LUKEWARM PERIOD

I was reminded again by my head of the things that I should be doing right now, I have them accounted , yet I still am not motivated to do at least one of my to do's for the weekend. I skipped school today , as I feel like resting and giving myself a break from work, school and review materials while the other half of me is commanding me to get up and start the work. So I would not be drown in many things in times, but my body won't allow my head to rule so I kept my lazy bone dragging me to my bed the whole day. And now came realization that time is running fast, the next thing I know I have been idle the whole day.

What to do? I got tired and needed some time to reflect and relax. Relax? did I say that, needless to say how to relax to the fullest with pile of pending tasks, errands around the corner , books needs to re visit and re study , online stuff that are also vital to survival and the etc. But even so, I deserved a break, I need some unwinding. I am to say this to myself for a consolation, after all this is my personal choice, my decision and besides no one has push me to deprived myself of relaxing instead of working and study.I guess this just a matter of self discipline and I am struggling it out to this moment. I hope this is normal and tomorrow I am fueled with passion.

HEAT IS ON

Summer is back, time to put out those bath suit for summer season. But for sure resorts and beaches will be full for summer , and this fact is not new to me. If you don't like the crowded places , of course there are still resorts that are yet preserved which I like. A place where you can find pentair pool that you could truly enjoy with your loved ones. Another thing, one way to avoid the crowd and save from price differential on hotel accommodation and other services during summer is by reserving ahead of time , if possibly 6 months ahead of time is best.

I was asked one time by my boss about my future plan , business plan and career move then suddenly I was overwhelmed with so much ideas about plans because I have plenty in stored for that matter. But of course only those necessary that I did share. After everyone have shared each thoughts, the event coordinator shared his success story on business and telling us also of another business venture he is planning to put up. About the hobby, we have learned that he buy gold coins , for long term investment. He is a collector of old coins too, which is why he finds traveling fun and rewarding.

These lines was mentioned by the pastor after wrapping up the topic about love in the church service I attended this afternoon. Really true, in our generation now, we easily caught up by the charm and beauty on the outside. The also reason why most of the marriage in our time do not last. The pastor sites some example of Hollywood icons who have all the looks, fame, money and power who married of their same. Has the looks and the money but after a few months decided to call it quits.

Hollywood stars like Katy Perry and Russell Brand whose marriage lasted only for 14 months. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries marriage lasted for 72 days. Britney Spears and Kevin Federline which marriage lasted for 55 hours. Many would say that because marriage for them is not a big deal, and in my opinion it is a big deal maybe the reason why they come up to tie the knots to have exclusive right on each other. But because the basis of their marriage is more of physical attraction which when joined together in one house , they discover attitude and character of each one that they cannot accept so they find a way out.

There is nothing wrong in physical attraction, it becomes wrong when we do not give time ourselves to know the person's character in the inside.

Like what the bible says in Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting ; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. and in 1peter 3:3-4 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment,such as braided hair and wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.

FRIENDSHIP RING

Thankful and proud was buddy's feeling when he opened the gift given to him by his best friend abroad. He showed me the set of steel rings made for him and for their other friend.So it was the gift his friend abroad promised to send. Well, I realized true friends are hard to find, and I was concluding that buddy was lucky to that kind of friend, for even if they are thousand miles away the relationship did not fade , but the more it grow and stand firm. I am not saying this because of the gift his friend has for them, but because I witness myself their brotherhood.

Yey! So it’s the month of love as most of us would call it. Seasons of love, love, love. Sorry guys, I am just exaggerating things to my satisfaction. Haha.

Anyway, this is my definition of love, Love is giving without asking in return, it understands the worst, it forgives and accepts. Sometimes it makes you do crazy things but what’s best is that, it teaches you to appreciate the different colors of life.

I like the definition found in the holy Bible. In 1corinthians 13:8a of (NIV) it says..

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails..

Lately, due to workload, school papers and other errands that needs to be done daily my tutorial lesson on enhancing the basic knowledge I have on music instrument particularly guitar been sacrificed.The instrument in my room left untouched for couple of weeks now, unlike before when I was yet on focus of aiming my desire to learn how to play the chords for my favorite praise and worship songs. Though I am struggling with time right now, I am certain that after the examination I am preparing myself for now. My tutorial lesson will be revived as my soul and heart long to sing a worship song to my creator.

Just this morning after the usual activity the company do every first day of work, the daughter of chairman update the congregation about her goal for this year.And one of the goal is to reduce her weight,the catch was she will be giving a reward to any employee that can exactly guess her weight to this day. A cash prize worth ten thousand pesos will be given five months from now.Mixed feelings circulate the congregation on that announcement.Also, trophies and awards will be given on the 5th month for punctual employee , together with the reward for the guess on exact weight of chairman's daughter.

ON CRAMMING MODE

Few more days, and why I have this feeling of so little my time to catch up on subjects that I need more practice . It would be our pre-board on the second week of the following month yet I am not confident on the amount I have reviewed. Every time I will study those subjects that I need reinforcement and would not able to finished all the lessons , another topic is to add up in my back log. Oh God, now I realized how lucky those students that have no other commitment aside from studying. I envy them at times because in reality they do have edged over those working ants like me.

Time is of great element to me, I cannot even attend to my daily routines lately that I usually do before. Some things needs to be sacrificed in order for me to get into my goal, but despite time constraint I am thankful that so far I am able to give time for each activity, Although not that generous as before but it's okay things will be alright , I know in due time and I am up to the huge harvest. Better be pain and discomfort this way with a goal to look forward to, than have the comfort today which only rely on what tomorrow would come. In short, better cramming than nothing at all. hahaha.

The old coffee shop that I used to pass by every night was closed and is said to be under renovation , I wonder where the loyal customer transfer to hang out. What I heard is that the management has come up a new themefor the coffee shop that would incorporate pool cabana like. That sounds interesting and cool specially to the coffee lovers that loves the place. On the banner posted outside the coffee shop wall it says that one month from now it would be re open to the public. Good news for the store and for their followers.

This is one of my prayer request always, that my family, loved ones and friends people in my circle would always enjoy a good health most of all than other wealth in this world could offer. And I thank God for the favor and protection. This evening, I went to a near drug store to buy a medicine that I have read on the internet which I will have to try later, how about the side effect?, as per different reviews the medicine is safe and would correct imbalances the medicine is also taken by my father so the worry factor was lessen. When I was inside the drug store I noticed that the they were not organized medicine carts are blocking the pharmacist way, maybe they were doing some inventory or a new set of drugs is to be unloaded and put together according to their kinds, that was just me, giving reasons to what I saw. I could not help myself because it was causing them delay on their way to customers counter. I hope they can arrange their stuff the soonest possible to their relief.

Lately I seldom watch news, though every now and then I try to browse little news on the web to learn about the latest happenings in the world. And per acquired information in the internet, the trending topics on the list this month are: The Typhoon Sendong, The feast of Nazarene, The impeachment of Chief Justice Corona, The war in middle east country, The economic twist in Europe and America, Hollywood showdown and more. From the listed topics I was asking myself, what is the end of this news these days? Is it for the gain of some people behind, Is it for pride, Is it for fame, for money, for power, for honor or for merely business? That I do not know but surely few gifted wise men knows what will be the end of this.

The fact in our lives today is that we do not know what tomorrow would bring us to. And this fact reminds me every time. We do not own our time and it is only through the grace of God that we are still breathing to now. So many the plans in our heart yet at the end, it is still God's purpose will be revealed. I have come up to this write ups because of the messages that I am receiving from the situation and experiences evolving in my community. I was thinking, maybe God is allowing this to happen because of the wickedness in the land. I am not being religious here but just reasoning on those events rationally. And I believe every situation; experiences would teach us something inside. I was ashamed with myself when from somewhere whisper on me, saying- hey why so busy pressuring yourself to fit in this world, so trying hard to follow the requirement of the world, how about the requirement of your creator and savior ? What is your plan?

I have so many plans, if we will talk about planning. I am good when it comes to that matter, but poor in implementation. I also am informed of God’s power and His wrath and I am also instructed and guided of the things that would give glory and honor to my creator. But even if I know the formula, still I disobey and go my way. I am no good I broke promises and rules I am selfish because of my ambitions.

Learning the news these days, with my mind judging.My apology to those I have nailed on public because of their flaws. I too, have countless flaws; only it is not broadcast in public, but my God knows those offenses I have incurred. Throwing stones on their faces is like telling me – hey who are you to judged them. Are you God? Are you clean? Do some reflection instead. Why not pray for those men in trials, that the truth will set them free and least be humiliating them is your motive. As the lord God says - Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles, lest the Lord see it and be displeased, and turn away his anger from him. (Proverbs 24:17-18)

WORK ROUTINE

Weekend is almost over ,but my task are yet to be done. House work is reminding me of my laundry basket that are waiting for a hand care, review materials that needs to be read and solve is also on queue , Forget about work routine, it will come to pass . I am thankful that I have a gloves to protect me from soap irritation.Laundry soap allergy triggers every time when washing a laundry and sometimes liquid still penetrate inside between fingertips that results flaky hand skin. Oh no, If only I could find an alpinestars gloves in the market it would be more effective.

THE BLACK NAZARENE

Tomorrow the feast for the Black Nazarene will be celebrated ,according to news the procession for the Black Nazarene has started Early this evening from Luneta going to Quiapo Church tomorrow, and an estimated of 8 million devotees is expected to join the procession route. This decade practice makes Quiapo church popular during the first month of the year.Despite high risk on joining the crowd of parade devotees knows no bound for inhibiting there faith for the said miraculous Black Nazarene. Hearing those devout sharing their piece of story on how the saint have help them in so some areas of their lives , make me conclude how serious and faithful they are to fulfill their vows every year to get near to the image replica without minding the damage and fracture they might incur.

Meanwhile, the President of the Philippines , warned the devotees of possible danger they could be encountering in the procession of The Black Nazarene that according to his Police and PNP officials they do have leads of some local terrorist in the said event that is trying to take advantage of the feast so to lessen the risk Pres. Aquino suggested the devotees to stay at home tomorrow to prevent casualties and stampede along crowds. Of course the President also says that the Police and PNP will be vigilant and will secure the peace and safety of all in the feast of Black Nazarene. But, to stay at home is best to avoid accident while watching updates of the parade.

Other critic says that warning the public for possible risk of terrorist on the day of celebration of the feast of Black Nazarene is not the duty the President to announced on television, While some say the President is just doing it for the good and safety of his people. And what can I say about this? for me this is a matter of faith, security of well being, I think anyone can give there opinion over this event but nevertheless the decision still lies on people.But to the Police, your main purpose of staying in your designated area is not only to watch every individual but also to take full responsibility as if you are watching the safety of your own family member. WHAT IS YOUR NEW YEARS RESOLUTION?

Wow, Year 2011 is almost over few more hours to go and we will witness the changing of the Year and I guess everyone is excited, excited as I am right now. On my previous post I mention that what was trending right now is about New Years Resolution that I remember during my tertiary days my Teacher would always give this topic as our take home assignment, and it never stop until I graduated. I would always have the hard time thinking over and over what was those attitude, area of reinforcement, weaknesses and character that I need to list down that needs assessment and resolution. Anyway, that was just me , my New Years Resolution would always fall that way on attitude. Because I thought it was all about that way, promising yourself that you'll be good and better for the following year. Doing what's best and leaving the worst behind but using those experiences along the way by viewing it positively.

What is New Years Resolution anyway? According to wikipedia , it is a commitment that a person makes to one or more lasting personal goals, projects, or the reforming of a habit. Hmm, sounds good and simple as counting one two and three. But the question is, do we really mean this commitment? or we are just only listing those resolution and keep it on our notes, (for future reference ) for us to laugh on or shall I say to regret of not acting it then we reach our age that we can no longer practice our New Years Resolution. Well, we do it or not, It is still us at the end who will be responsible for those list that we inked in our notes.

I have list down here some of the famous New Years Resolution that I have gathered within my sphere of influence.And summarize them, see If you can relate to some :)

1. I'll Quit Smoking - this is the favorite lines that we usually hear.

2. I'll Quit Drinking - Oh no, drinking on what ? I hope you won't quit drinking water, it would be hard I bet. haha. ( Famous line of my super friend who always have a huge smile when he sees a liquor.) haha.

3. I'll be faithful - Truly ? to whom ? I hope to God because he has been faithful to us since birth.

4. Be physically fit - How about mental and emotional ? cheers to that !

5. Have time for loved ones.

6. Be debt free and happy.

7. Live life to the fullest . (Because they say 2012 the world will end.)

8. To become wealthy this coming year.

9.To be generous.

10. To study hard, no more extra curricular activity outside school. ( Nice )!

12. To have focus.

13. To have a love life.

14. To pass the board exam!

15. To go out abroad this year.

16. Quit talking the lives of others. ( I like this one.) maybe it has come to her mind that it does not benefit her at all.keep it up !

17. To try something new.

18. To be organize and clean.

19. To quit on current job

20. To have a baby.

Happy New year! May we all not forget that our concerns need resolutions, yes. But we cannot do this alone on our own might, remember we have a Big God to let this list do come true by acknowledging Him of our issues and concerns, by asking His presence His guiding spirit to lead us through. For God says, I know the plans I have for you. They are plans to prosper you, not to harm you; plans to give you future and hope. (Jeremiah 29.11.)

ALL OUT FOR THE COMING YEAR

During New year it has been a normal scene in every household of many families that we welcome the New Year with a bang. We prepare for the changing of the year for we do hope that the year would give us a new luck to look forward to. We reserve the best for the meja noche as our tradition has taught us, this has become also our way of thanksgiving for the whole year.

Lets talk about the things we do when we prepare for this worldwide event, While our parents are busy in the kitchen preparing for the food, others are doing also their thing like sending messages to loved ones and friends others are hooked up in the networking while some do wait for the big event by entertaining themselves on casino online. Seems like everyone is busy minding their own personal stuff were they are relax and comfortable to do with. But no matter what is it that we are up to right now, I believe in our heart we are hoping that New year would give us a good fortune like the roulette that when you spin the wheel it smiles on you every time.

Hopeful that we can start the New Year with prosperity that is why we tend to do things that we believe can give us a favorable outcome. As some say, life is like a game you win some you loss some but remember before going your game, playing your craps know the game , master the concept and let everything fall into places as you wishes to. Few more days and the year 2011 is going to bid goodbye, leaving us different memory to look back every once in awhile.It has become our tradition that during the celebration of new year we had our New years resolution that we set to achieve for the whole year. But what happen after we list down our resolutions, goals for the new year? Have you come up to do all steps and strategy to reach the goal you have set?.

My personal confession over New years resolution is not something to be proud of. As I am only good for first quarter, for I tend to be out of focus after the quarter. And I would even come up for new plans and set new goal and target without considering my first plan And like the ones on my list , year would usually be ended without me having to finished what was I started. CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS

Christmas is almost over yet for my family the spirit is still alive, the children are happy with the gifts they received on the day of Christmas. Likewise my sister in law are also thankful for zabuton meditation cushions they had as their holiday present. But most importantly the message of the event was proclaimed, sharing the blessings we have received from our Lord,Jesus Christ was highlighted. Thank be to God for the wonderful gifts and blessings, and for the opportunity to share.May everyone of us live the spirit of giving everyday not just during Christmas but every time that we have the chance to give to our neighborhood. Doing my daily rounds around the net for the fast few weeks has been a struggle to me because of time constraint but I know this is not a reason to hold on to or else this site will suffer at all and I would not afford to make that happen and so here I am, adopting the line " If there is a will there's a way" and time management , discipline boils down to action.

And now here's my trending topic since Christmas is coming soon , few days left and we will be soon be becoming Santa Claus on our own circle of influence.While we are busy preparing , wrapping the gifts for our sons and daughters in child dedication and baptism. I found this clip from a good friend's archive,I don't know where the heck he got this but it made me laugh while reading those requirements the author was asking when the kids claim for their gifts. Just a friendly reminder, I am sharing it here not to insult anyone, purely for fun this is just to lighten the day of someone out there. :)

At work since the company's goal is to equipped everyone in the organization from top to the rank in file the values of being an obedient follower of Jesus Christ, we are taught that End times is near. So we have to triple our time in ministering our loved ones to be saved as well and accept God as their savior. That our greatest life insurance can be found in God's care and presence in our lives. You see I am glad I am still alive and well, this truth makes me grateful and blessed. If others insured themselves in order to have a peace of mind when old age comes, it is their personal choice but all in all, trusting the Lord will truly insured us perfectly.

PROJECT PROPOSAL THIS CHRISTMAS

I was asking myself if I can afford to give the things that I love this season of giving, since it is not everyday I am given the opportunity to bless people who cannot afford to reward themselves after all the hardship and labor for the whole year. With that thought the plan was formulated and this time I am going to make my housemate involved in this project of mine, Since she has the talent in doing bracelets , and necklace I will take charge on the material particularly lucite flower beads. We will combined our ideas on these and see how many accessories we can make and share not just to our loved ones but also to our colleagues and neighbor. I am excited for this project and hopefully materialized so we can have a token of appreciation towards our peers and acquaintance.

End of class for this year 2011 meaning I have two weeks vacation to catch up with my back logs in the topics I have missed out during the class. Today was supposed to be my last day at school but unfortunately I was not able to complete the whole day inside the class, I did cut my remaining two subject because of my prior appointment. It was our Christmas party today, my small group which I meet in my home church. Though I was late on our party still thankful that I was able to join the games everyone prepared for the group, I miss them for month now since my schooling started, my presence is not seen on my small group family so I took the opportunity to bound with them again before the year end.

To wrap up my day, I can say God is awesome, for without him I will have no reason at all why I am enjoying the benefit of Christmas now. There would be no Christmas if God was not born, with this I will not cease on praising Him and acknowledging His love , grace and mercy for me.

STATIC MOMENT

Its raining outside, my room is getting colder that a fan is not needed anymore which I find it good to save electricity. Opening my television, I knew there is something wrong, this time I am hearing a scratching sound interrupting the conversation on the pointed channel show. So I was force the area near the television, and find what I can suspect of the sound trouble. After the physical check up, I found that the cord cover is intact and the cable is properly connected. But I almost miss the audio cord, almost. What was the conclusion ? the audio cord was not tightly attached which produces a bad static audio output. Now, everything is normal, glad to share the television is back in normal status.

Trending now : Former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Joseph Estrada. What about the two of them, while the current government is serious of putting Madame GMA behind the bars and is said to be a dream come true to some. The current news I have watch was the taking over the place of Estrada in the Veterans Hospital which where Former President Joseph Estrada was detained and where she pay a visit the detained president, Estrada before. Now the wheel turned. The room where Estrada and his son was detained will be again be used by another President. What a lucky room. Is this the new trend now adays? after Living in the Malacanang Palace, the next destination is the Veterans hospital for the president. I wonder who will be next after GMA's turn. It looks like GMA is a big fan of Estrada.

While Former J. Estrada advices GMA to bring a mousetrap when she stayed there while waiting for the decision of the filed cases against her. What was the lesson from the story? We do all have our time, now is Aquino's time and Estrada's time of being once a prisoner was over, the very latest now is GMA's turn now in the hot seat. I just hope we will not be a country that would be used to jail our own leaders, not a good sight. Let's not rejoice for the misery of our enemy. Vengeance is not ours.
