abby Bar-Lev) how weird it was when a man shaped like a door asked me for something at the front desk has morphed into an incredible record of my trials and triumphs since undertaking this D.C. adventure.

But, like all good things, mspaintoffice.blogspot.com, is destined to ~~come to an end~~ become something great.

This morning, after opting to workout and shower at work rather than show up looking like a drowned rat, I had to marvel at my past self for being able to tolerate shared showers for all those years in college. Ish

Yesterday on my way home from the grocery store I got the stink eye from no fewer than three tweens. I determined they either had terrible experiences in Minnesota or were contemplating beating me up and stealing my Cool Ranch Doritos.

Last week I'm pretty sure I saw the man who owns my office's cafeteria napping in his car between breakfast and lunch. It was simultaneously unnerving and endearing.
