Hey music lover's, it's been a while but here is your dose of some tracks I've been enjoying this year. A few are new releases, while others have only just caught my attention. I also want to share music news from some of my friends which you can check out and support.

Jacqui Bennett & Max Winfield - Turn Down The Lights (Lizzie Curious Remix): Starting off with a bright and energetic track which will not fail to get the party started!
Leanne Louise - Growing Up: If you need a boost for the new year, this is all you. Positive, powerful, motivational with a lively D&B track underneath. She also has a fun UKG track out with Kroose "The One" which I'm also enjoying right now.
Jamie Jones & Jazzy - We Groovin: One of my all time favourite's right now. This has such a gorgeous chilled yet funky summer vibe, rhythmic beats and catchy vocals.
Sonny Fodera, D.O.D, Poppy Baskcomb - Think About Us: There's something about this track which is just heady. The production brings exciting rises, moody basslines and a rhythmic beat together with a catchy vocal.
James Hype - Waterfalls (ft. Sam Harper & Bobby Harvey): This one has that energetic beat but also brings an edgy tone on the vocals.
4andre - Tease Me: Yep, it's all over TikTok and I'm loving it with a catchy beat and fun vocals.
Alok & Jazzy - The Heat: Along the same lines as we groovin - this is energetic but also gives that relaxed, sunshine feeling.
BBYx - 2005: To put it simply, this is a hair-whipping, jump-up naughty rave track!
Too Much · Dove Cameron: Catchy lyrics, girl power to the core. This reminds me of Lady Gaga's early work and has a fun dance energy.
Sammy Virji - If U Need It: This one brings a sexy attitude and that deep, dark club mood.
Charli XCX - Von Dutch: This has a bit of a nostalgic vibe when that dirty bass drops, you just want to go a little wild!
Doja Cat - Jealous Type: The strong strides of an 80's beat blended with Doja's soft vocals and a fresh style.
JoJo - Ready To Love: Remembering her chart toppers from the noughties, she's back with this sultry contemporary number which I adore.
Kehlani - Folded: Another sultry R&B track which boasts of sweet melodic vocals and a smooth track.
AJ Tracey & Jorja Smith - Crush: A edgy track full of bass and an amazing complex creation when Jorja's incredible voice kicks in.
FooR x Wavysof - Oh No: A dark bassline and a kicky beat with great attitude in the vocals.
Haley Joelle & Oskar Med K - I Think I'm Addicted: Another TikTok find - nice production and catchy lyrics.

Insane House feat. Romarti - Physical Addiction EP

The heavy rumbles of bass and thick monotonous beat create a dark techno setting which is carried through each track.

The set commences with the murky remix of ‘Arabic’ from Romarti. The next track ’Acid Groove’ plays with a whirlwind of sharp electronic synths. Produced with Romarti, third track ’Elements’ has a fresh and dynamic touch to get the crowd excited. The title track ‘Physical Addiction’ delivers an experimental structure with a hard, intense atmosphere. Final track ‘Paradise’ brings a powerful, spiralling synth and pumping energy.

Insane House gives progressive techno sounds as well as some aggression in this release. He explains that the collaboration with Romarti brings a “radical change” to his music.

I'm still in holiday mood and this is the track that is keeping me bouncing. With a soulful and light rhythm it takes me back to a feelgood, dancing vibe. Only Mauritius can have a song about coconut drink!

Zack Knight ft Jasmin Walia - Bom Diggy Diggy

I've just come back from Mauritius and this is my song of the holiday. Between me and my soul sister, this is the one song we continued to sing throughout the trip. Watching the film "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety" for the first time was interesting, I mean it was totally cheesy like a lot of Bollywood comedies, but great for all the family to enjoy on a chilled movie night. This song comes in at the intro and we are dancing!

Gordey Tsukanov - Opacity (Solarstone Retouch)

A simple, slick trancer with an uplifting state of mind.

This one has been buzzing around as an ID for a few months, first surfacing at Solarstone’s Open To Close (in Dolby Atmos) at Ministry of Sound back in January. It is a deep and dark sultry affair, which moves at a sedate 126pm. The backstory; Gordey, having previously released the majestic ‘Radiance’ on Pure Prog back in 2016, sent ‘Opacity’ as a demo to Solarstone, who saw within the demo a glimmer of something truly glorious, if only the track could be stripped down and reassembled with a clear intention; maximum impact in a big, dark fog-filled room - lit only by strobes. The impact of this track on the floor can’t be overstated, and the key-change twist which hits at 6 minutes in is something of a moment.
