This shoot with Anna Talley was amazing. We had so much fun, even though the mosquitos were out for gallons of blood for that day!! Anna has been so patient while I have been editing the mad rush of wedding and Christmas portrait season. I had to take a break to give her a sneak peek of some of the photos!

Arica and Kevin's Engagement Session!!!

I am so super excited about Kevin and Arica's wedding in October!! They are such a fun, sweet and totally up for anything couple! We had a blast shooting their engagement portraits. I wish the "perfect" light would have stayed for at least an hour longer bc I could have kept shooting them all night! Here are a few of my favorites from their session! Kristin and Billy were married on August 6, 2011 at The Heritage Center in Vero Beach, surrounded by their family and friends. I had the pleasure of photographing Kristin's sister, Megan's wedding a couple of years ago so it was such a pleasure to have the opportunity to capture Kristin's special day! Tripson Family Portraits

The Tripson Family Portraits were taken at "Waldo's Secret Garden" which is the family property of Robb's Parents. I love this place. I photographed a rehearsal dinner there a few months ago as well as engagement portraits and the property is so beautiful and unique. Will was such a fun sport to photograph. I told him I could sing and he asked if I was being sarcastic! SOOOO FUNNY! Yes, Will, I was being sarcastic. God did not bless me with a beautiful voice! Ben, Summer, Morgan and Autumn are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their newest addition. Baby Boy Monroe is scheduled to make his arrival this month and I can't wait to meet him (and photograph him). Autumn really made this session a lot of fun for me! She is the funniest thing! Sarah and Kevin were an amazing couple to work with. They are from New York but decided to travel to Vero Beach for their wedding to be close to their families. They were married at The Moorings Club on my wedding anniversary, April 30th! They had the most amazing design, decor, and florals. Lara's Theme did a great job with this wedding! Ed Meade with Class Act Productions provided the music for the evening. Always a pleasure!! The amazing Cindy Goetz and Lindsay Nafzigger provided make-up and hair! What a team! Celebrating 5 years in business!!

This past February marked the 5 year anniversary for A Misty Moment Photography. I have met so many amazing clients and vendors along the way and have had SO MUCH support from my family and friends that I had to celebrate with them! What better place to host a party then the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa! I gathered together some of my FAVORITE vendors and it turned out to be an AMAZING event! Panache Weddings and Events helped me plan it the entire way and they also set up a beautiful design in the room! They are so amazing at what they do. I am no good at decorating and told them a few ideas I had and they not only gave me exactly what I wanted, but FAR exceeded my expectations. I was in tears when I saw the room! They are simply the best!!!! Cassereccio provided an awesome topsy turvy, funky cake that was absolutely delicious! They also created the cute "M" cookies to give as favors! Ed Meade with Class Act Productions provided the music which the kids absolutely loved. (I think Cindy loved it more though! ;) haha!) Cindy Goetz did my makeup along with my daughter Emily's and Lindsay Naffziger did our hair! (Wow, did we look like Hollywood stars!! It was an awesome "Girls" afternoon! We haven't had time alone like that in a while! Thank you girls, we loved being pampered!) Jill with Pink Pelican Florist provided all of the centerpieces and florals. It was so easy working with her. I told her tall, white and black, and funky with feathers.. Man did she get me! I LOVED THEM! New Orleans Party Rentals donated the gorgeous stretch linens and overlays. (Thank you, Mom!!!) And of course a HUGE thank you to Lauren Melillo with The Vero Beach Hotel and Spa for providing us with the Shoreline room for the party! They are simply amazing there! And last but certainly not least, Thank you soooo much to my sweet assistants, Alex and Allison. They spent the entire night snapping pictures for me! I was actually able (for the first time in a long time) to actually enjoy an event and not pick up a camera! Thank you girls for capturing the night for me! Also, one more thanks... To everyone who came to celebrate with me and for the flowers and gifts (which were totally unexpected!). I owe my success to all of you, for being great clients, for being supportive friends and family and for helping spread the word about my business. I want to make sure to mention as well that if it weren't for my amazing husband and 2 incredible children and their love and support, I would not be where I am today! Thank you so much!

Vero Beach Engagement Session, Whitney & Bill

Bill and Whitney are so sweet! I have the pleasure of photographing their wedding on New Years Eve with the fabulous, Panache Girls! Whitney and Bill live in Kentucky and found out that they both also have places down here in Vero Beach and also have the exact same initials! It was destiny for them! Vero Beach Engagement Session, Sarah and Kevin

Sarah and Kevin are two of the coolest people I have ever met! I am so honored that they chose me to photograph their engagement session and wedding! They are so silly and SO IN LOVE! They are getting married in Vero Beach on April 30th of next year, which just so happens to be my anniversary as well!! :D We shot their engagement session at the beautiful "Waldo's Secret Garden". They will be having their rehearsal dinner there and just fell in love with the place. A special thank you to Lara with Lara's theme for setting everything up and a special thank you to Hildie Tripson for allowing us to use the property for the shoot! There were so many different spots that we could photograph at and the light really started fading fast. Even after 2 hours of shooting and 100 million mosquito bites, I could have shot for hours and hours. They were the perfect couple to shoot and we were at a perfect location! It was so much fun and I am looking forward to the wedding next year! :) Here are some of my favorites from the day. This is only a small portion of them and I had the hardest time choosing my favorites! Enjoy!

Baby Miley & Cousin Taylor

Meet Miley and her big cousin, Taylor! Miley is so sweet and has the most gorgeous eyes! Taylor is such a sweetie pie and you can really tell how much she loves her baby cousin! Miley wasn't really digging the whole photo shoot thing... or maybe it was me moving her around constantly? I am looking forward to shooting more pics of Miley in a few months when she can sit up and I can start making her giggle!! :D

Patton Family

Meet the Patton Family. This family came to Sunny Vero Beach for vacation and called on me to shoot their family portraits on the beach. This is a very sweet family and the kids were so cute and fun... and FAST! I felt a connection with this family right away when Tricia told me that her brother and sister in law lost their daughter in March to SIDS. My heart broke for them. I told her I could relate because March is when my sister lost my nephew Aiden and we went through the same type of experience as them at the same time. The family wanted to incorporate McKinley into the portraits. It was a very emotional photo shoot for the family and me. It was very hard to not shed a few tears here and there for them. I could feel their pain the entire time. All I can say is that they are so lucky to have each other for strength and comfort. They are an amazing family and McKinley's beautiful spirit was there the whole time!

Meet the White Family! I have had the pleasure of knowing them for a few years now! My most favorite thing about my job is when I meet clients right after they are engaged and document their most important milestones year after year! That's the story here! I photographed Ashleigh and Wes's engagement photos and wedding photos. Now it was time to document their most exciting adventure yet, their new baby girl, Anna! I kept up with Wes and Ashleigh throughout her whole pregnancy on facebook. I cried many tears reading about all the scares she was going through. Because Anna was so small, they were very worried that there could be something wrong. After many prayers, Anna was born perfect! Some of the photos I saw of them together in the hospital made me ball!! I wish they lived closer so that I could have been there!! They are so special and dear to my heart and I am so glad to have them as friends forever! I am so glad I met you Anna can't wait to document your life as you get bigger! :D
