He called me out of the blue from jail. I couldn't believe it but he actually got his rifle out and shot his lawn mower. I said, "Keith, what were you thinking." He said, "The da**n thing wouldn't start!" I couldn't believe he went to prison for murdering his lawn mower....but he did. This rings of Supreme Court action to me. Here's his sad but compelling story. Hang in there Keith.

If you ever come to Georgia, you have to see (and climb) Stone Mountain. You can see the engraving on the side of the mountain in this picture. It's a breath-taking sight and even more awesome in person. Also, it is a lot of fun just to watch all the people coming and going as the crowds there get pretty huge. While we were enjoying our picnic lunch and watching all the people, we noticed a Filipino family not too far from us. So I, (the Am in Fil-Am) using my excellent knowledge of Tagalog, approached them and said, "Sa Pilipinas po kayo?" They looked at this American in shock that I knew their language and politely answered, "Oo!" I waved at Debbie to come and meet them and as you can see in the picture below we ended up eating together and making new friends.

It ended up a great afternoon and evening at Stone Mountain which culminated in the world famous Laser Show. We can't wait to go back soon and this time, we will climb the mountain.....or take the trolly(lol). If you are ever in Georgia.....

They provide hardware, software, and service offerings that are most often used to create the Internet solutions that make networks possible. This company currently employs more than 65,000 people worldwide and is one of the most innovative corporations in the world. For IT professionals, knowing Cisco and Cisco systems is mandatory. It can't be stressed enough the clout and credibility behind a Cisco certification.

Cisco offers a variety of certifications including:

Routing & Switching

Design

Security

Service Provider

Storage Networking

Voice

Wireless

In addition to the above, there are certifications in areas such as security, IP telephony, and wireless. A Cisco certification, such as one of those shown above, will give any IT professional or even anyone interested in knowing more about computers and computer systems, a distinct advantage and a step ahead of the competition. A Cisco certification will always give anyone the advantage they need in the IT world. Even if you are not in the IT world at present but are considering a career or a career change, be sure to check out Cisco's website on the link above. The IT world is growing by leaps and bounds and as technology changes, so do the certification demands to keep up with the technology. Cisco offers these programs to add credibility and bring valuable, measurable rewards to networking professionals, their managers, and the organizations that employ them.

Just click on the above link and you will be taken to Cisco's learning website which outlines their certification programs. You will also find career advice and guidance to those wishing to enter this field. I would highly recommend the certification programs as a way to either start or jump-start and advance your career in the in-demand world of computers and computer systems.

Evidently the rabbit was scratching furiously at their bedroom door and awoke them, thus warning them of the fire inside their home. Our fellow countrymen have been bullied by pirates and are now held captive off the coast of Somolia which has a reputation of being chaotic to begin with. There has always been the "Is it safe?" question and many people today still wonder if it is a good alternative for them. The answer is, "Yes, it is safe" and "Probably, it is a good alternate." LASIK surgery has been one of the most tracked and studied surgeries by scientists and doctors. The results have been astounding.........according to studies, 95.4% of LASIK patients worldwide are satisfied with their results. Those are impressive numbers! In addition, studies have shown that less than 1% of LASIK patients develop complications such as dry eye, halos & double vision. Even many of these resolve over time. So is it safe? Kerry D. Solomon, M.D. a world-renowned ophthalmologist and refractive surgeon said,"Today’s modern LASIK delivers superior safety and better visual results than ever before.”

Only about 20-25% of patients wanting the surgery are not eligible. There are a variety of reasons for this. Some people have thin, irregularly shaped corneas while others simply have unrealistic expectations. For the most part, LASIK is a viable option for most people. If you are interested in getting more LASIK information or learning if it is right for you, then click on the above link and you will be taken to a website that can answer all your questions. LASIK surgery is a great option for people who are tired of wearing contacts or glasses and seek to have better vision without any aid. The scientist who issued the above warning says he is not waiting and wants his whole staff to limit cell phone use...especially around children. If cell phone usage really does cause cancer, think about what life will be like in 15-20 years. Parents are giving cell phones to their kids to use at such a young age, these are kids today that will have cancer before they are 30. Something to ponder..........cell phones......the alien conspiracy to thin out Earth's population. Maybe? Here's the story.

We have a local field devoted to paintballing games as well as a practice area and every chance I get, I go. One thing I have discovered is the difference in the quality of the paintball equipment and gear you use and how it can affect your game.

I recently discovered a site devoted to paintball equipment and gear called Ultimate Paintball. They have the best selling paintball guns such as Tippmann A5 , Tippmann 98 Custom, Smart Parts Ion, Spyder Pilot ACS and many more. In addition, they sell paintball gear at the best prices. If you are a paintball freak like me or interested in getting involved in the game, then it is essential you have the right equipment. I would encourage you to click on any of the above links and discover why Ultimate Paintball is the best source for all your paintball equipment gear needs.

John Edwards was caught visiting his mistress and secret love child at 2:4oam in a Los Angeles hotel. He VP'd for John Kerry and now a VP candidate for Obama, Edwards seems to parade himself as, once again, above the law. This story broke in the National Inquirer and so the credibility meter is not moving too fast but the rumors have been flying for years about Edwards and this tabloid magazine seems to want to prove its reality. I know first hand that Alzheimers cripples a person's memory and can even dangerously affect their behavior. The Alzheimer's Association is calling for help in sponsoring Memory Walks in your local communities. These are typically 2-3 mile walks usually held in the Fall. They are walks with a purpose as they help raise money to go toward alzheimers care, support and research. The cure is the goal and these walks go a long way toward providing the funds as well as inspiration for many.

The Alzheimer's Association is calling on volunteers of all ages to become champions in the fight against Alzheimer's. I would encourage you to click on the above link and read more about the Association, the Walk and most importantly how volunteers are needed to continue to push toward the solution which is a world free of Alzheimer's. If you have a loved one touched by this disease or know of someone who does, it will pay dividends to get involved. I would encourage you to get involved today!
