What if Jesus comes back to the world this Christmas?

Jesus is coming soon. I hope every one of you would have seen this board somewhere in your respective countries. Is really Jesus coming back? If so when? That I have no idea of. However I do believe that Jesus is coming back. But my question is what if Jesus comes back this Christmas? What would be his reaction? Would he love coming back in the form of human or would he regret coming back this season or may be plan to come some other time ( I mean off Christmas season) well if you wonder why am I saying this… well I hope you know.. It’s merely because Christmas has been commercialized now…

Well… if Jesus was here now… First of all Jesus might get threatened by a third person. (Not by another religious leader) Well he will defiantly feel insecure about himself because of the existence of the Santa clues. I’m sure that all children in the current world would give more preference to papa Santa than Jesus Christ. (Don’t you think it’s wrong?) Then Jesus might wonder about the Christmas tree. Jesus might get the wrong impression that fruits in the twenty first century have been replaced by electric bulbs and glittery decoratives... Then he might have second thoughts about the replica of the crib that he was born in Bethlehem. For Jesus sake there weren’t snow in Bethlehem. He was born in the Middle East. And for Jesus sake Middle East is a desert.( snow should be the last thing there) Then he might see himself getting sold for cheap rates on candles, Christmas cards, chocolates and etc.

Have we got Jesus’ permission to put them on consumer products and sell for profit. Did Mel Gibson get Jesus Christ’s’ permission to do a movie about his life story? Did Dan Brown get Jesus Christ’s permission to write the book the Da Vince Code? I hope those people believe that Jesus would come (may be they were under the impression that Jesus wouldn’t come back to earth while they were still living in. Would Jesus really agree on spending (splurging) money on booze for Christmas (I’m sure I would finitely change his attitude if I was given the permission to take him on a field trip to Africa).

Well guys... I have nothing against Christmas… I respect the importance of Christmas... It’s just that I’m concerned about the way its celebrated… I wonder what if Jesus comes back to earth this season. If he dis…I’m sure some people might even go to the extent of pack and auction him.. What I personally think is that Christmas should not be commercialized as what it is now... After all Christmas is the season for love and humanity… and of cause it marks the birth of Jesus….

Role of the World Bank in poor countries (Sigh)

Is World Bank the ultimate solution for financial stability in the world? What is the role of the World Bank in poor countries? Who is heading the World Bank? Can I get a personal loan from the World Bank to buy a car? What was the role of the World Bank during the economic recession last year? Well what do they do? Is World Bank the biggest and the strongest bank in the world? So many questions? So many doubts? I hope there are sufficient answers as well. However I don’t think that everyone knows the answers to all the above questions as World Bank is such a complex financial establishment with plenty of ulterior motives. However I’ll try my best to clear those doubts…

World Bank is a result of the first and Second World War. The prime objective of the organization was to support Europe to over come its post war destruction. However currently it has become the guardian angel of the world. However is the World Bank really the survivor of the world? Well that is a big question? Ideally World Bank is supposed to stimulate economic growth in poor countries, eliminate poverty, and support those countries during natural and other unnatural (war) disasters. However have these goals achieved? No I don’t think so…,. because the world bank is using the same organization to stimulate the economic growth of US and other rich nations by creating more and more disasters in the world and making the poor even more poorer. Well I know most of you would think that I’m crazy but I’m not.. Let me explain…

Normally World Bank convinces the poor nations to get loans and get those nations into their custody in a daily basis. And then it insist those recipient nations to go ahead with projects of rich countries (if you really scrutinize the situation in world bank it does stimulate economic growth. but the economies of developed countries) ) then they give long term loans for low interest and put these poor countries in to depth traps. (the powerful countries know that the poor countries are unable to repay the loans) finally the world bank ( US, UK, and other rich nations) threaten those poor counties to exchange natural resources such as oil and other resourcs for a cheap price. Now this is what really happens at the world bank.

Now you might wonder why did I directly accuse US and the rich nations for their genorosity? (No I’m not mean or jealous) Well let me explain again (this also would provide answers to the questions on the first paragraph) if you didn’t know… The so called world bank is funded by the rich countries i.e. US, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Canada, etc) the main objective of the World Bank is to support poor countries and provides loans and structural adjustment loans as lond term loans, grants and other financial support. Since US Is the largest financial contributor ( however this year it’s UK) for the world bank a US citizen unanimously becomes the president in the institution. (have a upper hand) The world bank does provide reports and carry research about economic standards of poor countries but has failed to support the world fully (just because the real objective of the world bank is to stimulate the economic growth of their own nations).

How big is the World Bank? I’ sure you might be curiouse to know.. Well the world bank granted US $ 24 billion to the poor nations around the world this year ( how generous are these donor countries? I mean to eradicate poverty from the world and to feed the hunger in Africa ) Surprisingly do you know how much did the US government grant to the American financial instantiations to get rid of the economic bail out last year? Well it was approximately US $ 700 billion. (28 times more than the world bank granted to support the world’s poverty) I’m sure this simple example would be sufficient enough to explain the role of the World Bank (sole guardian angel) and its massive contribution to the world economy (sigh)

Why did Prabakaran fight for a separate land?

Why do Tamil speaking people need their own land? Why did prabakaran fought for his own land? What motivated him to do so? Would prabakaran fight for a separate land if he was born as a Muslim, Christian, and Malay or in any other minority community in Sri Lanka? If he thinks that Tamils are the only minority that were treated unequally... Hello... Excuse me…Well I doubt that? As all Sri Lankans, all of us have a common fear of insecurity…

Talking about the Sri Lankan Tamils, they think that Sinhalese speaking community has Sri Lanka, English speaking community has the western countries, Muslims have Saudi Arabia and Malays have Malaysia for their own rescue. (Which most of the Sri Lankans also think, however I really don’t agree with this stupid thought). In this context it’s a well known fact that the Tamil speaking diaspora is spread throughout the world from Cape Town to Copenhagen and Vancouver to Wellington (Please note that I have nothing against it) surprisingly if you really analyze the situation, you will also discover that the Tamil speaking community doesn’t have a separate land for themselves (I mean like a mother land… I mean something like a separate Tamil nation) Therefore by default northern part of Sri Lanka has been a melting pot for them to fulfill their dreams and build their own kingdom.( not the sri Lankan Tamils, but the Tamil speaking community in the world) Therefore the entire Tamil speaking community desperately wanted the north and east to be under their own rule (this is my personal view) and have been supporting the LTTE militarily and financially to do so. (it’s not a secret anymore… even my five year old niece knows this))

I’m sure now you might wonder. Why Sri Lanka? Why not another country? Why not Malaysia, or may be Tamil Nadu… I think this is something to think about... Well… if you didn’t know, Tamil’s DID fight in those countries and states for liberation. (Even at present, Tamil Nadu want to get separated from India... luckily patriotic Indians are not letting this happen, this is for the same reason why even the Indian central government didn’t want to intervene in the Sri Lankan conflict, knowing that if Sri Lanka was divided in to two, India would also break in to pieces or may be more)

However the Tamil speaking diaspora in the world soon realized that Sri Lanka is the easiest to defeat because Sri Lankans were not comparatively patriotic about their country.(Sri Lankans that is Tamils, Muslims and Sinhalese) How sad is that? If prabakaran really loved this country, would he try to break this precious land in to pieces? When prabakaran had to choose between Sri Lanka and Tamil, why did he choose the word Tamil..? Why did he try to give up his nationality? This is what’s wrong with all Sri Lankans… Sinhalese think that it’s their land; therefore other communities should listen to them and want Sri Lanka to be remained as a Sinhalese country (how mean is that) being born a Muslim I’m confused. Islam is the religion that I believe, what does that has to do with my mother land? Sadly none of the Sri Lankans understand this and lost in their own worlds...

Please note: I too speak Tamil; however I have never felt the need of having separate land.

Death Trap

I don’t know whether you have heard of a land called Sri Lanka. If you don’t know let me help you... a small island which was famous for its civil war that took place for nearly three decades. Sigh... Although the civil war is over, now the country is confronted with many more challenges, environmental issues are one of them. Did you know that 12.5% of the total land of this island is still green? Do you know that it has the oldest sanctuary in the world? Do you also know that it had the oldest recoded tree planted? Sadly not many people are aware of it.

However the country is facing complicated issues now. Developed countries are in a battle of banishing the natural resources (Deforestation) of the country. Surprisingly these are the same old nations who have been voicing out loud to protect the worlds’ flora and fauna at the Copenhagen climate change summit (what a joke?)

Although Sri Lanka is a small country it has declared large extinctions of land for evolution of animals and plants, passed certain types of laws to protect the wild. Sri Lanka has named strict national reserves such as Haggala, Ritigala and Yala block 2 under its belt. These areas are strictly preserved by the wild life department of the country. No one could enter unless for a research purpose approved by the wild life department. There are also national parks where the civilians are entitles to visit subjected to certain conditions. National reserves, jungle corridors are also commonly found in Sri Lanka. However due to corruption and various political motives the wild life in the country has been threatened. Western influences are manly responsible for all the destruction caused in the name of foreign aid and development. Most of their interests are related to demolishing these preserves. Japan has insisted the Sri Lankan government on a hydro power plant project which would demolish five waterfalls in the island. Japan has also urged the government that if permission was not granted to carry this projects they would back off from other projects that they have been involved. (Highway development project) how pity is that? Would Japan let this happen to their country? These super powers have victimized the poor and developing nations and gain their personals interests and project a different image to the rest of the world. How unfair is that? Sri Lanka might be poor financially but rich in biodiversity, culture and tradition. However it’s sad to see why the pertinent authorities are silent and not taking necessary actions against these foreign alliances. Then again how can they take action? Otherwise Sri Lanka could be isolated in the world?

Sole (Soul) Mates?

Sole mates? Who are these sole mates? Do these sole mates really exist? Where do they come from? How do they look like? Has everyone found their sole mates? At least one? I don’t know? I don’t know about others? I’m still waiting for my sole mate to come and meet me? Yes... It’s a bit awkward as I haven’t met my sole mate either? Will I ever meet my sole mate? Would my wait be fruitful? That I don’t know. That’s a big question where all these desperate singles trying to find out?

What I think is that the concept of sole mate is a mere excuse for not having a partner? A good one… A legally excepted norm... Something like a declaration where it’s not legal, But by the virtue of existence have been accepted by everyone. Everyone that is, all the singles in the world. How pity is that?

“War against terror or war against peace?” This is what my personal judgment on the us war in Afghanistan. Why does US is so concerned on stabilizing Peace and reconstructing Afghanistan. Is the United States a peaceful and a stabilized country? That is question that I would like to leave for you. If US can make decisions on other countries why can’t I at least question about US? Well I have nothing against the most powerful country in the world.

What does US doing in Afghanistan? Is there any particular hidden agenda behind its involvement in Asia? I have no idea. What all I understand is that they have made Afghanistan a living hell. How unfair is that. US troops have been in afghan soils for more than five years now. Have they achieved their mission? Have they combat terrorism?

Can anybody justify their stay? I don’t think so. Isn’t this an out of area mission? Why is US poking in to other peoples business? Wasn’t there mission to eradicate terrorism and find Osama? Haven’t they done that yet? If they haven’t achieved their goals isn’t that a shame to the most powerful country in the world? Hypothetically speaking even if they capture bin laden dead or alive, will they still withdraw their mission from Afghanistan? Hmm… interesting… I don’t think that any of the above lame goals are achieved yet...

Didn’t US come to establish peace Afghanistan? However are afghan civilians protected now? I mean after the intervention of the western powers? Are the elections held in Afghanistan fair? Have US defeated the Taliban regime? What on earth has US done on post was construction? Have they established a good government? I have no idea? What all I know is that US have made the civilians in Afghanistan unprotected, carried on a unjustly election, misused democracy for their own benefit, made Taliban regime more powerful (by giving them unnecessary publicity), fueled the war and spread the seeds of hatred among afghan communities and the Islamic world and established their own US friendly government to fulfill their own personal goals? Oil… military base in Asia…I mean an area close to Iran… I don’t know... It’s surprising why no body is talking about it? At least, Obama? Didn’t he get the Nobel peace prize for establishing peace? What is Obama’s new strategy on war in Afghanistan? That’s a big question?

Guess what I’m back.. I really wanted to be quite for some time.. Therefore I hid my blog for sometime… the reason that my blog is not being anonymous.. the comments that I have been receiving had been harsh, racial, subjective and well… I think mostly irrelevant to the topics. Now I’m not bothered about others.. I believe that I have the right to say what I feel about the world. Right or wrong.. Who cares? Well I don’t … I mean any more…... I have been having wired thoughts about the society that I live in lately.. I mean not good about them… I have discovered how cruel the world is. How people betray, lie, backstab and take extreme measures to hide their secrets… its complicated.. and of course its terrible … I have been looking at things differently as well. Now its time for me to share those thoughts with everyone.. Keep your fingers crossed… as nifraz is back.. with his witty blog….. I hope my writing will amuse you.. Then again who cares… its your right to read my blog or ignore it… who am I to intervene.. However let me promise you one thing.. I’m sure this time each and every posts would be interesting, informative and juicer than ever before. So keep watching this space

Give me a Second Chance

I’m a depressed little kid… little…. I doubt… but depressed a lot.. During the past three weeks I have been so pessimistic about my life… I don’t feel happy about my self… I always think that I could have done much better in life if had a second chance… it all started when I was on leave and left home doing nothing last Thursday.. For the past few months I have been busy as a bee doing different things at work, at home and elsewhere. However that holiday was the only day where I had time to think of my self…maybe after months… so I though about my self… analyzed myself…..

That morning I was so bored thinking of my self where I tried to watch TV.. However I couldn’t... I tried to read the news paper. My eye lids were so heavy.. I tried to sleep.. But different thoughts haunted my mind…my head was heavy and cursing me.. Few days ago I was a half full cup. I was content and thanking god for everything I had… but suddenly everything changed… I felt that I had nothing... just a half empty cup… maybe a cracked empty cup…nothing in possession... I wished I could rewind my life and go few years backwards and correct all my mistakes which I thought were my learning points.…I could have at least selected my career path correctly.. I could have continued with my education properly.. But what went wrong... I don’t know.. What all I know is that I’m depressed…A depressed little kid...

I’m not happy about the things around me…I’m getting older but nothing under my belt… I don’t want to end up like this.. I want to change my life… I always compare my life with my school friends, colleagues and cousins of my age… I see all of them progressed in their lives… married with children, Degrees with Masters, cars and houses and living abroad with happiness. Sadly I don’t see a single positive thing in my life to be happy about… I’m so depressed... I feel that I’m a burden to my parents, pain to my friends, and pest to my siblings. This world seems to be a waste to me.. Maybe I seem to be a waste to this world… What am I suppose to do? I don’t know… I want to change.. I want to get rid of all this and start fresh, start new… but I feel I’m late…. A failed little kid… Is this a nightmare… help me overcome this…

Family or friends?

Life is a series of triumphs and disappointment. Therefore it’s important to have some trustworthy people around you to share those joyful and dull moments in life. A party with just one person will never be a hit. Similarly funerals with just one person don’t convey a good message either. Therefore it’s important to know whom to associate in life. Cuz people play a major role in our lives. Positive or negative they make a huge impact on our lives. Friends, family or may be Stanger might be with you at that crucial moment in your life. The person you thought a friend might turn it to an enemy at that moment. So cherry pick the ones that you associate with.

You could be surrounded with dozens of people during your happiest moment. But what about the miserable moments in life? Would all those so call friends still stick with you? No... I don’t thing so... Life is a survival of the fittest. So when you be come weak in life, no matter how rich or famous we are, we do get neglected in life.. Thus what if you encounter that moment. Who will be there for you? Friend or family? Well if you are clueless.. let me clear your doubt.

It’s only the family that would stand for you. Friends sometimes will be for you.. But not every time.. So please be mindful on how you handle with your family. Do build some strong relationships with your siblings, if you have any.. Do build a good relationship with your parents if they are still alive? Do share some solid times with your children and wife if you not divorced.. Cuz a strong family circle play a major role in your life.....

Imagine that you killed someone by mistake and hid that mystery from the rest of world. You would still have your so called friends and family around you.. What if the world discover about your guilt and brand you as a murderer. Would you still have those friends and family with you.. Friends.. i doubt.. But family.. You might have a chance, Cuz no matter what you do in life, a strong family would stick with you, support you, defend you, advise you...

Friends you can earn,, but family you cant earn.. Imagine that you are the only child in the family.. You can earn countless numbers of friends,, but can you have your own sibling.. No you cant... so if you have family, if you have siblings, if you have cousins.. You are lucky.. Treasure them.. Socialize with them, help them in need Cuz once you built a strong bond with them, you will never be left alone in life.........

Have you kissed anyone? If you have not, why not try now. Trust me you’ll love it. Okay let me put it this way, Kiss is a special form of expression that human’s inherit. Hold your partner's head with both hands and slowly move their head in the direction you wish your kiss to go... then slowly kiss up towards your partner's eyes and give them a tender kiss on top of their closed eyes. While your partner is resting or sleeping with eyes closed, very gently kiss her lip. Simply come from behind, embrace her, and kiss the top of her shoulder. Take a small sip of your favorite drink. Leaving a little bit of it on your lips, kiss your partner. It is a unique way to create a sensual feeling and your partner will enjoy it. Whisper sweet nothings into your partner's mouth. Before your partner awakes lean over and kiss their cheek and move over giving soft kisses until you reach their lips. Definitely what a pleasant way to wake up!

You could even Send your lover a kiss in a love letter by writing the letter x several times in a row at the bottom of a letter such as XXXXX. I’m pretty sure if you try one of this in practice, you would definitely experience a difference in life. Now don’t take me wrong. I didn’t mean anything bad. It could be a kiss given to a child by his mother, a kiss given to a son by his father, a kiss given to a sister by her brother, a kiss given to a friend. So what ever it is, a simple kiss could really make a huge impact on ones life. But the crucial point is to find the right person to kiss. As you would see, kiss is a very private yet intimate moment in life.

So when I was looking for the meaning of kiss I ended up lost in jungle of explanations. Cuz kiss had different meanings. In Economics Kiss was that thing for which the demand was always higher than the supply. In Accountancy Kiss was a credit because it was profitable when returned. In Algebra Kiss was infinity because two divided by nothing. In Geometry Kiss was the shortest distance between two lips. In Physics Kiss was the contraction of mouth due to the expansion of the heart. In Chemistry Kiss was the reaction of the interaction between two hearts. In Zoology Kiss was the interchange of salivary bacteria.

In Physiology Kiss was the juxtaposition of two orbicularisoris muscles in the state of contraction. In Dentistry Kiss was infectious and antiseptic. In Philosophy Kiss was the persecution for the child, ecstasy for the youth and homage for the old. In English Kiss was a noun that was used as a conjunction, which is more common than proper, it is spoken in the plural and it is applicable to all. In Architecture Kiss was a process which builds a solid bond between the two dynamic objects. Oh my god? So many explanations! But what ever it is for me kiss is something that would make me feel special in life. So why not find your special one right now and give him or her a warm kiss. By the way make sure whether that person is ready to except it first. Cuz the wrong kiss given to the wrong person might end up you some where you don’t expect.

The Dead Spirit

Do you believe in dead spirits? Demons? Vampires? Dracula? Well what you don’t? Well for some time, I didn’t believe them either. I thought that they were all fictions… just cat and bull stories... even when I read the twilight series I knew it was false.. Come on, how can you find immortal vampires sucking blood? Bullshit. I thought. But if it was is false, how come the thoughts of demons come to the mind sets of people.. I mean where ever you go, every human civilization DO believe in demons.. So how did that happen? What are these demons? Do they really exist? How do they look like? Has any body seen them? Well that’s something to think about? but as I grow up I realised that I was wrong and demons do live.

So what really matters is not whether we believe it or not, but whether do they exist or not? Well if you need an answer? I’d say YES. Demons do exist? They live with us? They are part of this world? They have mates, They have children, They have family, but the only different is that we cant see them, they are made of smoke.. AND LOOKS SCARY. Now I’m sure you might wonder how I got to know all this information, Well for you information, please don’t question me? Just believe my words? Demons do exist, some exist in the form of human, others in the form of dead spirits, some spirits haunt houses, some spirits haunt people and make their lives miserable, some people do have the ability to sense the existence of the demons, some do get friendly with the demons and get their personal work done.. Well that’s something to do with witchcraft and wizardry..

So if you still don’t believe me , I can’t help, cuz I can’t prove it? But I’m sure some of you must have experienced wired things in life, things to do with demons, why not share them here? We would like to hear. So next time when a dog hauls in the darkness you would know why it is? Maybe a demon family crossing the road in the darkness..

My Monthly Salary

Oh my god. I have another 10 more days to get my monthly salary. But I don’t have a cent left in my pocket. What exactly happened to all my money?” I thought in desperation. “Did someone steal my wallet? No”. “Did I spend my salary on charity? No”. “Did I give my salary to my mother? No”. “Did I go on a vacation? No...”. “Then what the hell did I do with my salary? What really happened to it? I have no idea? Wait a second; did I get last months salary? Yes I did? So what the hell happened to my salary? Did I lend a loan to a friend? I don’t think so cuz I still have my friends with me. Did I go for a movie? No… did I save it in the bank? No. I remember my bank statement nil. So what happened to my salary? Did I by new cloths? No... I still wearing the T shirt that I bought last month. Oh my god then what the hell happened to my salary? Did I lose it?” I was terrified”

“Did I pay my phone bill? No. Did I pay my credit card bill? No. Did I buy a gift to my cousin? No? Did I buy a book for it? No? Did I buy a watch? No. did I hide it under he pillow? Did I shred it? No... Did I throw it? No. No... So what the hell happed to my salary? Where the hell it is? I have no idea…. Oh my salary? Where are you? I’m hungry right now? I want to buy something right now? “A hot dog… a cappuccino coffee and a tuna sandwich”. But I don’t have cash with me... oh my salary where are you?” I screamed... Suddenly I saw a friend of mine coming this way. I was happy. Now I could borrow some cash I thought. “Dude can I borrow 100 bucks” I asked.. “Oh man. I’m broke… I was about to ask you for some cash” my friend replied “So nobody has money” I thought. “But where are you my dear salary? I can’t find you in my wallet?” I told my self. Where are you my salary? Oh my god now I remember?” I was enlightened.

“Now I remember what I did with you. I just splurged it for no reason. I bought a stupid I pod for my salary? Which cost me A fortune…But why did I buy an I pod? Was it really important? Not really… Then why did i spend my salary on that? Well to be honest, i really wanted to be relaxed and hear some good music? But where’s my I pod now? It’s in my pocket. Okay.. Then why don’t you listen to it? Well. I’m really sick of listening to the same old play list over and over again. Beside its not charged… hmmm.. if its not useful why the hell did I buy an I pod? Why not pay your phone bill or rather spend it on your studies? My spirit questioned my self… I have no idea? I was speechless. It’s not my fault… that’s what everyone does, when they get their salary.. They splurge it for no reason. Nobody knows to plan their expenses.. No wonder the world is in a financial recession... cuz I’m just a part of it…. I ended up screwing my life this month in hunger…10 more days to get my next salary..

Just After fasting for thirty days during the month of Ramadan ( few months ago)I was so eager to welcome the Eid festival (a religious holiday) as it was a day filled with joy, happiness and food. Finally I would be able to have my breakfast, lunch without any dilemma. Unfortunately my sister was safe guarding the scrumptious biriyani, the traditional rice curry and the delicious watalappam- an egg pudding that my mother made from the morning as a cobra was protecting a treasure. “Hmm, I could wear new cloths and send countless number of sms’s to my friends” I made up my mind. But firstly I had to go to the mosque to perform the Eid prayer. But I badly wanted to meet someone that morning. I wanted to wish that person and give my blessings. Yeah… it was woman. But it was neither my girl friend nor my secret crush. But it was someone special in my life that had helped me make my life meaningful. It was not the nun lived next door but my grandmother who lived with my aunt one mile away from my home. She was eighty nine years old and had fourteen children. At a time where parents are neglected and sent to elderly homes she was one of the luckiest women to get surrounded by children, grand children and get treated as a queen. Surprisingly she never inherited property. She was a simple woman who never saved anything for her self but spent on others.

As the clock ticked at nine I reached my aunts’ and rang the door bell. “Salaam, Nifraz” My aunt welcomed me “come inside, “Eid Mubarak,” she called me in “Have a seat Nifraz, the chicken curry is on the burner, I’ll come back in minute” she rushed to the kitchen. But I didn’t want to sit. I wanted to meet my grandmother. So I scuttled to the room where she lived. The room was lit bright to the brisk sun. It had a huge bed in the center and a teak dressing table, a couch, an almeyrah and a wooden table in all four corners. A half full water bottle, an oval spectacle, a red napkin and balm bottle were scattered on the bed. A bundle of voile saris were also kept on the wooden table nearby. “Grandma, where are you?” I knew she was here. Suddenly my grand mother emerged to my sight while shutting the almeyrah door. She was wearing a light green sari. “Salaam, is that shamil?” she asked while looking at me “no... It’s me Nifraz,” I corrected, “hmm. So as usual you’re the first one to greet me?” she welcomed me with a warmth smile. “How’s your mom and sister?” she asked. “Well they’ll come in the evening” I replied. “Grandma, Eid looks to be grand for you,” I said “yeah grand. I have got sixteen saris as gifts and I don’t know which one to wear” she smiled. “Sixteen… that’s too much for your age” I passed a joke... “Let’s give salaam” I initiated to greet.

When I was small, greeting was the best thing about the Eid festival as we exchanged money. When I was little, I used to collect about eight hundred rupees. Sadly as I’m grown up and employed now I was not getting money. Instead I’m compelled to give money to others. Well that’s the different between me and my grandma. She loves giving money to others. That morning I took a hundred rupee note from my pocked and hid it under my arms and grabbed my grandma’s arms and greeted with love. I hugged her three times on her cheek and blessed her more years to live. “Hmm… May God bless you” she took the note and hid it under her jacket. “Nifraz, let me greet you, now” she took a five hundred rupee note and gave it to me. I was embarrassed. She had given me more than hundred. Neither she had property nor wealth, but she was rich. She had never been employed throughout her eighty nine years. But she always had money. “But how?” I always wonder. I have been employed for three years now. But I’m always bankrupt. She was my bank. Bizarrely even now she used to give me pocket money. But she never asks them back. “Nifraz, she called me again and handed over another five hundred rupee note. “Grandma just now you gave money” I told while refusing the money. “I know, now go and give this money to your aunt in the kitchen. She’ll be very happy” she said “b….ut grandma” I stammered “I brought money. I’ll give her when I greet” But my grandma was adamant. “Its ok Nifraz, you add that to this and give her the total, everyone things your aunt has enough of wealth” grandma said, “So nobody gives her cent. You give this. She’ll be very happy”. I was compelled to take the money and give my aunt. Well... this was the secret of long life of my grandma.

Usually my grandma gets money from her children to spend on her personal needs... But she diligently spends them all on others... She loves it... “You know Nifraz... If you give one rupee to a person in need… God will definitely give you ten folds in return. That’s the best investment you can ever make” But I work five days a week and always broke. I don’t even have money to pay my phone bill. But my grandmother always spends on others and remains rich. “Give what ever you have to others. Rich or poor… Just give… doesn’t matter whether he comes walking or on an expensive car… just Give them what you have… just give, God will double, triple and return the due, when you’re in need. Although it seems to be an unusual theory.. I think for my grandma, its money, saris, good health, love and happiness is what God had given in return

What a wonderful world? You never know what's going happen the next very moment? a world full of surprises.. It’s just like we expect the unexpected.. i mean just like the name Hussein...Husain… I have no idea how to spell it? But what a controversial name is it? few years back when the US invaded IRAQ it was all about capturing Saddam Hussein? Isn’t it? That was the most hated name of all? i mean for the Americans .. but look at their fate now... few days back another Hussein just gave the most sacred oath as the president of the same old country? How wired is it? why Hussein? why not Thomas? Dick? Henry or Peter? why was it Hussein? i have no idea? my head is just pounding thinking about it? How strange is it?

Undoubtedly Hussein is an Islamic name.. i mean a Muslim name... i don’t think that it has to do anything with Christianity... Hussein is a pure Muslim... even though Obama Hussein is a Christian he has a Muslim part in his name.. the name of the most hated person of US, Saddam Hussein ... Would anyone in the US ever imagine that their next president would be a Hussein? no.. but now it seems to be in history as Barack Hussein Obama has already sworn in as their president? hmmm... what a world? it is a well known fact that Americans hanged Saddam Hussein to death few years back... but now another Hussein is leading their country from crisis to prosperity... how wired is that? the same old people who convicted Saddam Hussein as a terrorist is safeguarding their new B Hussein O... how strange is it? have any president of the united states have a Muslim name so far? no? but now it is... so what is the bottom line of all these? Can anyone answer? Change… Change has come..

US thought Hussein was the filthiest name of all? but now that's the name of their president? Oh my god? What a strange world? A world with a limited number of names? What the hell is happening in Gaza? i have no idea? Why is everyone in the world is silent about this matter.. I have lost patience... why do human kill each other so brutally? Have we all become vampires? Oh Stephanie Mayer what have you done to us? You have just turned all of us crave for blood as in the characters in your book. Why don’t people question Israel for their bloody attacks? Why is all this happening to people? Are humans that cheap? Can some one answer me? What’s wrong with Israel? Does Israel want human blood to survive? Why on earth are all these so called noble prize winning, CNN heroes award winning people are quite about this problem? why aren’t American peace keepers are not involved with it? opps im sorry .. i forgot the fact that Israel was nurtured by Americans? Why does Israel act this way? is Israel such powerful country? Who are the forefathers of Israel? How old is Israel? Thousand years………… Two thousand………. come on Israel is not even sixty years old? What? are you kidding? No……….. I’m not... if Israel is having such a short history how come Israel become so powerful? Someone should support them? i mean some powerful nation? Who are they? America? I don’t think so…… cuz US is against violence... and currently US is fighting against terrorism in IRAQ, don’t they? so i don’t think that america is involved here.... cuz according to media reports US is the country who have emerged as the salvation of humanity….my foot….hmm that is the funniest statement I ever typed… .. Why do Americas grant so much of funds to Israel? Maybe their using those funds to spread the message of JESES... I mean the message of peace... okay.... if it’s not US, who are they? Who the hell is supporting Israel? Jeez…. I have no idea.

Now what about the UN? UN……… what the hell is that... frankly i have no freaking idea about UN? what I all know is that UN is a problem solver in developing countries.... so where are the UN now? why cant they stop this war? how can they let those palasthenian people die? Children…. Little boys… girls…. Infants…. what have those innocent people done to Israel? Now its clear the UN doesn’t have back bone... sorry UN does have a backbone which is operated by US. if US is against violence they should do something to it… funnily for US, only Osama, al Qaeda and hamaz and all the Islamic groups seems to be terrorists… if US is so concerned about violence ewhy cant they stop this war? dont they see ISRAEL as a blood thirst group.They will not…and they will NEVER STOP THIS WAR..... cuz this war is NOT about terrorism or violence…. THIS WAR IS all about power, religion and power……

So what are we going to do about this problem? Are we going to keep quite? Shame on us? Shame on humans? Shame on Muslim leaders? How dare you let those people die just because they believe in God…. how unfair is that? So now its time to do something? Is War the best solution? I don’t think so? Cuz none of these religions encourages us on war... but it doesn’t mean that you cannot get in to wars... its just an alternative.... but why do we act that way... forget about the religion ... aren’t we all humans... so please try to understand that first................. What ever said and done I’m sure that I’m gonna witness the THIRD WORLD WAR very soon… so I’ll have to get some pop corns to watch this on TV... FRANKLY I’m so exited about it….

Problem with the polygamy is .. lets say elite 10% of the crowd decided to have 3 wife’s. And then next 20% of wannabe elite crowd, (there is always wannabe crowd you know), let’s say, have two wife each. That end up leaving 70% men with 30% of woman (if my match is correct). Now if you look at polygamist animals like sea lions, males have to keep on fighting other males to maintain their property. So males are huge in size compare to females. They have lot of medical problems and very short lifespan. But we humans do not have to behave that way, what we can do is, lower the desire for the woman in the society. We can do that by covering woman head to tow, separate them from rest of the men. etc.. But still for those 40% unfortunate group of men, you can promise something like.. “you can have large number of woman to yourself in heaven, if you die killing other men, so we can have more woman that we in desperate need of”. So we back to sea lion situation again. We have to keep on fighting for woman. How Many is too Many - a talk about Polygamy

Why do i have only one passport... why not two of them... why cant i go to school as a student again ...why cant i celebrate my fifth birthday again .... why do i have to settle my phone bill by tomorrow.... why do i have only few bucks in my wallet... jeez.... why do i have only one job but not two... cuz if i had two jobs... i would have earned more... yeah but you are restricted to do certain things more than once in life... birth is one such thing.. Death is one… Marriage is another...are you sure …. Well you can marry several times in life... i mean you marry one person.. divorce him and then marry again... but what about a person marring several times simultaneously.... well that’s something to think about... if everything in life has limits... what about the number of marriages a person can have.. is there any certain number on that? i have no idea... but i think that's something to think about... so this time my blog is all about multiple marriages.. Interesting isn’t it.. i know... but today I’ll be only discussing about multiple marriages among men... so it's all about polygamy...

I'm sure you might wonder whether don’t i have any other things to write about... well i do.. but this sounds special.. So what is polygamy all about.. is it a sin... I’m sure most of you would think that it's just only practiced among Muslims... hell no... it's just something practiced by men all around the world... so what's the big deal about it.. What is polygamy? Polygamy is the situation in which one man is either married to or involved in sexual relationships with a number of different women at one time…but not together on one bed but in different locations……now I am I elaborating it too much… I don’t care… This is the most common form of polygamy...in a nut shell it’s all about having one ... two.. Three ... four ... five... six or more wives...

Polygamy is encouraged in African countries where leaders in such countries encourage multiple marriages to increase the population.. The number of women becoming the secret second wife is ever increasing in Asia too.. In Mongolia there has been discussion about legalizing polygamy to reduce the imbalance of the male and female population.. Polygamy is considerably more widespread among Hindus in Nepal than in India. In Hong Kong they say that a wife is not as good as concubine, concubine is not as good as prostitute, prostitute is not as good as secret affair, secret affair is not as good as the affair you want but can't get.. how bad is it man? According to Theravada Buddhism, polygamy is discouraged and extrametrical affairs are considered sinful. It is said in the Parabawa Sutraya that "a man who is not satisfied with one woman and seeks out other women is on the path to decline". But surprisingly almost all the Buddhist kings in India/sri lanka have had so many wives…. I’m not taking about one or two... cuz I’m talking about hundreds of them... talking about India, in Ramayana, father of Ram king Dasharath has three wives.. so talking all this information in to account allmost all the countries and religions have their share in polygamy... so is it a sin... is it ok... i have no idea... why do men get involved in polygamy... is it something to do with the biological structure of men... our men not satisfied with one women... well if that was the case why do we have so much of brothels in the world... I see… so there is a need for it... so is polygamy the answer for it.... i have no idea.. But looking at the major religions of the world such as Judaism, Christianity and Islam most of the prominent personalities in those scriptures are polygamists... what? You’re kidding? No... I’m not kidding…So is it ok to have more than one wife? i have a doubt...do you know about Moses, do you know about Abraham, Do you know about Solomon... all these prophets have had more than one wife... even prophet Muhammad have had more than one wife... So is it ok to have more than one wife... and is there any limit for it... how many is too many... can i marry fifty women... at least five.... So are these religions encourage us to marry more than one women... i have no idea... now its clear that its not only Muslims who are polygamists but everyone... has God approved polygamy... well as far as i know.. Yes you are allowed.. Otherwise those so called prophets of God would never marry more than one women...

So why are these religions encourage on polygamy but not Polyandry.. Well that i remain you to think... so think wisely... as far as I know according to Islam, the religion encourages a man to marry one, two, three or four but only if you can deal with your wives justly... otherwise stick with one wife... why dose it say that way...why have Islam put a limit on men... four... but if you look at the contemporary world it's really hard to survive with one women.. so Islam does encourage us to marry only one women.. but you can go for four women only if you could deal with justly... god know about human... specially men…god knows about the needs of men... so no wonder god has permitted men to marry more women.. so if you think that you could deal justly with more than one women... marry that women and give her the due recognition in the society.. Be courage’s enough to accept her as your legal wife... marry the widow.. marry the poor... give those neglected women a new life... So my dear male readers, if you're filthy rich dont waste it in vain, marry widows, divorced women, barren women and spend on them and thier children... cuz even women who our in prostitution use that money to feed her family....so for me polygamy seems to be the solution for prostitution... at prostitution you pay for a women for couple of hours and leave her away in hell... but in polygamy you give the right of a legal wife to a another women and sleep with her... let me put it in another way..... prostitution is all about sex, sex and sex... but in poligamy sex is only a small part of it... it's all about family, love, children, recognition for women and treating women equally.. So if you think I’m nutts today…I have no words to say…. please don’t get upset... cuz it might sound stupid... but when you think deeply it is something to think about ... cuz there are so may men out there who are against polygamy but sleeps with every other women they meet and call them bitch’s.. how unfair is that?

I hate Bollywood

Bollywood. Have anyone heard of that word. Bollywood with a big B. if you wonder what it is all about let me tell you.. It’s the term used to introduce the Indian movie industry. Some say that its the biggest movie industry in the world. But i hate bollywood. i don’t like at all. i simply cant stand on bollywood movies at all. It’s just stupid, bizarre and predictable. First of all what kind of name is it. I mean isn’t that word taken from the term Hollywood. Why can’t those people have their very own name to introduce their cinema? oh god help me. I cant take it anymore. if you think that Indian cinema is all about bollywood i think you are wrong. They also have kollywood which includes Tamil movies and Tollywood and i don’t know what wood is it but they have all the woods in store. It’s funny at times.

I hate shah rukh khan. He is just wired. i don’t like him at all. i don’t know why people call him king khan and die for him. Then they got this big B. some sixty year old chap who dresses up with those fancy cloths and dance for each and every thing through out the movie. Then they have aishwarya rai, another plastic doll who doesn’t know to act, for god's sake i don’t know how this industry is this big with all these stupid actors.. Notably in bollywood male actors never get old. They always remain young. In some instances there are actors around sixty but still does roles as college students and teenagers. How funny is that? But even young female fans who die for them. Sadly female actors loose their market as soon as they get married. Don’t you think that its unfair. But that’s what bollywood is all about. Have you heard about a man called Rajni kanth? He is just fifty eight years old. But he is currently filming his latest movie with aishwarya rai. Come on. This is stupid. And the movie is supposed to be the most expensive movie in bollywood. There are female actresses who played the love interest of these actors few decades ago who are playing the role of their grand mother in movies now. And this what bollywood is all about.

The best part is all about the story. It’s so predictable. All bollywood movies are all about artificial love stories. During the first half the boy tries to win the girl and both of them fall in love. Then they have a fight and fall apart. Then the girls try to reconcile with the boy. Alas finally both of them fall in love. If you think that was end of the movie here comes the villain from no where. Finally it’s all about fighting with the villain and marring at the end. This is what a typical bollywood movie is all about. In between there are hundreds of songs where the couple run around trees. its so stupid. That’s why i hate bollywood so much. i would say all this to anyone i meet. If my friends ask me whether i watch them. i would say “hell no”. not at all. But am i being honest here. Give me a minute cuz i really need to think.

Didn’t I spend two hours in the queue to watch a movie of rajni kanth two years ago. dont i have all the DVD's of hindi and tamil movies at home. dont i have all five songs of varanam ayiram in my I -Pod? dont i want to look like john abram? am i not in love with A R Rahman's music? i do.. i do... but why do i hate it... i have no idea... Well bollywood. let me think again. If bollywood is that bad why would I do that? i watch them a lot. But why do I deny about watching them. Frankly i think I’m addicted to those movies. it may be Hindi, Tamil, theligu or kannada what ever it is i love these movies. Now why did i say that i hate bollywood before? Did i? Well. tht's a big question. and thats somthing what all the asians do. they lie. may be i don’t want to show the world that i watch them cuz its cheap. People might misjudge me. They would think that I’m mad to watch bollywood movies. this is what most of the Asians like me do. they watch them all. but deny it. and I’m not any exception here. so if bollywood is that bad how come it become so successful . Yeah that’s something to think about. Well i think your right. Bollywood is indeed a big industry. And i do love to watch those movies.

so let me come clean. i love bollywood because its all about making you happy and taking you to a dream world.. In a nutshell bollywood is all about a full course meal. it has everything in one menu. It has a little bit of action, it has a little bit of romance, it has sentiment, it has comedy, it had horror and it has lovely songs. It has everything. These movies help us to forget our depressed lives. That’s why its so big in the world. Unlike Hollywood movies it has something to everyone and that’s why i love it but deny cuz I pretend to be happy to the outside world. for some reason i don’t feel like telling people that i watch them. i know its wired but that’s what the reality. Bollywood is rich in colure and simply a feast to your eyes. it gives the average people like you and me to explore the world within three hours just for few bucks.. the story might be about a cobbler. But the songs of the movie would be pasteurized in New York, London, Brazil or may be Australia. It’s just all about making all our dreams a reality and entertaining you. so i think its time to stop pretend disliking this amazing movie industry and watch them out. Well for your information my favorite Indian movie stars are akshey Kumar, surya and rajni kanth. i love aishwarya and Jyothika too. So if you guys haven’t heard about bollywood please Google it now. I’m sure you’ll love it. Devdas, Varanam Ayiram, Sivaji, rain coat, gilli, dhoom, jodha Akbar are my favorites.

I really don’t know where on earth is my blog is heading … few months back I started this blog in order to share my thoughts about life with others… but suddenly I think it had changed its purpose and direction.. sadly its beyond my control… and I cant help it cuz my mind is going nuts… its just my mind… ok….for that matter yesterday suddenly a wired though boggled in to my mind…well I have no idea about it.. but I thought of sharing about it with you… ok...let me get it straight i'm just shocked about the Mumbai attacks.. how come people kill each othere? how come? how can we do it? but we do... dont we... in the name of Terrorism and Patriotism... but how can we.....

Now do you know the difference between a terrorist and a patriot? Anybody know? Hey this post is not about them… I just want to know the difference between them… that’s it…Coz I really cant figure out the difference between them… for my surprise some individual had called me a terrorist just because I have a different name… a muslim name.... now how wired is that….. Does being a Muslim makes you a terrorist… it’s wired… and an absolute unintelligent quote… anyway some one called me that… I have know issues about it… cuz I’m not one of them…….. but my point is what makes you a terrorist? Coz I have no idea about it…… Well as far as I know a terrorist is a person who usually involves violence against civilians for the advancement of a political view or religious belief…. Huh… now getting back to my question what’s the different between a terrorist and patriot? Well a patriot is someone who thinks, feels or voices expressions of patriotism support for their country.... Looking deeply on them what I feel is that different labels have been given to the same individual for the same action, i.e. ‘terrorist’ and ‘patriot’ cuz they all fight for a reason that they believe in…. how wired is it?

Are you aware of the British Empire… if you don’t please don’t ask me… go refer the history books…few decades ago England ruled so many countries in the world… India, sri lanka were few of those countries… interestingly before India achieved independence from British rule, some freedom fighters of India who did not subscribe to non-violence were labeled as terrorists by the British government…. I’m sure almost all the Britishers who lived in that era would agree with me on that….cuz those so called Indian freedom fighters were a pain to the British government… and they were labeled as terrorists…they wee poisoned and killed…. For god sake those people were against the British rulers…..but…………….the same individuals who have been lauded by Indians for the same activities and hailed as ‘patriots’ now. The life stories of those individuals are also taught for history lessons in India with great pride? Hmmmm … interesting isn’t it?

Now my point is…. Not to blame at anyone ok… for god’s sake how come two different labels have been given to the same people for the same set of actions…. One is calling him [Indian freedom fighters] a terrorist while the other [Britishers] is calling the same person a patriot. Those who believed that Britain had a right to rule over India called these people terrorists, while those who were of the view that Britain had no right to rule India called them patriots and freedom fighters. My head is pounding……… similarly different sets of people fight for different reasons…. Let’s say I was born in North Korea… if so I would definitely think that south Koreans are my enemies.. and I would risk my life to kill south Koreans… if I die I would be called as a hero in my country.. but will I be treated the same way in south Korea…no… they would probably celebrate my death with joy… now this is what boggled my mind…. Now why we think it that way…. How unfair is that…. The same thing could be applied to the Iraq war too… for Iraqis American solders could be seen as terrorists, who had come to destroy their country for oil…. But for Americans those solders are heroes who are brave enough to fight for their mother land… I know… its wired and complicating…. one blood shedding battle but different labels? al Qaeeda... LTTE... Mujahideen what ever it is..... we our just shedding our own blood...

It is therefore important that before a person is judged, as a terrorist or a patriot he should be given a fair hearing. Both sides of the argument should be heard, the situation should be analyzed, and the reason and the intention of the person should be taken into account, and then the person can be judged accordingly. But the problem is nobody is willing to listen… if that happen the world would be a better place … but I don’t think It’ll happen any soon… cuz we humans are so much divided for power, pride and prejudice …. Shame on us…... shame on us

Stop Talking about Obama!

Oh my god.. Don’t worry. this is not just nother post about obama… I’m so bored talking about him. Now what’s the big deal about him… I have no idea.. Isn’t this just a media debacle … honestly I’m sick of watching CNN and FOX news now.. Obama… obama… what the hell is wrong with this people..I’m sorry for that… but I cant help… why do all this US based media emphasize the victory of obama as a victory of all man kind… why do they show his victory as a big deal?… is this really a victory of man kind.. Did he really make history? Is this a victory a real victory of black people..? I don’t think so… all this is a slouch..

Stop talking about obama now. By showing obama’s victory over and over again, the US media is trying let the world feel that American president is the leader of the world…that’s what I feel? Did you ever think about it? Will they show Russian presidential election this way? Will the show the Indian or Chinese presidential elections this way.. but why America… if CNN was local channel It would be ok… …now this is discrimination….for god’s sake India and china are the countries which has a highest population in the world.. Come on… this is selfishness. What would obama’s victory do for me who live in a different country…… nothing…I don’t live in America.. Its just a victory for him … well for god sake.. He is an American…. Christian…. and his mother is also a white woman…obama has all the right to win? so what’s the big deal about his victory… nothing… if people say that being black is his qualification for his victory…. Come on isn’t that discrimination… if being black was his qualification.. Don’t you think it was unjust for McCann… did people reject McCain for having white skin? do you think that obama is black enough to grab that title… all this is crap… do you think that obama has real slave blood running in his body……? No… his mother was a white lady and his father was a Kenyan foreign student who came in to US for few years to complete his higher education..… Obama’s father is also not a slave... obviously he should be from the upper-class Kenyan family who was able to afford to spend on his education in a devolved country such as US fifty years ago…. The only qualification obama had was his leadership skill.. he inspired the people… he talked about change.. People liked his thoughts and ideas… that’s what made him the president… not his color… he still have to prove it…. So oprah.. Stop being so emotional… if being black. .oops… Sorry…. being tan was his strength that’s discrimination…does that mean that if obama was born white people would reject him? For god’s sake he is a human like you and me…

This is why it doesn’t make sense to me on why these black Americans are so happy about obama’s victory… cuz if you think that this is a major victory in mankind that means we still believe in color ..Don’t we? Frankly I always wanted to be a color blind person..… I think each and every one in the world should be color blind.. Black or white none of the color is superior that the other… both has its own advantage…both colors are superior… I love oprah.. I love tyra banks,…I love will smith… I love beyonce… I love nelson Mandela… its not because their black.. Simply because all of them are exceptional human beings… that’s why I like them…...

I can’t believe the reaction of the black people who were weeping in happiness when they got to know about obama’s victory…. for god’s sake why should they cry…. America is not even 400 years old. Its not the land of white nor the black… it’s the land of everyone who live there… what ever said both black and white people has a very short history in America …humans are divided in different colors in order to have their own identity … I cant imagine a world without white people… I cant even imaginer a world without black people… the world would look dull with one color.. I’m glad we have both the colors to make the world colorful.. I don’t mind getting born as a black or white.. as I’m glad that I’m born as a human… so obama’s victory its just about an American (who has a little bit dark skin ) getting elected as the president… what’s the big deal… coz as I said before both the races should have equal rights.. So obama’s victory is not history…. man… it will really be history when a black, Hispanic or Asian, Hindu, Muslim becomes the prime minister in the UK… will that happen? That day it’ll be history… because UK has longer history than US. Will Britishers let that happen?

Sadly in the country where I live.. our race have been living in the island for several centuries now…but still I don’t have the right to campaign for the presidency in my own country… which means all though I’m a citizen in my country I don’t have the privilege to become the president of my country… I’m not black like martin Luther king… nor white like john McCain.. I’m just tan like obama…, there aren’t even white people living in my county …… my parents.. grand parent… great grand parent had also lived in the country where I live now… my family history is longer than the American history… …but still I cant become the president of my country… under such circumstance why should I bother about obama’s victory… is it really a victory of mankind… is his victory really worth celebrating across the world .. I THINK IT’S A CLEAR NO. So please stop talking more about obama… America is just one more country in the world… there are two hundred more contries in the world… obama cant be superior than the president in Maldives… nor he can be inferior than the president in Iran… everyone should be equal.. But will that really happen?

A letter to Prabakaran

(This is a personal letter written by me to Mr. Prabakaran. We both live in a small island in the Indian Ocean….)

Dearest Mr. Prabakaran,

How are you doing Mr. Prabakaran? Hope you’re in good conditions? How is your family.. Give my regards to your wife and your children? So Mr. Prabakaran if you just wonder who am I and why am i writing a letter to you.. Well. I’m nifraz from Colombo… This was something that i have been trying do for a long time... right now I’m glad and excited about writing a letter for you…

So how can I start my letter…well…? People may call you in different ways.. a terrorist or what ever I don’t care …. Because for me… you are one of the most influential personalities in my life.. For god’s sake you are engaged in something that you really believe in which I really don’t want to comment about. Right now you are leading a war for more than three centuries in sri lanka.. I really don’t know how do you do this.. i mean with minor facilities how do you manage to get all these thinks done? How do you get all these funds? How do you have your own soldiers? How do you have you own troops on the sea, sky and land? How do you train them? How do you guide all those units so successfully? How do you run this war so effectively? How do you fight against a country or rather a government who has the rest of the worlds support so bravely? i have no idea.. How do you do this Mr. Prabakaran? Even the government finds it difficult to run this war with all these international and national support? Now how do you do this? What’s the secret?

You have always been one of my heroes.. I admire your leadership skills? I respect your bravery? I love your straight forwardness. I think you have influenced a lot of people to make your dream come true.. So you are indeed a great leader... there should be no doubt about that? How did you get all these skills? Who trained you? coz i think that i lack those assertive skills? I’m proud of you.. cuz both of us are born in the same country.... but…………............... why are we separated... why are we not living together peacefully? Why are we divided Mr. Prabakaran? Tell me…… I personally think that your a great asset to our country.. i personally think that our country is missing your brain, your master plans... your talents big time... coz if you were with us we could have used them to make this country better....i mean to develop this country… cuz I see you as a talented sri Lankan….

But Mr. Prabakaran…I really don’t know why we are divided? .. You might have valid reasons to back them up.. i really respect your thoughts... i will not interfere with them.. cuz only a person who had suffered with a problem would know the exact pain of it.. so i have no say on it... I mean for the reason for our so called separation….beside i was not even born at that time.. Even now I’m not even bothered to know about it... but why are we divided? is it just for piece of land? Mr. Prabakaran… correct me if I’m wrong… cuz I’m just like your son… still learning about the world… why are we fighting with each other? is it just for power Mr. Prabakaran? Why are we just infighting for power? Tell me.... does power give us happiness? ... or are we just fighting for land? what can we do with land? As humans aren’t we born here to live happily? So does land give us happiness? Well if that was the case my aunty has 30 perches of land in Colombo.. but she’s still not happy… she is sad because her son is in UK , studying,

Mr. Prabakaran…There have been a lot of people who have ruled the world with power in the past? You know…. I learned them at school for history lessons….are those powerful people living now? no…. so why are we fighting for a temporary thing? why cant we live together Mr. Prabakaran... there are hundreds of countries in the world... but for what reason are we born in this country? did you decide or did i decide ? no ..Nobody.. just think did i want to be born in this island? No... Just in case if my mother delivered me to the world in US... i would be an American. if that was the case i would never bother about sri lanka... but why am i born here in sri lanka... there should be some reason... isn’t this a wonderful land... rich in everything.... i love this land because I was born here... that should be the reason on your case too… we should have the right to do what ever we want to do in this land… cuz its our land…

Mr. Prabakaran…you can change your religion.. Spouse … name … cloth.. Car … house…. If you don’t like it… But no one can change their country and their mother…... i also know it applies to you too... cuz you are also born here… we are all sri Lankans…. Maybe if we both were born one thousands years ago we would be Thaprobanians… or maybe Serendebians… the name of the land might change… but it’s the same old island.. Isn’t it? You know Mr. Prabakaran i would love to come for dinner to your place... i would also love to invite you to my place... you know my mother makes this beans curry… and it’s really tasty... I would love to offer that curry to you.. I’m sure you would love them… But why can’t we do that now? What has stopped us doing that? Well.. Mr. Prabakaran…the time is also running very fast….well… some day we all be dead... hypothetically speaking in another fifty years you wont be living. Would you? Even if I lived for hundred years.. By 2075 i will also be dead... life is so short and precious.. and precious things are all limited... so we are in this world for a reason and for a very short period.. so why cant we spent this short period together...with love and harmony? Why Mr. Prabakaran... is this war that we are fighting really worthwhile? i don’t know? now if i said something offensive please forgive me... because i really don’t want to hurt anybody... cuz one day when we die its just the grave which would shelter us. and its just a very small space. Isn’t it? On that day if we could talk we would defiantly blame ourselves for wasting our time as humans living in this land… because none of us created this land? We just got it as a gift….so we should protect this land together…..

So Mr. Prabakaran that’s all for now... wish you good health and happiness.. coz that’s what we humans are all looking forward in life... so I wish you the same….. good health and happiness…I’ll write to you later... until then may god bless you...

Women…. The Symbol of Ugliness

Let me ask you one simple question? Which gender is more beautiful… men or women…Obviously I know that men are not beautiful but handsome… but which sex is the most beautiful among them…men or woman? I think woman… no… men …..Hmm.. Don’t you think that it’s just something to think about? Most probably you would tell that women are the most beautiful among both.. Well.. Women are pretty.. I agree.. That would be the general answer? But think a bit… are women the most beautiful…? I repeat…. The most? I have a doubt here… coz if women were the most beautiful among both genders, why do women worry about their beauty more than men? If they were really beautiful why should they spend so much of money on getting beautiful… its not that men are not obsessed about their appearance.. I’m just talking In general… normally women spend more than men on improving their beauty… why do they do it? Is it because women are ugly? Are women the symbol of ugliness… a secret that they never admit?

Now if you look at the animal world… who do you think is the most beautiful? The male animal or the female animal… ok let me make it easy for you… do we like a peacock or peahen? Do we like a lion or a lioness? Obviously the answer would be the lion and the peacock now isn’t those two animal’s males? Now if the male animal was considered as the beautiful creature in the animal world what about humans? Aren’t men beautiful? Are we an exception? I have no idea? But if women were considered beautiful, why would women worry about their appearance so much… Beauty is a characteristic of a person that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure, meaning or satisfaction. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" In its most profound sense, beauty may engender a salient experience of positive reflection about the meaning of one's own existence.. Beauty is a natural thing… if beauty is a natural thing why do women die to get it artificially? Why do women spend millions and millions on beauty products… why do women never leave home without their make up.. Why do women spend a huge portion of their salary on cloths and beauty products? Why do woman change their hair styles very often… why do women paint their nails on different colors? Why do women go to beauty parlors once in every other month? Why do women dress in skimpy, provocative clothing, regardless of the weather? Why do women worry about their cloths all the time? Why women are never satisfied with their beauty? Why do women spend hours and hours front of the mirror.. Well if you wonder why.. I have no idea.. I’m just a man?

I still don’t understand why my sister is having a time looking for a matching earring… I have no idea why my mother, always worry about having grey hair? I still don’t know why my female office friends wear revealing outfits to office, showing off miles and miles of flesh free of charge.. Haven’t they gone through the office dress code policy? I have no idea… have you ever seen a single woman on the street with their natural hair.. No…I don’t think so… either its straightened, re-bonded or curled… so why do women try to be something that they are really not… I think that women are trying to be beautiful just because they think that they’re NOT.. Hmm… how insecure are women? Insecure? I don’t understand…. Well… as a man.. I don’t think that women are ugly… maybe male animals are beautiful than the female animals.. But as a man and a human... I think that women are beautiful.. Its not that women are ugly.. Its just that woman feel that they are ugly…and women also know that a BEAUTIFUL WOMAN is the weak point of man… so women try to grab the males attention unnecessarily and fall in to trouble.. Finally they blame on man? How unfair is that? … Well if that was the case are only beautiful women lived happily ever after… I don’t think so… coz my mother is not a beauty queen… but she is the most beautiful women for me? I’m single and looking for a partner… and for god’s sake I’m not looking forward to marry a beauty queen either…for heaven’s sake I cant afford to take her to the salon every week.. Normally what men are looking on a women is different… a loving, caring, trust worthy person…Not an artificial beauty parlor.. As soon as your girl friend takes off her make up the beauty would fade away.. Just because, her beauty is gone, will men reject women? Sadly that’s what most of the women think…….. But it doesn’t mean that men don’t appreciate beauty… its just that women have got the message wrong…..

What’s Wrong with Living Together?

I had a good friend which happened to be a girl. She wasn’t my girl friend but one of my best female friends… her name was Sonia… I met her during my A/L classes. Although she was dark she was pretty as a flower and innocent as a kitten. She was the women that any man would die to marry. Sadly back then I didn’t have the slightest idea of marriage. If I had, most probably I would have had proposed to her. Time passed and we departed… but few months back I met Sonia at a shopping mall with a bump.. “Hello Sonia, how are you. After long time isn’t it. So how’s life?” I had to ask the same old questions. Yeah! She looked pretty but pregnant this time.. Surprisingly there was a strange man standing next to him.. “Bodyguard” I thought. I was wrong. It was her man.. The lucky fellow… how lucky was he? I felt jealous about him since I was still single.. After a brief talk we departed for the second time in life

Few days back I met another friend. She was neither Sonia nor her man. I met Sarah, one of my high school friends. I was shocked on what she told me about Sonia. “What? I couldn’t believe my eyes; I was grief stricken for a moment. “No… that can’t happen?” I protested. “Are you kidding” finally I came back to the real world.. What that man had abandoned Sonia with a child.. What are you talking about? What the hell happened? How come… what was wrong with them? Why did he leave?” I questioned. “What was wrong with her Husband?” I told my friend “Husband… What husband are you talking about? Sarah looked at my eyes “Sonia was not married. She was living together with him…” Sarah replied. “Living together?” I was shocked. “Was she mad? …oh know? Now what?” I was desperate. Well the man had flown to UK secretly…”Sarah went on.

Well this is what happened to my friend who lived together with her mate for few months... Living together… Well what’s all about this living together thing.. Every one wants to live together.. Don’t you think that it’s a good thing? But what went wrong with my friend? I thought. Is it wrong? Is it normal? Is it a bad thing.. I don’t know.. But what I all know is that young couples do live together.. They think that test-driving a relationship by sharing one roof is the perfect solution to experience love. If it works out, great! If not, no harm done…. Wait a second.. Maybe that’s applied only to the males I guess… Damage does occur when couples choose to live together. Marriage cements love with a commitment. Living together leaves you vulnerable, causing you to doubt the level of your partner’s dedication. It’s just a short-term solution...sorry… short term satisfaction… If you’re not ready to get married, do you really think you’re ready to live together?

Nowadays living together has been a fashionable thing as young boys and girls are so much used to this new behavior.. I have no idea where this came from… They want to see how a family life is? They want to experiment it…So they come and share one roof just as a trial… sadly the roof is not the only thing that they share… everything from head to toe is shared.. for sometime It might look fun.. Entertaining and refreshing… so the couple gets to know all about their mate… and obviously no human is perfect… but here people tend to find others faults… and they feel that this experiment isn’t going to work….the trial becomes boring… the man feels like reading a different news paper.. he moves on… now how can you blame that man.. For god’s sake, he was just experimenting… the poor girl gets lost.. No offense.. but I have to say this…normally a man is looking forward for a so called living together just to satisfy his wild desires free of charge… there might be exceptional cases.. but what most men don’t understand is that woman makes this an opportunity to have a deep relationship..

Initially they might take it easily… but at one point the female sex, plans an entire life with this so called partner in her mind … she would think that this is him… prince charming… she would sacrifice everything for him.. she wouldn’t even mind having his baby on her womb.. but what if he leaves… how can she stop him? What is the legal bond between them.. Who would come to her support ? .. What if that person, finds another woman and repeat the same thing again? I mean experiment… Can you blame him? How can she stop him? What will help out.. Love… another night with him.. Trust…. Loyalty.. Well that’s the big question… so how safe is living together? I have no idea.. but for now I’m so sad about my friend, Sonia … why couldn’t she think about this before.. What would happen to the child? Will that man return… but for god’s sake.. Weren’t they living together…yes… they were.. but who said that they were living forever… hmm… that’s something to think about?
