Carrot Rice Pudding means Gajjar (Carrot) Kheer (Rice Pudding) it is an asian sweet dish that is widely eaten. This is the same as rice pudding but with grated carrots added in. Personally, I find this rice dessert the best because it's tasty and it's healthy (that's without sugar added), it can also be a good dish given to babies with or without sugar, as it is soft to eat.

Ingredients include;
Rice 1/4 of a cup
Milk 1.5 litre
Carrots 3 Large or 5 medium sized
Sugar 1/4 of a cup
Cardamom 3 seeds (Optional)

Method

Soak the rice for about an hour and then peel and grate the carrots using a grater (it would be best to grate in the saucepan you are going to cook the kheer in) cook the carrots for about 8 to 10 minutes on medium heat and you will notice some of them will go a lighter colour.

After that add in all of the milk into the saucepan you can also add in cardamom seeds this will just enhance the flavour with cardamom and is optional and cook for about 20 minutes and stir frequently in between when carrots are cooked and can break easily you can add the rice, but before that you need to rinse the water out of the rice and crush the rice with your hand or fingers this is done because the rice can cook quickly plus the rice will puff up. It is not important to crush every single grain just do what you can, and then add in the rice and let it cook making sure it does not stick to the bottom of the saucepan. Let the kheer cook but make sure you are mixing constantly the kheer will make bubbles.

Finally, add in the sugar and mix well making sure the rice is cooked and the milk has gone to the right consistency for kheer. Then turn the gas off when the kheer has thickened and the milk has lessened significantly to make it look like kheer.

Then there you have it, your gajjar ki kheer is ready you can eat it warm or you can eat it cold with some yoghurt.

Lip lacquers and matte liquid lipsticks are very popular nowadays. I have been trying lip lacquers from the brand MUA I bought three shades from Superdrug these retail for £3 each which I think is a very good and affordable price. I have seen online MUA have a lot of colours from nudes, reds, pinks, browns, and even black blue and purple they have some very unique colours but I stuck with getting everyday wear colours and dark ones.

They apply easily and once they are dry which is within a minutes they feel matte and velvety on the lips it feels as though I have got nothing on my lips and it is very lightweight. Also, they do not smudge at all.
I drank and ate and found that the lip colour did start to remove from the inner section of my lips making them look like they need a reapplication. When drinking tea it removes a lot because of the heat of the tea. Even when I did not eat and drink I did notice it would still remove from the inner section of my lips so it was not very long lasting.
They are easy to remove if you use micellar water, it will get all over your face with wipes (with me this happens). The product has a very sweet berry mixed with honey type of smell to it.

First shade Hustle
The colour is absolutely stunning a dark brown perfect for autumn but can be worn all throughout the year. This is a favourite colour of mine I love dark brown lipsticks, so I definitely loved this it was the first colour I had my eye one. It applies on really well by adding a lot of the product it will make it into a darker brown and by adding less with a lip brush it will give slightly less brown colour so the brown shade in it is controllable which is very useful and I love this colour, it will look good on everyone.

Second shade Elegance
This colour is a pink berry colour it's a pretty pink berry colour not bright at all. I thought the colour elegance would probably be a browner colour because from the packaging as it shows a brown tone and on the wand the colour is brown but when applied it was more like a pink berry but I really liked it, it was a colour I have never worn before and I think it looked great and I will keep on wearing it. I like pink colours that are not bright and sort of a berry colour but bright pinks I don't prefer I think they don't suit me because I tend to think they look better on ladies with pale skin colours rather than tanned, medium or dark. But, I was really impressed with this shade.

Third Shade Flair
For me, this shade is deep red colour which has a sort of a plum and brown hint to it. I wasn't sure how this colour would look on me but after trying it I loved it, it is a very dark colour so some areas can look patchy if the colour does not apply on properly all over the lips but that can be easily avoided. This is also a perfect colour for autumn if you are going for a dark shade. I would wear this with less makeup or no makeup at all because this colour just provides all the prettiness on the face.

Overall I really like these lip lacquers from MUA they are affordable really pigmented and velvety when applied on the lips perfect for special occasions, for everyday wear a reapplication is probably going to be needed once or twice. I will definitely purchase more colours in the future as well.

I have been wanting to try some Asian beauty and makeup products lately for the first reason it is really affordable but also they do have some products which are really good. I have tried some from ebay and aliexpress and looking at the price the products have been great in every way. I wanted to share a new place to shop from which is Tosave.

These are some of the items I got from the online website. Some items I got were items I needed, like the accessory bag to put makeup items in, the brush cleaner to clean brushes with. The rest were something new for me and I wanted to try out.

The lip palette has a special ingredient in which helps your lips look fuller when you apply the lip colours on so for anyone wanting to achieve that look this will be something they can try, it was affordable and includes lip liner and lip brush, the lip brush which I really like it is perfect for precision and it is not too thin so a lot can apply on.
There were different designs for brush cleaners some are in an egg style, some as mats and some a heart shape in different colours these are really helpful to clean your brushes and only cost about £1.

The makeup and accessory bag is super handy when you are travelling you can put your makeup or toiletries in this bag and it also looks cute this item is only £2.99. They also have it available in different colours and designs.

The next item which caught my eye was this eyeshadow palette it looks beautiful the packaging and the eyeshadow colours, the eyeshadows are really pigmented they apply on so well with the eyeshadow brush and blend out nicely. This eyeshadow palette is from an asian beauty brand cocosh she it has good hard packaging with a mirror which is useful. The colours are nice for everyday looks with a mix of light, medium and dark shades which are good combinations it is my favourite palette because the colours are pigmented and apply well.

I also got another palette from cocosh she because I really liked the first one this has 9 colours in and the eyeshadows again are pigmented easy to work with, there are no shimmer shades in this palette they are all matte so perfect when only wanting to work with matte colours.

I also liked the double ended eyeshadow brush with a blending brush because instead of having to carry an eyeshadow brush and blending brush separately I can have it as one brush it saves space, and I have to say this is an excellent brush it is soft but also works really well, it is a copy of the naked eyeshadow brushes but it is a lot more cheaper, this costs only £0.81 on their website currently for the price it is well worth it. I was surprised to how well the blending brush worked and the eyeshadow brush works moderately too, I think this is a brush that is very useful considering the price too.

Pantene Repair and Protect Shampoo Review

I previously reviewed the Pantene Smooth and Sleek shampoo & conditioner and for me, I felt as though I was losing hair with it so I stopped using that and started using a Superdrug brand one, then from family recommendations, I was told that I should try this shampoo as it is one of Pantene's best so far, so I did decide to try it out.
I have also tried Pantene classic clean but that did not help at all it caused dandruff for me so so far I think this shampoo is better than the other two.

I have kind of thick, long, dry hair, so what I was looking for was for this shampoo to control the dryness and add the shininess and make sure my hair is soft and not tangly, but also repair the split ends.

This repair and protect shampoo does make my hair feel soft it does everything the Pantene smooth and sleek did, but I have noticed it hasn't affected my hair loss in any way I do have some fallout but using the shampoo has not made it increase. I have noticed my split end have also significantly decreased. But I have not noticed any shine to my hair. It does say on the Pantene website using the Pantene shampoo on its own as well should make your hair shine, restore smoothness, treat damaged hair and make it manageable. It does make my hair manageable, improve the damaged hair and restore smoothness but the shine part does not happen for me and the dryness is still the same.

I decided not to use the conditioner because for me I feel as though the shampoo was enough and I don't normally use conditioner. The results using the shampoo for 4 weeks has been the same for me every time I use it my hair feels fresh but when my hair starts to dry it goes dry and tangly the sleekness doesn't stay in even after the next day. It has a nice smell and a soft after smell too though.

Overall, I have mixed opinions about this product some good some not so good but I think it's an ok product for me to use on my hair but would have preferred it even more if it did leave my hair shiny and not dry, so I will still be searching for the right product for my hair as I think this is not the one yet. Over the next weeks now I will be trying more of Pantene's hair products from their different ranges to see how they work out and will review them as well.

How To Make A Simple Rice Dish - Khichdi

A simple rice dish with rice and lentils is normally called khichdi in Asia, because that is where it comes from. It is typed as khichdi but called khichri. It doesn't really have a name in english it is just known as rice and lentils.
Khichdi is a soft rice and lentil dish it can be eaten any time of the day and can be given to babies as it is soft to eat. It is easy to eat and make, it isn't heavy on the spices either. It is mainly known to be given if someone is ill to make them feel better, but you can eat it whenever you want because it is part of a healthy diet.

The ratio of the rice and lentils is totally up to you I used 60% rice and 40% lentils but you can have 50% of each, it's whatever your prefer. You can use Masoor daal which comes in the colour brown and orange or moong daal which is the green lentils and even chick pea lentils, alternatively, you can even use mixed lentils.

But do bear in mind some lentils like the moong daal may need more water and may take more time to cook than other lentils. If you would like the dish to be more dryer with less water then add less water if you would like it more softer then add more water.

This recipe is khichdi using red lentils. Makes for 4 people in about 25 to 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Rice 3/4 of a cup (150g)

Red split lentils (Masra daal) 1/2 cup (85g)

Butter 2 tablespoon

Half Onion

Salt 2 teaspoon or to taste

Green Chillies 2 or 3 (optional)

Method

I used a saucepan with a lid to make khichdi but can be made in a pressure cooker or a pan making sure it has a lid though because you will need to steam the rice and lentils.

First of all, wash the lentils and the rice separately and soak in warm water for about 10 minutes and make sure they are drained out of the water before your cook them.

Next, add two fully heaped tablespoons of butter and add half an onion diced into the butter. Cook the onion until it is soft and translucent and lightly brown, we don't want the onion to be brown too much.

Once the onion is soft add one cup of water (water added to butter will make it steam up so be careful) and add the lentils in. After that, add 2 teaspoons of salt and the green chillies with the stem cut off and let it steam for about 5 minutes.

Pinch the lentils to see if they are about cooked if yes, then add 2 more cups of water and add the rice in.

Then cook for about 15 minutes on low heat with the lid on. You can check after 10 minutes making sure it does not stick to the bottom if you feel there is less water you can add more in and let it steam until cooked, and let it steam until the rice is cooked with the lentils.

Finally, your khichdi should be ready to eat 😊

This is optional but to add more flavour you can add black pepper, grated ginger, bay leaves or cloves. If wanting to serve to babies then you can just use rice and lentils, salt will be optional. You can accompany the khichdi with salad and yoghurt as well.

Travelling can be a hassle (the getting ready part) sometimes but can be made easy, with a handy checklist. Everyone would love to enjoy packing rather than rushing and figuring out what do I need. I always think a checklist is helpful even if that's for shopping, work or travelling. If not 100% it will definitely help you at least 50% and is just a way of checking if you have everything, because if you leave something at home it would be mean whilst you are on holiday you would have to buy that item if you really need it, so it's actually a money saver as well.

Bear in mind some things you might not have to take because it depends on the weather as well, a warm sunny place will not require jumpers, you will probably need insect repellent, mini fan and sunglasses. Going to a cold place you will need dry skin cream, warm clothing and gloves.

There can be items added to the list because you may have something you need to take but others do not so you can always make your own separate list too. You can get two copies and tick for the first time round for when you have the items and second time when you have packed the items, and cross out any which you don't need to take or you don't have space for.

Here is my version of a holiday checklist, these are items which can be placed into hand luggage and booked luggage, feel free to print it and use it for your travel, checking everything and you're ready to travel. ✈

Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit Review

I have the lip kit in the colour Runway Berry and a single matte liquid lipstick in the colour paparazzi. I haven't tried a lot of Barry M lip products and as this was a new product I was definitely impressed with the outcome. Currently, they are selling 3 limited edition lip kits which include a lip liner and liquid lip paint and they have come out with 5 new single liquid lip paints that's without a lip liner. I purchased one lip kit and one single lip paint. The single liquid lipstick retails for £4.99 and the lip kit for £6.99 which I think is a pretty good price for the quality and the product.

With the lip kit I applied the lip liner first and it applied nicely it's pigmented and a nice light berry colour, then I applied the liquid lip paint on my lips and let it dry, it dries within 1 minute. I really liked the colour not too light and not too dark and the feel of it was soft on my lips.

It does not dry your lips at all it has a nice velvet feel to your lips and are not sticky feeling, it is long wearing it can last all day but if you eat and drink it will start to fade from the inner middle and in the outer corners of the lips. I drank tea and notice from the steam of the tea it faded more.

The packaging is also nice it is a tube and you can see the lip colour from the clear packaging and you can see the colour from the end of the lip liner as well. The consistency of the liquid lipstick is thin, but not too thin that it runs and neither is it thick, it is the perfect consistency. They have a sweet scent to it but isn't overpowering, it smells sweet as candy.

The red is a beautiful bold red matte colour definitely a red colour every girl needs, it makes your teeth look extra white, but your lips look fabulous.

If you rub whilst removing the liquid lipstick then it will smudge I had the red one especially all over my mouth while trying to take it off, so I would be careful whilst removing it, but normally now I just leave it to come off itself but if I need it off I will use a wipe making sure the colour doesn't go around my mouth. You can see the swatches here, this is the colour and liquid lipstick when they have dried and it is a matte finish.

Overall, I will keep on using the lip kit and the lip paint it would be something great if you want it to last all day because it really does. The red lip paint is the only red lipstick I apply when I want the bold and long lasting colour because it's the perfect colour. The runway kit I also love wearing and would definitely recommend to everyone because there are no cons with this product you will love it.

Affordable Eyeliner Pencil Avon Color Trend

These are my all time favourite pencil eyeliners from Color Trend a part of Avon Cosmetics, I have been using these pencil eyeliners for years now and I have not considered using any other brand unless I want a colour that Color Trend does not have, the main reason is because the brand is really affordable and they are very pigmented and soft which makes them apply on smoothly, on sale you can get these eyeliners 99p each otherwise prices can be £1.50 or £2 depending on the price, Avon changes the price for every brochure.

At the moment they only sell the colours black, blue, brown and turquoise and in the kajal stick they have purple, black, green and brown. There are some eyeliners which they don't sell anymore like the green and white eyeliner and double ended kajal sticks. The packaging of the eyeliners has also changed from black to the colours of the eyeliners now, which is actually better because you can tell now which eyeliner is what colour, before I had to check the colour because all of the eyeliners were the same colour. Whatever the occasion is I always have this eyeliner on.

Most of the pencil eyeliners I have are pencil eyeliners from Color Trend and a few are kajal sticks compared to other affordable brands like Mua, Revolution and Elf these eyeliners are a lot more better in quality, others I have found that they are too soft so when I apply they smudge easily and the colour is hard to remove but Color Trend eyeliners are not soft the tip doesn't break off easily and they are not too hard so they can still be applied very easily without putting a lot of pressure.

I have never experienced any smudging with this eyeliner, it does not smudge for me if I touch my eyes or if they are watery then the colour will fade a bit otherwise it can last. The quality is amazing even though they are not waterproof they can last for a good 4 to 5 hours, after that I only need to touch up once at the inner and outer corner of my waterline. It is easy to apply on the waterline it glides on smoothly, to apply as an eyeliner it can be applied as well.

This is an eyeliner I would definilty buy again if it runs out however this lasts me a long time I have had these for about 4 years and they still work great they have not dried out all, it is a must buy if you are on a small budget for purchasing makeup. The concealer is affordable it is £3 each and can last about a month.

The hardest part was to work out the correct shade it took me about an hour looking at photos and videos online to see which shade would be right for my skin tone. in the end I just decided to purchase two one that would be kind of light which is natural and one which will be a little dark which will match the colour of my dark circles which was almond. I used the almond colour as a colour corrector and the natural colour as a concealer.

For the price I am impressed with this concealer it does cover really well than other concealers I have tried, it is lightweight and provides a natural finishing look. It provides super coverage you can use your fingers, concealer brush or a blender to blend the product out. For people who have got dark circles that are really dark it would be something average for them and someone who has got light to moderate dark circles I think this would be perfect as it will cover up perfectly.

I have dark circles that are really dark so I was kind of impressed with this because it was better than other drugstore concealers I have tried, even though it doesn't completely cover you can see the shadow slightly from underneath it does make a huge difference and I preferred applying this with a concealer brush rather than a blender because I felt the blender would wipe away most of the product.

This product reminds of the Sleek concealer and corrector palette as they also have a corrector colour to apply then concealer on top and this is what I do with the LA Girl concealers, but the texture is different, sleek is a thick cream texture and this is a liquid texture concealer so you can blend out the product well and have more control with it.

Overall, I think I will buy this product again but next time a different colour because I still don't feel completely happy with the colours I purchased, natural is too light and almond is too orange for me so I will probably need to trial and error again with another colour until I find the correct one. Next time I think I will go for creamy beige which will hopefully be right.

Colab Dry Shampoo Review

I noticed Superdrug had a lot of offers going on that is what encourages me a lot to buy from there and try new products, so I ordered these 2 Colab dry shampoo sprays, I have never used dry shampoo before so this was the first time using it. I have seen a lot about it and really wanted to try it because I don't wash my hair every day only twice a week and from what I knew dry shampoo gives you that extra moisture and cleanliness without having to wash your hair.

I purchased this for £1.73 whilst it was on offer but the normal price is around £3 I think, prices at Superdrug can change so check for the offers. This dry shampoo is not something I would spray on every day, at the moment I use it two or three times a week.

I really like the tropical dry shampoo smell, it smells exactly like the name tropical fruity with a hint of floral to it. I prefer the tropical dry shampoo to the paradise one mainly because of the scent the tropical one has a more perfume type of scent to it whereas the paradise one smells sweet like coconut which I don't mind but would prefer more something like the tropical dry shampoo. You definitely won't need any perfume after spraying this as it already has quite a strong smell which can be smelt easily.

These dry shampoos are in an aerosol spray, there are others as well which you can get that are just in a powder form but all of Colab dry shampoos are aerosol, because this dry shampoo is in aerosol spray when you first spray it out it does feel like all aerosol sprays the smell just tries to get into your nose and mouth and that is something I am not fond of and dislike, so I would highly suggest you keep your mouth and nose closed when spraying and after for a few seconds until the spray absorbs into your hair rather than inside you.

When you spray and see white residue don't worry because this happened to me just shake well before you use it, and if white residue does appear you can just brush the white residue and it should disappear. When spraying onto the hair it does give you that coolness feeling which feels funny but in a good way.

Overall, I think I would buy the tropical dry shampoo again but not the paradise one as I prefer the scent of the tropical dry shampoo much more, they both do the same job but have a different smell. As I can't apply this to every inch of my scalp it can't help my whole scalp be cleaner but where I can spray it I have noticed the after look looks good my hair feels smoother and fresher.

If dry shampoo is something you are considering then give it a go, you may like it you won't be able to know until you don't try it out. The most popular brand is Batiste but from what I know it leaves white residue and Colab does not.

These are hacks which include using makeup brushes, these tips and tricks can help you with your makeup brushes and tools, it can save you buying, but also show you good techniques so you can apply your makeup well.

If you do not have a fan brush but do have an extra fluffy brush you can turn that into a fan brush just using two bobby pins and placing them towards the end of the brush to flatten out the brush and use it as a fan brush, a fan brush is used for applying highlight it allows you place the highlight in a straight line using a fan brush.
If you have a spare foundation brush you can use that for applying face masks or face creams, using a foundation brush to apply it on will help you to apply an even layer but also save your fingers from getting filled with the product, meaning you will be wasting less product and using most of it on your face.
If you have extra lip liner and precision brushes you can use them for nail art designs they are thin so you can easily make patterns and different designs with them and then clean it off with nail polish remover or water to use different colours, rather than having to buy nail art tools.

This tip is to help you apply your eyeshadow even eyeliner and your whole face makeup. Use makeup setting spray I use the Mac Prep + Prime fix spray in travel size it is only £10 and it does a good job in making the eyeshadow more pigmented and helps your makeup last longer making sure it does not smudge, or even water can help to make eyeshadows pigmented, but I recommend this spray.

You have an eyeshadow brush but it has leftover eyeshadow colour still on the brush and you don't want to wash the brush, this tip can help. Use the back of a sellotape, so the sticky part and pat the eyeshadow brush onto it and you will see the eyeshadow coming off as it is sticking to sellotape. After doing this will remove all the eyeshadow so you can go ahead and use the colour you want.

This tip is for your hair using an eyeshadow brush, if you have hair missing at the front or just want your forehead to look fuller on your forehead you can easily hide this using eyeshadow the same colour as your hair, so black eyeshadow for black hair and so on and just fill in the area with eyeshadow lightly you will see a massive difference your hair will look more fuller.

This tip is to help look after your makeup brushes and clean them, I prefer this makeup brush cleaner as it has different patterns on and I feel the spots pattern cleans the brushes more better. You can use smaller brushes on different areas and bigger brushes differently. These are really affordable online you can get them for £1 on online e-commerce websites like eBay and Aliexpress.

The last tip is using a makeup tool which is an eyelash curler to make your eyelashes stay curled for more longer, by curling your eyelashes with heat using a hair dryer on the eyelash curler can definitely help because when we straighten our hair with hair straighteners it only works with heat without heat it would not work, same with eyelashes. But make sure you are careful only a few seconds of heat is needed and before you apply your mascara. You can also purchase heated eyelash curlers that stimulate heat itself this is the one I have and it works well.

Elf Flawless Eyeshadow Party Purple Quad Review

There was a sale at elf and one item that really caught my eye was this eyeshadow quad, elf has a lot of colours available in this flawless eyeshadow range, but I chose to go with party purple because I thought this quad would give my eyes that pop of colour. I got this for a bargain of £1.20 it was really affordable to buy. This is the first eyeshadow product I have tried from elf and I am really impressed with this for the price and quality it is great.

It has got each eyeshadow marked with where it can be placed to create a purple party look although you do not have to apply the eyeshadow to them certain places you can create your own look. For me, this little quad is really pigmented even if I use really less eyeshadow it does a great job, but for it to last all day primer would probably be needed.

The base colour is a soft pink almost like a pearl white, the lid colour is a dark pink, the crease colour is violet and the line colour is a dark aubergine purple. I think the colour variations are really good they work out good together you can achieve different kinds of looks with these using one to four colours.

The eyeshadows look shimmery but it is not, they look matte when they are swatched but they are shiny they do not leave any shimmer they are made from a silky and smooth formula which I love and it gives you the perfect eyeshadow look. I love all the colours they are long lasting as well you can apply with the applicator, a brush or your fingertips, but I prefer to use these delicate eyeshadows with the applicator as a sponge applicator can apply more smoothly.

The crease colour is the only colour which will actually make your eyes pop the other three don't really have a popping out colour but are still good to use. You can mix and match colours from other eyeshadow palettes I will definitely be using the dark purple as an outer corner colour. For makeup lovers and beginners I think this is a must have, it is also bag and travel-friendly it is small and compact.

How To Reuse Cosmetic Containers

If you're a DIY person then you can get creative with ways to repurpose and reuse makeup and skincare containers. This is part of DIY, being able to reuse items again and being creative with them. Sometimes makeup and skincare containers can be used again, some containers may not be in the form to be used again or maybe they are in a tube, so you can recycle those.

This is a good way to make sure you are clearing out and keeping organised.

You can reduce clutter, that just piles up and is all around the place, this can also be small bits and bobs. Small items can be stored in tubs and tins so they are not left in the open and so you know where they are. You can store jewellery, bobby pins, bobbles, clips, pins, nail files, nail clippers and anything else that will fit into the containers you have.

I have been using mine to store in bobbles and bobby pins and hair clips and it's exactly what I need, these small items normally go all over the place but with these helpful tubs it makes it much easier to store them. I use small and big tubs and have them small ones placed inside drawers and the big tubs outside so I can grab what I need. This does not have to be makeup containers only it can be anything jars, food tubs, cardboard boxes anything you feel that will be great to use.

Y.ou can also get creative and make your own lotion again when you run out, by adding an unscented lotion and then mixing in a drop or 2 of your favourite perfume into the lotion. You can reuse the cream tubs to store your own made lotion and keep on redoing it.

You can also use your perfume bottles that have ran out to store flowers in or use it as an ornament in your home, there are some pretty looking perfume bottles out there, you can design them even more and make it into something beautiful.

Another helpful way is to use the containers for travelling, when travelling you normally use smaller sizes also known as travel sizes because you want something that will easily fit into your bag and is not big and taking too much space, this will be perfect because it will be travel friendly you can use it to store your small items which you need to take into pods, lip balm tins, cream tubs and makeup containers.

You can even design the tubs and tins you have, maybe to assemble the theme you have in your bedroom. If you want to remove any labels you can do so by using vaseline or even better acetone, acetone will also remove the ink from the containers.

Superdrug Coconut Oil Review

I came across a coconut oil which had a lot of good reviews on the Superdrug website and I was also looking for a hair oil for my hair because it was dry. I purchased this 125ml coconut oil whilst it was on offer for £2 otherwise normal price is £2.69 the price changes when there are offers so look out for offers from Superdrug, but at the moment it is on offer for £1.65 which is a great deal, they also have this in 500ml as well.

My main reason to use this product was to use it on my hair and I have to say I really love this product, it leaves my hair feeling very soft and shiny, I can also see the difference it has made for hair loss, the amount of hair loss I have every time I brush my hair has reduced. There are many uses with coconut oil it is perfect for haircare and skincare and can be used anywhere on your body it will just leave you feeling soft and moisturised.

The coconut oil is a natural product, so it is in a solid form, but you can easily take this out with your fingers and melt it in your hands and then apply it on to your hair and skin, if you live somewhere where it is cold then I recommend you leave it somewhere warm so it can get warm and it will make it easier to take out. The oil doesn't make your hair look greasy but it makes it look shiny. Also, my split ends have significantly decreased. It smells like coconut and it also has a vanilla scent to it.

The way I use this product is before I wash my hair I apply the coconut oil on and wait about 20 minutes and then wash my hair, whilst I am washing my hair I can feel my hair feels smoother and it's easy for me to wash my hair like this, after when my hair drys I apply a little bit more to add some moisture back in and get the shiny look.

I have also applied this onto my skin where my skin was dry and it has helped it soften again, there are no faults with this product because coconut oil is a very useful product for your hair and skin. I have also started using this as a makeup remover and a makeup base and it works perfectly, it an also be used as a night or day time moisturiser, you can read my post about the different ways you can use coconut oil here.

Superdrug Pro Vitamin Shampoo & Conditioner Review

This Superdrug duo has become my absolute favourite, I was on a search for a good shampoo that will help my hair feel more softer and smooth because at the time my hair was dry and tangly from other hair products I had been using, I heard about how argan oil is really good for your hair it makes it soft, shiny and stronger so I thought I would look for a shampoo that has argan oil in, from which I came across the Superdrug brand Pro Vitamin shampoo and conditioner, before my purchase I read all the reviews and they were all positive and the price was very affordable too, so I thought I would try this out.

While using the products on my hair from the first wash I could feel my hair was softer and it looked straighter. Then after a few washes and testing the product for around about a month it actually did make a big difference my hair was softer and shinier. It was a very good purchase for me I bought this while it was on offer for £1.09 each, the normal price is £1.49 which is still not bad for a 400 ml shampoo and conditioner.

It smells so nice it has the argan oil scent which smells florally and is long lasting. It is also cruelty free and vegan-friendly. It is suitable for fine and thick hair. I have thick hair and this really helped my hair balance out and has made it more manageable.

It has been around two to three months now I have been using the products and my hair is still shiny and soft, this is my duo which I will always be using from now on and I would definitely recommend this to everyone. Switching to Juice & Water from Fizzy Drinks

In this post, I want to share and let everyone know why juice is good for you and I am sure everyone knows water is very beneficial for you, but also why fizzy drinks are not good for you. There are a lot of health issues that can be raised with fizzy drinks because they can seriously make you ill, me personally the gas in the fizzy drinks really affected me and as soon as I stopped drinking fizzy I noticed a massive difference, going to the toilet on time not having gas or bloating problems it took some time but my body did recover from the fizzy drinks.

You have probably seen all over the internet how people clean their toilets with coke and just think you are drinking that same drink, I know it's not good to think about but no matter how good it tastes it affects your body within you. If you can stop quick it will be good for you otherwise it can become an addiction. This video will give more information about what we are actually drinking and eating, we need to make sure we know what we eat and eat healthily.

I have switched from fizzy drinks to juices, I am not really fond of orange juices because they are tangy for me and I feel as though they can sometimes affect my throat but I do have it once in a while, but I love apple, mango, tropical and blackcurrant juice.

You can also give vegetable juices a try, it will be like a salad in a form of a drink, healthy and also delicious. If you haven't got a juice maker a blender will also do the job.

If I don't have time to make juice which is most of the time I drink ready made juices I normally go for the ones from Asda or Tesco brand which is around 75 to 79p per litre which is cheaper than fizzy drinks. If you can't cut down all at once I suggest minimising the intake of fizzy drinks, so maybe only having half a glass or one glass a day you will find it much easier.

The best liquid I can recommend to you for your body is water. The best and most healthy water on the earth is zam zam water, it is very beneficial for the body and is recommended to stand up and drink it as it purifies your whole body inside you, other drinks you sit down and drink because they do not purify your body inside instead cause harm.

Itsjudytime + Pixibeauty Lip Palette

This review is about the lip palette which was made by Judy a youtube vlogger with the beauty brand Pixi beauty, I am very keen about Judy as a beauty enthusiast and really wanted to try this product out. I have been reading online reviews about the lip palette and some people are saying the lip colours are too dry that is probably because they are demi-matte if they was creamy they would have been easily applied to the lips and not dry. I like how it also came with a detached mirror I know Judy has to have a mirror with a palette it is definitely essential.

The palette claims from the Pixi beauty website that it has creamy lip colours but I don't really think they are creamy because they are actually demi-matte, and I know Judy loves matte lipsticks so this had to be something she wanted to make. If you are living somewhere cold they are going to be even harder to apply this may be because the matter lipsticks are formed into a palette whereas if they was in a lipstick case this may have not been the case, a tip which also Judy gave was that when the palette is warm the colours actually apply on more creamy so you could give it heat with a hairdryer for a few seconds. I swirl my finger around a few times in the colour and find this helps.

For me, the nude and brown shades don't appear how I would like them to on my lips because I naturally have dark lips but they are alright as everyday neutral colours. My favourite colours from the palette are falling leaves and chewy.

Another thing is that on my dry lips when I apply these lip colours you can clearly see my dry lips I wish the palette wasn't too matte but more creamy like the Collection lipsticks they are long lasting and creamy that is the perfect consistency, and I prefer lipsticks like that.

Overall for me I don't think this palette really met my expectations I bought this on offer for £20 and I don't think it's worth it for me personally, but may be better for others, if the consistency of the lip colours were more pigmented and less matte and maybe if they was made into a lipstick rather a lip palette it may have held and worked more better and they would of applied much better on me.

Easy Snack Chocolate Cornflakes

I am sharing with you a easy snack you can which is very tasty, but also very quick to make, you can make this within 10 minutes and enjoy it with the whole family.

Ingredients:

For the chocolate cornflakes snack you will need:

Cornflakes (preferably Kelloggs)
Chocolate (preferably dairy milk)
Cupcake cases
Mini eggs, sprinkles, smarties (for decoration)

Method

First of all, you need to get a bowl and place the chocolate in the bowl to make about 8 chocolate cornflakes you will need 200g of chocolate (a big bar of dairy milk). You can either use a microwave to heat the chocolate microwaving for around 45 seconds or longer, or you can get a saucepan and boil water until boiled and place the bowl of chocolate above it to melt it.

After the chocolate is melted you want to start adding the cornflakes in I recommend you add a handful at a time and then mix and add again the amount of cornflakes you add is up to you if you want your chocolate cornflakes to be really chocolatey then you would add less.

After you happy with the mixture you can place them into cupcake cases, and then start decorating.
To decorate it is entirely up to you though they still do taste very tasty without decoration. I love adding mini eggs, but you could also add sprinkles chocolate chips it's totally your choice.

After that leave it in the fridge for about 2 to 3 hours, so the chocolate and cornflakes can go hard and hold together and after that it's all done.
This is a really crunchy chocolatey tasty snack and I recommend you try this easy snack because you will surely love it. ❤ .

Miss Sporty Wonder Smooth Lipstick Review

This was the first time for me trying out Miss Sporty lipsticks and makeup in general, the brand is known to be a drugstore and affordable brand. I purchased two lipsticks from their wonder smooth collection heroic copper 500 and wonder fuchsia 203.

Applying too much of the wonder fuchsia lipstick made my lips look bright pink which is something I don't like I prefer a suttle and dark pink, I tried applying with a lip brush and using less of the product and it looked quite better and was more wearable for me, as they say, a little goes a long way.

The lipstick heroic copper is beautiful and a perfect colour for fall it is almost like brown and peach mixed together which looked really nice. If you have lighter colour lips you may find that this is a much better of a browner shade, but darker lips it will be more of a peachy brown. Both lipsticks have a sweet berry smell which is positive thing about this product. Packaging is good matches the colour of the lipstick and has a clear plastic lid.

Overall I was really happy with the heroic copper lipstick I love it as a everyday lipstick, the fuchsia lipstick is not for me as I don't like bright pink colours. You can purchase this lipstick from Superdrug. Miss Sporty is a cool trendy and fun brand it is especially for makeup beginners and experimenters. Their makeup is affordable but also to good quality.

I am reviewing this drugstore lipstick which is from Collection Cosmetics, I purchased this from Superdrug, it is a very affordable lipstick it retails for £2.99 and it has other colours available from red to pink and bright to dark in Collection's lasting colour lipstick range.

The colour of the lipstick is very true to its description, it applies as the colour it is shown as. The colour is very beautiful, it is a dark medium brown colour, a perfect colour to wear any day.

The lipstick itself has a soft smooth formula and it is very moisturising and creamy love how it feels on the lips, it does not smudge at all and it is very pigmented, it's not a matte lipstick but still I feel it is very long lasting than other lipsticks, if you are going to eat or drink something it will start to come off and will transfer, but it can last on your lips for a couple of hours. After application, the lipstick does not feel drying at all after and I love the finishing result of the lipstick, perfect as a fall lipstick.

The packaging is pretty neat as well, it has the colour black and silver, it's not overly designed it's simple packaging and very convenient. It has the name and colour of the lipstick at the moment so you know exactly which colour it is. Also, it has a very sweet scent to it which is not bothering at all.

I think for the price it is a very good lipstick. I will definitely be purchasing this lipstick again in the future and in different colours. Overall, I do recommend you purchase this product because it's affordable and also I think it's a great quality lipstick and there are a lot of shades you can choose from.
