Morgan, I was struck by your honesty with yourself. I was also struck by the fact that it looks like you would make a great entrepreneur. Have you given any thought to the idea? I mention this because you prefer having your own space. I did too. But I didn’t realize until way later in life that that is a strong indicator of an exceptional independent businessperson. Morgan, I hope you remember me from your days in Tunis. I was Soccer’s first mom! Recently, I had a slumber party for my 9 year-old son, and it reminded me of the one you had in Tunis. I wrote your mom, and she gave me the link to your blog.

Reading your most recent post, it reminded me of how I’d de-stress in college. I didn’t have a TV (and I’m so old that there were no PCs back in those days). Instead, I re-read children’s books, like “Winnie the Pooh,” “Pippi Longstocking,” and others which could make reading feel like easy fun rather than work. So once again, you’ve taken me back in time! The best part is that I now read these books to my son, too.

Take care, and enjoy those cartoon! BTW, “Sponge Bob Square Pants” is my equivalent of two martinis after work — fewer calories and way more therapeutic than alcohol!

Hi Morgan: I feel your pain! Email is a great invention, yet between my personal and my work email I feel I am continuously checking, flagging and deleting emails. I have no vacation from my inbox! At the IT department we setup limits to mailboxes to better manage resources. That does not mean we review and often grant increases to mailbox size, especially in cases like yours. Morgan I totally know what you are talking about. I wish students leaders had a larger mail box capacity. I have about 4 or 5 emails everytime I check (and I check atleast 3 times a day)…it really adds up!
