DIY Succulent Mini Garden

2012-06-06T20:48:00.001-07:00

Succulents are supposed to be easy to take care of right?

We shall see........

I love the look of a mini succulent garden.

Terrarium?

Atrium?

Tarrium?

In English please...

A container with rocks and succulents.

Get it? Good.

So here is my oh so professional DIY POST!!!

enjoy

go for and make succulent mini gardens!

Step one: find cute, CHEAP, pot/dish/bowl/etc. Whatever your heart desires to plant in. via- Goodwill, Salvation army, moms kitchen..
(within reason people)

(ser-is-lee)

Step dos: buy delicate, little, hopefully not so delicate succulents.
Via home depot, lowes... Etc.

Step |||. Buy or collect nice, unique rocks/pebbles/stones. Via hobby lobby or your local crik. (creek) or a neighbors driveway.

(heehee)

(kidding don't steal!!)

Step 4. Plant your pea picking heart out baby! Plant very very gently. These succulents are fragile. Smush, arrange, till it's art in succulent form.

Ta-Da! Now set somewhere sunny and enjoy.

From what I've read I think misting them once a week is good in the watering department. But don't trust me. Google it.

FYI finding a pot/bowl/thingToPlantIn that has a wide mouth opening would be GREAT! Especially if you plan on smushing 3! Three! Succulents in one! 1! Pot/bowl/thing.

P.S. It'd be great to have a blog post where the pics were actually in order!!!!!!!!! Sorry. Small mini rant to match the mini garden =•P

Hello muscle pain, nice to feel ya

2012-06-04T22:25:00.001-07:00

Pain is weakness leaving the body. Huh. Yea. Sure.

My arms hurt. My stomach, where ab muscles should be hurts. But I like it, I tell ya!

It means I've been actually following my newest workout thing. Thank you Pinterest! <3

June Mean Abs. Or Mean June Abs? What evah. It's work baby.
Day one may be like 7 sit-ups. But its still work!

I've been posting my progress updates on instagram. I loveeee IG ! I'm thankful for the "likes" I get when I post workout complete for the day. It gives me the extra boost I need.

Who knows if I'll make it to the end of the month..... Like 200 crunches, 100 sit ups. Some crazy crazy numbers! :-/.

I THINK I CAN, I think I Can!!!

On another painful note... We just finished listening to The Hunger Games series. Loved it! It's refreshing to read/listen to a book that can be very captivating and not by using steamy cheap love scenes or vulgar four letter words. Just by a good storyline. Let's say I could of cried at a few scenes. Ok. Maybe. I. Did.

So sue me. I'm emotional.

Back to my lack of ab definition. I took a cozy blanket outside. Laid down and did my meager exercises under the flicker of lightenin' bugs. My workout music was the giggles of my babies. Perfect night. All that was missing was my hard working hunny.

(and yes my children laugh at me when I exercise;)

Ohhh found some vintage goodness at The Salvation army thriftin'.

And of course my love and infatuation of sky, clouds, sunsets, moon pics still lives on.

Now I do believe it's time for ZzzZz's.

Goodnight blog world.

Oh and saw some funnies on Pinterest.

P.S. Really goodnight. Ser-is-lee.

Pardon my absence. They say it makes the heart grow fonder. You LOVE myblog now. Right? Right?

2012-05-30T11:03:00.001-07:00

Life is busy I tell ya?!!!!!?

It's been a whole buncha days since my last post.

Please forgive me.

Here is a quick recap of life in the day of us.

A picture recap that is. Do you really think I've got an actual word post to post. Oh. You give me too much credit.

I'll come up with one at 1am. The best blogging hours.

Here goes-----

Easy peasy Menu Board

2012-02-24T03:09:00.001-08:00

Thrifted frame-
Cloth napkin-
Dry erase marker-

Waa laa

Found this lovely idea via Pinterest. <3 that site.

Anyways basically lay cloth napkin/fabric of your choice behind glass of frame like you would a picture. Close frame. Hang on wall. And enjoy your borrowed creativity! You could also swap out fabric/markers to match Holidays.

Oh, the color possibilities are endless!

This basically cost me 1$. Price of thrifted frame. I <3 thrifting. But that's a whole nother post. Yes, "nother". Not not "another". Just "nother". I'm from MO, Dontcha know.

My Man couldn't believe I said "nother" like it's actually a real word, in that context. He laughed. And shook his head, while laughing.

And laughed some more...

It's ok. I'm tough. I have 4 brothers.

A lonely blog.

2012-02-07T03:28:00.001-08:00

Sorry for the absentee blogger that I am. :-/.

2012-01-04T02:52:00.001-08:00

The title says it all.

The Holidays are over. Can't say I miss nonstop music about jingle bells, toy packaging, and drummers.

Yes, hello I'm Mrs Scroogette.

No not really.
Really... Im not

I'm thankful for a Savior being born aka Jesus Christ. Albeit, it was not Dec 25, nor did he have a tree with trimmings. Or Drummers.

(need to figure out the direction of this particular blog post. Sooooon)

Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Matthew 1:21 (KJV)
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Again I'm thankful for a savior!!

We enjoyed several days down home in MO.. Family Time is always super special.

My Man is starting a small new business venture. Wooden Keepsake Pocket Knives. Only 5 easy payments of $29.99.

I'm KIDDING!

Ser-is-lee.

We've started low priced. But will adjust the price when I list them on etsy. To cover fees, new power tools etc..

If I can remember to list them..

Stinkin mommybrain is bout to make me forget everything... Dontcha know.

(gotta blame it on something)

Hmmm still trying to get direction here........

Oh yes, the most overused status:blog:tweet:pin:etc right now... Drum roll please...

New Years Resolution!! Which is saying.. I'm weak without will power 11 months out of the year, but come January I turn superhuman and WILL stick to my N.Y.R (for a day, week, month) huuuya!!

Was that harsh?

Forgive me for being honest.

I'm guilty too. Pulling out my soap box.

If your gonna make a change. Let's make it forever not just month long sad attempt at changing overnight.

K?

K!

Whew glad we got that squared away nicely.
I can sleep easy now.
Since it's O dark hundred. My Man woke me up while stumbling out of bed to the alarm clock. He nearly took out a wall.

But really. Changes I want to see in me? Life changes not just short term failed resolutions.

Making ugly door knobs beautimous

2011-12-05T22:21:00.001-08:00

Anyone else dislike the gold bathroom/bedroom/closet knobs?

Raise your hand if it's a "yay" if it's "nay nay" go read a different blog post.

I have seen this idea on other websites and Pinterest of course.

Love it!! I think it really updates a dated look. One closet knob done... 1456 knobs to go... I kid I kid! Only 24 knobs to go!

I think I can, I think I can.

Go forth, and spray paint.

P.S rust-o-leom didn't give me spray paint just to blog about their paint. Just wanted to share a good product.

Upcycling. Lamp to vase refashion.

2011-12-05T22:10:00.001-08:00

So I've had this elephant lamp for years. It's been thru two lamp shades, two states, three different homes.

Needless to say it was time for a change, facelift, new lease on life.

Time for a new use! My Man robbed the light bulb plugger inner guts to fix my lovely next to the piano lamp that had broken light bulb plugger inner guts.

Ser-is-lee.

So technical here, aren't we? dontcha know ...

So I say to My Man "ohh let's make this a vase!!" He says "sure I can do that" (such confidence).

Bring on the power tools! Some plaster dust, one broken piece later.

Waa Laa!

Vase is ready to be flowerized!

Basically he used I think a jig saw to saw off the top of the lamp. Then made the opening bigger and smooth. Then he hot glued on the piece that broke off. Then I proceeded to paint it my new fave color. Rustolem Hammered Bronze(I think) I know it was hammered. Which is a neat effect. I've also started spray painting all my hideous gold indoor door knobs. They are looking goooood! Well ahem, the one that I have done is looking goooooood!

Ah the power of spray paint.

Go forth, upcycle and spray paint!
It's fun.

Potty training? It is finished

2011-12-02T10:05:00.001-08:00

Woo hoo. It's been almost two weeks since my baby boy has been diaper free!!

Go RC!!

He loves his "unawar". Thankfully. Only 3 accidents. Potty training you ain't got nothing on my boy. Needless to say him sitting on our lovely pews at Church still makes me noi-vus! Please Lord let the only puddles I see be because of the rain!

A Tale of 4 Thanksgiving Dinners Missouri Style

2011-12-02T09:50:00.001-08:00

A little late eh? Happy Thanksgiving Bloggy Land!! :-)

We had a good trip to visit our Families. Lots of yummy food, hilarious laughs, some aggravation(won't go there*), and wonderful memories were made.

First stop was middle of the Boonies. Aka The In Laws.
Amish are neighbors.
Miles of dirt road.
Horse poop.
Did I mention middle of the boonies?
Yes? Ok then. Just wanted you to paint the mental picture :)
ah, smell the manure...

Onto good smelling things!
I made Dressing, Baked Mac n Cheese, Broccoli and Cheese Casserole, and had help thankfully making the Pumpkin, and Pecan pies. Thanks Sissy K! :)

The Highlight of Lou's trip to Boonies was Uncle D taking us on a Horse and Buggy ride. The in laws have horses and they wanted to go riding. I do not ride, neither do my babies. So thankfully we buggy-ied on down the road.

Get it boogied/buggy-ied?!

You can LOL if you want.

Ser-is-lee! Go head!

Triple dawg dare ya. It'll make you feel better.

Oh ya back to boonies and manure.

The in laws and My Man rode horses. Let's just say it was a very eventful ride. For them. The buggy boogied on by. An hour trip took about 3 :) The horse My Man rode was slower than slow, which is slow. Dontcha know.

Several Amish wanted to drag race but we declined.

Unfortunately our Buggy Horse Dolly was a wee bit gassy.
Sorry Dolly, don't mean to embarrass you. :) shewww wee.

Girl, you need some bean-o.

We stayed the night in the boonies and went to My Hometown the next day.

No place like Mommas <3. Momma made traditional turkey feast for lunch. I made dressing, pumpkin, and pecan pie.

And Oreo dirt balls.
So yummy you'll smack somebody!

Or however that redneck saying goes?
Insert LOL here. Blog rules! Kthnx

Then we played games and enjoyed 1456 kids running around like wild yayhoos. No not really. Just 5. Until dinner then the number almost doubled.

Let's see... 1456x2=someNumber

Oh sorry I meant the 5 almost doubled. 5+4=9 A++

Ser-is-lee I'm such a well rounded blogger, you'll gain brain cells while reading this!

No comments from any genius-essess who may read this post.
:) you know who you are!!

I'm a super proud Auntie. <3 I love Sal, Jo, P3, Bub & Wburp, Renee, Yman.

And yes we are a nicknaming family. Dontcha know. My Daddyo gave the best nicknames.... Sigh. MISS HIM.

Ah put on a happy face! :-)

Back to the tale of 4 dinners 3 pounds gained... Dun dun dunnnnnnn.

Scary huh?

My waistline is/was terrified.

My mouth on the other hand sampled every pie and dessert it saw.

No fear a'tall.

A pity really.
A yummy pity albeit.

Very yummy.

Mmm turkey and dressing. Gram's dessert, pumpkin roll, dirt ball, pumpkin pie, brisket... And the list goes on... Feed me!

For dinner at Mommas we had Brisket, Baked Taters, Baked Beans, rolls, and some more sides I forgot about..
#forgetfulblogger.

Then we had a Chili Dinner at Uncle J's house for Mommas side of the family. Saw cousins I hadn't seen in years. Saw chocolate chip cookies I missed dearly also. Yum.

Ah highlight yumminess. Deer summer sausage from my eldest Bub.
Delish!!

Bacon wrapped fried deer tenderloin. Wow. Drool. From my second eldest Bub. Delish!!

Can't believe I forgot to take plate pics?!?!
What kind of blogger am I?! Well there's always next year....

#toldYouIwas/AMforgetful

Family, fun, friends, food, memories, love.... Just being together.

#BlessedBeyondMeasure.

Ser-is-lee who needs a good belch after all that food talk?! :-)

insert LOL now.

Wow. Totally forgot about my madly awesome target practice hair spray can killin time!

Shot the can my first try. I won't tell you I missed every other shot.
Shh don't tell. My Man, Me, Sissy K, and D went target practicing a little. Fun fun!

Also if you have trained eye and saw the * by aggravation. Read here. If you didn't see it read anyways. Hilarious! Heard someone explain what it means to be aggravated and bite you tongue so you don't say anything. Which I did a little scratch that. Alot of. :) so anyways. You stick your tongue out and say "dee dy dongue ith deeding" translation- "see my tongue, its bleeding" hilarious! Maybe you hadta be there. How many of you readers just stuck your tongue out, bit it, then tried to say what I typed? Raise your hand! :)

#EvenDuringTheRoughTimes.

Hello. Imma BzzAgent.

2011-11-14T10:25:00.001-08:00

If you haven't done so yet, I advise you to register for Bzzagent.com. Very nice testing, free samples, coupons and most importantly ME or YOU or WE get to share our opinion on new products. How cool is that?!

Bzz kit came in the mail today. Kroger's The Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookies.

They are delish. Not soft like some over preservative filled cookies. Which I don't mind the crunchy. They really do taste homemade. I was impressed.
While I do wish they were more to a pack. They are the size of homemade cookies, so it would be hard to package so many. I can't wait to eat these with a glass of milk. And at 120 calories. Not bad, if you eat one as dessert. So bottom line. I would buy these, and would recommend them to friends. Which I will do when I Bzz and pass coupons out! Enjoy!

Broccoli Cheese Soup Pioneer Woman style

2011-11-07T10:02:00.001-08:00

I pretty much love any recipe Ms Ree posts.
I was also excited to try and Broccoli Cheese soup recipe that DOESN'T use velvetta.
Why yes, I love the processed cheese spread. But I would like to use more real foods when cooking.

A friend has posted Pollan's Food rules. Wow. They are a great read! I need to try and follow these more. For example. Eat/Cook only foods that your grandmother would recognize as real food. (not exact phrasing) Link to news article-www.huffingtonpost.com/mobileweb/michael-pollan/food-rules-a-completely-d_b_410173.html

Here's the link to PW's soup.

www.thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2011/11/broccoli-cheese-soup/

Loved it!
Although I left out the nutmeg, didn't have any. And I used milk instead of 1/2 and 1/2. Didn't have that either. But I had onion! And broccoli! And cheese! And milk! :)

Butterfingers the homemade version

2011-11-07T09:47:00.001-08:00

Homemade butterfingers ?! How?!

Easy peasy. No I didn't invent this. Got this recipe from bunsinmyoven blog. Thanks!

http://bunsinmyoven.com/2011/10/25/homemade-butterfinger-candy-bars/

3 cups candy corn melted
1.5 cups smooth peanut butter
Chocolate for dipping them in when cooled, firm and sliced.

Go make them now. Especially after the October holiday clearance.
Candy-corn is cheap cheap.

Best cold from the fridge. They really do taste almost exactly like Butterfingers. I was suprised.

Again my bff Ms Diét Needaloseweight is mad about this recipe. Heehee. I haven't talked to Mr. Wií Fitscale in a week either. Need to see if he's better with numbers yet. Highly doubtful. There's always hope tho.

Birthday Cake Makin Days!

2011-11-07T09:38:00.001-08:00

I decided to make my daughters 5th bday cake. We would be having a party with her bff R. So the race was on.... What to make, what color, what flavor, how much???!!

Make a cake..duh.

Pink double duh.

Chocolate/yellow combo triple duh.

Three layer baby!

Although some yellow cake dislikers said we needed white cake. Pshaw. :)

Ok so, three layer, pink buttercreme with yellow Fondant highlights. Sounds easy huh!

Not! Fondant failed big time. I wanted the top layer for Lou and R to share and I wanted it yellow Fondant with a "5". Well you can't have your Fondant cake and eat it too, dontcha know?

The Fondant highlights worked, but the layering Fondant. Not so much.

So all layers were buttercreme aka buttah-creme. My inspiration was IamBaker's rose cake tutorial. Let's just say her cakes look like beautiful embroidered roses and mine looks like playdoh roses. But I tried. And Lou said "mommy you are so awesome" "mommy this cake looks so awesome" that's all that matters :)
of course several fellow party goers bragged on my cake decorating attempt. Thank you friends, your too kind. :)

The cake was yummy. The bff's like the pink and posed prettily in front of their cake. They nibbled on their Fondant initials I "tried" to make :)
a good time was had by all.

Except for my diet, she hated every second of oooey gooey buttah-creme makin, and cake eatin', and second helpings.

Ser-is-lee. Hated it. I on the other hand loved it... Until I visit with my other friend Mr. Wii FitScale. He's French. Bad with numbers by the way. And I think he lies.

Well enough blogramble. Here's the cake pics.

Baybeeee Fee-vahh. Nuff said.

2011-10-27T21:58:00.001-07:00

Wow. Ser-is-lee. Feeling the baby fever.....

I have an almost 5 year old, and a newly turned 2 year old. One girl, One boy. Perfect number eh? But I want another!!!!!! Waaaaaaaa.

Ah sorry. Craziness....

I see ultrasound, baby belly pics. And sweet newborn faces...

Most of all I want to be content with what God has so richly Blessed us with. And I am. I am so very thankful.

"The things that I love and hold dear to my heart, their just borrowed. They are not mine at all. Jesus only let me use them to brighten my life, so remind me, remind Dear Lord"

I told My Man I needed to buy one of those Home Ec school project babies and that would be my baby fix every few days. :) I would insert and "lol" after my lame bloggy blog humor. But it would be a lie! I in fact didn't laugh out loud. Didn't even "col" cackle out loud. Nor did I "sol" smile out loud. Frankly its too late for that nonsense.

Hey, Go Cardinals!!

Sorry I'm from Missoura. Misery. Missouri. Gotta root for the home team.

Back to baybeees and loling. Wait... I forgot my blog humor punch line. Stinkin. It's 11:47. It's late I'm tired. I don't need another baby. I can't even update my bloggity blog every day. Bad blogging momma!

Well it's now 11:48.

This is where I would be posting a positive test pic if I were having a baby.

Just FYI.
Future reference.
Just sayin'
ya knowww.

11:56.

These diapers smell like baby powder.

{Swoon}

Clarification.
They smell like powder when new, clean and unused. :)

An apple a day....

2011-10-20T19:28:00.001-07:00

We got a wild hair/hare and made Apple Chips tonight! delish!

A few apples- washed, sliced & cored.

Spread on baking pan

Pop in hot oven. I put mine at 350-400 for 15 mins then lower it to 275 till they are crispy. I like'm crispy!

Enjoy. :)

Update. I burnt the apple chips. Do as I say, not as I do. The end.

Saturday Driving around day

2011-10-15T17:11:00.001-07:00

Just a few shots of sights we sighted while driving around.

Knock-off Nutella Krispies. Yum.

2011-10-05T21:44:00.001-07:00

I had a sweet tooth tonight. And Lou and My Man ate all the Aldi's cream puffs :-/ sad day. Anyways.

I had marshmallows & rice krispies.

So I started melting some butah, and thought hmmmm these would be a bajillion times better with a little hazelnut spread. De-lish.

Short post, but wanted to share my sweet tooth fix :)

Also please ignore the unedited photos.... I have sweet tea to make and a sink full of dishes to do :)

Priorities priorities.

A few of my favo-rite things. Product review.

{{PRODUCT REVIEWS I.M.H.O}}

(in my humble opinion) learn something new everyday dontcha?!

I'm signed up for Vocalpoint. Love that site! It's a sample/coupon site that send out samples of new products.

My latest VP was Downy Unstopables.

LOVE THEM!!! They smell awesome. If I could blog a smell I would but the trusty ole iPhone doesn't do that YET;)

Just a little add in to your laundry. Before adding clothes it says. Which I added it under the clothes since I have a front load stackable washer/dryer. I put it directly in the washing drum.

My towels have never smelled so good! I was randomly smelling my kitchen towels throughout the day.

My Man didn't care for it because it's deer season.

Remember {scent free man} post?

Oops. Deer gonna smell him coming from the next state :-)

Back to VP and good smelling laundry!

Bottom line- easy to use, smells great. I'm not sure about the price though that could be a big factor if I buy it or not. At least I have coupons. :)

{{product review número dos}}

Suprised you with that choppy spanish didn't I, eh? :-)

Found this game at Big Lots. $5.00. Trivial Pursuit Steal. Card game version of Trivial Pursuit. Me and My Mans new favo-rite game. :) so far it's neck in neck for the championship. I'm pretty fond of the quicker card versions of some old time board games!

Again gasp at the bilingual blogger!! Yay go me, go me... And etc.

LOVE Finish Quantumatic automatic dishwasher dispenser!! $3.00 at Yup you guessed it, Big Lots again:) 12 washes in the package. Pretty nifty design also. My dishwashers new bff4eva!

Went to our neighborhood Aldi's for some groceries. Fell in love with this picture of lovely delish cream puffs. {swoon} for $4.99 pretty nice dish! Plus if you wanted you could pass them off as you own :)

Well enough unpaid advertising !
Gee-man-eee.

Stuffy Nose = so-so al-fray-doh

2011-09-26T11:04:00.001-07:00

Sneezing, stuffy nose, itchy eyes!

ALLERGIES!!!!!

Just popped two allergy pills.

#workquicklyPLEASE

So I'm whipping up some tasty Alfredo today. Make some last week that was "to die for"

Ser-is-lee. It was THA best.

Creamy sauce, bow tie pasta, and lovely steamed broccoli.
Ahh scrum-diddly-umpticous!

Wish I could remember what seasonings I put in it.

I can't be the only one who "smells" food while cooking to know if it's right or not? Meatloaf, chili, Alfredo, spaghetti sauce, banana bread, etc etc. On big whiff of it and you know if it needs more pepper, ketchup, pumpkin spice or parmesan cheese.

When your smeller is out of commission. It puts a damper on the whole smell and season way I cook.

Thus the so-so al-fray-doh. Haven't tasted it yet. But my hopes are already dashed that it's THA best. Although that may have something to do with accidentally adding sugar/cinnamon mix :-/. Oops.

I have a lovely magnetic spice rack and I marked on the lisa what the contents are.... Sometimes when I'm so caught up being cooktastic I don't read names. Just grab and add! BAM!

Oops. And I think I burnt my buttah. BAM!

How much pepper do you think it will take to drown out the cinnamony sugarness!? :) Bon appetite... That's wrong right? Apetit? Eh whatev....

Sorry this post is almost pictureless. I deleted them before I remembered to add them to the post that I also forgot to post :-/. Oh the joys of benadryl fog.

A myriad of ramblings...

2011-09-22T23:03:00.001-07:00

Sorry for the silence. Get prepared for a myriad of excuses. Wow that was a smart sounding word. Let me google it and post the definition so I don't forget what it means. Brb. ....... K Imbackk!

{{myr·i·ad/ˈmirēəd/
Noun:A countless or extremely great number.
Adjective:Countless or extremely great in number.}}

So there you go. Spelling Class is over for the day. Your can be dismissed at the conclusion of this apologetic rambling post.....

Been busy as a bee :). My Mans family is coming up this weekend. We have also been working on processing the deer meat (no fun). And it's been fall cleaning time round heerr'!!

Also, something is in the works. Shhhhh IT'S A SURPRISE. Can't say what, when, how, who, where, why, or how come. YET. And no I'm not pregnant. Ha! Gotcha! I mean no I'm really not prego, but yet, yes I got you cuz you were thinking I was/am. Weren't you?.....

So, ya. Back to my original thought. Which was..... Silence. Apologies myriad, plethora of them, apologies that is.... Fun words.
Say that 10 times fast. Dare ya.

{happenings}

Potty training...................

Potty training may or may not be the end of my sanity. If RC "tinkles" (I say tinkles in ".." cuz my man says "my boy doesn't tinkle") so anyways, if he wets/urinates/potties in the floor one more time. I quite possibly may possibly GO INSANE. We have been skipping diapers, in favor or big boy undies...me-"RC do you need to potty?" RC-"no"

1 minute later....

{splash}

Me-"ugh" and now cleaning the floor/pillow/ceiling etc.....

Just kidding about the ceiling! Haha

Lou got to practice in the Kiddie Choir at Church. SUPER PROUD MOMMY MOMENT!!! " What a Mighty God We Serve!" great song too. She wasn't even scared to practice singing.

Did I mention, I dislike processing deer meat. And if my bow huntin' Hunny gets another deer, we shall shell out a myriad of money to get it processed for us. Where all I have to do is put lovely packaged packages in the freezer. Ah, that'd be the life. But yes I'm thankful for the blessing the meat will be but by George it's dirty work, dontcha know.

I have step by step pics. Thinking of having My Man do a guest post....

"Dear Season 2011.. Bow Hunter Diaries"

Next week will be our Anniversary. 8 wonderful years of marriage. Finding the love of your life is perfect.
There may be bumps and bigger bumps but it's amazing. An amazing thing called {LOVE}.

Ohhhhhhhh geez almost forgot. One of my fb friends www.Mistydavisphotography.com
Posted a wonderful tutorial. Ruffled Posie Belt. It's superb. And I plan on making it in a myriad of colors ;-) (love that word)

I have to find the closure buckle Thingy. Then the belt will be done. It was easy, fun and the tut was very very well spoken err, typed and easy to understand. She has more tutorials posted and will be posting more. She also has an etsy shop.

Cute stuff Maynard.

I think that is all for now. Must wake up early, clean, do dishes, laundry, vacuum, sweep, clean, go to target, browse clearance, homeschool, clean up for Bible Study, welcome inlaws, cook, pray potty training works, and I'm sure also do a myriad of other things.

Just a little fodder.

fodder n. Feed for livestock, especially coarsely chopped hay or straw. Raw material, as for artistic creation.

Obviously I'm loosely basing my usage on the latter definition.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (KJV)

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
[2] A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
[3] A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
[4] A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
[5] A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
[6] A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; [7] A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
[8] A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Recess!!!!! :) class dismissed.

Also a special congrats to my friends J and A on the Birth of their precious Baby Boy U.B. :)

I've got the best momma. I know most people feel that way about their own.

She has always been there for me and our family. Someone to talk with, laugh with, share joy with, endure sorrow with. Thankful also she is my babies Meme. They are blessed to have her.

My Momma probably won't see this post ever, she doesn't get online much. Occasional trips to the library. But I want to give honor where honor is due. I love your bones Momma!
