The bride and groom designed their letterpress invitations themselves. The swirls of the letterpress wedding invitation hint at the swirls in the gorgeous stained glass of the <a href="http://www.pepperdine.edu/specialprograms/ceremonies/">Stauffer Chapel at Pepperdine University</a>. Rarely do we get one color letterpress requests here at Joie Studio, but for this wedding, there was only one color of any importance: red! There was no need for the bride and groom to add in a second color as the red was beautifully accented by the cerulean blue of the gorgeous stained glass of the chapel and then with the gorgeous turquoise blue of the Pacific Ocean! For this gorgeous Hawaiian wedding at <a href="http://www.lanikuhonua.com/">Lanikuhonua</a>, Joie Studio custom designed the passion flower motif, taking inspiration from the floral motif on the bride's wedding dress. The design was used in the letterpress wedding invitations we created, the menus, even the invitation stamps! The floral design from the wedding dress was even carried through on the wedding cake.
