It feels like it’s been a long time since I started this bloggity thing. I guess it has. November 07 saw me write my first post. I’ve met some awesome people along the way. So many I couldn’t list them all here.

The first ever blog I read was, a blog about gaming. Then I found TJ’s blog and when she joined NaBloPoMaHo in Nov 07 I wanted to jump on the bandwagon, although I didn’t really have a clue what I was letting myself in for! Thanks to the NaBlo’in fun I met Veronica, Lotus and Sandy, along with many others. Those are the three I still read religiously – though I may not comment all the time (naughty blogger/commenter!).

There have been a *lot* of changes in my life since I started blogging, not to mention new friendships I’ve made online. Barbara and Mrs W come to mind when I think of that. Actual UK bloggers! OMG! I swear I couldn’t find any UK bloggers till the British Mummy Bloggers ning group started up – now there are so many to choose from I don’t know where to start.

Today (as you might have guessed) is Delurker day 2010, and (of course) I’d like to find out if there are actually any lurkers here on my blog. I’d love to know more about you, and if you have a blog, I want to have the chance to read it!

So, if you’re normally a lurker (as I am myself on quite a few blogs), please de-lurk yourself, even if it’s only for one day! I’d love to hear about how you found me, and also… which is better – chocolate, or crisps? Cause I’m never quite sure myself… (also I would ask who your favourite blogger is but it’s been done! ).

It’s a photo I took very recently.

I was playing about with my settings when I took it, and it didn’t come out at all how I’d planned, but I love the movement in it.

It’s just so Zack. He’s really into his music at the moment (thank you Dean!), and he’s always on the move. My perfect imperfect photo of my boy. I love it!

You guys know I’ve always had a thing for hands!

Well, last night was the first time Zack ever stayed up for the bells, and he almost made it! That was us at about 10pm ish, I think.

This was him at 11pm…

The quality ain’t that great cause these were taken on photobooth and my iPhone, but hey… at least there’s proof! I woke him up for the bells though, so I got to bring in the New Year with two of my favourite people.

I guess a lot of people will be blogging about their resolutions this year. I don’t think I actually made any last year, it was basically all about surviving.

I have a good feeling about 2010 though, it’s gotta be better than 2009, right? At least December was awesome though, so I won’t complain.

What will 2010 bring about for me?

I will turn 26. Dean will be 31, Zack will turn 5 and will start school, and Max will turn 3 and hopefully start nursery (can you scream FREEEDOOOOOOOM with me???? :D:D ).

Max will start talking properly.

I will get a divorce (yay!).

Life will be awesome.

2010 is gonna be my year, I can feel it. Even my horoscope seems to say it’ll be a good year for me!

What’s my main goal for the year? To lose weight. I’ve been losing steadily since last summer so I’ve just gotta stay on track. I need to do this for my health, my self esteem, and to be a better mum to my boys.

I’m also going to attempt to write more on the blog again. What can I say, a certain wonderful person has kept me busy/entertained/extremely happy so I’ve not had the same amount of time on my computer. I’ve gotta say, I don’t really mind at all!

Well I’ve been kind of absent from the Internetz, but with good reason, they’re sitting up there playing games together.

What can I say – THERE IS ACTUALLY LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE COMPUTER!! Who’d have thought? O.o

Anyhoo… Christmas pressies have been bought, the tree is up, my boys are doing really well and loving having Dean about. Hell even Max has said his name (what about MUMMY huh??). I think he’s playing me. He’s been mouthing the words to songs etc but not actually *saying* them. We’ve got wow (as in, wowowowowow, not wow as in world of warcraft, honest!), Deeeeeeeeeeeen, ank ooooo (thank you), “dowdow” (dummy), Gannii (granny) and gampa (grandpa), and lots of other sounds. So he’s doing really well I think.

Zack is being an absolute star. He’s loved having D about to play games with and generally having a guy about to talk to/play with. So far there don’t seem to be any problems with mummy having a boyfriend – other than him insisting that “D can be both our boyfriends!”, LOL!

Rocky has become such a sook it’s quite pathetic. I love him, but did you leave your tough guy act in Dundee? I feel like I should change his name to Mr Snugglekins or something!

I’m happy. Happyhappyhappy. It’s almost Christmas, my boys are doing great, and I have someone to spend time with. COMPANY! Who’d have thought it eh?

Hope you’re all doing well, how’s the rush up to Christmas going? 2010 has *got* to be a better year, right? RIGHT?

After NaBloMaHoWhaEvThFu I decided to take a few days off the blogging. I will still be aboot, just not every! single! day! *god* that was exhausting! Plus whenever I take out my camera everything’s just so bloody washed out with the on-camera flash that Zack looks as pale as can be. *sigh*Only another… hm… 4 months (?!?) of darkness. Oh joy. At least I’ve got someone nice to spend the time with now though.

Today is the last day of NaBloPoMo, and I’ve managed to post every day for the last 30 days!

There were times in the last week or so that I wondered whether to just not bother, but in the end I’d rather write than not, even if it is just about our day to day life. After all, that’s kind of what this blog is all about, right?

We finally have our sun back it seems, or have for the last few days at least, and boy does it make a difference to our days.

Zack has been *very* snuggly today and I am loving it, and Max is his usual happy smiley little self. I really do feel pretty damn lucky to have such awesome sons. I wouldn’t change my life right now for anything.

It’s so hard seeing Zack upset,after saying bye to his Dad for eg, although it wasn’t as bad this time as the last. I get that heart-wrenching feeling and I just wish I could take it away from him so he didn’t ever have to feel that way. On the other hand, he’s learning as he goes, and it will help to shape who he is. I just need to be there for my boys when they need me.

As the years go on I suppose that’ll be less and less, so for now I’m going to make the most of my boys needing their mum, and enjoy all the snuggles and kisses and general awesomeness that they are.

Sometimes I see glimpses of what they’ll look like when they grow up. Around the eyes and the nose. As soon as I see those gorgeous baby/child mouths though I forget what I was even looking at. I guess only time will tell with that one!

So I got to see New Moon yesterday while the boys spent the day with their dad. Ohhh Zack was *so* pleased to see him, and Max took Zack’s lead, so was very happy and smiley and good with him.

I want to see it again!

Oh! My! God! Those wolf-boys! Rrrr!

The main thing though, the boys had a great time with their dad, and although Zack was sad to see him leave again this time (breaks my heart seeing him so sad), it wasn’t quite so bad cause now he knows that he’ll come back for another visit.

Max ate like a trooper apparently, and Zack got some dress up clothes, so he’s been running around the house as the red power ranger. I will get a pic if he’ll ever stay still enough!

Today was a pretty chilled out day. Max slept in, Zack snuggled up in bed with me this morning, and I got to dose till about half 9, so all in all a good start to the day! It was gorgeous out but absolutely freezing, so we bathed in the sun streaming through our living room and played together. They even went to bed well tonight!

All in all, it’s all good at the mo.
