I've been taking notice of this smart little addition to boots over the past couple of months and the more I see it, the more I like it. It seems like a great way to be both fashionable and cozy. A feat that can be challenging as the weather cools. Buster features a soft suede upper and 4 inch siletto heel and Gadget features gorgeous cognac leather and a delightful cone shaped heel. The socks look like they could be tucked away too which would make them transition well into an evening look. Up for day, down for night. I like it.

Apparently the folks over at heels.com are puzzled. A boot, which I had taken notice of, because it was flat and black and well many of you know all about my mission there is flying off the shelves. No one at heels is a big fan. I'm not a fan either. But it seems that there are a lot of people who are, especially since I've been told zappos.com can hardly keep them in stock either. I was searching through my shoes the other day trying to find a pair that would work with what I was going to wear to the office and thought "Okay, I definitely need to pull in the reigns on the peep toes." I've got A. LOT. of peep toe pumps. A. LOT. It's time to bulk up the closed toe portion of my shoe collection so that means I'm tearing my eyes away from the peeps. Let's hope I'm successful.

Lucky for me L.A.M.B. has got some crazy hot pumps and here is the first pair I've got my eye on.

I first spied these little beauties in blue on heels.com (I know. Gorgeous, right?) But it's really the tan that caught my eye. I'm not sure why. I'm not typically drawn to neutrals but that tan hue just seems to work itself so seamlessly into the shape. That upturned lip shape that seems to be all the rage. Plus check out the side view.

In a word. Stunning. The stingray upper is key. It truly makes this shoe. According to one of my cyber friends and fellow bloggers, stingray will be a key trend in the upcoming seasons. I"m not sure if you're familiar with this particular material but it is incredibly resilient. I've spent lots of time inspecting it while my husband shops for cowboy boots. The addition of the metal heel is pure genius and the shape is fierce. Seriously. These are crazy hot!

Ho hum. I've been feeling rather blah over the past couple of days. It's a combination of things. From the craptastic weather we've been having lately (seriously have not seen the sun in two days) to a general discontentment with a variety of things. This blog has been my saving grace as of late and I just want to say thank you to all of you who continue to ~~look at the pretty pictures~~ read, and visit, and follow this thing that I love. I did not create this blog to vent but there is something so cathartic about laying it all out there to a bunch of strangers. I'm not sure I'm ready to do that just yet so instead I'll feature a shoe that matches my mood, at least in color anyway.

BCBGirls - Dante Pump

Despite the fact that I need a red peep toe pump (I already have two pairs) like I need a hole in the head I REALLY want these. Let's see...how can I justify this...? The other two pairs are patent leather and these are suede. This pair has a platform and I don't have a red peep toe platform pump. Only one of the pairs I own is wearable right now due to a broken strap. Also there is the tres fab silver and black crystal stud accents on these that make them much different the the others I already own. What do you think ladies? Did I miss anything? It may take some convincing but I think I can make it work.
