WOW! I love Boojiboo! They recently sent me this awesome apron to try out. Don't you love the colors and vintage style? I know I do!! It seems my cooking improves too when I wear it. ;)

I was excited to see that the fabric that goes around my neck is a tie. I can adjust it and don't have to try to get it over a ponytail, like other aprons that just have a loop.

This wonderful apron also has long ties so I can tie in the front. I prefer it that way as it feels more secure and comfortable to me.

Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce Giveaway!

I rarely buy sauces for myself at the grocery store. Honestly I just never actually think about it. I try to get in and out with the items I need and don't stop to look for new and interesting products to purchase. That's because I normally have my three little kids with me and there isn't enough time to peruse the isles and still make it out with my sanity.

Well, recently Country Bob's found me and sent an email asking if I wanted to review their All Purpose Sauce. I, of course, said that I would love to! Boy am I happy I did!

Last night we had chicken with the sauce as it had just been delivered by the UPS guy in the afternoon. I stuck some frozen chicken breasts in my dutch oven and poured maybe 1/8 cup of the sauce over the top of the chicken, put the lid on and baked it. I would have grilled, but the weather was pretty crappy and I am a fair-weather sorta griller.

I thought the chicken turned out great! I liked the flavor. It had a little tang to it, which I prefer in a sauce and was surprised that it worked as well as it did with only the little bit that I used. A little goes a long way!

Next time I am going to have to try to use it on fries or ribs. That would be superb! I bet it's even better when using it on the grill.

I love to wear fun little hats. When my husband took me on a surprise trip to London two years ago for our anniversary, I bought myself two hats at a street vendor there. Those are my favorites! They are great to throw on when you think you are having a bad hair day!
