Lawsuit threatening, ethics complaint filing, hissy fit throwing, non tax paying, eyebrow threading needing Lyda (what a mess) Ness-Garcia has yet another nickname to add to her resume. Libel Mess-Garcia.

In a front page story in the El Paso Times today, click here for web version, Mess-Garcia's latest mail out was said to be "libelous and defamatory". In her mail out and through other internet sources Libel Mess-Garcia stated "Unlike my opponent, I do not have a criminal record". Referring to an incident that involved her opponent and a tenant. The District Attorney's office confirmed that there was no arrest just a misdemeanor complaint. So Libel Mess-Garcia's allegations seem to be unsubstantiated. Mess-Garcia being the unrelenting lawyer that she is responded by saying something my five year old would say. Well, she did it too! Mess-Garcia responded by saying that her opponent's last mail out was "also false campaigning". Like that justifies her actions.

In the words of and with a picture posted by of one of her henchmen, Jaime Abeytia, "wrong again Charlie Brown". Libel Mess-Garcia has filed ethics complaints that were tossed out for not having any merit, she has tried to file charges against her opponent, but failed once again. She has threatened to sue yours truly for posts on my blog but she has failed. Now I know how David K feels, so disliked. But I will tell you she has really started to irk me. I'm not sure if she really understands what she is doing by stirring the pot. She doesn't realize that by using her friends like Richard Wiles, Bill Ellis and Danny Rollings will only open up a can of worms that would not be beneficiary to Wiles' re-election bid. There are way to many skeletons in the closet to be stirring anything up. No, this has nothing to do with Wiles lifestyle. That is so old and such a non issue. People like Jaime Abeytia jump right up and call me anti-gay for going after a gay man. Then that means I would be anti-Mexican as well for going after Jaime, even though he was born on the 4th of July in Arizona. I don't get the whole 4th of July thing either but that's his claim to being patriotic. Justice is blind, or at least it is supposed to be. So is injustice. I don't care if you are gay, straight or bisexual. I don't care if you are black, white, red or yellow, if you unjustly treat anyone I will call you out on it. I'm not going to sit here and cower down to the name calling. I will stand up to what I believe in. For those who still can't understand why I do what I do, here it is in plain English.

I am a victim of police brutality, police abuse and police corruption. I am constantly threatened by members of the Sheriff's department for speaking the truth. Richard Wiles has even stooped so low as to send a message to my sister who is battling cancer telling me that it would be best if I backed off. Sorry Wiles, its not that easy. The scars on my body still remind me of that day back in August 2004 when your officers brutality abused me. The same scars remind me of the day in 2006 when I sat in your office and you lied to me about the two police officer's discipline records. You, Jaime Abeytia, Bill Ellis, Danny Rollings and Libel Mess-Garcia can roll your eyes all you want. But I assure you justice will be served. Legal justice. Don't get your panties in a wad and claim that I am making some sort of violent threats. I am doing this for me and for every other victim of police abuse that was swept under the carpet just so you could get elected to Sheriff. Like I said before, you belong in jail instead of running one.

So if anyone is wondering why I have all of a sudden started attacking Jaime Abeytia. This is why. He is supposed to be a friend. Yet he laughs and giggles with the people who have made my life hell for the last 6 years. He stands by and allows these people to plot attacks against me at meetings A friend wouldn't let that happen. But that doesn't matter to Jaime Abeytia. Politics comes first to Jaime. He doesn't care about anything else but getting his candidates elected even if it means stopping all over someone he used to call his friend. But it is my fault. I allowed it to happen. But no sense in crying over spilled milk. You have to roll with the punches. This just reminds me of that saying. "Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are." Jaime has some shady friends.

Liar, Liar pants on Fire! Throw The Book At Him.

Congressman Anthony Weiner was literally caught with his pants down about ten days ago after "sexting" a picture of his "junk" to a women. The Congressman led the media and his constituents on a wild charade claiming his Twitter account had been hacked. He lied to the cameras, he lied to his constituents and he lied to his family. He even had Jon Stewart defend him on national television only to have egg on his face as well.

Today Weiner confessed to his improper use of a social media outlet by sending pictures of his "weiner" to a women in Seattle. Rumors of pictures to other women and possible affairs also have surfaced.. He and his liberal smear campaign had called conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart a liar after he posted about an affair and pictures sent to the women in Seattle by the New York Congressman. The bad news is that Weiner is not willing to resign. He argued that his actions showed bad judgement but claims that he never violated his oath of office.

I guess lying to the media, lying his fellow congressman, lying to his constituents and lying to his family is not considered conduct unbecoming of a Democratic Congressman. Bloggers asked for Edward's head a few days ago but have been silent on Weinergate. Why? Because Weiner has been a very strong advocate against the Republican party. Getting rid of the Weiner Dude would be detrimental to the Democratic smear campaign. But then again keeping him might also hurt them.

I just wonder if Weiner stays if he would be as hard as he once was? Would he stand up as tall as he did before? Would he be able to last as long as he did under pressure? Will his performance be affected and will he have the same stamina now that he has received this low blow? I don't know about you but I just feel so weird talking so freely about Weiner. If I were catholic, but I'm not, I would go confess after reading this blog. Weiner is a sacred subject and this blog has just made a mockery of it.

Oh what the heck. It's too easy not to make the jokes. Why let the late night guys have all the fun? I just hope that all these jokes get this perv out of office. The "people have done worse" defense does not apply here. You sent a picture of your "junk" to several women then you need to pack all your junk and leave town buddy.

Needed Some Time Off To Work......But I'm Baaaaaack!!!

OK, so I took a few days off. You guys have to realize that this blogging stuff is pro bono, for the public's good and not for profit. I don't get paid to do it or receive any sort of compensation for doing it so sometimes my work will keep me from blogging. Really, not all of us have it like Jaime Abeytia. I would love to have a job that would allow me to use company equipment on company time to help me put material on my blog. I'm honestly jealous. Entravision supplies Jaime with still cameras, video cameras, a smart phone and editing software to edit any pictures or video he takes so he can post on the KHRO 1150 Facebook page and so he can photo shop it and use it for his own left leaning personal blog and Facebook page. Don't believe me. Just look at the pictures on the Jaime's facebook page here and the pictures on the KHRO 1150 Facebook page here. HMMMMM, they look so much alike. Jaime took the picture using a company camera as he was "covering" an event for the station. He then used a computer at the Entravision station studios to edit the picture and post on his personal Facebook page. Not tyhe first or the last time he will do it. Funny thing is that he criticizes Lyda Ness-Garcia's opponent for using City equipment for campaigning when Jaime uses company equipment and time to do the same. His response, well I'm not running for office. I know Jaime like a book and that's exactly what he is going to say. Oh well, Jaime will be Jaime.

Since we are on the Jaime subject. He is probably going to be really pissed off that I used a music video by the rapper Eminem. Jaime is one of those hard core "The Race" kind of guys and posting anything that is not by Vicente Fernandez or has low riders and girls with "sharpie" eye brows will really make him mad. But then again he is still mad that I went by Sammy C on the radio and not something more "ethnic" like Pancho Lopez. (That's a funny novela, I have to admit I have watched an episode or two........a week.) Everything is about being "Mexican" enough for Jaime. That's really funny coming from a guy whose Spanish only consists of the words.......ese, vato, and orale. Most of the time in the same sentence too. But I look at it like a guy with penis envy. WHAT?! Yeah I said it. Penis envy. He is trying to overcome his short comings, not speaking the language, not really understanding what people from Mexico really want since he doesn't really understand their language and not being born in his "homeland" so he overcompensates with the whole fist in the air "The Race" thing. You want to be a "real" Mexican? I'll tell you what my father told me. Take your little nalgas and live in Mexico one year. You want to talk about "the Struggle"? Struggle a year in poverty and corruption then you can throw your fist up in the air. Thats if you have any energy left. Support your family on pennies a day, work your hands to the bone, work in inhumane work conditions, live in substandard housing that you have to pay full price for with your chump change of a salary because you get no government assistance, pay for your children's education, I'm talking about elementary, middle school and high school age children, not college that's even more expensive, for one year and then come back and tell me what kind of Mexican you are. Till then, you are just another case of penis envy. Those who yell the loudest have the least.

But now about me. I recently posted an accusation about Lyda Mess-Garcia. Unfortunately their was an exception to the rule. So sue me! Oh wait. I am being threatened with lawsuits. The Mess gang, to include Jaime Abeytia and Danny Rollings have decided to post threatening and intimidating comments on my blog to include threats of being sued. What did I expect after blogging about a lawyer. This is the same lady, I use that loosely considering the paternity tests are still pending (zing!), who has tried to press charges on her opponent and who has had ethics complaints she filed against her opponent dismissed after being found to not have any merit. I will say my cooments were wrong but I am not retracting anything. You can KMA! I don't curse on my blog but I bet you can make out what that means. Jaime is rolling, not Rollings, I said rolling his eyes right about now. Interesting thing is that one of the "intimidating" comments posted by a made up pen name some how ended up word for word on Jaime's blog. Once again David K was wrong. But then again he said he hoped he wasn't wrong this time. But he was. Jaime is one of Lyda Mess-Garcia's hired guns. His little 11 day self pity escapade of a retirement was just Jaime's way of getting an "Attaboy" from people because he felt that he was not appreciated. How old are you again Jaime? Tan peludo y tan lloron? (A little too hairy to be such a crybaby don't you think?) Jaime is going full force on the Mess campaign. He won't let something as insignificant like a friendship get in the way. Lose is a four letter word to him. Losing is not an option.....again. He will roll around in bed with the enemy just to get this win. I hope just figuratively. But then again Jaime is the gayest straight man I have ever met. Come on he is the Vice Chair( I know President but this will just piss him off more) of the Stonewall Democrats. Not just a member, but the Vice Chair. Talk about awkward.

What the heck am I ranting about? Yeah. I'm ranting. I'm not a reporter so don't expect any reporting. I am just a blogger. A guy who feels like his words might, and I emphasize might, relate to other like minded people. But there is no scientific proof to bacjk that last statement. So don't expect professionalism here. Funny thing is that it is the Jaime followers who posted their complaints on my blog. Yet he is the one whose mouth is worse than a drunken sailors. But who am I to judge. I have the worst put together blog in El Paso. I can't write worth a darn. I couldn't make it past the second level of a first grade spelling bee, did I spell that right? My high school English teacher who I had for English 1-4 is probably rolling over in her grave right about now and the teacher who diagnosed me with dyslexia, funny thing is that I spelled it backwards before I corrected it, in the military probably shot himself after finding out I din't do a damn thing to fix my problem. But guess what? I'm not here to be a Pulitzer prize winner. I'm not hoping to be hired by any news publication. I just do this for fun and to piss off people like Jaime Abeytia who are so full of their own left wing caca that it isn't even funny. If you find my crappy blogging at least one bit entertaining and just a tad bit informative then I have succeeded. If not then you should click on another link.

Since we are talking about complaints on my blog. Danny Rollings, you may have seen him in the gay porn Steele Series, has been posting the complaints on my blog stating that he is a Republican and that he finds my blogging and attacks on Mess offensive. Let's take a step back here. This is the same guy, I use that loosely, who claimed to be a hard core converted Democrat. He is the President of the Stonewall Democrats who denies being a registered voter in New Mexico. Not just a voter but a registered Republican in New Mexico. How do I know its him? Well, someone who knows Daisy very well, yeah he is referred to as Daisy, knows the pen names that Rollings uses and the trends that Rollings has and has identified several of Rollings posts as a conservative or a Republican as post by the President of the El Paso Stonewall Democrats.

One last ax to grind. Jaime had posted last week that I was wrong about what I had said about "people" quiting the Stonewall Democrats. He said I exaggerated when it was only two people who quit the group. But in the same post he said that they have five paid members. So lets do the math. You have 5 paid members, according to the State Stonewall Democrats you need 10 paid members to be an official chapter so I guess you are not, and two quit. That means about 28.5% percent of your members quit. Your right Jaime, 28.5% does NOT constitute people quiting. I'm so sorry Jaime.

Texas Senate Takes Out SBOE Chair. What Now?

The Texas Senate, whose attacks were led by El Paso's very own Senator Jose Rodriguez, has removed SBOE Chair Gail Lowe from her position leaving that position vacant. Senator Rodriguez, who must have realized that Lowe had no educational experience, led the charge against her confirmation in the senate. This now forces Governor Perry to have to appoint a new Chair to the State Board Of Education.

There are 15 members on the board all with different backgrounds and different levels of educational experience. You have members who have sat on the board for several terms and you have some freshman. You have liberals on the left and honestly some on the right as well, who would love the opportunity to be the Chair. Unfortunately for them the appointments come from Republican Governor Rick Perry. So who will Governor Perry appoint?

Senator Rodriguez' actions in the senate may have opened the doors for El Paso's own Charlie Garza. Garza was in the trenches battling it out for teachers and students when the state budget was being hashed out. Being an educator himself, he realized how important it was to get as much funding to the school districts and met with local school superintendents and school boards to hear their concerns. Something that had not been done for over 23 years in El Paso. Garza spoke out when the Texas legislature "swallowed" $4 billion to help meet budget shortfalls leaving school districts worried about their children's future. Garza supports teaching TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills), supports teachers and most importantly supports students. Something that can't be said about his predecessor.

There has never been an SBOE Chair from El Paso. Better yet, there has never been a Hispanic Chair on the SBOE. Senator Rodriguez might just have done something great for El Paso. Now I feel bad for bashing him so much. First he admits that El Pasoans are being targeted by drug cartels, at the University Medical Center hospital, and now he potentially gets Charlie Garza nominated to the Chair of the SBOE. There might be some hope for Democratic Senator Jose Rodriguez.

But of course we still have to wait for Rick Perry to nominate him. I'm kind of jumping the gun here. But lets take a look at his credentials. Garza is an assistant principal in the Clint Independent School District in El Paso. He has served as an education administrator in college, high school, middle and elementary school. Garza earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, a Master’s Degree from Old Dominion University, did doctoral work at The George Washington University and completed his course work for his superintendent certificate at The University of Texas at El Paso. And if that wasn't enough, he beat out the now infamous Larry Medina in a highly contested race for President of the El Paso Community College student government back in the day. (I was told that Medina lost the election because he said he was in the race one day, then he was out of the race but left all his campaign signs up on the Community College campuses throughout the election after giving a tearful speech about why he wasn't running to the school newspaper.) Garza then went on to become the Texas Jr College Student Association President. So who better to be the head of a board that over looks education than an actual educator?

I guess this rumor will get those atheist left wing extremist at TFN (Texas Freedom Network) all worked up. They have been attacking Gail Lowe on their website since her appointment in 2009 and are all giddy about her not being confirmed. I would really love to see the look on their faces if Governor Perry nominates Charlie Garza as the Chair of the SBOE. TFN had pretty much stuck a fork in Garza after the redistricting committee butchered Garza's district. According to Garza, "no one saw the complete map prior to voting on it". Anyone with half a brain could see it was the committee's way of trying to eliminate conservatives from the SBOE. Now we just wait and see if Senator Rodriguez' actions make El Paso the home of the new SBOE Chair.

Thanks Senator Rodriguez, I could give you a big wet kiss right about now.

Lyda Ness-Garcia Accepts Corporate Loans

As if all her screw up weren't enough. Lyda Ness has gotten herself in another mess. Her campaign finance report dated April 14, 2011 was turned in with a schedule E (campaign loans). The document shows that she loaned herself, no wait, her business The Law Offices of Lyda Ness-Garcia PC loaned her $500 on 3/17/2011 and then loaned her $2000 on 4/11/2011. Unfortunately her company is a Professional Corporation. Under the Texas Ethics Commission it is prohibited for a corporation to make loans to any type of campaign unless it's a financial institution.

Lyda Ness-Garcia's Problems Continue.

I had posted a piece last week about a candidate survey Lyda Ness-Garcia had answered. Click here to see the post. I then posed the question if she would answer the same considering all that his reported about her. New documents have surfaced that show that she lied on that survey back in 2008. She lied then and she continues to lie know. Yet you don't hear KVIA and Maria Garcia say a word about it.

There is not a blogger in town who has not posted some sort of incriminating document. Oh wait Jaime Abeytia hasn't but he is on her team. Each document should have its own segment on the 10 o'clock news but you never hear a peep about it. To make things worse this women has the nerve to file ethics complaints and file charges with law enforcement agencies because her opponent allegedly used copy paper and her city e-mail to "campaign". Well if using paper and city computers gets someone all this attention then why isn't the federal government sending in Seal Team 6 to arrest Lyda Ness-Garcia for owing all that money to so many people? Can anybody answer that question?

A Memorial Day Message

I just wanted to take some time and say that I am proud of my friend Gunnery Sargent Angel Montanez who is currently on deployment on a tour of the Western Pacific, or as we Marines and Sailors so commonly refer to as WestPac. He is just one of the many Marines I served with who to this day still wake up and put on the uniform. Today is memorial day. The day we thank those who are serving, those who have served and remember those who gave their lives for this country. Please remember to show your appreciation for them all on this Memorial Day.

Even though Montanez is out on deployment, I know he and fellow Marines who served with HMM-164 back in 1997 take a little time each year on this date to remember our fallen heroes. Fourteen years ago we lost four of our own. Lance Corporal Guajardo, Corporal Tsoris, Captain Barnes and Major Dogs lost their lives in a training accident off the coast of California as our squadron was preparing to deploy for WestPac '97 aboard the USS Peleliu. Something went terribly wrong and their helicopter went into the water as they were practicing landing maneuvers using night vision goggles. Rescue teams called off the search after 24 hours. Memorial services were held back in Marine Corps Air Station El Toro. It was a very somber time. We had services yet there were no caskets. We got into our dress uniforms and gathered at the Air Station's church to grieve together knowing that our friends were still out at see. Their bodies were not recovered from the bottom of the ocean for another two weeks by special deep sea divers.

The training mission, the deployment and all of our lives might have moved on but we will never forget them. We all have our own way to keep their memories alive. Every time I hear a helicopter fly over I look up and remember the good old times. I look at this picture with Montanez in his flight suit standing next to a PHROG (CH-46E) and it reminds me of those guys. This is what they were wearing the day they died. Its hard to see someone in a flight suit and not get a flashback. Its also hard to look at anything with the number 11 and not remember them. They were flying in aircraft 11 that day.

Please take time today to thank those who have served but make sure you also thank those who we can't thank in person. They may not be here with is in the flesh but they are with us in spirit. Let them know that their sacrifices are appreciated and will never be forgotten.

I'm pretty sure Guajardo, Tsoris, Barnes and Doggs are watching from above so I just want to give them one big OOOOH-RAH!

To all of you who are still serving I wish you well. I am so proud of you guys. Please stay safe. You have made it this far so don't quit now. Just a few more years so you can retire and get fat like the rest of us.

El Paso LNRC Engages BNHR And Questions Their Lobbying Activity (Spanish)

See Spanish interview here. The El Paso LNRC has publicly questioned the lobbying activities and the 501(c)(3) status, a non-profit and non-political designation, of the Border Network of Human rights led by Fernando Garcia.

In a press release to the El Paso Times the LNRC alleges that in 2009 BNHR used 72% of its budget for salaries and travel expenses. They also allege that BNHR has directly and/or indirectly contacted members of the legislature to try to affect legislation. Members of BNHR held a "vigil" at 6006 N.Mesa holding signs saying "No to HB 12" in front of State Representative Dee Margo's office, a member of the state legislature.

"This is just the latest example of BNHR's blatant disregard to their 501(c)(3) status and to the IRS regulations. We encourage people to be involved in the political process and look forward to engaging in constructive political discussions. But we also encourage those groups who participate politically to pay their fair share of taxes like the other politically involved groups do."

Aun cuando los directivos de la Red Fronteriza por los Derechos Humanos (BNHR, por sus siglas en inglés) en El Paso aseguran ser un organismo sin fines de lucro, este grupo tuvo un déficit en el 2009 al gastar cerca del 72 por ciento de su presupuesto en emolumentos para el personal y viajes, afirmó Sammy Carrejo, presidente del Consejo Nacional Republicano Latino delegación El Paso.

"En vez de utilizarlos en gente que sí lo necesita, (La Red Fronteriza) gasta los donativos en ellos mismos", expresó Carrejo, en entrevista telefónica. "Por ello, estamos entregando ante el Servicio de Recaudación Tributaria de Estados Unidos (IRS, por sus siglas en inglés) un informe respecto a la condición fiscal de la Red, a efecto de que paguen impuestos y dejen de ostentarse como una organización no lucrativa", agregó.

Según el representante de los latinos republicanos en El Paso, a los directivos del BNHR les preocupa más el generar publicidad con sus "acrobacias" políticas y "enriquecer" a sus colaboradores con viajes ostentosos, en vez de crear un diálogo constructivo a beneficio de los moradores de El Paso.

Carrejo aclaró carecer de facultades jurídicas para actuar legalmente en contra de la Red Fronteriza por los Derechos Humanos para retirársele su condición de organismo exento del pago de impuestos.

"Únicamente nos concretamos a enviar la información correspondiente ante el IRS", aclaró.

Carrejo citó el sitio cibernético del IRS donde se estipula cómo una organización no

lucrativa pudiera perder su calidad de exención fiscal.

"Si una organización trata de influir en una legislación, por ejemplo, mediante el cabildeo, ello constituye una parte sustancial de sus actividades en general", se lee en el portal del IRS.

Con base en los exámenes para establecer esa parte sustancial, se agrega, si la organización se excede en su labor de cabildeo en cualquier año fiscal se expone a ser despojada de su condición de entidad exenta del pago de impuestos y, por ende, sus ingresos serán gravables.

Además, según Carrejo, los integrantes de la Red Fronteriza enfocan sus protestas contra el Partido Republicano del Condado de El Paso, en vez de dirigirse directamente a los congresistas como el legislador Silvestre Reyes, ex jefe de la Patrulla Fronteriza, y al Senador José R. Rodríguez.

"Lo anterior representa otro ejemplo más de cómo esa Red participa en actos de intimidación política y conducta tipo pandillera", agregó Carrejo, en una declaración escrita.

Fernando García, director general de la Red Fronteriza por los Derechos Humanos en El Paso, negó los anteriores señalamientos y afirmó no tener nada qué ocultar.

"A nosotros no nos preocupada nada de eso", sostuvo, en entrevista por teléfono. "La Red Fronteriza está registrada ante el IRS, donde declaramos nuestros ingresos y los gastos".

Además, dijo García, la red es un organismo apartidista, cuyos directivos e integrantes trabajan a favor de la comunidad y con el sector inmigrante. "Las acusaciones esconden las verdaderas razones, como la de promover el prejuicio y una actitud anti inmigrante", afirmó.

"Pero la Red no se va a acallar", advirtió.

Afirmó que los miembros de la Red se han manifestado no únicamente contra el Partido Republicano, sino contra el Partido Demócrata cuando creen que esos entes políticos promueven leyes violatorias a la Constitución y atentatorias de los derechos humanos.

"Los republicanos han tratado de imponer su agenda de odio, temor, miedo y racismo en Texas", sostuvo.

On The Lighter Side: (sarcasm not real)

I was told that Lyda Ness-Garcia called Fernando Garcia (no relation) and told him to go on camera and tell everyone that he had learned his lesson and to ask for a report of all of the LNRC's emails that included the letters A, E, I, O, U and sometimes Y. She(Ness-Garcia) also gave him(Fernando Garcia) Maria Garcia's (no relation but I'm starting to see a trend here, aren't you?) phone number and told him(Fernando Garcia) she (Maria Garcia) would make sure she would make this issue go away and make sure that her viewers on KVIA Channel 7 instead would be more interested in looking at the e-mails than worrying about them(BNHR) not paying their fair share of taxes.

Fake or Compromised? Stonewall Democrats of El Paso

The local chapter of the Stonewall Democrats held its first official meeting on Wednesday May 25. They had been struggling to get their chapter off the ground due to bad communication, questionable leadership and lack of people skills. Now most people are probably asking how a Republican, that's me, could be writing about a Democratic club and expect people to believe it is just not another attack piece on the Democratic Party. I asked myself the same question. But then I told myself (don't judge, we all talk to ourselves every once in a while) this isn't about parties, this is about doing what is right. Believe it or not it would probably be better that I didn't write this piece so the charades could continue within this new group and let them run themselves into the dirt. Politically that would be best for me and the Republican Party. But I'm not just going to sit back and watch. I'm going to throw in my two cents.

Here is some of the back story. A couple members of the Democratic Party were trying to revive a chapter of the Stonewall Democrats here in El Paso. From the outside looking in that sound like perfectly normally thing to do. According to the groups website http://www.texasstonewalldemocrats.org/, the group is a general-purpose political committee. Once again, even though they are on the opposite side of where I stand politically and they are completely wrong on issues, they are not doing anything wrong or illegal. Lets take a look at what the group at the state level is all about. Take a look below at what the group is supposed to do.

Maximize Democratic voter turnout in our Community;

Educate our Community and people who are supportive of it about the vast differences that exist between the two major parties on the issues of concern to our Community;

Encourage our Community to participate in the campaigns of Democratic candidates and at all levels of the Democratic Party;

Sensitize Democratic candidates and officeholders to the needs of our Community;

Educate voters about legislative issues that affect our Community; and

Work with local lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Democratic clubs and individuals to encourage and foster the creation of new clubs.

It all looks pretty simple if you ask me. But is that what the local El Paso Chapter is doing? Like I mentioned before, the local chapter had a hard time taking off the ground. Several potential members of the Stonewall Democrats quit the group before it was even officially chartered. Not because they did not agree with the purpose of the group, but because of the leadership, or lack of really. Danny Rollings is the Chairman of the group. For several weeks, he and other board members were advertising themselves as the Stonewall Democrats before even being chartered. Meetings were scheduled. People who were interested showed up and even payed their dues, even though the group had not been chartered. But then things started to fall apart. Meetings were announced put then changed without notifying all the members. Complaints were made and refunds were requested. Danny Rollings played dumb and gave people the run around. He would not refund the money and had his Vice Chair, Jaime Abeytia, tell these people that they (the unofficial Stonewall Democrats) had to hold their first official meeting and take a vote before they could refund any money.

"I looked in to it and you will be getting a refund. We will be voting on it in the next meeting. That's just a formality though. As soon as that gets done, we will refund your money" -Jaime Abeytia

People were asking for their refunds since early April but nothing was being done. Letters were then sent to Daniel Graney, President of Texas Stonewall Democratic Caucus. Take a look at his e-mail response below.

"First, let me state emphatically that Stonewall Democrats of El Paso has not yet been officially recognized as a chapter by the Texas Stonewall Democratic Caucus and is therefore not "under our umbrella". The last time I spoke with Mr. Rollings in late March or early April, he informed me that the group had its first meeting and that they were proceeding to meet the threshold requirements to become a recognized chapter. Those threshold requirements include the following:
(1) Adoption of a set of bylaws to be submitted to the Texas Stonewall Democratic Caucus (TSDC) for approval
(2) Open election of officers including President and Vice President (or Co-Chairs in the alternative), a Secretary and a Treasurer with names of such provided to the TSDC
(3) Minimum of 10 dues-paying members
(4) Remittance of $5 per dues-paying member to the TSDC along with names and contact information for each such member (TSDC dues are $5 from your individual chapter dues and $2.50 per member for Stonewall Young Democrats groups)
(5) Evidence that an Appointment of Campaign Treasurer has been filed with the Texas Ethics Commission (to form a general purpose political committee or PAC).
To date, I have received none of the above from Mr. Rollings or anyone else associated with this group. Unless and until the El Paso group complies with the threshold requirements of being a chapter or affiliate, it cannot continue to use the term "Stonewall Democrats" in its name as that term is a trademark of National Stonewall Democrats.
I will be happy to contact Mr. Rollings to inquire about this matter and to urge him and/or the treasurer to promptly refund your money. Other than that, there is nothing I or the TSDC can do to intervene in this matter. If you do not receive a refund of your money within a reasonable time, I would recommend you take this matter to small claims court or to a local attorney.
I am troubled by what you shared in your e-mail and I do hope this matter gets resolved quickly.

Not really a good start for a new club. But now lets talk about the lack of leadership. Many of you have seen the humorous posts that I have put upon my blog about Danny Rollings and know of his character. He wants to be in charge of every LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transexual) club in El Paso and will do what ever, and I mean WHAT EVER, it takes to get to the top. But is he even eligible to be in charge of the Stonewall Democrats? Relax! I'm not questioning his sexuality, the pictures I posted prove he is more than qualified, even though being gay is not a qualification to be a member of the Stonewall Democrats of Texas. He obviously is over 18, so that's a another qualification met. Id he a Democrat? Well the State of Texas does not require people to register for a party. Even if Rollings was a Republican at one point, he theoretically could have "seen the light" and changed party affiliations. Now a days people switch party affiliation all the time so this could just be another one of those situations. So I guess there is no problem with Danny Rollings being the Chairman of the Stonewall Democrats of El Paso then, right? Well lets not get all giddy yet.

It was brought to Daniel Graney's attention that Danny Rollings had run for office in New Mexico and had actually won the Republican party's nomination for State Representative.

In a report pulled on May 29, 2011 I found that Daniel L Rollings is still an active registered voter in Otero county.

This is not the first time I have posted this information. Plenty of people came to Rollings defense and said that Rollings IS a registered voter in Texas. Lets analyse this. If Rollings IS a registered voter in the state of Texas then he is breaking the law by being registered in two different states. But I don't think that is the case here. After some research, I have found that there is a person by the name of Daniel Rollings registered to vote in Texas. What?! Yeah, unfortunately it is a Daniel J. Rollings with a date of birth of July 9, 1959. The Daniel Rollings in question is about 20 years younger, or he takes care of his skin very well using plenty of moisturizers and anti-wrinkle creams that make him look a whole lot younger.

With this new information we now know that Daniel J. Rollings, the 51 year old from Fort Bed County, is qualified to be the Chairman of the Stonewall Democrats in El Paso. We can't say the same about Daniel Lynn Rollings who lives in El Paso. Sorry to rain on your parade Danny.

Now lets talk about the timing behind the group. The race for City Council District 1 is heading for a run off. Lyda "What A Mess" Ness-Garcia is doing everything she can to get the upper hand, even though she owes the IRS about $200,000 and allegedly has judgments against her for not paying court reporters, and win this election. Danny Rollings is her henchman in her campaign and figures he can round up support for "The Mess" using this club. Let's not forget that Jaime Abeytia is the Vice Chair of this club and a known mouth piece for her as well. Even though Abeytia claims that this club was not started just to help "The Mess", the timing brings up many suspicions. "The Mess" was a speaker at the clubs first official meeting. You make of it what you will.

At the end of the day I think that the Stonewall Democrats is a legitimate club with illegitimate leadership. I think the LGBT community should throw Danny Rollings on his fanny for not being qualified and for just being a jerk and get some one who truly has the LGBT's best interest in mind and not someone who is pushing their own agenda. This infighting at such an early stage will only get worse and tear the club apart forcing it to disappear once again as soon as the election is over. But like I said before, that really wouldn't hurt me one bit. But it would hurt those who are looking to be apart of something that better represents them and their concerns. Danny Rollings' attitude and elitist ways will not allow him to accomplish the goals set by the Stonewall Democrats of Texas. How is he supposed to maximize Democratic voter turn out when he is not very supportive, encouraging, sensitive to members' concerns and can't work very well with others. But like I said before, leave him in office and it will make my job easier.

But I'm pretty sure KVIA and Maria Garcia would find a way to turn this around and blame her opponent for something like using the word "the"in an e-mail and blow it way out of proportion in efforts to steer away the attention from the fact that Lyda Ness-Garcia has tax liens against her, an ethics violation and several examples of impropriety. But once again..........KVIA looks the other way and is willing to publicly support a candidate with this many skeletons in her closet. What a shame. What has our local media turned into?

BNHR Needs A New GPS And Jaime Abeytia Is Getting Rusty

Jaime Abeytia, the Bret Favre of El Paso blogging, is back and up to his old tricks just after an 11 day retirement. The odds in Vegas said he would be back in two weeks so those who went against the odds and put money on 11 they are really happy just about now.

Jaime Abeytia posted a press release by the misguided Border Network For (Certain) Human Rights today that stated that they would be holding a "vigil" today May 24th. I saw no observance of any kind. This was an out right demonstration that was trying to influence legislation. Maybe they called it a vigil because of where they were holding it.

"El Paso, TX-The Border Network for Human Rights, a human rights organization based in El Paso, is organizing a vigil TODAY Tuesday May 24 at 4:00 P.M. outside the headquarters of the Republican Party in El Paso (6006 N. Mesa) in opposition to proposal HB12"

The funny thing is that the El Paso Republican Party moved from that location in July of 2010. This is not the first time they demonstrate at this "headquarters" either. BNHR demonstrated at the same "headquarters" on May 5, 2011. Let me put it in terms that Jaime and the members of BNHR can better understand it. It took place on Cinco De Mayo. Poor people were out in the hot sun, while their leader was in a nice air conditioned office in Austin, protesting at what they were told was the Republican Party Headquarters. Que culpa tienen ellos que sus lideres esten tan........ mensos? Why should they have to suffer because their leaders are so dumb?

Jaime knows better. He has been to the new Republican Party Headquarters on a couple occasions pretending to be a "journalist" hassling candidates with 45 minute interviews trying to get them to say something he can later use against them in one of his blogs.

It was interesting having to answer sooo many of his questions that really had no substance. But at the end I knew he just wanted me to slip up. Back to Jaime. This slip up is just as bad as when he posted an unsigned court document directly from the office of Lyda Ness-Garcia to try to prove her point. Yes her point. Come on Jaime. How can you be rusty after only 11 days of not blogging. Don't directly or indirectly contact any member of the legislature or try to influence any legislation. Just pretend you are a 501(c)(3) like BNHR pretends to be and educate these people on where the Republican party Headquarters has been for almost a year now. By the way, the offices you guys protested in front of where those of a Texas State Representative. A member of the Texas legislature.

You better start getting your legal team together because this was yet another violation of the IRS tax code. Don't get me wrong. I encourage people to be involved in the political process and to participate in political dialogue. But I will give BNHR the same advice I give Lyda Ness-Garcia. To be able to play you need to pay your fair share of taxes just like the rest of us!

OK for those who are completely lost. Border Network For (Certain) Human Rights is a 501(c)(3). Now go run and look it up in the IRS website. Their "vigil" was directly or indirectly trying to communicate with a member of legislation in efforts to influence a piece of legislation. A big no-no for a 501(c)(3). Go check for yourselves.

Party Animal To City Representative.....She Just Can't Get Enough

For those who live under a rock and just happen to stumble on to this blog I will enlighten you with some of the back story before I get too ahead of myself.

Lyda Ness-Garcia is a candidate for El Paso City Council District 1. She is a lawyer and a business women who seems to have a problem with the IRS and owes over $190,000 in back taxes. Some reports say she owes up to $207,000, but whose really counting? She sure isn't.

The local media has mentioned her "alleged" problems with the IRS but has not called her out on it. I guess tax liens still classify her problems as allegations only. Instead she has a reporter by the name of Maria Garcia who finds any way she can to divert the attention of this very serious issue away from her and instead to some questionable acts by her opponent. I agree with the reporter putting her opponent on the spot for her "alleged" actions but I don't think it's fair that she gives Ness-Garcia a pass on her up to $207,000 of back taxes. How can this women represent her district and have a say in the city's budget when she can't even mange her own business? Maybe these pictures might shed some light on why she can't keep up with
her taxes.

Lyda Ness-Garcia is still fairly young. She is about 40 years old and has pretty much lived a privileged life. Her mother, who is a doctor who for BP in Houston, (yes British Petroleum, as in the people who spilled all that oil in the gulf. So much for being such a conservationist) has given Lyda everything she has ever wanted growing up but never lessons in how to treat people. Many people can attest to that. I think her mother should have put an end to that once she graduated college and started her own business. But who am I to tell anyone how to raise their 40 year old child?This 40 something year old is still a momma's girl who loves to go out and have fun but she doesn't let motherhood get in the way. Her fun and friends come first.

These pictures clearly show that Lyda Ness-Garcia is still trying to find herself. She has two kids, from two different fathers and is single. She hasn't found the right one so she is out having fun finding that person. She is hanging out with friends letting it all hang out, Mardi Gras is always fun with her friends, just doing what 40 years olds do. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Is there? Oh wait, she is 40 not 21.You would think that a City Representative candidate would already know where she was in her life and would think that a City Representative candidate would be focused on serving her constituents and not worried about who was going to be serving her next drink.

Is this the kind of person we want on City Council? Will she be able
to put the bottle down and concentrate on her job if elected? Will the people in these pictures be a part of her staff? Will she be able to pay off her back taxes and "learn her lesson" before she takes the oath of office? Will she be willing to write a check for $207,000 dollars to be elected for a position that pays nowhere near that? Who knows? She is the lady, I use that loosely considering she is drinking straight from the bottle, who has Danny Rollings doing her dirty work. We'll just have to wait and see to find out what Lyda Ness-Garcia is willing to do to pull this rabbit out of the hat.

Bill Ellis and Danny Rollings/Steel Want To Rule The World (more humor)

Bill Ellis and Danny Rollings have made a name for themselves within the LGBT community. They have found a way to put themselves in leadership positions in several gay organizations and always find a way to get in front of every camera. I am not calling them camera whores but they sure do find a way to get there picture taken very often and by everybody.

Bill and Danny are supposed to be leaders in the LGBT community and are supposed to set the example of tolerance and understanding. They are supposed to get like minded people involved and encourage them to participate in group activities. Recruiting and inclusion are the secret to the success to not just this group but any group. But for some reason Ellis and Rollings can't understand that an allow their personal agendas to push people away. Here are two examples of how they treat members:

But in any event, I am requesting you avoid any and all contact with me, in any form or forum, in the future. Unfortunately, I will be required to tolerate your presence at church on Sundays, but I hope to limit it to that.

Not exactly practicing tolerance if you ask me.

A perfect example of Danny's controlling ways. He doesn't deal well with people who go against his beliefs. Signing off an e-mail with "Sincerely and Respectfully" after using those words is pathetic. I don't see how he thinks ending an e-mail in that matter will change the hate and disrespect that was in the body of the e-mail.

Danny Rollings Imitates Lyda Ness-Garcia

All my posts this week have been kind of aggressive and full of accusations. But I have to admit they have been very popular. Who says controversy doesn't sell? But let's put some of that anger aside for a little bit and lets have a good laugh. Today I have decided to post something a little more light hearted. This was just Danny's attempt to see what it felt like to be a women in power. His $9.80/hr job for the Sheriff's Department is just not cutting it for him. City Council Candidate Gives Community Service Hours to "Volunteers"

If the allegations of owing the IRS over $190,000 in back taxes was not enough. Reports are coming in that the Lyda Ness-Garcia Campaign was giving people who were under supervision by the West Texas Adult Supervision Department, OK stop with the big words, people who were on probation, community service hours for helping her campaign. How is this possible you ask? It comes back to Danny Rollings/Steele. Danny is the Treasurer for Rio Grande Adelante. The group has a website that informs its followers that they have a Community Service Restitution Program.

"Rio Grande Adelante is pleased to announce our newest collaboration as an agency with the West Texas Community Supervision and Corrections Department. As a registered agency with the WTCS&CD, individuals may sign-up to do their court mandated community service hours working on Rio Grande Adelante community projects. Some of those projects may include: "Adopt-A-Highway" clean-up, program workshops, event prepartion, and community involvement."

According to the website only three people have participated in those community involvement programs. The rest who received hours through Rio Grande Adelante, according to a reliable source, have received hours for walking and campaigning for Lyda-Ness-Garcia. Is this the same Lyda-Ness-Garcia who was able to convince news stations to bombard her opponent, Ann Morgan Lilly, on a nightly basis with allegations of using city equipment for campaign purposes? Yup, its the same one. This lady has the nerve to go on television and accuse Ann Morgan-Lilly of using city equipment to campaign while she is using people from the West Texas Community Supervision and Corrections Department to do her campaign work. Let's see if the news stations cover this story. Let's see how quickly Danny and Lyda run to cover their tracks.

Sheriff's Department Employee Woes; Ties With City Council Candidate

The El Paso Sheriff's Department has gone through quiet a change since 2008. Richard Wiles was elected in 2008 bringing along with him several members of the El Paso Police Department to serve on his Command Staff to include Bill Ellis. Ellis is Wiles' Executive Administrative Officer according to the Sheriff's website. But we all know Ellis is just Wiles' personal on staff lawyer. Ellis' position was questioned by many during the County's budget issues because Ellis' position was not mandated. Smooth talking Richard Wiles justified Ellis' position by simply stating "Well, Sheriff Samaniego had one" and people just moved on. Typical El Paso. It's kind of like when the news reports Lyda Ness-Garcia's $190,000 back taxes problem. She just simply states "I have learned my lesson", not "I have paid the full amount" and El Paso and the media give her a pass and just move on.

Richard Wiles has worked hard in the last two years as Sheriff. Oh no, not to keep us safe. He has worked very hard to keep any controversy under wraps and has worked very hard to do what he can not to enforce laws like the people of El Paso had elected him to do. But you guys know me. I'm the last person to give him a pass on anything. So here we go.

Back in October of 2009 David Herrera, a Sheriff's Department Clerk and Bill Ellis' personal assistant, was arrested for prostitution. He offered to perform oral sex on an under cover police officer for a whopping $15. Herrera also had outstanding warrants and had marijuana in his possession. Click here for the full story.

You would think the El Paso Sheriff's Department and Bill Ellis would learn their lesson and take precautions on who they hired next. Right? Well they didn't. Bill Ellis likes a certain type of employee and he is very consistent with who he hires. December 14, 2009, just a month after Herrara was fired from his personal assistant position, the El Paso Sheriff's Department hires Daniel Lynn Rollings and pays him $9.80 an hour to pretty much be Ellis' personal assistant that included pushing his wheel chair around. I don't think that is a mandated position either. So what is the big deal you ask? Well, Daniel Lynn Rollings has a little bit of a past. According to a story in the Las Cruces Sun News Daniel Lynn Rollings was caught in a gay porn controversy with Gadsden School District Board of Trustees back in 2004.

What?! No way! Yes Way!

"The Gadsden Independent School District approved a resolution that censures board member Daniel Rollings after pornography was found on a district laptop that was issued to Rollings. The pornography was discovered on the laptop files after it was turned in to be up graded."
"The censure was approved in a 3-to-2 vote at a board meeting Thursday. The resolution censured, or reprimanded, Rollings, as well as requested that Rollings resign from his position. Rollings rejected the request. The        resolution also requested that a     filter be placed on district technology to    prevent access to inappropriate sites."
So lets break it down. First you have a clerk who offered to perform oral sex on an a     male undercover officer then you hire someone who was removed form their position on a School Board for being involved in a gay pornography scandal. WoW! Who are you  going to hire next? A convicted priest? This has to stop. The residents of El Paso have  to stand up and put an end to it. But here is the best part. "Rollings, who voted against    the censure, said he disagreed with the vote and felt it  was political "blackballing". Those are some interesting words to use considering   the situation.

But it doesn't stop at the Sheriff's Department. Rollings/Steele is one of the henchman   for the Lyda Ness-Garcia Campaign. He uses county equipment and time to look up     people who publicly  speak out against him or Lyda Ness-Garcia. You know, the kind of stuff that KVIA aired several "Public Service Announcements" for Lyda-Ness-Garcia     accusing her opponent Ann Morgan Lilly of doing. I guess it  is one of those do as I say  and not as I do kind of things. Is this the type of        person we want on city council? Come  on El Paso. Look at the facts and put an  end to the insanity.

A Break Down Of The City Elections And Analysis on Run-Offs

The city elections have come and gone in El Paso, Texas. They were a little bit on the dull side if you ask me. Except for one race.There was not really much competition in two of the four races where the winners easily won with over 50% of the vote avoiding a run off even though there was several candidates on the ballot. I'll start my analysis on the races from the bottom up. It will be more interesting that way.

District 8:

Courtney "Can't Do No Wrong" Niland easily won with over 54% with here nearest competitor, Ernesto Villanueva, only getting just under 14%. Not too bad for Villanueva considering the controversial photos of his birthday party that were released. i'm wondering what he has planned for next years party. The surprise in that race was Jorge Artalejo. His shorts and tennis shoes approach actually got him 67 votes. Congratulations Jorge. Throw in a pair of pants, not even slacks just jeans maybe, and a half descent shirt and you might break 100 next time.

District 6:

Eddie "Can't Find A Camera That Don't Like Him" Holguin easily beat out his two opponents by getting over 64% of the vote. Zulema Lazarin and Gerardo Rosiles were easily out worked, out signed and out talked by Holguin. I had said it before and I will say it again. Lazarin and Rosiles had to take the position away from Holguin and not expect him to loose it. In other words they had to go out and win it and not expect Holguin to loose it. Rosiles and Lazarin were depending on the anti-Holguin vote. Well they split that vote between them but even if they put it together it wouldn't have been enough. They did not have enough signage, Holguin had a yard sign at every corner and on almost every other house on main streets. Lazarin did not attend enough forums and when she did she was not very well spoken, on the other hand Rosiles attended to many forums and allowed his choppy English to become an issue. Not only do you have to understand your constituents, they have to be able to understand you. Just three words for Holguin. Class, class, class. Don't allow people around you to ruin your win. The high road is always the best path to take, even though it is the road least traveled in this town. Don't let those around you make you think otherwise.

District 5:

Dr. "It's pronounced Mike" Noe will be facing Mayela "Pobresita" Mejia in a run off like most people expected. Noe received 41% of the vote while Mejia received just over 31%. This will be an interesting run off. Noe is very well spoken, has plenty of business experience, has delivered at least one child in every household and seems to want o hold the line on taxes, but a big but, has Dora Oaxaca running his campaign. You know, Doara Oaxaca also known as Willie Gandara Jr's Chief of Staff who was recently named to the UMC hospital board that caused the El Paso delegation in Austin to pass a bill restricting the nomination of board members. With all the stuff that is going on with the Gandaras I would distance my self from them as soon as possible. On the other hand you have Mejia who has no business experience, sounds like she will say yes to just about anything, but who has some experience at city council and who has the almighty Kenny Sutherland running her campaign. I'm going out on a limb here and saying that the campaign manager will make a big difference here. If it was just candidate versus candidate I would say yes to Noe. But since he has handicapped himself by having someone who has ties to corruption I say he better walk like there is no tomorrow and knock on as many doors while leaving Dora behind. It is just hard for me to understand how a guy who wants to fight corruption can associate himself with Oaxaca and the Gandaras. Why would a County Commissioner want to help out a City Representative. I like Dr. Noe but something smells fishy here.

The surprise in this race. Phillip Garcia, who dropped out early in the race actually received 68 votes, one more than Artalejo, without even being at any forums. I feel bad for Jorge Artalejo. The guy gets around on the bus. I would have saved my bus tokens on this election if I was him. Poor guy.

District 1:

This is a long one. I'll start with the ones who didn't get into the run-off first. Tim Besco received a humiliating 8% of the vote. He was relying on getting all those who voted for him in the Congressional race in that district to turn around and vote for him in this election. Unfortunately two major factors were not taken into consideration. One, reyes was not on the ballot to pull the anti vote and two, the infamous good-bye letter to the Republican party. Oscar, his campaign manager again, did not take those two things into consideration when he promissed Besco he would get him elected....again. Tim, please stop paying Oscar so much money. I really mean it. He is taking your money and just ruining your name. Cut your loses, take some time off, focus on your career but most importantly cut Oscar off.

Abe Peinado who received just 5% of the vote, was seriously a viable candidate in the beginning and one day might be elected to an office but this go around he had too many distractions. Richard Shecter 5% and Theresa A Ware Ashburn 8%, well they were just along for the ride. Manny Hinojosa grew up some and matured during this race but it wasn't enough as he only was able to get over 12% of the vote

Now for the juicy stuff. The only race to cause excitement and controversy. The cat fight that has everyone on the edge of their seats and all the news channels being the paid spokespeople for one candidate........Ann "The Sleeper" Morgan Lilly will face off against Lyda "What A Mess" Ness-Garcia in a run off that is expected nothing less than a straight out cat fight with nails flying in the air, eyes being scratched out and all sorts of name calling. Morgan-Lilly received just over 38% of the vote while Ness-Garcia received just over 21% of the vote. This was a packed race with 7 candidates on the ballot. Now that five have been eliminated will the race be this close? What percent of those who voted for the unsuccessful candidates back Morgan-Lilly who just received a major wake up call in this election? How many will turn around and support a candidate who owes the IRS about $200, 000 in back taxes and who has a couple of henchmen on her team doing her dirty work. Danny Rollings/Steele who works at the Sheriff's Department who uses county time and county equipment to research anyone who publicly goes against Lyda-Ness-Garcia and post their private information on line and Jaime "Its My Way Or The High Way" Abeytia who has somehow found a way alienate, no pun intended, Democrats and members of the gay community for not supporting Ness-Garcia. Jaime has pretty much told people that they are not real Democrats or gay enough if they don't vote for Ness-Garcia. It's the same thing when he says I'm not a real Mexican because I am a Republican. Come on someone tell Jaime he has to stop that because he doesn't listen to me. People can think, do and act the way they want without having to conform to any restrictions because of their race, ethnic background, income level or sexual orientation. I have a bit of advice for Jaime. Tolerance is a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward opinions and practices that differ from one's own. I suggest you start practicing what you claim to be preaching.

Socorro Will Decide Gandara's Fate Today

Willie Gandara Sr, the Mayor of city of Socorro, Texas will know his fate today as the people of Socorro will vote in a recall election today. Gandara has been criticized for being indicted in the FBI public corruption case. According to reports Gandara was indicted along with ten others for conspiring and using bribes to assure Acces Health Source would land a contract with school districts and the county. They face various counts of racketeering, conspiracy, mail fraud and wire fraud.

The people of Socorro have voiced their concerns about their Mayor and along with members of the Council had asked him to step down. Gandara refused to step down but ultimately welcomed the recall election and said that the people should decide. Gandara seemed to be confidant that those who actually voted would out number those who complained about him. He better be right because there are a whole bunch of people who have been complaining about him.

In an interview with News Channel 9 Gandara tried to make a point but I think it back fired. He told the reporter:

"I've been here all my life, practically, you know I'm sixty years old, take 37 years from that,"

What is that supposed to mean? Where the tears supposed to make the people of Socorro forget all they have been put through? All that tells the people of Socorro is that he is a sixty year old man who has being doing the same thing for a very long time and right now he is facing corruption charges. Has he been doing that for a long time? Socorro is a small tight nit community where every one knows everyone. So if Gandara has been their for such a long time then he probably knew Luis Varela for a long time. You remember Varela. He is the Council man that was arrested in a drug sting back in November and resigned from the Council. The same Varela who has since pleaded guilty to drug charges. This election will also fill the seat that was vacated by his resignation.

I'll take it a step further. A conspiracy theory if you will according to my friend and former blogger Jaime Abeytia.(We'll see how long that
lasts, I meant the blogger part) The Gandara family has been involved in the political arena for a few years now. But their service hasn't exactly been without controversy. As we know Willie Gandara Sr. is facing federal corruption charges stemming from when he was a school board member. Two Gandara's were also in a small election controversy when Gandara Sr. could have potentially faced one of his many nephews, Anthony Gandara, in the election. Gandara Sr made sure the younger Gandara was not even on the ballot by pointing out clerical errors in Anthony's application.

Recently Jesse "You Tube" Gandara Jr was involved in a police abuse scandal with the El Paso Sheriff's department. Gandara is known for the hidden camera You Tube videos he posted of the circus acts that occurred in the Socorro City Council meetings that consisted of Council members playing tricks on former Socorro Mayor Trini Lopez. You remember, the whole lap top incident. Where did it go Trini? Where did it go?

Then you have Willie Gandara Jr. He recently named his chief of staff Dora Oaxaca to the UMC hospital board that caused the El Paso delagation in Austin to pass a bill that would restrict those who were elected to the board.

Willie Gandara Jr was also on the news a few months ago when his company Socorro Iron and Metals landed a contract to remove all the scrap metal from the destruction of the old FARAH building. Gandara Jr. held off on voting to approve the project but somehow his company was there to benefit from the vote once he voted to approve the project. Their website has an interesting quote. "We stratigically positioned ourselves and ensured this in order to work with the largest global corporations by fulfilling our client's demands and expectations." I guess sitting on Commissioner's Court is good strategic positioning.

But lets not forget the taking of the Lettunich Family Farm land. County Commissioners took the land from the Lettunich Family and gifted it to the federal government so they could build the largest port of entry in El Paso County. The Lettunich Family claims that they were not paid a fair market value for their land and people in the are claim that such a big port of entry is not needed in that area and big trucks will cause traffic problems in such a rural area. For some reason it has been said that Willie Gandara Jr has been purchasing a lot of land surrounding that area. I wonder why? Maybe because he knew, insider information, that the value of the property would go up when the port of entry would be completed.

To make this long story short. The Gandara family has been in the Lower Valley for a long time. They are very well known by everyone. You can just talk to just about anyone in Socorro and you will find someone who either went to school with one of the many Gandara nephews or have done business with Gandara Recycling or Socorro Iron & Metals. They will all give you one of those "off the record" stories. For many years the people of Socorro have been muttering that the Gandara's two businesses are a front for something bigger. I really can't say for sure what it is but I'm pretty confident that the FBI will tell us what the Gandara family is really up to. The Gandaras are not doing themselves any favors by bringing so much attention to themselves. Don't be surprised to see the Gandara empire go down in shambles.

My Prediction:

Not really a far stretch, but I think the people of Socorro will choose to get rid of Mayor Willie Gandara Sr and name a new City Councilman but not without controversy. I see voter fraud accusations, a new You Tube Video, more tears by Willie Gandara Sr, Willie Gandara Jr coming to daddy's rescue as wads of dirty money fall out of his pockets. The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree. So in other words, it will be another typical day in Soco-Loco.

KVIA Reporter Rolling In Bed With Lyda-Ness-Garcia?....Figuratively Speaking

Maria Garcia of KVIA Channel 7, an ABC affiliate in El Paso Texas, has been relentless in her efforts to divert the attention away from Lyda-Ness-Garcia's tax problems and is instead trying to convince KVIA's viewers that Ann Morgan-Lilly is guilty of using tax payer time and city equipment to campaign. Ness-Garcia requested an open records request that netted over 9,000 emails that Jaime Abeytia was so fortunate to be able to have access to and posted them on his blog very shortly after Ness-Garcia received them and went through them. I wouldn't be surprised if he helped her go through them.

But back to the Maria Garcia thing. I understand that reporters need to "try", I use that word very loosely with the El Paso media, to get both sides of the story. But Maria Garcia's stories have been one sided attacks on Ann Morgan-Lilly. Now I don't condone the actions of any elected official, city or county employee using equipment and time (Danny Rawlings/Steele) payed for by the tax payers for their own personal gains. But I also don't condone the fact that a person owe thousands of dollars to the IRS. KVIA has not given Ness-Garcia's allegations no where near the coverage they have given Lilly's allegations. Both are wrong if true. Why is that? From the outside looking in it looks like Maria Garcia is just a mouth piece for the mess Lyda calls a campaign.

But here is the best part. Ness-Garcia goes on camera and makes a comment about Lilly and tax payer money.

"I'm dismayed that our city representative is in fact displaying the kind of arrogance that we've seen with other public corruption issues here in El Paso, but at least the tax-payers will know exactly what she's up to with on our tax payer money and on our tax payer dime,"

Now you guys have probably already heard or read about "Some Dude" who contacted me and our little conversation. According to "Some Dude" Lyda-Ness-Garcia is the last person who should be complaining about anyone doing anything on tax payer money or time. Back in 2008 Ness-Garcia was sent on a trip to Europe to deliver a child to her father in a custody case. The county paid for her trip. All she had to do was deliver the child to the father and come back. Well, little Miss Goody Two Shoes decided she would take a few weeks to travel and spend time with her grandmother in Greece while she leaves fellow attorney clueless on what to do on the clients she left behind. She went to go see the grandmother who they say lives off of social security. The same grandmother who lives in Greece thanks to a huge lump of money she came up on. I can't see how the family can play the "poor little old lady on social security" card when she is very well off. And how can they scam the government for these benefits? I'm pretty sure its not much money but why is she getting it if she has a lot of money. According to "Some Dude" of course.There are people who really need those benefits but don't get them because these kind of people who defraud the system. But then again the vehicle registration fees for the state of Texas are not that much yet Ness-Garcia and her mother, who lives in Houston Texas, would rather pay less fees by keeping their Michigan license plates. Do you guys see a trend here? Lyda-Ness-Garcia owes the IRS money, she doesn't pay for her vehicles registration, she helps her wealthy grandmother collect assistance from the government and pretty much walks around like people owe her something. Is this the type of person we want on city council? She was the only child for 16 years so she walks around with her spoiled brat attitude, talking down to people, walking all over them, not caring what people think about her, until it's election season of course. So now she is trying to clean up her image. But its a little too late. Her true colors have come out. Even the gay community who she helped out with the domestic partners benefits issue is not backing her. OK, Jaime Abeytia, Danny Rawlings, Bill Ellis and Richard Wiles might be. But other than a hand full of people the gay community has distanced themselves from her.

According to "Some Dude" her claim to fame was a fluke. Kirsten Perez, who Lyda-Ness-Garcia lived with, was supposed to make the big speech in front of city council on behalf of the domestic partner benefits. For some reason Perez couldn't do it so Lyda-Ness-Garcia jumped on the mike. That launched her into the spot light and into a lawsuit. Maybe she thought that by taking this route she could get enough media attention and win an election. Well not everyone thought the same. Kirsten Perez has since jumped ship and has gone to work for the Courtney Liland campaign. I guess Perez felt the SS Ness-Garcia was going down slow and jumped to a more secure deck where she could actually find a job after this Saturday.

"Some Dude" Spills The Beans

This was another post that I had originally posted as a note on Facebook while Blogger was down. I have already been contacted by several people who have been victims of Daniel Rollings/Steele.

"According to "Some Dude" Daniel Rollings or Steele, what ever name he is going by this week, has made it a point to come after me. Daniel is employed with the El Paso Sheriff's Department. As you all know I am very well liked by that department. He is also the hechman for the Lyda-Ness-Garcia Campaign who has gone after everyone to include people from the gay community for not supporting Lyda-Ness-Garcia. I was told that Daniel's anger stems from a picture and a blog that I posted about Lyda and her camapign.

"Some Dude" tells me that Daniel has an interesting way of moving up the latter. Daniel has been known to sleep around to get what he wants. Those are just rumors of course. But it is interesting that his employment at the Sheriff's department is also fairly recent. I wonder if Richard Wiles or Bill Ellis had anything to do with him getting his job. I just think that sleeping your way to the top is so deamining and unfair really for the rest of us. I have never worked for a women so sleeping my way to the top is absolutely not an option for me. But I guess some people would do what ever and who ever to get their way. Once again this info was passed on by "Some Dude" who is very close to the Lyda-Ness-Garcia campaign and was present when Daniel decided to announce his revenge on me for posting the truth. i guess this is just another chapter in my struggle with Richard Wiles and the El Paso Sheriff's Department.

So instead of waiting for the attacks I decided to beat him to the punch and make it public. Daniel is one of those people who I always complain about that use county equipment on county time, you know the same thing Lyda accused Ann-Morgan-Lylly of doing, to pull up information on people so he could post online. He did that on one of my blog post. He pulled the records of a person who had made a comment on my blog and posted it to minimize the effects of that persons comments. The good thing is that now I have a name and I can pursue legal action. Thanks Danny, I thank you and your other victims thank you. You have made it much easier to go after you and your job now. You can kiss Bill Ellis.....goodbye now.

"Some Dude" Sends Me An E-Mail........The Lyda Ness Mess

What A Mess-Garcia

So I get this anonymous email from "some dude" yesterday. It was full of information about the mess people call the Lyda-Ness-Garcia Campaign. Reading this e-mail only reinforces my last statement. It was a response to a post on my blog dated May 8th. I didn't want to just post it without vetting the information so I responded to the e-mail asking "some dude" to call me so I could verify the information. I told "some dude" that they could call me from a blocked number if they wanted and I wouldn't ask them to reveal their true identity but I needed to know a little bit more from the e-mail before I posted it. So "some dude" calls me. We had about a 30-45 minute convrsation. "Some dude" had tons of information about Lyda-Ness-Garcia. "Some Dude" was obviously someone very close to Lyda-Ness-Garcia and her family to know such imtimidate details. So here is the raw e-mail I received in its entirety.

"Having read your comment to a post regarding the car plates (in the
blog posted may 8 regarding district 1) I beg to differ. While it
may not seem as bad as the tens of thousands owed to the
government, it shows that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
The reason they are michigan plates is because Dr. Maria Bradshaw,
who you may have "met" in her appearance on the David K blog when
she sat down and typed rebuttal after rebuttal (and in the EP Times
under the guise "hope for el paso") lives in Houston, Tx and has for
close to two almost three years now because she was transferred
there by her employers, BP. Yes, BP, the same folks who spilled a
few drops of oil in our precious gulf coast (such an
environmentalist). she used to live in Michigan as did her son (the
one they refer to as Ness's husband, who is in fact her half-
brother Andrew. Unless, they are referring to her campaign manager,
or Danny Steele her henchman who requested all the open records act
and writes on all the blogs posing as a conservative republican
businessman to discredit Hinojosa and Besco, or her now ex
girlfriend kirsten perez who can sometimes look like a man, but we
all know Perez, who was once her treasurer is now the Cortney
Niland darling looking for a job after the election)All the
Bradshaws no longer reside in Michigan, nor have for more than a
year. Baby Andrew flies all over the world on Mommy's dime and
Daddy's free vouchers (dad is ex American Airlines employee, more
on this later)with a recent stint in Brazil.

point being, Mommy Bradshaw traded the cadillac suv for the mini
cooper over a year with the birth of Ness's Greek baby (more on
that later). Whether it's in El Paso, or Houston, it's NOT in
Michigan! They all have the entitled and privileged attitude that
they don't need to pay anyone anything, but oh so quick to threaten
to sue if you cross them or don't do as they tell you.

Ness disappears from her attorney duties for weeks when she travels
to Greece where she mooches off her poor sick grandmother's money
in Athens. Her facebook albums boast close to 300 pictures from her
extended stay there just last year. not to mention the trips she
takes to the Bahamas with her best friend and fellow family law
attorney Laura Stratman. and how does she do this with all the
money she supposedly doesn't make? she flies free on her step
father's vouchers (first class) or on BP through her mother's
vouchers (first class). she doesn't mind them messing up the gulf
waters as long as she gets to fly free.

If anyone were to ask her to produce a payroll stub for herself,
I'd bet she doesn't have any. She pays herself cash so that it
can't be traced."

Lawmakers Pass Bill That Allows Law Enforcement Agents To Enforce Laws

The Texas House of Representatives has just done something new and innovative. They have thought outside of the box and passed a bill that would actually not only allow but expect law enforcement agents to actually enforce laws. Can you believe that? The bill would allow law enforcement agents to question the legal status of people they detain. This isn't anything new really. Anyone who has unfortunately seen the inside of the El Paso
County jail knows that they ask those questions as soon as you walk in so all this hoopla is nothing but a smoke screen. Cities who would not enforce this law would loose funding. Can you believe that, cities that don't do what they are supposed to might actually be held accountable for it? This is all so new that I don't know how to handle it. (sarcasm)

The bill calls for the elimination of sanctuary cities throughout the state of Texas. These are cities like El Paso where bleeding heart liberal elected officials and heads of law enforcement agents like the El Paso Sheriff Richard Wiles worry more about keeping people in the shadows by looking the other way when they are here illegally and about the rights that they don't have than worrying about the rights and safety of its citizens and legal residents. This is just a way an Anglo male can win over the vote of a county with an over 80% Hispanic population.

Richard Wiles has said that laws like this would damage the fragile relationship between the people of El Paso and law enforcement agencies. No Wiles! What damages relationships with law enforcement agencies is having law enforcement agents abuse their power on residents or commit crimes and have their face plastered on the 10 o'clock news. You know what I'm talking about. Every single one of the police officers that have been plastered on television used to work for you and have disciplinary actions against them dating back to when you were their boss. Yet you did nothing. Your "Disciplinary Matrix", a supposed disciplinary action chart, was nothing but a front to make people think that you actually disciplined officers. It was a piece of paper that made you look good for election season put did nothing for the people of El Paso and the proof is in the pudding.

If we really want to protect the fragile relationship between law enforcement agencies and the people of El Paso, then we need to make the people of El Paso feel assured that the law enforcement agencies are actually going to keep them safe. I said all and not just the ones who might be here illegally. That is the problem with the Democrat agenda. They only address the concerns of one group, people who are here illegally. It is law enforcements job to protect all of us and not just their special interest groups. I always ask myself. How can people like Sheriff Richard Wiles ignore the citizens and legal residents of El Paso and focus on protecting a group of people who might be here illegally.

Get off your rear end Wiles. The people of El Paso want you to enforce laws. Law makers in Austin are telling you what you need to be doing so do it. El Paso elected you to enforce laws so earn your pay check. If you can't comply with your job description then we can find someone else who can. If you want to say what laws should or should not be enforced you should go to law school, become a lawyer and then run for judge. Until then, DO YOUR DARN JOB!!!!
