Google Adsense A/c being terminated

I am feeling bit down now..I just received an email from Google Company that my google adsense a/c is being disabled due to invalid activity.

This is partly my own fault. I have forgotten the policy of Google Adsense that we, bloggers are not allowed to encourage people to click on the ads using words like
"pls click on the ad to support" or asking people to click for a cause..

This month is the critical month which I am suppose to receive my payment (about AUD 230).*sigh*.... They evaluated my a/c and suspect these invalid activities..

It is demotivating..6 months of effort, and it happened when my blog starts to get bit more acitve..Well, I will continue to write like usual. I have filled in an appeal form, hopefully that they will reintsall my a/c. *finger cross*

So, people, be smart and check through the policies again if you are monetizing your blog. Don't repeat my mistake. This is a good lesson for me.

*I thought i can have a good meal to celebrate after receiving my first payment*

My big group of friends and I have been working days and nights in preparation for this big event..Look at the curreny progression of our prop team.

Just like the lion dance, this elephant head is to be fit into someone's head and acted as the elephant.

My friend made a very mean comment on this

This tree was meant to be 2m tall, it is now close to that 190cm i guess.

Emirates experience : Awesome

I always heard of Emirates from my brother but never find out what kind of flight company it is till I was given the opportunity to fly to Auckland with Emirates. It was an awesome experience.

I never understand why people are willing to pay extra for business class. I always wondered how good can the service be , how comfortable and how spacious can the seat be that it costs passangers a fortune. My brother used his Skywards points and upgraded me to Business class. That was my first time travelling in business class.

I felt like a village girl venturing into a big city.

the Emirate lounge,

a waiting area for first class business class and Skywards Gold class passengers. It looked like a luxurious hotel lounge, with free internet access and refreshments. They provided good food, really good food. Small portions with quality.

I couldn't help it but I heard myself kept saying

"wow"

I never enjoyed aeroplane food, just like how I dislike microwaved food. Personally, airplane food is normally something not delicious, super hot and served on plastic containers. This trip was a total different story..

I sat on A340 from Brisbane to Auckland..These were the food served(YUMMY!!!)..I even had hot thick chocolate drink. The food was served with great presentation,started from appetizer, then main course and desserts. They had a good list of wine also. By the way, the food shown above was breakfast.

My "wow" became louder when I stepped into A380, flying back to Sydney from Auckland. A380 is a double deck aircraft. They provide a mini bar with couple of drinks besides your seat. I was lucky that I sat at the corner. I had so much privacy that I won't mind sleeping with my back facing up like no body's business. They had a special compartment for shoes, extra storage at the side of the seat, not to forget the usual massage chair.

They even have a bar on a plane

..Can you imagine that? A place to social on the plane, with lots of different desserts and finger food, airhostess as the "bar tender" to make you Cock Tail. My brother ordered me a "Screw driver".

I heard from my brother that for the first class, they even provide spa service..OH damn...Unbelievable...

Hopefully I have a chance to experience 1st class once, if I ever strike a lottery..

IP Man 2 - must watch

Believe it or not, I do not feel like in a white man's land when I was in Auckland. The first day I reached the city, I was very surprised..I see chinese characters everywhere..I once asked my friend in Auckland ;"is there any china town there?" and her response was "no", because Auckland city itself is a china town...For the few days I spent in Auckland, I went for korean and japanese food. Really good..So much better than what you can find in Adelaide or Brisbane..The Korean and japanese restaurants in most cases are run by Korean or Japanese, where they serve you the proper traditional meal..Yummy..

Can you believe that I watched IP MAN 2 in Auckland, NZ?? They actually have chinese movie in the cinema..That night, the whole cinema was filled up with people. 90% were chinese.

I myself haven't been watching any chinese movie in the cinema since years ago. In my opinion, many current chinese movies sucks ( no offence people). I usually watch action or horror movie in the cinema..Even spending 8 dollars to watch a comedy in the cinema to me it is a waste..

BUt IP MAN is so good!! AN excellent chinese movie. Better when it is shown on the curved screen which makes you focus on the centre of the screen...Good design..

There is one scene whereby Yip/Ip Man fought against a champion boxer...To make the whole story more dramatic, the boxer spoke of thousands and one bullshit to insult the chinese martial art.. When Yip/Ip Man won the battle...The cinema was filled with applause.. For the first 0.5 seconds I thought it was an effect from the movie itself, then I turned around and realised that it was the audience..They were so into the movie..

Hahaha...then I whispered to my sister in law

"..... is it appropriate to show this in NZ, I am a bit worried for the whites now..(of course this is meant to be a joke, just a movie)

People..go and watch Ip Man 2!!! GREAT MOVIE!! I am willing to watch it in the cinema for the 2nd time, definitely! It is that good!!

I rate it 9.5/10...I took away 0.5 because there was no caramel pop corn, only the salted ones..=(

And i spilled 90% of the popcorn on the floor middle of the movie (yeah..that gave me a good reason not to finish it)

By the way..Dont ever spend money on IRON MAN 2..It was a total disappointment..

Me , my brother and sister in law had fallen asleep throughout the show..

Adventures in New Zealand

If you think life is boring and wish to give your heart a good exercise and want some adrenaline rush, NZ is the ideal place. I flew to Auckland, NZ on the 29th April till 3rd of May. It was so exciting.

That was my first time riding a bike...i was very nervous..

time to challenge the very steep hill road...I didnt made it through.(My sis in law was the only one who made it through without second attempt)..*sob Sob*

Not many people on the boat that day...There were quite some space around me..During the last 360 degree turn, I was out of my seat and couldn't feel myself for 2 seconds.

There were 3 water falls that we had to go through..The tallest water fall is 7m height, which is the highest commercial water fall for rafting in the world so far.

I fell into the water when rafting through this 7m tall waterfall..

I was gone..

My brother was the only one who still stay in the raft.

Brisbane - April 2010

Time flies...my trip in Brisbane and Auckland has ended..Now I am back to Uni for studies..zzZZZ

This trip was amazing..Really awesome..

I was in Brisbane for 2 days...I stayed in Treasury Casino Hotel,

the Casino is just opposite the hotel..

Went to Casino about 4 times in 2 days..

Nice comfortable bed

I love the room a lot, with high ceiling..That is exactly what I want for my dream house.

But I hate it when you love certain cloth so much but it is oversized..Like these2 cloths..Didnt get to buy it coz smaller size was out of stock

Flying to Auckland & Brisbane

It is now 10:32am in the morning when I am writing this. I have exactly 16 hours and 33 minutes before flying off to Brisbane to meet up with my brother. Then on the 29th April I will be heading to Auckland together with my brother and sis in law.

I am so excited + tired + confused + lazy + sleepy

I haven't been getting enough sleep for the past few days. Suppose to sleep longer today but my biological clock woke me up at 7.30am...

Yeah...I am going to travel soon..

Finally,I have a chance to visit New Zealand, hehehehhee

If "the curse of 2012" is really going to happen, at least I have been to NZ and done some good travelling.

YeePeee!!!!! Now I have exactly 16 hours and 24 minutes before departing..

After posting my thought on MLM ( Multi-level Marketing), I have gained quite some positive feedbacks from people around. Thank you and glad that some of you enjoyed reading it.

I was having some random chat with my friend regarding my post on MLM, then somehow we ventured into the topic of MALAYSIA's VOTER TURNOUT.

I wrote this upon request

GET REGISTERED AND VOTE!!!

To understand this post, some background knowledge on Malaysia politics may be required.

Based on the googled information, the last election in year 2008, we had 70% voter turnout.

Quite often we go to kopitiam(chinese cafe) and overheard "politicians" sitting around the corner, talking out loud, " that NB ar...*&(*@&(*#&^&**)

OR XXXXX, ^%#@*&*&@( , why are they so stupid, look at our economy, bla bla bla...

and when you ask them if they vote,

Don't be surprise if their answers are NO.

1 in 3 Malaysians who are already qualified to be a voter, do not vote

Malaysians sometimes complain that more freedom of speech should be given, to allow voices of people to be heard

Election is a chance to express our thoughts and mind..That is the time your voice is taken into account ~~without being caught~~.

Guitar Lesson 1

For those who know me in person is used to me calling someone "sifu" (master/teacher) out of the blue. Most of my 'sifu"s are my friends. Basically if I am able to learn something from them, they will automatically be my Sifu. I used to have Ping pong Sifu, Basketball Sifu, Cooking Sifu, Graphic Sifu, Badminton sifu, and the list go on and on and on.... Yesterday I found myself another Guitar Sifu...I had one last time in Malaysia. Well, I am now in Australia, of course I need to get an Australia-based Sifu.

1. PIMA

I do play a bit of guitar back home but I just play without knowing the basic. What I used to do is go straight to google and search for my favourite song's guitar tab, asked a friend to come over and demonstrate a little bit ( the basic) and hope that I get to master the piece of music in 1 month time. LOL

I am greedy I know..Well, it did worked a little. I managed to learn maybe 1/4 (maybe less) of the song then I move on to another. Never once I finish learning the whole song.

Now this is something serious...Though I do feel embarrassed playing badly, all great musicians in the world had once in my position, so who cares..As long as my sifu can stand the band music I produced, no complaint

2.Then I learn changing cords to cords, CGFC...

I had done this in Malaysia 1 year ago, but I forgot. I played without cords. LOL

3. Lastly, I learnt bout free picking and Rest picking..

It was all good..Need more lessons

Multi-Level Marketing

What ever you are going to read later is expression of my personal opinion based on how much I know about multi-level marketing (MLM) and my own observations. I am speaking from a pharmacy student point of view, with limited business/marketing knowledge. You may or may not agree with what I say.

Just a bit of background knowledge bout MLM. Skip it if you know how MLM works

Definition of MLM From Wikipedia

Multi-level marketing = network marketing = direct selling = referral marketing =pyramid selling

- a marketing structure used by some companies as part of their overall marketing strategy.

The structure is designed to create a marketing and sales force by compensating promoters (members) of company products not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of other promoters they introduce to the company (the members recruited), creating a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation in the form of a pyramid.

Complicated?? Look at the picture below...

The products and company are usually marketed directly to consumers and potential business partners by means of relationship referrals (meaning your friends and relatives are your target buyers/new members) and word of mouth marketing.

Why would I want to talk about MLM? Because I recently received an email from one of my friend.

I'm doing side job selling a product called “XXXXX”. At first I really don’t believe what this product can do to my parents and their style of marketing is totally MLM. I bought a bottle for my parents and it really works.I also make some money by become their distributor.Just for the first 2 weeks, I collected RM1XXX

Such statement is very common in Malaysia. I am not against MLM..It is a smart marketing strategy. This is how I view it.

Advantages to the companies :

1. Their promoters ( members) pay to get the job/membership. Usually, they will need to pay annual fee or some form of fee.

2. They don't have to pay their promoters basic salary, phone allowance, transport allowance, not entitled to health benefits, EPF (in Malaysia), etc

3. Many of their "chain stores" are members' houses, which is rental-free and maintainance-free.

4. Some companies reward the promoters by giving out points. With the points they get some products for free which is then sold for money. Better cashflow for the companies.

5. In many cases, promoters/members = customers.

Advantages to promoters/members :

1. Flexible working time
2. Get the products cheaper with membership price.
3. Socializing and networking. Many MLM companies provide events, training, awards, etc.

The point I want to make here is that, I support the idea of MLM for products like cleaning agents, tools, and maybe cosmetics. Definitely NOT supplements/ health products!!

One product that works for one person might not be working for another person. Medication can be complicated. There might be a lot of potential medication interaction. People who are selling these products often are not pharmacists or doctors. Although they are trained by the company, I personally think that not all of them are knowlegable enough to sell the medications to the public DIRECTLY, especially patients who are already on many other medicines ( higher risk of interaction).

In Malaysia,

How often the distributors take time to ask/tell

" What medications are you taking?"
" Do you have any allergy"
" Please check with your doctors or pharmacists before commencing this product."

Very often they say

" it really works! It is very good. You should try"

I bet there will be some of them don't even know how exactly the supplement work. They might not even seen the clinical reports. All they say is "it is good, be the member to get cheaper price, you can earn a lot like me"

I have seen people who have earned decent money from MLM...Good for them...

But when it comes to supplements and complementary products, it is morally right to use MLM system?

Before asking someone to buy the products, I think that distributors/sellers/members/promoters should at least say :
" Please check with your doctors or pharmacists before you start on the product."

BOOK REVIEW : CHICKEN SHIT FOR THE SOUL 2 : MORE DROPPINGS

I guess most of you have heard of one of the best selling book titled : CHICKEN SOUP FOR SOUL. I have heard of the book a lot and wanted to borrow the book from the ADELAIDE City Council library. While browsing the search engine, I came across this book that catches my eyes:

CHICKEN SHIT FOR THE SOUL 2 : More Droppings

Chicken soup for the soul is so popular that I still haven't get the book from the library till today ( I reserved 2 mths ago and still waiting). So I decided to pick up the INTERESTING TITLED book.

As its name suggests, the book is full of shit...SHIT Stories. The book consists of many short stories, most of them are shit stories. Some are pretty lame..However, there ARE FEW that made me laugh like a mad person...Only few..The rest of them makes me feel shitty and restless...

The Times of Your Life is one that I enjoyed..It started off like this :

HAVE YOU EVER WONDER WHERE YOUR TIMES GOES?WELL, if you're the average person, you spend about 15 hours a year, that is two and a half minutes per day, brushing your teeth...

Then it talks about eating time :

We also spend much of our time eating...Bla bla bla

We also spend 340 hours exercising to lose weight that we gained in that 700 hours hours, 32 hours consulting diet books, 12 hours selecting low fat meals and 68 hours watching weight loss informercials.

And no offense to any American reader ( if there is one)

If Americans ceased eating, we would get back almost 50 full days of free time!

I don't mind typing the whole chapter/paragraph to entertain you guys, but I am worried about copy write issue. Though I am infamous, better to play safe.

This is one of the best part that Made me LAUGH..I am not going to write the exact sentence, I will break them down

Americans spend almost 1000 hours annually on s*x. Including...

600 hrs thinking about it

150 hours reading it

150 hours wishing to get some

26 hours making up phony descriptions

13 hours lying to friends about getting it

10 hours of phone S*x

41 hours in close personal relationship with ourselves ( if you get what this sentence means)

15 hours of the real thing

COMPUTER :

We now spend 14.7 hours WEEKLY on our home computer, break down as below

2.7 hours - Business and Household items

4 hours - answering Email from people you wont speak to on the phone or reading the same jokes 5 different ppl sent you

5.8 hrs - playing game while pretending to be working

Remainder (2.2hr ) - divided equally to figure out exactly what we did wrong to cause the com to screw up, correct it without having to reboot the whole system, trying to get out of the mortgage advertisements that attack you from no where

I think that it is a funny book to read when you want to have a good laugh. But be careful that some stories are so filled with shit that it became irritating..

I am not a chocolate fan before I am here in Adelaide. Now I crave for chocolate most of the time.

I am sure that most of you have tried hot chocolate before...But have you tried Chocolate + Tea??

If yes, have you tried Chocolate + tea + mint?

Don't like mint? Fine, you can have orange, chilli, hazelnut, etc etc.

These combinations may sound weird to you, but it is heavenly good. A MUST TRY!

I went to this shop named Chocolate Bean, (18 Union Street, Adelaide SA 5000)

They serve great chocolate drinks, provide coxy environment and show great smiles.

Something that I love very much about SA stores is individuality. Most shops are unique - it can be the menu, or the shop itself.

Unlike KL, many shops look the same, feel the same...a shop with too many chairs, trying to fit too many people in.

Look at the chocolate...SUCH A PRETTY PRESENATION

LOOK GOOD and Cost quite a bit..

White chocolate & Dark chocolate soup, with chocolate Mouise, Chocolate cake, Strawberries coated with chocolate, good presentation with traces of chocolate on the plate

A big cup of Chocolate drink, costed me AUD 4.50..To me, it is a reasonable price

I had chocolate + tea+ orange..I love it very much..Smooth chocolate sweetness with tea texture after taste, strong orange fragnance

Chocolate + tea + mint is not too bad also, but I still prefer my "orange" drink

My friend had something else, and I can't recall what it is call. Some chocolate drinks.

Hmm...How many times have I mentioned the word " chocolate"?

Personally, I enjoy the environment of Sumo Station (172, pulteney St, Adelaide). The customer service is good..I enjoyed the food there as well..

THE EASIEST MUFFIN RECIPE

I did this muffin one day before my PP assessment. I was too bored with my studies so I decided to made something nice for Easter day. 15 minutes was all I need. Very simple and love the texture.

The ingredients I used.

Ingredients list

Vegetable oil 1/4-1/2 cup

Sugar 1/2-3/4cup

Self rising flour 220g

milk 3/4 cup

egg 1

vanilla extract 1 tbs

Added flavour 150g ( it can be chocolate, apples, berries, etc)

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180 degree Celcius

2. Mix all the dryg ingredients together and make a well

3. Mix all the wet ingredients together and pour into the well.

4. Add flavouring and mix well until JUST combine. ( Over mixing with toughen the muffin)

5. Bake for 15-20 minutes

I love this recipe. The texture is really good. The next batch I made failed because I modified the recipe too much. Hahaha...give it a try when you are free..It is really moist and soft.

CHEWY COOKIES - Tried for fun

1st batch..the overcooked "crunchy" cookies

3rd batch...

The first batch I made was too crunchy, I baked it for extra 5 minutes( recommended time was 15 minutes). The last batch is probably the most "chewy" ones cause I only bake it for 15 minutes.

It tasted good but I still can't bake "subway" cookies. Still have to work out on the recipe.

Anyway, here is the recipe

Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cups plus 2 tbsp ap flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

3/4 cup butter (12 tbsp), melted and cooled until just warm

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

1 egg

1 egg yolk

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/4 cups chocolate chips ( I only used 3/4 cups)

METHOD:

1.Preheat oven to 160C.I did not have brown sugar, so I only used 1 cup of caster sugar and it is sweet enought.

2.In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.

3.In a large bowl, whisk together butter and sugars. Beat in the egg, egg yolk and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture, followed by chocolate chips.

4. Bake for 15-17 minutes, until just turning light brown all over. The edges should only be very slightly more brown, if at all, from the rest of the cookie. Allow cookies to cool before removing them from the baking sheet.

I am a coffee fan. I am willing to spend on a good cup of coffee. In Malaysia, I visit Starbucks to have my favourite beverage - Ice blended Mocha. Now in Adelaide, I love Gloria Jeans. Drinking coffee is an art, sitting with old frens comfortably, enjoy the music and allow my time to tick away without notice.

I recently bought myself grounded nescafe. Perhaps it is me who doesn't know how to make a good cup of coffee, the nescafe drink I made SUCKS..Really miss the good coffee out there. Not only that the taste is rich, texture is thick and smooth, it also satisfies my sights.

Post Ethic Paper Thought

One email received spoiled the day(S) of many students. Under great exam pressure, the feedback of the ethnic position paper works like salt on an open wound.

My life had been haunted by MORAL during secondary school, followed by MORAL STUDIES in pre-university. AND now ETHIC!! These subjects are subjective and abstract. These are not facts, they are just guildelines, based on the opinions of MAJORITY people to draw the line of boundaries between right and wrong, ethical or non-ethical...

I disagree the evaluation of one's moral, values and virtues based solely on papers and writing. Moral (the way it was conducted in Malaysia) was the stupidest examination created in the world. Don't get me wrong. It is an important subject, but think again, how can one judge a person's morality based on how much the person knows about the concept? Back in secondary school, we were FORCED to memorize the definitions of values- words by words ( KASIH SAYANG, HORMAT-MENGHORMATI, BELAS KASIH, TANGGUNGJAWABS and more bull shits) to pass our SPM. Isn't it silly? Moral is meant to be practiced in life, not memorised and just learn from book itself.

When I was in Pre-U, I had the worst lecturer ever in life. I am totally fine with lecturers who can't teach, it takes time to build up the teaching skill, but I shall not tolerate TERRIBLE ATTITUDES. WORST of all is that the lecturer was my Moral lecturer, a person who swears that she will penalise any students who dislike her and will take revenge on students who lodge a complaint of her to the management. WHat an irony? Just because she has a master or even PHD in moral subject does not make her a morally upright person to teach others about moral.

Now ethics...I have nothing against it. It is great to have some guidelines and concepts to TELL us the "most acceptable" method to solve a dilemma. Still.... an ethic position paper is not enough to judge whether one is ethical or not. If one student fails the assignment (apart from reasons such as wrong facts, poor grammar, poor expressions), does it mean that the student's way of handling the situation is ethically wrong. Isn't it ethic is a mixture of guideline + own judgement + own values... I really don't know what went wrong....

Love in food

What is the best food you have tasted so far? Abalone? Shark-fin? Bird nest?

What is the food that you will never forget its taste? is it the most expensive food you have ever had? is it the last french cuisine you have tasted in a classy restaurant that costed you hundreds of dollar for few dishes?

I grew up in shop house, a typical Malaysia kopitiam (chinese cafe) -KIN SUN RESTAURANT. Before I become a vegetarian, my uncle, the owner of kopitiam, was responsible for my food.I had tasted a lot of good food before I decided to convert into a vegetarian. In my family, children are very spoiled in terms of food, till today. When I was young, 2 young children (me and my cousin) of the kopitiam were given a quite large snow fish as a meal about once every 2 weeks. My uncle would prepare these dishes just before he picked us up from school, ensuring that the food is just cooked the moment we are home. Sometime he would use whole chicken and boil good concentrated chicken soup. In almost every case, the children were asked to eat first, the adults took the left over... my conservative family will never tell each other "i love you". All they did was showing affections through food. Every food they cooked, they added in special spice "Family unconditioned love"

There are few dishes that I doubt if I will ever forget the taste...

MOTHER's FOOD

That is for sure....Most children will regard their moms as the best chef in the world. Same goes to me...My mom is the best chef,best indonesia maid you will ever find in the world. Not only that she serves delicious food, you can "order" almost anything you want. Since the day I become vegetarian, whenever I randomly mentioned i want to eat XXXXX, in most cases, it will appear on the dining table the next day.

Egg sandwich was my childhood breakfast. During my primary school day, I hated vegetable. I only took cabbage. Egg and chicken were my favourite. My mom converted into a vegetarian since I was a baby. All she can do is to make egg sandwich for me. That is the best sandwich I ever had. If I need to be out to school in 6am, my mom will wake up 5am just to fry egg and make good breakfast for me. No matter how early I wake up, my mom will always be the earliest. In Malaysia, I never need to cook or prepare my own breakast. My mom will get everything done by then.

TOMATO FRIED RICE

I tasted that when i was 6/7 years old. I will never forget the taste. One big plate of fried rice, with some eggs, cabbage and lots of tomato sauce, SERVED to me when I was watching tv that evening as my dinner. It was cooked by my dearest brother. My mom went out station that time, my brother took care of my meals. I guess not every sister has the opportunity to taste the food cooked by elder brother. I am one of the lucky ones. It was the best fried rice I ever had.

My brother had cooked few times specially for me. He is always worried that his little sister gets hungry, bullied by people or sad, till today... When I was in thailand with him, although he had to work as usual, he stayed up 3-4am in the morning to spend time with me. On sunday early morning, he bought tons of food to store at home and tried cooking vegetarian food for me. Some of them didnt taste good, but the spice of 'LOVE' did fabulous job. I still remember the taste. My brother used to complain why I convert into a vegetarian, using foul language and funny names on me most of the time when we were out in restaurant, but i know deep in his heart he thought: I want my sister to taste such good food with me, but she can't.
Sad to say, though I knew how to cook all this while, he never tasted anything I cook before.

French Toast

Hahahaa...That is my famous dish...My uncle is the first one to had it and the last one so far. Ever since the day he passed away( about 2 years back), I never made french toast anymore. I just didn't want to do anymore, maybe I should start again.

I cooked this when i was 12 years old or younger. Being "ang mo sai"(westernize), i liked to explore western food. My mom did not like western food. My uncle was the one... Whenever I tried a new recipe, he was always the first one to taste. Being very naughty to make me angry, he sometimes complaint my food, giving very bad comment but always finishes my food with a smile. In most case, he would give me feedback and asked me to try again and again. His kitchen was one of my playgrounds.We cooked new year reunion dinner together. He taught me some skills and never get angry with me when i burnt his "ti gui" (chinese new year rice cake). He loved my french toast very much, he said it was one of the best toast he had.

One night before he passed away, I had a sudden rush to try a new recipe. I made some tomato pasta. In my mind, I told myself I must cook something for him that evening. My instinct told me " SUMIN YOU MUST!!"

That is the last food I served him, that night he gave me the best feedback ever without any bad comment.

Plain porridge

This was cooked by a person who is not blood related to me- My boyfriend. I was sick but my boss demanded that I have to continue working. He woked up at 5/6am in the morning to cook porridge for me. He also delivered the porridge to my office during lunch time so that I get hot porridge. How sweet of him right?

He cooked for me quite often, but that porridge is the one I really appreciate.

The taste of food is not just about how good a person cook. Sometimes the thoughts count. "Unconditioned love" is the best MSG you can add in food.

Hiking

I went for a hike at Morialta Conservation Park this morning. It was a good experience. My first hike of the year, FINALLY!!!!..

My first hike was in year 2004. Under Red Crescent Malaysia, I attended a leadership camp where we were FORCED to hike/track at 3am in the morning. Only 1 person of the team had torch light, and we the members got hell lots of scares from the organizers. They indirectly played us out. Well, that is high school fun..Since then I will hike somewhere at least once each year. Back then, I was fat and I seldom exercise. It used to seem impossible to me. Surrounded by the high spirit and constant motivation from my friends, I managed to complete one hike after another..Now I love hiking because I love to challenge myself, to spice up my life...

Personally, hiking is not just a sport, but it is a very good mental training and lessons of life. It represents path of life...Ups and downs. Some people think that going up is the hardest thing in hiking/mountain climbing. To me, I think that going down is the one that scares people. In life, we all struggles, stand strong on our legs to achieve the peak of success. No one in the world will stay at the peak forever. At some point of life, we will need to get down from the summit. When we are walking down the hill, most of us will take EXTRA PRECAUTIONS, cause if we fall, the consequences is terrible...it is similar to when one experiences the downs of life. Probably not to everyone, at least it is a YES TO ME.

I DON't MIND TO CLIMB UP, I DISLIKE GETTING DOWN FROM THE SUMMIT. I HAVE FEAR...

Along the journey, each step I took , is a reminder of life. The moment you reach the peak of your life, the downfall is following behind. It teaches me that, it is norm of life...

Hiking also teaches me about choices of life. In many hiking places, there will be at least 2 paths provided to people : EASY PATH AND HARD PATH. I will normally choose the hard path. I want to challenge myself, not only my physical fitness, more importantly I am challenging my mind and will power. In life, most people will choose the easy path, including myself. Why get yourself into so much suffering? Sometimes going through the hard way, we learn more..Each hill that we conquer is a preparation for the next hill....Each failure/success we experience is a preparation for the next success.

TODAY's HIKING IS GOOD!!! I manage to build a better bonding with friends...Want to hike again after my final!

Paint job

I am plain bored today..I have counselling test tomorrow but cant concentrate any further..Looking at my computer i guess is time to mess with my picture again..I haven't install photoshop since I got this new laptop..Just too lazy..I used to have some computer friends who help me to install lots of software..I only have paint as my device at this moment..

I know it is a very rough work..Just want to do something to spice up my brain...Will be getting photoshop after my tests..Miss it too much..

Wasted 20 minute on this..time to get back to my studies....zzzZZZZZ

Make up and Photo Angle

I was browsing some of my friends' blogs this morning. I was too bored, so i decided to track the blogs they follow. First I went to K.S's blog, X.X's blog,which then link me to D.Y's blog, etc..Being a girl, I admire girl's beauty and I truly understand why guys are so into girls. Girls are interesting to look at, their eyes, make up, dressing, hair-do, and the lists go on.

Some of the bloggers are really pretty and beautiful at the first glance. However, after going through one after another I start to get a little sick with it. Not that they are not pretty, I am so sick of the fake eye lashes, foundation, make up and the worst is CAMERA ANGLE!!

These days everyone can be pretty if you know how to "package" yourselves and invest on your look. If you are borned with short eye lashes, get the FAKE one, you want to have bigger eyes, GET THE COLOURED CONTACT LENS. I personally has no against over these, but when you see 7 girls out of 10 ( online photos) with those kinda things, beauty becomes artificial.

Especially, when I came across to this particular girl's blog. First glance my thought was : OH MAN, SHE IS GORGEOUS!!! WHen it comes to my last look at her ( after browsing much of her photos) : " WHY MUST SHE ONLY SMILE ( without showing the teeth), WHY ONLY THIS SIDE OF THE FACE, WHY ALWAYS THIS LOOK!!" In the end, she looks more like a doll than a human to me. I don't feel the happiness from her pictures.

The girl makes me very very curious about her TRUE LOOK, the face without make up.

This is a must watch..Amazing
