Comment: A confirmation of trend reversal by the Inverse Head and Shoulder formation. It surges above 100dMA with good volume - going to move up to test $0.78. If it plunges below $0.70 - move down to test $0.66.

Since today is the last day of 2011, I will write a short summary on my stock investment for year 2011.

Gain/Loss (%) = X * 100/Y

Realized Gain/Loss: 38.16%

where X = Realized Profit
where Y = Investment Capital at the beginning of 2011
Dividend contributes to 10.7% of the gain.

The high realized gain percentage is mainly due to divestment of my Genting shares.
Currently, my portfolio suffers from an unrealized loss due to the recent market correction.

During the month of October 2011, I had cut loss on the following stocks to lower the risk:

Dyna-Mac
GAR - wrong move since its price went higher.
IndoAgri - wrong move since its price went higher.
Noble - correct move since its price went lower.
EzionHldg - wrong move since its price went higher.
CMA

However, during the month of November 2011, I have bought the following stocks:

Hyflux - at an average price of $1.3057.
Noble - at an average price of $1.1625.
Dyna-Mac - at $0.415.
Sabana REIT - at $0.87.
Yangzijiang - at an average price of $0.8825.

Look out for gaps to be closed!!

Gaps that yet to close for the following shares:

CMA - $1.375 to $1.395 (hit high $1.375, and closed at $1.355)
GAR - $0.69 to $0.71 (still far away)
IndoAgri - $1.44 to $1.46 (still far away), $1.515 to $1.59 (far far away.. hee)
Noble - $1.685 to $1.735 (still far away)
Yangzijiang - $1.04 to $1.07 (hit high at $1.045, and closed at $1.04)

Divestment of Genting

I have been reducing my Genting shares since it broke the support at $2. I have sold them in batches at $1.9x, $1.8x, $1.7x, $1.6x and $1.5x. So, Genting is no longer my biggest investment. During the recent sell down, I have slowly move my capital into:

CMA
FSL
GAR
IndoAgri
Noble
Yangzijiang

Macquarlie starts Genting Hong Kong at "outperform"

SINGAPORE, Jan 24 - Macquarie has initiated coverage of Singapore-listed Genting Hong Kong , which operates cruise ships, with an "outperform" rating and a target price of $0.60.
STATEMENT:
Macquarie said Genting Hong Kong offers "rare exposure" to Asia's land and cruise gaming business, and three of its four ships in the region cater to casino consumers.
"Genting Hong Kong is an undercovered, yet liquid stock, exposed to the Asian gaming theme and a growing U.S. tourism market," Macquarie said in a report.
It also noted that a possible foray into Sri Lanka's gaming sector and an initial public offering of Norwegian Cruise Line, which Genting owns 50 percent of, could be potential share price catalysts.
At 0318 GMT, shares of Genting were up 2.1 percent at $0.48, and have risen 6.7 percent so far this year.
