Yehey!! In a previous post I mentioned about problems I'm having using my android smart phone to tether to my laptop for an internet connection. Yesterday I spoke to a co-worker and he suggested I do a factory reset on my smart phone and FoxFi software. When I came home from work last night, I was able to work on trying to use the internet connection on my smart phone to connect to the internet using my laptop. I am very happy to say that last night I was successful in finally making the connection. I originally sent junefabrics.com a support question about this problem and they told me to use the WiFi connection since the USB connection did not work. I tried the WiFi connection but I got an error message saying It wasn't supported so I sent them another email. After 2 weeks without a reply, I got impatient so I tried using the bluetooth device and was able to get it. I recently purchased a bluetooth adapter from Best Buy for about $20 dollars. It's made by Rocketfish. This software is cool. It really works. I will refer this software to some co-workers at work who have smartphones. If you have a laptop and want to have internet connection wherever you go, you can use the FoxFi software to share your phones internet connection with your laptop. It's free.

Argghhh! Everyday it's a dilemma about what are we gonna have for lunch and dinner and everyday my wife and I can't seem to figure out what to make. As head of the household, I always feel pressured to make something that everyone can enjoy but I'm not a professional chef so I rely heavily on the web to help we come up with ideas on what to make for my wife and kids. It's really expensive these days to buy food outside the house that's already made like burgers, mexican food, chinese food, things like that but many times we have no choice because our kids are really picky about what they eat. Last night I didn't have any meat thawed out so I took out some crossed-rib steak and found a great Korean barbecue recipe on food network that looked good but it won't be ready till tomorrow since it has to marinate. Here are some pictures of it though and I can give the recipe if anyone want's it. I'm sure this will taste great because most people who wrote reviews gave this recipe 5 stars. I was totally amazed with the remodeled bath and kitchen on my friend’s simple home cottage. A simple yet elegant creation is really incomparable. All its interiors and all the finishing touches were fabulous and gorgeous. She said she got this design services that actually offer a great deals, remodeling all her stuff in the kitchen and also in her bathroom. Every day, my wife's tasks are countless. Multitasking is her everyday function. That is why after all the weary task that she had, her spare time was spend on leisureliness. Guess what? One of the things my wife loved about living here in the states is that she have all the access to many goodies and different treats, and shower it to her family back home in the Philippines. We miss them terribly and sending them some goodies every now and then is our way of telling them that they’re always in our mind. The only problem is that, most of the time she lack space in the box that not all the items that she’s suppose to include will be ship. She used to find it so hard putting everything inside, she attempts to turn stuffs upside down just to try them fit in the box, until she met those useful shrink wrap bags as the answer to my problem. It’s so ideal for securing packages. When it comes to edible items, it’s a nice secondary packaging, for the goodies not to spoil and protects against any other dangers during the shipment. Plus of course, it’s also a great way to save spaces. Like you can place several items in one bag and they all fit in! Now she’s no longer getting headaches when packing the boxes. Shrink bags are just so useful; she always keep them in handy.

I’m into so much writing nowadays that I miss reading already. I mean, it’s a two-way street but sometimes, it feels nice to actually read other people’s thoughts and writings. Anyway, there are lots of different materials popping through the computer screen. Some are about home and gardening, articles about DIY hobbies, on travels, and a little weird stuff as well. While other are about food supplements like EPIMEDIUM, ginseng, etc. Oh well, I don’t know what exactly to read, I just hope I can find something very interesting here and might as well share it with my readers.

My wife and I have been seriously thinking about buying a tablet computer for my two children so they won't be nagging to borrow our smart phones all the time to play angry birds. One of the problems we have is that if we just buy one tablet, they will both be fighting over it. But we don't want to buy a tablet that has slow performance or the bare bones special at the local Walmart. The reason is because my wife will use it when she and the kids take their vacation next year in the Philippines. Originally I told my wife I wanted an Ipad tablet but after reading and comparing reviews of the Ipad and the Samsung galaxy, I decided on purchasing the Samsung galaxy because according to the reviews, The Samsung galaxy is much faster when surfing the web. It has great battery life, better than the Ipad for folks who know how computers work and operate, Apps market is smaller than apples but more substantial, very light and can be held in one hand or two if your typing like on a cell phone, has great hot spot capability, has usb connections and flash support, built-in camera, I heard the graphics were very impressive based on the reviews. Most of the reviews I had seen on Ebay gave it between 4 -5 stars. Consumer reports ranked this as the second best tablet other than the Ipad tablet. I'm sold on this tablet for the value and capabilities which is perfect for our situation. Of course I would like to buy and Ipad but it will have to wait till the prices come down a little.

Below are some tips on creating a good father/child relationship:

1. Play Sports With Your Kid

Playing sports helps children build self-confidence. Sports also help keep children fit and healthy. You should take at least one hour out of your day to play a sport with your child. Your child does not even have to be a member of a sports team. All you need is a backyard or a park. Playing catch or tag with your child is a great way for the two of you to strengthen the relationship.

2. Read To Your Children

3. Help Out With Homework

For a Father, a single smile from a son could make all those drained duties vanished. You guys agree with that, don’t you? What excites me the most is seeing my son happy in his very moment would be a great chapter in my life. The fulfilled obligation can be seen through the child’s accomplishments and achievements. That is the reason I want to have his Graduation Day a spectacular event of his life. I’d like to surprise him this coming June for it will be his commencement school affair. Even though it is his first graduation day, I would like him to remember that special moment for the rest of his life.

But wait, a surprise party will not be in full if there are no guests, right?

For now, I will be choosing a perfect invitation for them. I’d like it simple yet adorable. Although there are lots of selections to choose from those offered graduation invitations in the Internet, however, I’ll have my son’s favorite cover skins without noticing it’s for him. I could let him choose from those colorful animal prints, school color covers those personalized cards and many more. In that way I could have just the thing I wanted for his friends and ours too. An announcement shall be made through that chic and simple card for my son’s remarkable moment. Of course it’s not just all of that, the food, the place, the programs and many more shall be all there. Honestly, the pressure will be there but for sure, the cheerfulness my son will experience will help it fade away.

I guess setting all of this stuff shall be coordinated with my friends too. First thing we have to concentrate is the graduation invitations, since it is the most important part of the party.

Blogging after 5 years has it's rewards

I'm just amazed at how far my wife has come with her blogging. I can remember when she first came here to the united states she would use the computer to chat with some friends and family or she would do girly things like online shopping for clothes or purses or shoes. I think she's now reached her limit on the last two items I mentioned since the closet is full of these items. Anyways, I remember when she was just starting out and she only had a few regular advertisers she depended on for work. It was a part time job and the income was enough to help pay for gas for the car or buy a little food here and there I think. Now, after 5 years, I see her blogging business has really grown into a full time job and requires a lot of commitment on her part. At least now her blogs have more exposure and she gets to talk more frequently with advertisers. I like reading her articles because I find them to be interesting and worthwhile unlike mine which I have a hard time finding something interesting to talk about and capture my readers attention. I don't know. Maybe I just wasn't cut out to write good content in my blogs. Good content means getting more internet traffic to your blog which means more recognition and exposure which means more bringing home more money to help pay the bills. I can remember when I used to talk to my wife about finding ways to bring in more traffic to our blogs. I would ponder for hours on end thinking of some advertising that would help us to increase our Google page rank or I would try to think of how google determines page rank. Eventually i just gave up because only Mr. Google nows the secret and won't allow anyone to know it's secret.

Childrens imagination with toys

The other day I saw a message/photo tagged posted on Facebook from my wife. She enjoys posting photos of my kids while they are minding there business playing with their toys. So when I received a tag that my wife posted a pic of my son, I opened it up and was laughing at the picture my wife posted. Apparently my son was playing with a toy animal zebra from the movie "Madagascar" and he had some toy dinosaurs and put the in front of the zebra to make it look like the zebra was scared of the dinosaurs. It was so funny to see it so I had to post this. My son positioned the toy animals on my wife's desktop just the way you see them and my wife was laughing so much. My son really has a creative imagination and he really is growing up so much. So any comments would be nice. My BPC entry!

There’s nothing much to do, just browsing for some random stuff in here. Clicked several links and look where I’m at now, I’m seeing a lot of throat microphone, patrol headsets and other military and tactical gadgets. Surely, am not going to be needing this kind of stuff but someone came across my mind. My brother-in-law, he’s a policeman and often needs to deal with things like this. He’s the youngest in the family, he's my wife's youngest brother, now a fully-grown man with a thrilling and dangerous job. If am not mistaken, he underwent several specialized schoolings to improve skills for specialized operations.

It’s a one tough job he has but he seems to enjoy it as well. I could be asking him about his experiences during operations but chooses not to. My wife is scared and it’s not her cup of tea, never will it be. Watching action movies is pretty much enough to give us the idea about my brother-in-law’s job. There’s so many twist and turns, full of ups and downs, the good side and the bad. It could be exciting but indeed very demanding and I bet there’s more to it and beyond.

Terrible two's child behavior

As a father of 2 children, one thing I have learned is that 2 yrs olds can get into lot of trouble if you don't watch them very closely. I was stuck watching my 2 yr old daughter while my wife went out and delivered some homemade lumpia to one of our friends and then she went to her favorite Walmart store to pick up some things. I was in our bedroom doing work on my computer when I heard what sounded like a cup from the bathroom so I called my daughter briannah to ask what she was doing. She said she cleaning. I didn't like the sound of that so I quickly jumped up and ran to the bathroom to see if she got into the bathroom. Nope. She was in her room but then I smelled a funny smell like it was baby cologne. I walked into her bedroom and looked at the play slide and sure enough, my daughter had gotten into the bottle of baby cologne and sprayed it all over the slide. I was so mad at her because the previous day she had done the same thing and she didn't learn any lesson even after we disciplined her that day. So I had to discipline her. Before this previous days mischief, she had gotten into the jar of petroleum jelly and wiped it all over the rear patio glass door, all over herself and any other place you can think of. Urggghhh. My daughter is just not listening even with all the discipline we give her. What will it take for her to understand?

I am a living proof that matching website really works. I actually found my wife online 7 years ago. Now we are happily married and we have our own two beautiful children, a boy (our eldest) who will be turning 6 years old in a couple of months and a girl (our youngest) who will be turning 3 soon. Some pet owners treated their pets more than their own family. I remember one of the guys I seen on the news, he was being interviewed about his dog and he even said that he misses his dog more than his mom. Can you believe that? I was shocked when I first heard it uttered by that man, but then I realized that it’s really different here in America compared to where I grew up, in the Philippines. Many people over here sought guidance from Pets Aware Pet Shop and Pet Care on how to give proper care for their pets, unlike in the country I came from; pet owners don’t really care about their pets.

Here in America, people who mistreated their pets can go to jail. It’s by law that pets must have complete and up-to-date vaccinations; others insured their pets for any possible health issues. And believe it or not, some pets here in America are so fortunate that they inherited financial wealth from their owners. That’s how much they love their pets over here. My children asks us if they can have pets, we want them to have at least a cat or a dog, but since the landlord of our apartment don’t allow us to have one, we’ll have put their wishes on hold until we get our own house.

I can't stand it when I come home from work and my kids are hounding at me saying "Daddy can I use your phone" . Whats up with these kids and the technology that has come apart of our lives today? My kids are hooked on our smartphone. My wife has an Apple Iphone 4 and I have a Pantech with the Android operating system. Our kids are always using our phones. My daughter is the hardest because if she doesn't get her way, she starts balling her eye's out and won't stop till she get's one of our phones. She's hooked on the angry birds app even though she doesn't know exactly what the purpose of the game is. So when we went to Walmart yesterday, my wife and I went to the electronics department to look at the various tablets they have on display. Not much of a selection and only one had a color screen. Ohhh Wow, this is my favorite department in the whole store. Anyways, they were sold out of the one we wanted which is the one with the color screen so my wife decided to look online when we got home. I searched online last night for the cheapest but best brands. I haven't decided what model to buy yet but it will cost a few hundred dollars and I don't like the idea of giving a 2 year old a $300 dollar electronic device. I found an Amazon Kindle fire for just under $200 dollars which isn't too bad.

Another cool tablet I found was the Creative Ziio with the 10'' screen. It has an impressive 1040 x 600 screen resolution. Also just under $200 dollars. Another model I found to be worth the money was the Lenovo Ideapad A1. Also for $199. Im not sure which one I will get but I'll discuss it with my wife so we can fix the problem with our smart phones being used by our kids all the time. Any ideas my readers cxan recommend would be very helpful.

You spent hours scouring the racks finding the perfect dress for your daughter. Your son asked his long-time crush to go with her, and she accepted. Prom night is one of the most exciting nights in your teen’s life. As a rite of passage, you want to give her freedom on this special night, but you want her coming home safe too. There are some things you should discuss with your teen before he or she leaves your doorstep.

Binge Drinking
You might think your kids wouldn’t drink, but prom night is a special, once-in-a-lifetime event. Talking about binge drinking in advance can help curb desire and help teens resist pressure. Running over a list of boring statistics isn’t going to have any impact. You can talk until you’re blue in the face, but your son or daughter won’t hear a thing.

Sex

Kids can have such an imagination it's just amazing what they can do. I'm always fascinated when I see my son draw something new. My daughter is just 2 years old so she's still learning to draw. My son came up to my wife the other day and told her, "mommy, I want to draw" so my wife gave my son some pen and a notebook full of paper. After about 15 minutes my son came back up to my wife and said, "here mommy, this is an ant and you and your crying" And my wife said, But why am I crying? And my son said, Because you won't listen to the ant. Hehehe. Silly boy. Here is the drawing my son did of my wife and an ant.

Every sport has some sort of safety concern to go along with it. You have to know how to play a particular sport properly before you decide to play it. A lot of injuries occur when someone decides to get involved in a sport their not familiar with, demonstrates improper technique, and hurts themselves in the process. You don’t have to become an expert on every sport under the sun; you just have to know how to do things within the sport properly so you don’t hurt yourself because you attempted to move your body in a way that’s unnatural. Some sports are pretty obvious like basketball while others involve a surprising amount of technique like football and baseball. There are some intricacies to basketball, but the motions involved in shooting, passing, and defending are pretty self-explanatory. If you don’t attempt to play above the rim, you should have very little risk of hurting yourself.

When you’re picking out a sport to play, you have to locate experts in each sport. You should talk to them first. They will show you the finer points of their sport and tell you what you’re doing wrong. Every sport has some sort of clinic or camp system that helps players get better. Your experience at camp will depend entirely on the instructors and your capabilities. Some instructors won’t give you honest criticism and those people are usually easy to point out. You should not get discouraged if you do get injured. It’s part of the game. Spend as much time as you need to recover from your injury and then get back in there. Some players are weary when they come back because they don’t want to end up injured again. The injury bug could strike again and it could not. You shouldn’t let it affect your game.
