Exams days are finally over. No more days of rushing on assignments & burning mid night oil for last min exam preparation! Feeling excited but not easy to let go when the days come to apart from my comfort zone.. feel anxious entering into the working world out there.. We had graduation nights after our final exam @ Grand Millennium for dinner event. It was really grand that night because it was also my first time attending dinner function @ a 5 stars hotel!!

Our first activity was a guessing games and I was in the first team!! We gotten only 6 correct and we lost that night. The punishment wasn't really cruel actually.. everyone was smilling before the punishment was executed!

Our second games called Kings I think! It makes me nervous.. again my team lost.. my gosh... luckily no punishment executed hehehe

Last week of Uni Life

Wow. final exam and the last paper going to be next week! There are list of stuff to be done during this busy exam period and one of it is taking a graduation speech video recording which I have done it today. I m glad that I didn't do it by myself and we make plans to join with chipsmore group.. and I think I almost laugh my guts out. It was really funny the kind of questions to be asked and answers especially with a natural comedian with us. hehe..

Though some ffk but cannot blame them I guess! As if I am brave enough talking my hearts out in front of everyone.. well I manage to just go with the flow when the camera's were passing around.. adding few words here and there.. haha.. hope there is nothing embarrassing coming out from it.. we were quite high to be honest! all in all I am really relieved to have done it anyway and kind of hoping I don't look like a crazy zombie.. I was having kind of last min preparation till this morning and went straight for exam =(

So instead of preparing for PP paper.. I am stuck preparing my presentation which I am praying & working hard not to get downgraded! my CGPA depends on it!! lol.. and the next day after presentation we will be attending our graduation night at a 5 stars grand hotel @ Grand Millennium so I guess all the girls are busy on the diet mode I on the hand gain a KG during the exam period! wth.. I hope I din not use food to replace stress.. or am I not stress enough.. arhg either way I still gain weight =(

And another event looking forward to will be the genting trip with all dear coursemates. Hoping it to be a great one =) Really hope this is not the end of our journey together.. but a new beginning for all of us!!

Renovation

I am back! Sorry that my blog was closed for “renovation” the last couple of days.. I didn’t meant to block anyone from my life k.. funny some questions that I get asked hehe.. Well at least I know my blog is not dead hehe.. it’s weird that my “dropping by box” still able to get spam when the whole blog can only be read by the author! Thought of wanting to clear some of the stuff in it and I changed the background template too.. new "skin" new life!

Exam is around the corner so I basically locks myself at home hoping to force myself do some serious readings. think I am having brain death d cause nothing seems to get into the head haih. T.T One of the good thing about having study week is I get to be a pig whenever I want. Eat whenever I want. Sleep whenever I want. Some times I felt like a "privileged citizen" (not in a good way!!). Study week was more like a torturing lonely days for me.. I wish to hang out with friends but I force myself to "bai guan" and then I complain about being bored. sobs.. Dear took me for dinner the other night @ Hanazen Japanese Restaurant at Jaya One. Some food pictures to share =p

I don't remember the set name but Bento set cost RM45+ (it comes with prawns, salmons, mushrooms, lettuce, garlic rice, chawan mushi, octopus & fruits)

The Salmon bento set was on promotion RM20+ (u see the difference?!) It comes with fresh salmon, rice, octopus, chawan mushi & fruits

Went back to UTAR for our class photo sessions today and it was a relieved that today have no class =p

I didn't know it can be so tiring just to take photos and came back home with aching leg but it was a great day to take group pictures with the whole course mates! Time really flies I still couldn't believe I am leaving UTAR so soon! Time to be independent and leave my little comfort zone..

Hope to see everyone is doing fine future and be able to attend everyone's wedding night.. hmmmm maybe dats abit too far hahaha =.=''

Skytex Extreme Challenge @ Bukit Cahaya Shah Alam

Skytrex with my coursemates! Though I have told myself I never want to go for skytrex anymore after my Big thrill adventure.. somehow I ended up going for the Extreme challenge (the harder version)! hehe..

Before the game begins.. we had briefing and tutorials.. that is why it seems so easy here..

This is one of the earliest level.. there are a total of 23 levels... suppose to be a warm up game.. but I was clutching for my life hehe

Instead of standing on one rope balancing I suppose to stand on 2 but then......

Half way to the end.. I was so tired that everything did not seem as scary in fact I want to end it FAST.. It just got too tiring and all I can think about is 100plus!

Phew! finally we have graduated! and we did not skip any of the games except the monkey bar~~ =)

Felt relieved that I do not have to go through that again! and this time I meant it I not going back to skytrex! XP

I have been doing much research for the past few months and I honestly could not make a decision.. especially not on something as important as my life. In fact I have been worrying until I actually felt numb about feeling scared.. it's just felt lonely to have to go through the process by myself.. nobody can actually offer some really good advice.. or even if it is I not sure about their credibility.. I guess that's life.. nothing is secured.. its all about allocation of risk! So I have decided to live life while I can hehe..

Is it just me or do any of you have a stranger friends that you used to know that person pretty well until something happen or did not happen and all of the sudden both of you are getting further and further away from each other. Now it feels so weird to even talk to that stranger.. let alone hanging out together.. is this what I suspect a lack of chemistry? or lack of daily dose of interaction? I wish I could be a little initiative and keep in touch then again I can't handle rejection if it was not reciprocated. My "skin" is just that thin...

What's in a day

Last night I had Sushi Zanmai!! and already missing the food now... anyway this morning had a hard time waking up and so reluctant to go Hospital for Hepatitis A & B blood test and after the painful blood test only to have another round of shock when the bill came out to be RM140++ just for 2 blood test! So much for medication consultant fees when all the doctor did was suggest us to test for hepatitis A as well =S If we knew better might as well go for a FULL lab blood test for RM88!

Also went to Sea park for lunch when Pete called nearby at Paramount that one lady was being pulled by an agressive robber for the handbag she was holding and she went straight down to floor injured the heads and bloods were seen.. The robber is oblivious of the crowded area but he still dared to rob.. what happen to our cold blooded society.. he however did not manage to pull out her handbag but sadly ran away without being caught... People please be more careful with your surroundings!!

Then the reject shop clearance sales (only until tomorrow 13 June 2010) was a bliss.. bro bought 2 jeans for RM25 each only.. I think mens wear are more decent there.. A quality short pants for me only at RM10!! Fitting rooms are seen and not many people therefore the shopping & trying gonna be a smooth one.. hehe.. Hope to go to the Bata sales tmr!!

First time to Sri Nirwana banana leaf rice for dinner and as usual every time I have Indian food.. I had a hard time controlling my food intake!

The waiters are all friendly and tooo generous with their servings!!!

The standard servings are 3 dish of veges and rice.

We add on on the one piece of fried chicken, briyani rice comes with another chicken drumsticks and 2 cups of Raita for easy digestion..

I like my Mango Lassi drinks something like a yogurt drinks good for digestion I was told =p and I like their teh o lemon too!

It doesn't sound much here until you take a look at my dinner portion that day!!

This place indeed serve delicious and not sure about authentic Indian food but they still tasted good!! although the indoor is kinda stuffy but I will definitely come back again sitting outdoor of course!! =D

Shoot!! something wrong with my phone.. cannot even detect any of my pictures taken with it! sigh..not able to upload any of my food pictures.. I hate AP phone!! =(

Khuntai Restaurant Thai Food @ Jalan Gasing PJ

Last weekend was a special day to me.. me and my family went to a thai restaurant for celebration.. I been to this restaurant for a couple of times d.. for a couple of delicacies. For starters, I love their "Sa Lai" fruit juice. So far I haven't found any good Sa lai fruit juice like theirs. And they specialty which is the Jelly noodles.. which I thikn they have changed the noodles into something different over the years.. (last time there probably was 2 years back!)

Seafood tom yum soup (large) for RM33. The soups was full of seafood and are fresh though the tom yum soup is abit too oily and it's aroma of tom yum is not strong enough.. That seafood soup portion is enough for 6 person!

Petai Sambal dish.. RM11.. this dish first time ordering and result were so-so.. we did not finish the prawn for this as the prawn tasted not too fresh..

This fried kang kong RM 8.. did not look like its kang kung.. but still tasted so good! Warn you the large portion of this snacks.. it feeds 5 of us just nice.. probably it's abit too oily to consume too much

deep fried Soft shell crabs (RM15) with sauce. I love this with rice as it's too salty to be eaten by itself.

Jelly Noodle Claypot with 2 crabs (RM28).. the jelly noodles tasted nice and crabs were definitely fresh and sweeet~~

Sa Lai fruit juice a jug cost RM14 can feed 4-5 person

RM10 Italian pizza

I found this hidden place thanks to PC who told me about this place which is just opposite of PJ hilton inside Giant complex and next to the secret recipe shop. I could not remember the name but there is only one Italian pizza shop and it has a long queue on this very saturday night 9pm. I have in fact taken my dinner and just wanted to try out this Italian pizza as supper. I bought 3 whole piece for RM30 total! =D

The first piece on top is the Garlic cheese pizza. It's cheesy just a little bit too salty for me though. But still tasted good for the price I paid! Worth it!

This is the Siciliana! Overall nice strong taste of olive if u like it!

My favorite is still the hawaii pizza.. all the pizza can be divided into 8 pieces and this Hawaii pizza was finished almost instantly among us!! lol highly recommended! By the way the pizza are all in thin layers only. Due to the high demand from customer, the workers in the "kitchen" which have 2 oni were working non-stop therefore abit of burn is expected.

Look at the pictures I have taken while waiting for the pizzas!! I did not manage to see the Italy boss but I was told that there is an Italy boss who opened the shop.. customers who dine in however is VERY little though. Oni 2 tables are occupied. But the queue is in fact much more!

Due to the queue... I think i waited roughly 30mins for it as there are 5 person before me. While waiting, I snap some picture on the workers on act. The first thing I noticed was that they DID NOT put on any hand glove. Hmmmmmm *sorry for my eagle eyes but I do notice these things and there are countless incidence that I found flies or weird stuff on my food!

Overall i like the pizza and the price!! If the workers are willing to put on hand gloves I will definitely go in again! =)

Char Siew Zhai Wantan Mee

BBQ char siew wanton noodles DRY (above), Soup (below)

The high flying wanton noodles at the Paramount garden near to Giant was pretty unexpected. Not only they tasted good the price was pretty reasonable to me RM4++ per bowl for small portion which is just fine for me! I saw the workers doing the flying wanton on the air and was tempted to take a video of it however due to my low quality video camera phone the effects turn out to be blurish.. this is the nicely done version I found from the you tube! definitely will come back again! =p

Missing the bouncy wanton and char siew.. I personally feel that if the cut to thinner layer will be even nicer!! slightly hard and chewy XP

Recently went to Bukit Tinggi for a day trip.

Loves the scenery and the weather was not that cooling at all.. just abit windy =)

Passed by the rabbits parks, french village, japanese garden.. the views were superb.. but food in french village although we get a discount coupon about 15% but not worth money spent as the food were expensive and so so after doing some research on net =p

Pictures tell a thousand words..enjoy =D also on that day I wore a piece of floral dress for the first time in my life.. therefore model of the day for that day was me XP (which I bought on9 at a rather cheap price +-RM40 *happy* where can u still get such cheap dress hehe from Dr. Pizzicato...click here for her e-boutique)

One thing I like about Japanese garden is their FRESH air.. love their impatient roses & water falls!!

Rabbits parks cost us RM3 and we bought a bottle of water for RM3 from there too!! cut throat!!

One of the shops in French Village is this plastering painting shop.. choose a mould an paint with water brush.. I went in out of curiosity because of the crowd at first and in the end I became one of the crowded crowd..

Overall I love trip mainly because of the scenery and the FRESH air at Japanese Garden plus the moment shared with loved ones of course.

Fun Taipei TeaCafe

Fun Taipei @ SS2

Wow finally went to try taiwanese Fun Taipei cafe at SS2 today after viewing some of the reviews on them. We ordered their noodles with oyster although reading a bad review on it that the writer want to puke after eating the oyster.. hehe.. we ordered it anyway because one doesn't give up until he gets the shits himself.. heard this saying before? =p

I personally quite like the taste of noodles oyster but it is slightly too salty compared to the "shi lin" plus the oyster did look out of shape! Tasted fine though.. just fine ya.... the set comes with fried tofu yum yum hot and crunchy and sourish vege not bad.....RM 11.5+

Second dish was the mince noddles which is quite big bowl seriously also set comes with vege and tofu, bitter soups!! this is a rather full set I was full after all these!! RM12+ The ambience were quiet and service were pretty satisfactory.

Most importantly I think this is a place more for hang out as they have all kind of bubble teas... I ordered Mint milky bubble tea.. special enough for me at RM3.5

Busy April

Exam is coming soon!!! that's why you did not see me for quite some time now.. not that I am that hardworking working on my studies 24/7.. but I do feel guilty to blog.. here are some of my recent updates on my current life happenings though.. how does my new puppy look like? =D

Another blackie at home!! She is an irresistible cutie doggie.. can't help to play with her all day long. So far I have taught her some basic lesson such as "SIT", "NO", "WAIT", "COME" and "OUT" hehehe.. still need more practice though.. luckily my old dog accepted her new companion and actually seems like having much fun with the puppy together I no longer got her attention.. aren't they suppose to fight for owner's attention I heard? hehe =p

In the month of April, I went to the NAGOMI shabu shabu Japanese Restaurant at Jaya 33. I love the environment and the food here yum yum.. I really cannot get bored of Japanese food.. hehe.. some pictures taken while waiting for the food

Starter set consist of what's stated in the menu above.. unless add on for meat else you will be on vegetarian meal with that set. Too bad the bento set not available during dinner hour. =(

Types of soups and sauces they have. I personally love the sesame sauce and original nagomi soup. There are sashimi on the menu too which look appetizing and way much expensive compared to those sushi fast food outlet..

Also.. this is the price for Beauty! hehe there are more to come though.. I have several weddings to attend (not my own, k!) this year.. plus also perhaps we have prom night end of my final year.. so everything comes in one shot.. =)

Finally I am sick

Another item in my wishing list gotta be crossed because i did not meet up to my own expectation! I am sick again! It all started with light sore throat in the morning and by the end of the class i was already having light fever which I attempt on panadol on that night. I am no longer having fever since that night but sore throat/ coughing/ phlegm problem and blocked nose are with me now! It's the 7th day of flu symptoms now.. in a way i am glad it started only after all my assignments have submitted. Well next week we are having PM quiz... it better fix itself k else I have to bring myself see doctor (hate!).. currently my list of self medication includes:

Vit-C soluble pill

Lemonade honey drink

Panadol soluble pill

Anti-inflammatory lozenges

100plus

fruits

Surprisingly, my appetite is as good as ever.. though the taste bud got worsen slightly hehe... hopefully i am well enough for tomorrow's expedition trip! *pray for fast recovery*

BBQ Chicken Outlet

Yesterday went to have a more luxurious lunch compared to the usual breads / nasi lemak from canteen during lunch break with pig zhi & piggy chi. We went to try the BBQ Chicken Outlet located at Wangsawalk. According to the menu.. BBQ chicken is Korean's No. 1 Chicken Restaurant and BBQ stands for Best of the Best Quality instead of the common term we all know as Barbecue.

The Fish & Chips with Mustard sauce (RM12++) Something different from the usual mayonnaise with lemon though..

BBQ jerk chicken non-spicy version (RM17++) This is the non-spicy version.. somehow the table next to us ordered the spicy version looks much more appetizing... The BBQ chicken tasted sweet instead of salty.. depends on your personal preference

Creamy Mushroom Soup (RM3+) I would say OKAY, tastes like the usual Cream mushroom can.. hehe

Mushroom Fried Rice with BBQ Chicken (RM9++) The Chicken tastes exactly the same as the BBQ jerk chicken- sweetness.. The Mushroom fried rice has a nice aroma though..

The other day I went to Jaya One had the same thing located at JAYA ONE too.. Looks like the BBQ Chicken outlet covered alot of places too.. Their website can be found here (Click HERE)

Honeymoon cafe

Today QQ mentioned about Honeymoon cafe.. and I thought of the pictures taken last year at Honeymoon cafe! hehe.. They have nice cozy environment at Honeymoon it's a good place for yum cha to me and something different from the usual drinks u ordered..

This is the Marble Soy Bean Curd (Tau Foo Fa).. It's gray in colour and cost RM6 per bowl.

The Honeymoon I went to located at One-U, but there are other branch else where too. Overall it's a nice yum cha spot for get-together. They have MORE varieties than you can imagine for!

P/s: Been slightly busy to update my food menu lately.. and didn't take much pictures though. Almost half dead from all the assignments! This semester is indeed a busy one!
